Someone in my household decided to fix a little electrical problem on his own and the next thing I knew, an entire wall of electrical outlets was non-functional and an electrical cord now snaked out from behind my refrigerator to an outlet on the other side of the room.  This was not the look I was going for.

The last time I'd needed an Electrician the soonest I could get one was weeks out.  I hedged my bets and contacted three well-reviewed Electricians (including the company I'd hired previously) and Electrical Assistance (Victor) was the first to respond.  That evening, via text, he told me he could fix the problem, estimated the cost, and told me I should call in the morning to get an appointment for two days later.  

The other two electricians responded to my call, but not until about 1 day later.  

Electrical Assistance showed up on time - early, actually, with advance notice - fixed my problem in 1 hour ($185/1st hour, $150/hour thereafter), and left their work space neat and orderly.  Victor and his assistant were masked and respectful of social distancing.  Everything about the experience was nothing short of perfect.  

Save the electrical work to an experienced pro.  I have found my - and maybe your - new electrician.

We hired Victor and the team at Electrical Assistance to split the electric meter in our garage in San Francisco. This was one of the requirements of converting our tenancy in common (TIC) into a condo. Like everything that needs government approval, it was WAY more complicated than we could have imagined. The project ended up being a huge pain in the butt!

The silver lining is that Victor was amazing throughout the process. He's efficient, highly communicative, and went above and beyond to make sure we got the project done. Even though we had a ton of bottlenecks from PG&E, Victor made sure we got it done right and was extremely fair in his pricing. Can't thank him enough and highly recommend working with him & the team!

I highly recommend Victor and Electrical Assistance. Victor has a broad base of knowledge and follows current electric work codes. I have called on him several times over the past two years for a variety of jobs, including hanging and connecting light fixtures, changing and adding switches, removing old wiring, and most recently, adding a new socket through a wall. I plan to have him install an EV charging station when I get a new car sometime next year. In all cases he and Juliano, his assistant, have been prompt and professional, and have followed up with me after doing the work. Victor and staff came to my home and did an assessment of what I needed (a few ceiling fans with lights installed and a dedicated outlet for an electric fireplace installed) and provided an estimate that beat the other guys. Then, when I was ready to get started he scheduled me quickly and got the job done within a day. Victor pays attention to detail and is safety oriented (as any good electrician should be). He was great at communicating what needed to be done and why. I will trust Victor with any electrical project I have in the future. So glad to have found Electrical Assistance!

I highly recommend. My dad got electrical work done in his backyard for lighting and the jacuzzi about 8-9 months ago. Recently the lighting went out after a few rain storms and my dad hired him to come out and fix it. He came out, found it was a switch issue, he went out and got a new switch, installed it and would not accept payment for his work. He said he guaranteed his work and that's the warranty he provides. He is a reliable electrician.

Had a fairly straightforward job1 replacing a breaker- that was made difficult by my uncooperative panel. They did a great job addressing it in a timely manner and on budget. Will be using in the future.

We just bought an old 1950s house that needed quite a bit of electrical work done and luckily found Victor to do the work. He upgraded our service from 100amps to 200amps and performed a number of other things to get our house in proper order. He is very knowledgeable, professional, and most importantly honest in his work. We're hoping to have him back when we remodel the house down the road. I would highly recommend him to anyone and everyone!

Victor did an excellent job with some recent electrical work we needed. This project was to add a washer & dryer to a 3rd floor unit in a 100+ year old building in SF. We initially thought we needed a panel upgrade for the new circuit. During his initial visit to provide an estimate he was by far the most knowledgeable of the electricians, and he walked us through the pros and cons of what our options were. Most electricians weren't interested in the job or gave outrageous quotes. We ended up finding a solution that was workable and didn't require an extensive amount of work, the whole project only took one day (with a lot of work on tall ladders). Communication was great via text or call when needed.

I'd definitely use Victor again for any future electrical work.

Victor has helped me twice recently, both times on short notice. The first time was to take a look at my generator transfer switch before I purchased a portable generator. Victor checked it out (without charge) and confirmed I was all set. Then I bought a generator and asked him to rewire the circuits connected to the transfer switch. He did a thorough, precise job at a very reasonable rate. I'll be calling Victor the next time I need electrical help.

We recently had Victor do some electrical panel work so we'd have a backup generator. His service was exceptional. For each appointment he either showed up on time, or called to let us know he was slightly delayed. (This was because of the good service he was providing to another customer.) When he arrived, he was respectful of our COVID needs, wearing a mask the entire time, and respecting distancing needs. His work was prompt, skilled, and completed in a timely way. He even did all of the work with the city to facilitate the permitting process. We'd be happy to recommend his service to others.

Victor is an outstanding electrician and an extremely professional businessman.  I needed circuits relocated from a fuse box to an outside main panel and after contacting several electricians I chose Victor - and I am so glad I did.  Victor is so easy to work with and I appreciate his honesty.  Trying to prepare a house for a rental I have had several thoughts on how to solve various problems. Thank you Victor! I requested a quote online, got an email from Victor asking me to call him and answer a few questions. After I gave him a few more details he had me flip the switches on the breaker (my son and husband assure me they had already done this) and the power in the bathroom and my son's room came back on!  Victor was patient and helpful on the phone and we avoided the need for a visit. Victor is the man you want advising you on your electrical needs. He's professional & knows his industry well. We had a huge 6 month project to complete (panel upgrade to a 1920's home) & he was extremely flexible in working with our schedules. Victor was super helpful and help us efficiently and quickly with a non-working circuit in a critical area.  This was my first time using his services and I will definitely call him again when needed.  I rarely take the time to write a recommendation, but he was great.

Throughout my house, Victor and his crew replaced all electrical wiring and installed recessed lighting.  They also replaced my electrical panel, installed outdoor lights, and installed a fan in the bathroom.  At first, I was skeptical about trusting an electrician, who only had five reviews, especially for a job that I thought was large by my standards.  I am happy that I hired Victor and would hire him again for any size project.  The other reviews that I read about Victor are accurate.  I concur that he is punctual, thorough, good communicator, reasonably priced, knowledgeable, courteous, and professional.  I will just add that his work is done on schedule with no surprises.  Victor made several key suggestions for ways of improving my house, such as bringing an old fume hood up to code, and asking if I also may like a few lights the crawl space.  Thank you.

Victor was great!  In a world where contractors all seem to show up late or not at all, Victor was right on time (actually, 2 minutes early!).  Professional,l & courteous to boot!
