Ike's Electric

The strike on our home external electric gate was acting up.  Isaias, the business owner, quickly responded to our request for service and came over within two days to fix the problem.  Isaias was thorough and knowledgeable in his assessment of the problem and spent almost two hours working on the gate, making sure the fix worked well and reliably.  This is our second experience with Ike's Electric and I cannot say enough about their great service, attitude, and professionalism.  This is a family-owned business that treats its customers well.  They are respectful, courteous, friendly.  Plus, they know their stuff!  This was a small job in scope in comparison to the other types of electrical work they do, but they treated our problem as if it were the only one on their plate.  Ike's Electric is our go-to electrical company and I highly recommend them to anyone needing service.

I messaged Ike's after hours about a circuit breaker issue that we needed urgently repaired. He replied immediately even though it was after business hours and gave a suggestion to try before they came out. It worked! Thank you so much - will definitely call you for future electrical needs

I searched and searched for an electrician to try and reinstall an intercom system for one of the apartments that I managed and Ikes Electric was the only one that responded timely and was consistent with staying in touch with me.

Isaias from Ike's Electric showed up masked, on time, prepared, and got to work right away replacing 6 dimmer switches (after we switched from incandescent to LED bulbs). The old switches dimmed erratically and flickered. The new switches dim gradually and don't flicker at all. He even separated his waste into 2 small sacks - recycle and garbage. Fast and friendly to us and our dog. We'll use Ike's Electric again for our future electric needs!

Ike was professional, highly skilled, on time, very respectful with a PPE face mask, fun to communicate with, reasonably priced, and awesome to deal with. He repaired our dryer exhaust turbine: disassembled it, dislodged debris, cleaned the equipment, reassembled it, AND remounted it to the wall in a fashion that was *much better* than the original builders had devised. Exactly what was needed.

Ike is easy to work with. He listens and then does exactly what you want.  His guys clean up really well after themselves.  Only one time was i a bit disappointed in the job his guys did but I guess I could live with it considering everything he's done right.

They installed a 14-30 outlet in my garage on it's own circuit, with no small feat of indoor and outdoor conduit, right before the pandemonium hit. The work has proven flawless and they even routed the conduit better/more hidden than we'd discussed for the price. Electrical work in the city is not cheap but I doubt you'll find a better price for this quality.

We needed a super quick replacement of an outlet at the request of the City - and Isaias made it happen. Not only did he reply much faster than anyone else we reached out to, he was expert enough to let us know that the repair we were requesting was not up to code! It was so nice to have the piece of mind knowing that we made the safest repair - and were able to have it done so quickly.

This is your company for electric in SF, I don't see how it gets better than Ike's.

I cannot say enough good things about Ike's Electric. We've used them twice: once a year or so ago to install a Doorbird, and then recently for another small issue. Both times they've been responsive, helpful, and honest. I truly appreciate that Isaias will walk you through the issues, and problem solve with you. He is honest and has never tried to sell us on work you don't need. Lastly, I also love that he cleans up after himself. Just an exceptional and professional business at reasonable price. Amazing! I had Emeril Lagasse air fryer 360 - door spring popped off in less than a year - Ike fixed only to have it pull off again during his testing. He called and explained it needs a larger spring - after paying a ridiculous sum for it I said do whatever is needed . An appropriately sized spring later I can use this thing again. Ike's Electric - 5 stars! The oven.. none.

Isaias and crew are great. We've used them twice, once for a medium size project which included adding new circuits, outlets, light fixtures, moving other fixtures and then just recently on a small project adding two new ceiling boxes, light fixtures and new switch. Both times they did excellent work, on time and to quote. I was particularly impressed with the time Isaias spent with a difficult lighting fixture to make sure the install looked perfect. Highly recommend.

Alex and his team just knocked out a bunch of pesky jobs that we'd been putting off for years. Great communication, super quick turn around, nice people, great paperwork process. An entirely awesome experience.

