We had a great experience with PureTec last week. We were referred to them and Darren was a pleasure to work with- I appreciated his prompt arrival and response, thorough descriptions, and low pressure approach. I ended up learning quite a bit during our quick interactions. I would absolutely use their services if we encounter any future water damage at our house.

Phoenix Flood is the best remediation company I have used. They are very unique in several ways. Unlike most remediation companies they are not trying to get a big insurance claim. Ryan comes in and assesses the situation and has recommended not making an insurance claim when it doesn't cost too much to just solve the problem and make the repairs. They also do a very good job of providing options and educating you on what makes since to do. I truly wish I had come across his company sooner.

In an industry where there are many fly by night companies and companies that believe anybody can do this, it is great to have an established professional company to go to. Zach and his team at ACR are experienced and knowledgeable. They are professional and compassionate. They respond quickly and work well with the insurance companies. Nobody wants to use a restoration company. When your life is turned upside down, it is great to know that there is a company that you can trust and lean on. I strongly recommend ACR to any homeowner or business owner that needs a quick professional response.

Ripoff artists. Told us 5 days, and now 3 days later, they're just going to start doing with asbestos. They keep saying the insurance company will pay for it. How do they know what coverages we have? Hate this company! Verbally told us that they won't damage any our cabinets. But as I read the contract,it says that they are not responsible for any damage to anything. Hate this company.

I recently had water staining in a few of my great room areas and called several roofers. 3 roofers did not want to even deal with my roof due to my solar panels and recommended that I call separate electricians. My neighbor was happy with his recent reroof by Geo Roofing so I gave them a call. Letty, office manager, could not have been nicer. She told me that the owner, Marshall, could go by my house within a day and assess the situation. Marshall responded and gave me 3 options: quick repair (temporary), a 1/2 reroof, and a full reroof. Geo apparently has electricians they use to facilitate the solar deinstallation and reinstallation. I opted for the 1/2 reroof and within a week the job was complete. The solar panels had required laborious forms and solar company approvals and Geo took care of it all. Their work and follow through was excellent. I cannot stress how efficient they are in the coordination of many moving parts and workers.

We noticed water damage from the upstairs into our kitchen/dining area. It seemed quite severe. Our homeowners insurance recommended these guys and I am so glad they did! Their work was fast- I mean only a few hours! They were extremely respectful of our home and worked efficiently and timely! And Leonard helped identify where the leak originated so it expedited the plumber's job as well as let us get a bit of normalcy back in our everyday lives. Everything the team did was explained in detail by Leonard (Lead, Van #7) and I felt like they really cared about attention to detail, logicality, and respect for the home and all living occupants. I cannot recommend them enough! Thank you Leonard, Joe, and Thomas!

Do not choose this company for your restoration. Traveler's Insurance suggested them or Service Master. I chose this company thinking I was supporting a local business. To make this review short, I will just say they are bad about returning calls and showing up when they say they will. The contractors that they send over are not good and didn't even have the proper equipment to do the job, so they would leave and not come back. Eventually, with Travelers help we got the job got completed. Now, the work they did is falling apart and Traveler's adjustor came out and said, that it looks like they used poor quality material. Stratton was supposed to get with us to fix it, but we have never heard from them. I am done with this company and please choose another company to do any of your repair work.

DryStar subs out their work, do not be fooled, the only work they did was the initial water mitigation due to a leaking hot water heater. I honestly believe this company was going to take the insurance adjuster for as much as they could. The adjuster was taking their word for things from pictures and written requests for more work that needed to be completed to return the house back to its original condition. And after all of the additional requests, I know they failed to do certain aspects and question how much of their request had to actually be done. But, I was trusting them as the experts. Upon completion of the subcontractor finishing the repair work, I notified DryStar that the work and house was not returned to its original condition. I was asked why I hadn't coordinated this with their subcontractor. I kindly reminded DryStar that it was their subcontractor, and they were responsible for their sub's work. DryStar was very reluctant in providing compensation for the additional work I'd have to do to clean up the house after their sub made the mess. They tried to tell me they had hardly any overhead or profit charges due to the project being small, I'm sorry, but DryStar making profit or covering overhead was and should not be a concern of their customer. We agreed to an amount and when a final invoice was requested, they couldn't even send a correct invoice with the agreed upon final amount.
For a company who claims to be customer orientated and not looking to take advantage of people, you could have fooled me.

Damaged my oak cabinets and teplaced oak panels with plywood. Cut shelves after I told them not to. Treated me with extreme disrespect. They knew I had just lost my husband and they took advantage of the situation. Charged for work they had not done. I refused to have them in my home to finish the job as they did more damage than good. I had to raise concerns to the insurance adjuster's manager to get honest, reputable people to fix their damages. I would NEVER recommend them to anyone.
As for John's comment about physical abuse, it's totally absurd, but exactly what I would expect from Silver City Restoration.

Called the company to get a quote/estimated for the recent storm damage in our property. Ramon and Jeremy are two very nice and knowledgeable gentlemen who seem very committed. They even came back days after to pour water over the roof of the house to pin point where the leak was coming from in which they absolutely did. Now came estimate proposal to my insurance, they did not follow through. Ramon said that it will be there but it's three weeks later, no proposal. They don't even answer my calls and texts. I am now dealing with another company.

This has been smoldering with me for a number of months. This was a disaster. Craig came out and talked big on how they were called out to fix Coit failures on travertine floors and told me how he would be able to fill cracks and pop outs as if they were not there. He would use top of the line products and our floors would look very nice. He quoted me a price that was what seemed a little high however ensured excellent quality work. Included in the price was furniture moving. When he came out he showed up alone (said his crews were on other jobs) and I had to leave work to help him move furniture. He then cleaned and stripped the floors. When I went back to work he was short with my wife when she asked about filling the cracks and pop outs. He stated he had not planned having to take care of all of the pop outs. He then proceeded to use sanded caulk grout for filling the imperfections instead of travertine filler. He made a mess on the floors with the caulk and did not clean the excess up. Needless to say the filling was horrible. Then he applied a sealer which he apparently was not familiar with and made a tacky mess of my floors. It took 8 days for my floors to dry and by that time they were a dirty mess from dust blowing in. I contacted him to come back out and clean the floors and he was very short and upset. He did come back out and did a light strip on the floors (again I had to help move furniture), which helped some but far from the result he promised. When he left after the re-clean he never even asked if we were satisfied and just disappeared. What even makes it worse is he stated We should have ground the floors and redid them which would have only been about $1000 more than the $1900 for the clean and seal however he initially told me it would be several thousand more to grind the floors. Also he apparently forgot what he charged me for the original job, $2250. This guy was a joke. I did call another company and they stated the could come out and fix his work for about $750. I guess I have learned an expensive lesson and everyone needs to watch out for this guy....
