Just had to add another outstanding review for Light For You.  I came in this afternoon with a lamp that had some kind of a short in it.  Mischa said come back in 20 minutes.  I left it with him and he fixed it perfectly for a very reasonable price.  I looked on YouTube to see if I could fix it myself, but once I got everything undone I realized I wasn't up to it.  Thank goodness we have him as a wonderful resource in our area.  And we had a wonderful discussion of Russian composers and Russian folk music.  And how happy is to be in this country!

We had a long and very difficult experience with PG&E. Eric and his crew was able to help us until the end. Really appreciate it Eric!

This is a long overdue review for Adam's team who did a wonderful job on my house.  I originally contacted Adam to just upgrade our main panel and replace our subpanel due to shoddy work done by the original home owner. After some digging around, we realized that a full rewire of the house was going to be needed.  Given the last minute need  for a rewire and the large scope of such a project, Adam really worked with us to get us what we needed within our allowed budget which I really appreciated.  His team did a great job and was able to complete the full rewire of the house within a week and with minor cuts into the drywall minimizing the amount of repair that was going to be needed. The before and after of our subpanel was like night and day.  I am really happy with the the work that Adam's team did and have every intention of using them again in the near future for other projects.

Brandon Imada was the technician who came to service our A/C.  He arrived on time.  He was very personable and professional.  He seemed very knowledgeable.  He explained what the tune-up will entail and reviewed his findings with me.  He made recommendations to improve the A/C's performance since we are not planning to replace it immediately and his suggestion made sense.  I will surely request that Brandon perform the next tune-up in the fall.

Ross ran a conduit from a sub panel to our laundry room to accommodate our new electric clothes dryer.  This was our first time hiring him and I can't recommend Ross enough. He's professional, punctual and very responsive via text and phone. What's more, his rates are very fair in a town where others charge a kidney to add an extra outlet to a downstairs family room.  We'll be hiring Ross again and again for future projects.

Mario is an expert and offers reliable service. I contacted via Yelp to obtain a quote and received immediate response and service on the same day.

Recently purchased a Tesla (!) and needed a 14-50 Nema outlet installed in the garage. I got another quote from another electrician who told me he needed to also upgrade the panel since it was outdated and dangerous to work on. Kevin came in and confirmed it was outdated, but actually not that dangerous. I felt like he was much more honest and came in ~25% less than the other electrician. I really appreciated his candid and friendly personality. They did awesome work and arrived when they said they would (8am - one minute early!). While upgrading my panel, they were able to provide me with temporary power so I could work/have WiFi.

Bottom line: Recommend Kevin & Bay Electric Crew.

All of a sudden, yesterday there were sparks and a burning smell coming out of my kitchen outlet. The first thing that I did was to shut off power from the main panel.

I want to thank Valiant Home Repair from Yelp. The manager was prompt on responding to my Yelp message within an hour or so. I want to give a shout out to Bill and John for helping us during the time we needed an outlet replaced. Both techs came with masks and maintained their distance. They were both knowledgeable and appreciate with all the information they provided us.

My piece of advice is that you can rely on this company and their techs are very helpful. They were ready to answer any questions or concerns we had.

I had a problem with my circuit breakers and the electrician was able to coach me through fixing it over the phone without having to come on-site or charge me. He was very friendly and helpful.

I can't thank Darren enough for the wonderful work he did for me and my business partner.  I am a real estate agent, and just 48 hours before the scheduled close of escrow, our seller noticed a GFCI outlet that tripped repeatedly, and then could not be reset immediately.   We couldn't tell whether the issue was simply the outlet or whether there was a larger issue at hand.  I made calls to seven electricians first thing this morning.  Three called back but either didn't work in area or could not accommodate us in a timely manner.  Darren called back, met us 45 minutes later, and had the problem solved in another 30 minutes.  He was careful, tidy and very professional. I will happily call him and recommend him in the future for our clients' electrical needs.  I'm still waiting to hear from the other three companies.

I needed a consultation from an electrician who was familiar with the Berkeley nuances and would meet with me to talk over a project. The scheduling process was absolutely painless, and that's an early indicator to me of how the rest of the process will go. I received a text message when Zalman was on his way, then he was able to evaluate the state of the house and provide excellent guidance. I would definitely use them again, and just like everyone else here I suggest you call them first in order to get the best outcomes for your project

I'm a first time customer of Norseman Electric.  I was very impressed right from my first conversation with Cynthia to set up my appointment.  Randy came out to diagnose and fix 2 of the things on my list.  The rest will be taken care of at the next appointment. This is a company that is local to Lamorinda, and is very professional.  They care that you are 100% satisfied with the work they do and if you aren't, Randy stressed that he wants to know about it.  My kind of company.  I look forward to having the other items on my list taken care of by Norseman Electric.

Edward was EXTREMELY prompt - he responded within 5 minutes of doing the automated Yelp quote, we got on FaceTime so he could scope out the situation virtually, and then he came the next day. He even stayed later just to make sure our Tesla was getting all of the power delivery that we needed.

We needed a 240V outlet for a new dryer on a relatively quick basis. Armando did a nice job, courteous and professional. Gave helpful and fair advice.

As I was preparing my apartment for tenant's move in, I found out the refrigerator was out of power. Immediately, I decided to put the service request on yelp's. I received several responses within 30 minutes. The DE Electric replied and scheduled an inspection and repair within 2 hours of time. Work was done in one hour, checked the non-functional GFCI outlets and regular outlets for the refrigerator. Then of course the electric panel inside the apartment. Identified the problem Quad breaker for the refrigerator and replaced with a new one. The work was done professionally and clean. Thanks to DE Electrical for the speedy response and great service and thanks to Yelp's!

I hired Formosa Electric to upgrade the electrical in my house. Roger, the owner, responded to my texts promptly and came by on a Saturday morning to give me an estimate. He carefully explained what was needed and made recommendations based on what he would do for his own home. I appreciated his honesty and expertise - he advised what upgrade work was necessary vs. what were nice to haves. After receiving bids from three other electricians, I decided to go with Formosa. Roger was very likable and professional, and his fees were reasonable.

The work was done today and I'm a satisfied customer. Roger and his crew showed up on time, and even confirmed our appointment a day in advance. They completed the work and cleaned up at the end of the day. I appreciate that Roger and his crew wore shoe covers in my home without me having to ask. Also, they minimized the amount of time that my house would be without power for the upgrade work. I would hire Formosa again, and I'd recommend them to friends/family.

Ramon came out to give us an estimate for low voltage lighting in our yard. We already had an existing system. But it wasn't work. Ramon explained why it wasn't working and gave us options for either repairing it or replacing it. We elected to replace it.

WOW! The work is outstanding. Our backyard is beautifully lit now, bright and welcoming. Ramon did a great job, on budget and in less time then he quoted. The quality of the workmanship is excellent. I cannot recommend them highly enough!

Sid spent a lot of time messaging me about a project I am working on.  Our conversation was split into two branches in Yelp (not sure how) and I replied to the second branch.  When Sid didn't see any replies to the first branch he reached out to make sure I got his message.

Sid gave me very specific and good advice and offered to review photos of our sub panel and the project.  Turns out I was able to take care of the problem without his having to come out.  I would definitely use him with confidence if I had something else I could not take care of.

This place is a rip off!  Do not use,  work not done right the first time and charge you more ($600) for coming a second over time and still did  not fix the problem, but it not there fault.... ! Now I have to get a real electrician to fine the problem that these guy said they fixed..... Please don't even call !!!!