My initial contact to find an electrician was through Yelp's message system. Among the half dozen replies I received, Ike's Electric was a standout for being thorough and helpful. The appointment was easy to book and the email confirmation and reminder messages reassured me that Ike's valued my business.

The day arrived several weeks later, and I let Isaias go to work. He expertly upgraded my light switch and in the process gave me an appreciation for why even a seemly simple job like converting a ceiling fixture to a dimmer can benefit from a skilled electrician. Friendly and thorough, from start to cleanup. He left the area clean and looking sharp.

Isaias was also happy to take a few extra minutes to discuss another, more involved project for my home and provide his estimate. I will be reporting back for a followup upon completion because I will be using Ike's again.

TOP NOTCH SERVICE AND WORK!  They came when they said they would, they did the work well, they cleaned up after themselves, and they finished on time.  All of them, from the man who did the bid to the workers who did the electrical work, were nice, professional, cordial and a pleasure to work with.  We'll use them again and again.

Another 5 Star rating for Ike's and Isaias!  We blew a circuit the other night, I called/emailed six or seven electricians to see if someone could help.  Only two responded -- one who had moved out of town, and Isaias, who said he would do his best to squeeze us in between his other appointments.  

He showed up when promised, diagnosed the problem quickly and explained the options and recommendations well, and luckily had the required spare part in his truck (for an old panel, very lucky!).  The price was quite reasonable, especially for such efficient and responsive service.  And on top of which, as others have mentioned, he's a nice and friendly guy.

I have already talked to him about taking care of some long-delayed electrical projects around the house, and expect to hire him again soon for them.

The electricians that came to my home for the day were respectful, professional and fun.  There were a variety of projects from rewiring the kitchen so that the frig maintained power to installing motion detector lights outside.  They even went so far as to recommend a wireless solution for cable that meant saving me money at the expense of their performing less work.  This game me a high level of trust.  They pay process was so convenient with an email to a link to pay by credit card.  I trust and recommend Ike's.

Full props to SF native Isaias and Ike's (Isaias has taken over his father's business).  Professional, knowledgable, more than fair prices and friendly service to beat. Made my convenient appointment online and rec'd text reminders all along the way and up to his on-time arrival.  I had relatively smaller fixes but he explained everything to me along the way and gave recommendations how to improve lighting in my home.

My experience with Ike's electric was amazing. So good that I'm already  going to work with them on another project (as soon as the parts arrive). I had a doorbird intercom system installed, which needed power & ethernet run, and attached to an electric strike. It all worked perfectly the first time! Also, we had lights installed over our door numbers, which required further electric wiring through walls, and they are awesome. Highly recommend!

Isaias just came by to fix some old dimmers in our old house. He explained the issues, proposed various solutions, fixed them, fixed some other low-quality DIY wiring we found as we worked through stuff, and along the way, we had a great conversation. We have had Ike's electric at 3 of our homes now, and all have been great experiences.   We just moved into a very cute but old house, that had 7 lights in the entire home.  We worked with Ike's and installed 3 main lights and 24 recessed lights plus sconces, installed security lights and added outlets.    There team is not on very knowledgeable but also friendly and easy to work with.    Ike's is responsive and arrives and does the work on time.  I would definitely continue to use them for all our electrical needs.

Called Ike's based on Yelp reviews.   Immediate response and he was able to come out the same day and quickly diagnosed the problem,  which turned out to be a problem on PG&E's end.   Ike patiently and clearly answered my questions and was able to give a ballpark estimate on since future work whilst at our condo.

I have used Ikes electric for many years at the restaurants that I have run. Recently I opened a new restaurant and Ikes and crew were hands down the best contractors on site. Always professional, fully explain what they are working on and great follow through until the job is done. They have really made my place shine and were a pleasure to work with. Takes a while to get a first appointment as they are slammed with business but they show up exactly when scheduled, act like professionals, are incredibly courteous and communicate all the way. Follow up work was done with exactly the same level of professionalism.

