I feel bad leaving a 2 star rating because Rudy seemed like a pretty cool guy, but the communication wasn't there. Rudy came to my house and I showed him all the things I need to get done, the next day he texted me a top level estimate for everything. I told him I'll review with my dad and get back to him, fast forward 2 weeks later I reach out to him via text and ask if we can just have some things done first and how much each item would be, then the rest later, but he didn't reply. I tried texting again and calling to no avail, and he even has his read receipts on his text so it shows that he read my text but chose not to reply. A simple No or reply would have been ok with me rather than leaving me hangin, very unprofessional.

Michael is a genius. Pure and simple. He helped diagnose an electrical wiring problem between my condo and my neighbor's condo that was in existence since the place was built 35 years ago.

Very professional, direct, and honest.

I wish all contractors I hired were of this caliber!

Had very good customer service with Alejandro. They coordinated on text messaging which was msg preferred way of communication, gave me the earliest appointment, responded promptly, arrived on time and finished the job quickly with good quality work.

Tony is one of the most knowledgeable electricians around.  I have an older home (1927) in SF and he's done some incredible work bringing things up to code.  He's on time, always communicates with you and prices are reasonable.  I would recommend Ideal Electric to anyone that wants someone they can trust in their home.

We had Samuel over for a somewhat complicated light fixture installation, he  did a great job at a reasonable price and was a really nice guy. Can't think of anything else that you would want in an electrician, so I would recommend!

Ted was fantastic - professional, courteous, kind and did excellent work! He installed a new faucet and repaired a broken window expertly and quickly, and was able to accommodate my schedule, despite contacting him on short notice. I'll absolutely be calling him again! Highly recommended.

Habib is a great communicator, reliable, and straight-forward.  He came next day and was responsive on text. Under shelter in place rules, he wore a mask and stayed 6ft away. His price was low and he accepts many payment methods (Venmo, PayPal, check, card, cash). He triaged the issue quickly and helped us create an emergency request with PG&E. When PG&E came, he returned to help guide on the issue.  He didn't try to up sell or needlessly charge me for items. I had asked about replacing a panel and he said it's not needed. He also reworked some of my breakers to be safer.

We've knows Andrei for several years. He's done two major projects at our house as well as several small fixes. He's responsive, reliable, and charges a fair price. I don't know what more you could ask for. He does great work every time. Highly recommend!

Art just helped repair a smoke alarm wiring issue for our home tonight and we were super appreciative of his responsiveness and expertise. He will be our go to electrician for future work, highly recommend!

Pedro was great. Responsive when I contacted him and was able to come out the next day. He is very knowledgeable, prices are reasonable and we would definitely hire him again

Derek was super prompt in returning my phone call and came over the same day to install a new flush mount fixture in my baby's nursery! He had it done in no time and everything worked great! He was super personable too!

First, I just want to say, that I agree with all the wonderful comments about Bart and his two son's commitment to quality and customer service.

Secondly, Bart did large rewire job to replace knob & tube wiring and update a lot of outlets, and add a few more to get up to code, plus add recessed lighting for our home. This also included the installation of a subpanel and repair of existing doorbell. The job was done beautifully, I have zero complaints and only compliments to Bart and his two son's work. 

We also work from home and Bart was great at keeping necessary power on at the end of each day. Each day he'd walk us through what was done, and what the plan was for the next day. This made it easy for us to move around the house and plan where we needed live/work and where to keep the animals (2 dogs, 2 cats, 2 Geckos). The job was done in about 5 days, finishing up early on Friday. We had a Monday morning inspection that passed with flying colors. 

For additional reference, I had 5 electrical contractors walk my job, and out of all them Bart was the most thorough in his job walk, asking a lot of questions and looking at all the detail from top to bottom. He also provided the most comprehensive proposal. 

Thanks Bart, Anthony and Joseph for all the hard work! We miss having you around, but plan on asking you out for some more work in the future!

Carlos & team were great.  They were able to install an electric car charger in short order, and were even able to get a conduit path thru a difficult area without having to open the wall, saving me the time & hassle of drywall patching.  They also suggested a special quad breaker that allowed me to keep the existing panel, rather than having to upsize the whole panel.  Highly Recommended!

If you have questions or need help with making a decision then go elsewhere.  If you want to be talked down to by unhelpful staff then this is the place to go.

Our tub and kitchen sink would not drain on Friday. They came out and snaked both. Obviously busted a pipe and now we have Maples plumbing coming tomorrow Monday the 30th to fix whatever they did. Our whole front porch which is concrete looks damp and discolored which leads me to believe it is flooded underneath the concrete. Probably going to be pretty pricey to figure it out. I will never recommend or use this company again!

Tim to the rescue ... again!

Had thee possible wiring projects for Tim including a garage door that was misbehaving, an apparently superfluous light switch, and a pair of exterior flood lights that appeared to have given up the ghost.  

I first contacted Tim in December just before he was about to leave for an extended vacation; the first date he had available was in late February.  I could have told him to forget it, and looked for some other electrician;  but both Tim and Neil have done work for me in the past and they are quite simply the best at what they do:  Professional, prompt, courteous, knowledgeable, and fair.

As usual, Tim showed up right on time, and was done with all three projects within a couple of hours.  Three cheers for Tim, Neil and all the good folks at Electric City!

P.S.  Just had to update this:  Tim did another job for me, another flood light issue which I thought would be really simple.  But Tim discovered an exposed and frayed wire that had been sparking up against a wooden doorframe!  Pretty scary stuff and if Tim had not discovered it, the property I manage might have gone up in smoke.  Tim is  a life-saver ... literally!

I came in for the first time the other day since Tuggey's recommended me. I was looking for some simple plugs and then had to special order some products, which also came in quickly. All of the workers were very knowledgeable, helpful and patient. Jacky helped me find exactly what I was looking for.

E&E also has great prices so I will definitely be coming back.

This is yet another instance when we say, What would we do without Yelp?!! Based on his reviews, we called Harry (or is it Perry?), the owner and he came out the same day. He was really nice and he found and fixed our electrical issue quickly. Also, his price was very good. Will definitely use him again in the future. Good experience!

I communicated with Greenforce almost entirely by email, which is extremely convenient for me.  Their response time was very quick and they gave me a quote which I found to be quite reasonable.  I wanted to make a couple of changes which they did and then sent me an updated quote.  

They did let me know a few days prior to my install appointment that they would not install in the rain.  Since rain was in the forecast, they wanted to give me the option to reschedule. I thought it was great that I was given that choice in advance.

The day of the install they were running late and did not let me know until I contacted them.  The install itself was slowed due to some rain that came in, but I didn't need to be home so it really did not impact me. The guys who came out to do the install were very nice and professional and took great care to be careful with areas of the house I was concerned about, like the trim around our front door.

Scheduling take down was just as quick and easy and I look forward to using their service again next year!
