iPowerSF Electric Electrician
German and his team were top notch to work with. They provided a quote promptly, showed up when they said they would, did good work, and completed the project efficiently. I would definitely work with iPowerSF again in the future.

RA Electric Electrician
I can't say enough good things about Ricky / RA Electric. If you are here on Yelp wondering who to hire - you should stop now and just get in touch with Ricky.

I actually happened to see a recommendation for Ricky on on another neighborhood site and I decided to reach out.  He responded to me that evening and we set up a time for him to come over to take a look at the job needs.  From there, I got onto his calendar, and now I am sitting here with the jobs done - all within less than a week.

In addition to being very responsive and a great communicator, Ricky arrived on time, was wearing a mask, and he was fantastic and patient with our dog who barked up a storm when she wanted to meet him.  He was respectful of our home and safety (he closed the garage door religiously when he wasn't present in the garage as I had requested) and he left the work area very clean.  He also sent some pictures of the work he did in case we had questions later.  Last but not least, his rate is very reasonable.  We will definitely hire him again for our future needs and we will recommend him to our friends and neighbors!

Redwood Electric Electrician
We've hired a few electricians over the years, but I won't use anyone other than Redwood in the future. After some mixed results with other electricians, I called Jothi to install a light and fix a junction box that had mysteriously died. Jothi arrived on time, quickly addressed both issues, and even cleaned up a few issues that other electricians had left behind. I was truly impressed with how quickly and professionally he handled the projects. Cleaning up the other electrician's mess was just icing on the cake. He's certainly earned my business in the future.

Brookline Electric Electrician
John was prompt, thorough, found and fixed a short in our 21-unit building's multiple meter panel, and charged a very reasonable amount.

The short resulted in power loss to portions of our building, on Christmas Day. I contacted John that day, and in spite of being a Holiday, he responded immediately to fix our problem.

Bay to Bay Electrical Electrician
We recently purchased a brand new dryer that unfortunately stopped working after a few weeks. I first contacted the vendor for servicing, but they claimed that nothing was wrong with the dryer. They recommended that I contact an electrician to inspect the circuit breaker box because a fuse inside the kept popping every time the dryer was plugged in to the outlet.

I reached out to Tom, and he responded almost immediately with a breakdown of the costs/diagnostics. He stopped by the house the following morning and worked through issue, guiding me along the way. I am not an electrician, but it was actually very interesting learning a bit about how the wiring in the house works. He was certain that the issue was with the dryer because there was power running through both the circuit and dryer outlet. But to eliminate the possibility of the issue being with the circuit or outlet, he  went to Home Depot to purchase a new outlet and fuse to test them. Not to our surprise, the newly replaced circuit breaker kept popping which meant that the issue was with the dryer (..be cautious when buying a dryer from Home Depot due to their 48 hour return policy..).

Tom was super friendly, professional, and really went above and beyond to figure out the issue. He even did a quick inspection of the wiring in the garage and added some electrical tape on a wire where its casing had been scraped off over time.

Highly recommend giving him a call. He will be my main point of contact for any electrical issues going forward. Thank you again, Tom!

Valencia Electric Electrician
Natalie was available quickly for a quote, was very professional and seems knowledgeable.  It was a larger job, which led to 2 negatives (minus 1-star for each):
1) She's an independent electrician with no team, so the job would have taken more time start to finish
2) Her quote, compared to 3 other similarly reviewed - 5-star - electrician firms was more than double (several thousand $$).  Obviously, people are welcome to charge what they want, but it may be worth getting a 2nd quote just in case.

Electric Tay Electrician
I contacted Byron as well as a few other electricians to get a quote for my radiant floor heating system which recently stopped working. Byron was one of the fastest to respond and provided a very reasonable estimate. He was always very responsive - I called him and asked him several questions over text before our appointment and he was quick to respond to every one.

He arrived on time to our appointment and was very professional. He quickly examined my thermostat and let me know what the issue was as soon as he found it. He replaced it and he even stayed for a little while after to confirm that it was working properly. I am very happy with his service and will be looking contact him for any issues I have in the future.

Meteor Lights Electrician
I am very pleased with the craftsmanship, attention to detail and the service I got from Meteor Lights. I ordered a cool set lampshades by mail. They were shipped in packaging that protected my purchase.

With my order, Meteor Lights at that time moved to a new location, and the owner / artist had some personal issues and my order was going to take longer than expected. He emailed me, and even included his personal cell-phone for me to call him and speak with him directly. It was something that went the extra mile. I was reassured and thankful that he did this.

They are there to answer questions. Help, and explain your order or help you if need assistance.

Very pleased.

Rick Brown Electrical Contractor Electrician
Rick installed an outlet behind our wall mounted TV. Did a great job, seemed relatively affordable. He's knowledgable, prompt, polite and clean. He recommended a guy that also did a great job repairing the plaster that had to be cut out of the wall to run the wires.

Jaime's Power Solutions Electrician
Exceptional customer service. We originally called out another contractor who cancelled on us last minute. Luckily Jaime was able to be at our house in under an hour to fix our outdoor electrical outlet. Even though it wasn't the outlet I thought it was over the phone (washing machine as opposed to regular), he only charged me a little more. Breaker work also needed to be done and he was able to do that lickity split. Easy to pay as he accepted both cash and zelle. He even replaced the unit with one that was much much nicer. I felt very good with this service and would highly recommend it.

Service Champions Heating & Air Conditioning Electrician
I chose Service Champions at the recommendation  of a friend who was very pleased with their maintenance contract and her new furnace.  I had also met Roberto Moya and listened to his comprehensive presentation of options prior to their purchase.
When I called for an appointment the office staff was pleasant, helpful and able to schedule an appointment quickly.
My service technician was Mike Macias.  He arrived on time, was personable, knowledgable and efficient.  The whole area was protected while he worked and shoe coverings worn coming into the house.  It was cleaner when he left. He clearly explained and visually documented each step of the process so I could understand. At no time did I feel pressured to buy a new furnace, just valued with a clear picture of my choices and the ramification of the choice.
Mike introduced me to his pleasant, personable, expert teammate, Joel Acebu.  Joel clearly and knowledgeably showed me the alternatives of repairing vs replacing my furnace.  When I decided to buy he was able to negotiate a good price.
It was clear they all enjoyed their job and were proud of the company they worked for.
I recommend Service Champions and would use them again.

GPM Electric Electrician
I worked with Gareth through my contractor on a remodel for my place during 2021-2022. I was satisfied with the quality of the work him and his team did.

A little more than a year afterwards, I was having trouble with a pair of outlets in my kitchen, and one in my garage stopped working. I called to ask them to come check them out. The garage was a dumb mistake on my part - it was one of the ones with a switch on the outlet itself that had flipped, so that was just a matter of pushing the button. The kitchen outlets we weren't able to reproduce the issue, but he gave me an estimate of a few hours of work to change out those outlets for the types with switches.

I was really surprised to be hit with a $260 bill for this short visit of less than 10 minutes where no work was done besides pushing a button and giving me a rough estimate. I am sensitive to not wasting the time of his team, and understand why companies charge a service fee for home visits. I was just really surprised by the amount of the charge, especially given the existing relationship, and that this was pertaining to work his team had installed.

I asked if this charge would be credited towards the work that was estimated, and he said he would give me a 15% discount on it rather than a credit (which would amount to far less money given only a couple hours of work). I asked if he would forgive the amount given the prospect of maintaining the business relationship but he said only if we do work within the next month. I paid the bill and let him know we wouldn't be doing business again.