Isaias and his crew were great to work with from start to finish. We collected several bids for the installation of our EV charging station and not only was Ike's competitive they were easy to work with. It was a complicated installation in a condo building in San Francisco but they knew exactly how to proceed where the other electrical contractors we had look at it were uncertain how they would do it. Also the crew Isaias sent out to do the actual work were incredible. Corey and Lin were professional and good to work with. And really nice guys. I highly recommend Ike's Electric for your Tesla Charging station or any electrical projects.

Ike and his team did a great job updating our old track lighting with new recessed lights, as well as installing some new fixtures onto our existing plaster rosettes. They also installed a fan in the bedroom. Overall they were very easy to work with, responsive, on time and friendly. We have already recommended them to friends.

We have used Isaias and his team for multiple projects on our San Francisco Victorian, which has needed lots of help over the years.  We have always been impressed with their professionalism, timely communication, and honesty around anticipated costs and pros and cons of the decisions we were confronted with.  They installed a third electric meter in our garage to comply with condo conversion requirements, added grounded outlets to our living room, and have troubleshot and fixed several outlets and light fixtures that were suffering from old age.  It is rare to find a professional with such integrity these days, cannot recommend more highly!

Obstacles Such as climbing 4 flights of stairs with a 12 foot ladder was not a problem for Cory to do to  get our job of fixing lighting in our 15 foot ceilings done carefully and with a smile. The week after he finished this job our dishwasher outlet went out. Ike's gladly came out on very short notice and got that job done with a smile too. What a pleasure it is to work with Ike's! Looking to see if an induction oven would work for us. They told us no because the wires couldn't handle the amps. They didn't charge us for the service call. Score.

All of the great Yelp reviews for Ike's Electric were why I hired them -- and now I see what others were raving about.   Isaias (the owner) was very responsive, communicative, and helpful in diagnosing my situation via email, and Emilio, who came out to do the work, was just fantastic.   Emilio was prompt, extremely knowledgable, conscientious, and friendly.   He assessed the situation quickly and he zipped through my 'punch list' in no time, educating me along the way by explaining to me what he was doing.   When Emilio left, everything was completed 100%, and I couldn't be happier with the service provided.   These guys were great.

I called Ike's for help with an apparent power outage isolated in our bathroom. Instead of sending someone out for a service call, Isaias first walked me through a couple of common causes of the problem - which led to an immediate resolution of the issue.  

So to sum up, while I can't say that I was an Ike's customer, I do plan to call Ike's when we need an electrician.

we had some significant electrical work that we had been putting off for some months because i dreaded having to look for an electrician. however, i realize now i should've contacted Ike's much sooner. it was easy to set up a consultation using their online form, and while we had to wait a few weeks for an appointment that would fit into our schedule, it was worth the wait. Isaias was on time, knowledgeable and patient with my many, many questions. he was also very responsive via email and was great at explaining different options. there was a lot of back and forth before my husband and i were able to decide on a final plan, and Isaias was very easy to communicate with throughout. when we received the final estimate, all labor and material costs were broken down rather specifically so there were no surprises. and when we had a few unexpected bumps in our project, Isaias was very quick to let us know what the additional cost would be.

Corey and Leonard were the primary electricians working on our project, and they were both great-- friendly, respectful, hard-working.

our project took longer than expected because of a family emergency with the crew at Ike's, and weather that prevented the completion of outdoor work. however, this is a minor issue because Isaias was great with communicating with us throughout the whole process, and we are extremely happy with the work that was done.

I have repeatedly used Ike's Electric over a 3 year period and have received stellar, personable service every time.  Isaias is very knowledgeable and has saved me considerable money by his recommendations.  He has installed garden lighting, impressive up-lighting in my living room, enabled charging for my electric car, as well as fixing misc. electrical mess-ups that my general contractor caused.  He's the BEST electrician I've encountered, and he's quick, professional and kind.

I think they probably did a good job with the electricity, but who knows. I'm not an electrician.

