I've been having problems with my circuit breaker which I just recently had it fixed by a shady electrician but it was only good for a couple of months. I called Rudy on a Friday night and he came to my house the next day. He quickly diagnosed the problem and told me the cost before proceeding. He is an honest guy which is very hard to find these days. I definitely recommend Rudy since he is the only one I trust with my electrical problems. Thank you, Rudy for your amazing job!

Michael is a genius. Pure and simple. He helped diagnose an electrical wiring problem between my condo and my neighbor's condo that was in existence since the place was built 35 years ago.

These guys are the best! I was having an issue with my walk-in closet light. They responded within 5 minutes or less and came out the very next morning. They completed the task in less than an hour and now I have a new beautiful working light in my closet! Saul and his brother were polite, hardworking and informed. Pricing was extremely reasonable, too! I cannot recommend these guys enough.

Hugo was timely in his response and set up an appt very fast. Carlos came out today and our simple fix was done in an hour. Support small local businesses!!

Samuel is terrific!  He did more than originally requested without charging a cent more.  It was a small job (the chain to the light on our ceiling fan no longer worked) and he took care of that problem and replaced the fan switch as well.  I was unable to find an electrician that would even call me back and then Samuel gave us a quote on Yelp, showed up on time and quickly got the job done.  He is a very personable and knowledgeable young man and I am thrilled to have found him.

Brad is an awesome person and a superb, responsible electrician.

Several items in our home were in need of repair, including a kitchen light, doorbell and thermostat. Ted (Mr. Fixit) is a great troubleshooter and easily found the source of the problems, getting them fixed one after the other. There are plenty of times when a specialized technician is overkill, and it's better to find someone who can take care of a broad range of smaller tasks quickly. Ted is a perfect handyman. He was also clear about things that were better handled by a specialist.

Basically, Ted was very professional throughout; he even brought indoor shoes to wear while inside our home (something noted by another reviewer). I appreciated the time he took to explain what he was doing while sharing the pros and cons of different approaches to resolving the problem.

We won't hesitate to call him again and would highly recommend him to others!

It was so nice to come home to a well lit garage last night!  Thank you Habib for doing such a wonderful job of getting power back to our bathroom, fixing the 2-way switch at the stairs and replacing the missing switch and outlet covers in the garage.  AND mounting my car charger and chord to the wall so the outlet doesn't come out again all for a reasonable price!
It was also nice making the call to Habib and he actually answered his phone.  Within 20 minutes he was at my home and even inspired my husband to change out a few light bulbs.

In 2015, we spent a year renovating our San Francisco Victorian. It was a big project which required rewiring the existing footprint, new wiring for new living space, and bringing in more power from the street. We contacted Pedro this spring to ask for an estimate on some electrical work we wanted to have done. Now, at the end of the year, he has not only completely rewired our house but redone our kitchen lighting, added lighting on our deck, and done part of a kitchen renovation for us. WE LOVE WORKING WITH HIM THAT MUCH! :) Pedro is super-knowledgeable and straightforward. He got us competitive estimates quickly and stuck to them. He and his team kept the parts of the house they were working on usable for us (and cleaned up at the end of the day) and we were able to keep living in the house during each project with a minimum of disruption. Because our budget was low, he let us know which small parts of the pre- and post-project loose ends (non-electrical work like patching and painting) we could take care of ourselves to save money - and gave us tips that ended up making a big difference in how we started our next projects. Best of all, Pedro is a great communicator so we always knew what was happening and when. When we needed an inspection rescheduled to accommodate our work schedules, he responded right away. Whether by phone, text, or email, Pedro was super-responsive and clear with us. We always felt our house was in good hands. You will too!

Derek was awesome!  Super professional, quality work, and stuck to the estimate.  We added added outlets and track lighting to our garage to convert it to a home gym.  We are so happy with the results.  Derek was also flexible with timing of our project and very responsive over email and text.  I definitely plan to use him for future electrical projects.

Professional electricians with great customer service, and experience.

I am a electrical contractor.  I have to say that I have had enough problems with them. when ordering lights they do not call the manufacture to see if there is a backorder, you find out at the last minute when you go to pick up the lights.  and when they make a mistake , you the customer end up with the short end of the stick. The guys at the counter are consistently rude and they treat you like a thief by rummaging through your basket when you leave. Avoid at all cost!!!

ONGARO and Sons does not deserve to do business in Marin County.  Our experience with this company with plumbing in our home was disastrous.  They do not take responsibility for their work.  We have had to have other plumbers come in and correct the faulty work done by ONGARO.  Beware of ONGARO in terms of their work, integrity, and responsiveness.  I would never recommend their plumbers or heating specialists to my neighbors.

Very talented guy, he's a warrior in knowing the plan and executing the plan with precision for a successful outcome. He can handle all the details, he is very detailed, timely updates, understands safety, code issues and the complexity of a situation without too many details.

Located walking distance to the building department for electrical permits, they have parking and above all friendly and professional service for highly technical electrical projects observing code requirements.

While Hai Lin's prices are competitive, they alone aren't the main reason this electrician is getting a whopping four stars from this here Yelper.  No sireee Bob.

You see, once upon a time, this lil Yelper received a quote from another electrician.  This man, let's call him Alex quoted me the most reasonable price to install an additional electrical outlet in order to bring my early 20th century home into the modern era.  What's more, Alex agreed to come within a week's time.  That's perfect, I thought, this means the new outlet will be installed just in time for me to watch the newest episode of Mad Men on my new *flat screen tv* in its most opportune location, opposite my comfy, cozy, new sofa!  

Whoaaa nelly, before any of you get all excited and ask, Hey, why aren't you reviewing Alex, then?  I mean, he facilitated you watching Mad Men right on time, dude! -- I have some very bad news.  

Alex the Electrician never showed up that foggy, cold SF morning.  This was much to my dismay, of course, as I'd rearranged my entire schedule AND took off work to meet him at my humble abode.  Four angry messages, and countless desperate internet -- and Yelp -- searches later, I came across one friendly and efficient Mr. Hai Lin.

Hai Lin deserves the four-star rating I gave him because:

(1) He ACTUALLY picked up the phone when I called (imagine that, no voicemail!).
(2) He gave me a reasonable estimate over the phone right then and there.
(3) He agreed to come and help me out that day.  
(4) He was EARLY for the appointment.  
(5) He cleaned everything up and was respectful of my sweet lil pad.
(6) He actually did a really nice job and was friendly to boot!

So, that is how Hai Lin Electric came to be my electrician, and finally got posted onto Yelp.

Workers came out today to fix that most outdoor landscaping lights were not working properly. They arrived early, put their expenses in front of them and very quickly gave some great advice with fair estimates. Offer superior in Greenforce outdoor lighting for superior service and products. Will definitely use again and will highly recommend.