What I do know is, they left a giant mess for me to clean up.
The white tiles on my bathroom floor had so many black marks, multiple per tile, many tiles. There were also hard-to-clean marks in my sink.  How does that even happen?? they weren't doing anything with the sink!  What in the world are these black marks from?  they couldn't have been from ladders - there were just too many of them. it couldn't have been shoes - how did it end up in the sink??

Those marks wouldn't clean up with a paper towel and bathroom cleaner, I had to use an AJAX scouring pad and scrub nearly the entire bathroom floor on my hands and knees followed by a mop down.  

Also, we purposely took our bathroom towels out of the bathroom and put them in our bedroom so they wouldn't get dirty.  anyway, let's just say that putting them on our bed wasn't enough, we had to hide the towels in other locations so they wouldn't use it

To change our light switch from one to two switches, they cut out all the drywall around it, so now we're left with a light switch on an island of no wall.  every time i try to flip on the light switch my fingers accidentally go into the wall.  
Obviously this needs to be fixed.  I can't believe the amount of dry wall they cut out that now we have to get someone to fix that, and then also paint.  Also the dry wall not in the affected area somehow got affected.  there are nicks and dings that have to be fixed and repainted.  

Also, they left gravel and crap all in the carpets of our bedroom.

maybe all electricians do this? i don't know, it's my first experience with electricians.

Ike is a true professional and does outstanding work! I live in an 26 y.o. small HOA, of 8-townhomes, in a courtyard setting in SF. It was time to replace the common area walkway/pathway lighting. We were starting to have issues with the automatic timers not working and some lights burning out. So we researched several electricians with experience with such lighting.

After meeting Ike (Isaias), and speaking with him, he seemed to be very knowledgeable about lighting. His company has been in business for years, where he took over for his dad. Ike assessed the issues and explained them to us. He made his recommendations, some things our HOA never thought about, in an effort we thought we can do on our own. The light timer was shot and replaced it with a timer, as well as a new transformer. Ike recommended a timer/transformer combo unit and referred our HOA to an outdoor lighting specialty company to check out their products. So we can order what we personally wanted for our own aesthetics feelings to fit our property. Something Ike suggested, that we make personal calls on a selection, rather than his decision, and avoid conflicts with our HOA. The kits included all necessary parts. Costing more than what our HOA has seen in the past, we decided to research the big box home improvement stores. We looked at potential/compatible kits and priced the individual parts separately. And priced parts separately from Ike's online referral company. The kits were a better deal. But we noticed the quality of lights at the big box stores were low quality to us. Cheap materials.

The longest wait was our decision of where to purchase. As soon as we made out selection, we gave a window of delivery to Ike. I received the kit within days from the East Coast. Ike came the very next day. He sent one of his crew guys, Leonard, who was very knowledgeable, professional and friendly. And Ike also came by to assist, after checking out other current job sites. They finished within a couple of hours. Left the areas all clean and tidy. Even the removal of the old timer and replacement of the combo timer/transformer was done clean, tested and works fine. The lights we ordered are heavy duty brass, led lights which last longer (bulbs) and more energy efficient. They look great and the entire HOA truly satisfied. These lights will still be here when most original homeowners from 26 years ago will be long gone.

As far as the price, Ike's labor price was very reasonable. I compared the hourly rates to other contractors we've used, and a they're lower in hourly charges. The final invoice was much lower than the original estimate. The cost of the light kit was more than the labor.

I would refer Ike's Electric to anyone requiring electrical work. Even HOA needs, whether common areas or personal inside properties. Check out Ike's website. Ike knows the business and works well with customers. Keep up the great work and business efforts and the family business will go an and continue to thrive. Ike's company is actually in SF's Mission, my area in SF. Supporting a local small business is good business for all. Especially a family business. Isaias (owner) came over to help with our recessed lighting that were humming loudly and driving me nuts. I am very impressed with his professionalism. Here are some of the reasons why working with Isaias was great:
(1) ease of booking appointments online and was able to get an appointment within a week;
(2) responsive to emails regarding bids, appointments, and proposed solution to the lighting problem;
(3) punctual! I had to take time off work for this appointment, so I am super appreciative for people who are punctual (I also had 2 appointments with him and he was punctual to both and took exactly the amount of time he said he would to fix the problem);
(4) worked quickly and efficiently;
(5) very friendly, courteous, and cleaned up after himself;
(6) patiently explained what he was doing and answered all my questions;
and the most important reason:
(7) He actually fixed the lighting problem (and for the quoted bid which was quite reasonable)!

I will definitely keep Isaias in mind for all future electrical issues and refer to all friends.

I have used Ike for two different small to medium sized jobs.  He communicates clearly via email and text messages and has very reasonable pricing.  He answered all my questions both before and during the work.  He knows most if not all of the electrical rules for SF.  Definitely will use again.

Ike's Electric has taken care of all our house electrical . . . . and they've gone above and beyond in making sure everything we need gets done quickly and reliably. Easy to make appointments, and yes, they arrive when scheduled.

These guys absolutely rock.  First, they were extremely responsive via email to my questions, having me take a couple of pics of the problem so they could be prepped for the visit. Ike showed up promptly for the appointment and -- within a few minutes -- defined the real problem I was having and helped me reconcile it.  It only took a few minutes.  Then, noticing that I had my doorbell chime out to be installed (it had been there for weeks), he politely asked if I wanted him to do that since it still fell under the one-hour visit minimum.  He installed it, fixed an ADDITIONAL problem I had with my Ring doorbell, and then charged me only for the half hour.  On top of this, he sent me an email later to check how things were going.  SUPERB service and extremely thoughtful.  There's a reason why their ratings are consistently five-star.

WIth such high reviews on Yelp, we called Ike's Electric because we needed a reliable electrician in SF to tend to a bathroom light that was not working in our home, which is rented out.  We could not be there for the repair and were not reachable by phone at the time of the repair, so we authorized Ike's Electric to make repairs as needed up to $250.  (Spoiler alert: Big Mistake!)

Our tenant told us that the electrician who came out was there for only 10 minutes and fixed the problem simply by replacing a switch.  So far, great.  The electrician also told our tenant that it would cost just $95 (the minimum charge for a service call) plus the cost of the switch.  Even better.

Then, the next day we received an invoice from Ike's Electric -- for $250!!!  

We called him up, and told him what our tenant had reported to us -- a 10 minute visit, for $95 plus the cost of the switch.  Ike said the $250 charge was because of travel time -- even though our house is 15 minutes away from Ike's Electric (per Google Maps).   Ike kept pushing this excuse until we told him flat-out that we are not paying $250 for a 10-minute job to replace a light switch.  Ike finally backed down and sent us an invoice for $130.    

Lesson:  Do not pre-authorize any repair amounts for Ike's Electric -- or else expect to get charged every dollar of what you authorize.

I simply cannot say enough good things about Ike's.  Owner Isaias has been a tremendous help in fixing various lighting issues in house, and also installing a Level 2 charger. He is the picture of professionalism, plus a great guy. If you need an electrician, you'll be lucky to have their help.  Thank you, Isaias!

I've been meaning to give Ike's a stellar review for months now.

When the bathroom lights in my apartment decided to turn on and off  without my assistance (nothing like showering in the dark), I called Ike and his team. They quickly identified the problem: heat-activated light switches and steamy bathrooms don't mix. Obvious to most, but apparently not clear to the previous resident. Ike installed a new light switch and the problem resolved.

More recently I called Ike's because the lamps in my front hall were flickering. Once again, Ike's quickly identified the problem: I was using energy efficient light bulbs with a dimmer switch. Apparently this is a no-no. The electrician laughed, pushed the dimmer to the max, the lights came on, and the flickering was gone.  When I asked  how much? He replied, Don't worry about it.'' and was out the door.

I love these guys.

Used Ike's in 2012, 2013. 2014, 2015 and again in 2016 and I cannot say enough great things about this company and it's employees.  Good work, quickly available, reasonable rates!  Thanks guys for all the jobs well done!

We had Ike come out to replace two outlets in our kitchen and then he fixed our under cabinet lighting (which we didn't care about) for just the cost of parts.  Prompt, courteous, professional and great communication.  We chose Ike's because of all the other great reviews he has on Nextdoor and Yelp and couldn't be happier.

I'm about a year and a half late in writing this review.  What can I say;  it's been a hectic 18 months....

Isaias and Co. completed a handful of projects for us at 2 properties in the Mission/Castro/Noe area.  The crew installed exterior lighting, including some long conduit runs and fixtures, tied up some old knob and tube and installed several interior fixtures.  They did some other odds and ends as well, but I can't remember exactly what.  I'm thinking of having them bid on some electrical panel work, as well.  I'm sure they would have no problem with that, either.

In short, Isaias and Co. did their work quickly, efficiently, CORRECTLY and at an affordable price.  I have nothing negative to say about any of them.  They're very good electricians,  and I recommend them without reservation.

What a great professional experience! Isaias communicates like a champ, does the job perfectly and reasonably, and is a tremendous problem solver too (so it actually worked out better than i'd envisioned.) In my experience as a non-handyman, Ike's sets the standard for good service.

These guys are my new go to electricians. I was able to schedule a free estimate online. The electrician showed up within the 60 minute window and gave me a quick, clear estimate. Even better, he was able to come back with the necessary parts that afternoon to do the work. Everything was done perfectly and communication+cost were great.

Had Ike's Electric come and take a look at all our numerous electrical issues at our Barbershop. They found that with the building we occupied... had done a horrendous job with their electrical wiring, placement and all around electrical work. Ike has been doing electric work for me and my clients for over 10 years. I've relied on Ike's to do everything from installation of electric for a full-floor addition to my home, installation of light fixtures in an old Victorian with still-live gas pipes in my ceiling, and even just to add a new circuit or two for computers/audio video equipment.

In the past few years his son, Isaiah has taken over the business and added some convenient features like online booking and Square payment.

Ike is my favorite electrician by far and I'll continue to refer him and Isaiah to all my friends and clients.

He was actually able to show up early, was very friendly, and while he was able to install the switch, actually recommended a different model which wouldn't require running a neutral and I'd be able to install myself, all as a complimentary consultation. Really impressed with Ike's as this is the second time we've used them, and the experience is simply outstanding.

I asked the electrician who came to my house about different adjustments I wanted in my electrical outlets. He was negative about everything, telling me that nothing was possible!

I was looking to fix a broken bathroom exhaust fan.

Monday - emailed Ike's Electric using their site.  Ike called me back the next day - asked me a few questions and quoted a $300 repair (he said the motor & bearings probably needed replacing).  Said he was available the next day to to the work.  I told him that I'd get back to him.

Weds late afternoon - I call and leave a message asking if he can fix it the next day.  He calls me back and tells me he'll be at my place Thursday at 10 am.

Ike showed up a few minutes after 10 am and quickly took the old motor out.  And went out to get a replacement.  Calls me back in about an hour saying he has the new part and can come back and install it (and a new cover).

Checks to make sure the proper voltage is getting to the unit and finishes installing the new fan.

Total time in my loft:  approx. 40 mins across 2 visits.

Total cost of the repair:  $90 parts + $140 labor = $230.

Now that I've seen the unit and how easy it is to take it out, next time the motor craps out, I'll probably take it out myself and find a retailer for the new motor.

But Ike was a professional, courteous and informative throughout the entire process.

They called me straight away to set up a time to give me a free estimate, they came by the next day and emailed me out the estimate the following day. He returned our call promptly and was there an hour later, quickly diagnosed the problem, corrected the wiring, and installed the lamp all within just about 45 minutes.  He was very professional and curteous and very reasonably priced.  I highly recommend him.

Ike's son came over the other day to estimate how much it would cost to install a security light above our garage and help figure out why our front porch light would no longer turn on.  With respect to the front porch light, I informed him that I had already checked the inner wiring and it seemed to be dead.  I feared that they would need to open up the wall to find the root cause of the problem.  Instead, Ike's first checked the light bulb!  Why I didn't think of that....well, I didn't.  Turns out it was the light bulb and that sometimes in the older houses the current at the switch appears dead if the bulb at the other end is no good.  I asked how much it would be and was told, no worries.   The service and helpfulness were very much appreciated.

Contacted Ike's about hanging a heavy chandelier in my house.  Isaias, co-oowner, contacted me very promptly, quickly scheduled an appointment for a very reasonable quote.  He called me the day of the appointment to see if he could come a little early to make sure he didn't need a second helper, which was super.  He did the job wonderfully, was extremely professional making sure the installation was perfect.  After he was gone I contacted him about possibly replacing a power cable on the chandelier-the cable is black and looks a little clunky against the rest of the fixture, Isaias is looking to source a suitable replacement. Easy e-payment, prompt communication and overall superlative service.  I highly recommend this local family owned business providing wonderful professional service.

This is the second time Isais brought his experience and expertise to fix a lighting problem. Just like the first time, he was able to quickly diagnose the problem.  I had a very old lighting fixture which Isaias disconnected and then took to his shop to repair. He texted me in a few days, came to my home, and reconnected the repaired fixture.  It was like new and I had lighting again. Isais responds right away to a request for an appointment.  He's always on time, he immediately diagnoses the problem, and fixes it.  I highly recommend Isais.  He is fabulous and he will be the electrician I call for future jobs.

I contracted with Ike in 2002 when I remodled the kitchen and bathrooms in a two unit building, and the work was professional and I have had no problems with the work.  Recently, his son Isaias has completed other projects for me, and he is a very professional and competent electrician.  I recommend both.

Isaias of Ike's Electric came to our building twice during the past two weeks. The first visit was to troubleshoot a wiring problem in one of the condominium units and to assess the scope of work required to add a light in a hallway of the condominium project. The second visit was to complete the work required to add the hallway light. Isaias arrived within the scheduled times on both days. He performed his work quickly, professionally and within the times estimated. I was very satisfied, and would not hesitate to use him again.

Use an electrician for a repair job once, and it's done properly----maybe it's luck.  Use an electrician for a repair job twice, and it's done properly-----you may be on to something.  But I have used Ike's for repair jobs in my building on about five occasions and it's always done to my satisfaction.  They know I know NOTHING about electrical systems and could sell me on virtually anything.  But, they have always done an accurate diagnosis, relayed the information to me along with cost, and completed the job in a timely manner.  And now with the option to pay online it's even more efficient.  Are there cheaper electricians out there?  Probably.  But in this case you definitely get what you pay for.  Next time I need a reliable electrician, I will call Ike's.

I highly recommend Ike's Electric (and Len).  They came out and installed a bathroom fan and medicine cabinate in my bathroom.  They did a quality job, worked fast and clean and were reasonably priced.   Ike also recommended a guy for the sheetrock patching - Fausto Zarate - who also did a very professional job.

We would definitely recommend Ike's Electric.  After buying our home in the city, we knew we needed electrical work done.  Isaias came out and provided a written estimate with various options to allow us to choose what we'd like to do now and potentially save for the future.  We decided to have a new electrical panel and service upgrade done and rewiring and grounding of electrical plugs.  They began quickly and did a great job.  Len and Emilio arrived on-time each day, always let me know when power needed to be turned off to make sure it was convenient, kept us up-to-date on their progress, and cleaned up before they left each day.  And they even took the time to install a new thermostat for us (which was not part of our original project scope).  We love having our wiring up to code and safe and they did an awesome job!  We will definitely be calling them anytime we need anything electrical done.
