PureTec Restoration Damage Restoration
My water heater blew Monday morning.  My insurance agent recommended Darrin at Purtec as she said he wouldn't charge me for more than I needed as so many other water restoration companies do.  Darrin was out within the hour and complemented me on getting the water turned off as soon as I did-he contained the area in plastic and ran fans-his men came out the next day to check and said it needed another day.  They came out this morning and tested and everything was completely dry.  They took away all the plastic and fans and cleaned up after themselves beautifully!  I couldn't be happier with Darrin and his crew!

Phoenix Flood Damage Restoration
I have known Ryan for years. As an insurance advisor I have sent him clients for a long time. My clients are always happy when Phoenix Flood was able to keep the claim low and off the insurance companies records. Ryan helped my clients with water damage resulting from lots of issues including dripping sinks, leaking showers, broken pipes, and so many more issues.
Ryan saved my clients thousands and thousands of dollars in premium by not turning in claims. He helped keep me profitable on those small losses.

I have sent clients all through out the valley including Mesa, Scottsdale, Phoenix, and Tempe to Ryan. His team does a great job with any kind of water loss!

SERVPRO of Casa Grande Damage Restoration
We had water damage in our home, called SERVPRO & they responded quickly, moved furniture/appliances, removed the water, set up fans to dry.  They came back twice a day to check progress.  Employees were efficient, very respectful & went above & beyond.  We highly recommend this company!

Quick Restore Damage Restoration
The company was great when I needed to have my soaked carpeting removed, walls dried out, walls cut out.  When it came to coming to an agreement with my insurance company, the gentleman handling my case left the company, and nothing happened.  I was sitting in a total mess for nearly 2 months.    I was so disappointed, as Quick Restore came highly recommended to me by a reputable plumber in my neighborhood.  My insurance recommended another company in Glendale whom they have worked with with excellent results.

Geo Roofing Damage Restoration
I hired Geo Roofing to seal several penetration points after a new HVAC unit was installed on my foam flat roof.  The technicians showed up ill prepared and without sufficient material to do the job correctly. I expressed my concerns with a supervisor and they were ignored.  I told the Geo Roofing team that their work was not sufficient to prevent leaking on the roof.  Sure enough rain started approximately 8 hours after completion and my roof is leaking in multiple locations.  They actually made the situation worse by creating low points around all of the penetration points in the roof because they didn't use enough foam.  I now have water damage throughout the house and beautiful wood floors are now damaged. I would give them no stars.

Stratton Restoration Damage Restoration
My insurance gave me their info so I thought they'd be reliable. I called them to set appointment  but the receptionist gave me the project manager's phone number to schedule directly with him (why have a receptionist?). I scheduled for a Tuesday and took off work early to meet with Shane at 2pm. No show by 2:30 so I called the official and Shane.
According to everyone there was a schedule mix up so they rescheduled me. Great! Met with Shawn and meeting went well. He even noticed I don't have a temporary sink installed and apologized as his guys should've noticed and I should have a sink by now. I agreed. He said he'd get back to me in the next two days.
I haven't hear back from him or the office and it has been 7 working days since the estimator came to measure and take pictures. I left a message in regards to that sink but no one called back.
I simply don't understand the work ethic here. Don't you want work/money? And if you're too busy then don't take on new projects. Please don't just leave ppl waiting. I wish I had had the opportunity to wOrk with them but I am simply moving on to another company.

Drystar Restoration Damage Restoration
I will let the photos of our new kitchen installation on day one speak for themselves.  I fired them.

Update - 7/1/21

Richard,

You conveniently left out the most relevant parts.

The stand alone cabinet you bought in the photo below, is to replace the cabinet and door your company lost.  Not only that, but the cabinet you bought is not in the quote, not in the scope agreed to match my cabinets, not part of your cited line items (doors not included), and was not agreed to by me.  I am not paying for your companies mistake of loosing my door.  If you want to make charges fair - pay me for the lost door.

After I fired your company, I did finally agree to pay for all materials within scope.  That cabinet is not in scope and is me paying for your company loosing my cabinet door.  Your company refused to remove the cabinet from the materials.

The other half you left off - the opening threat was made by your company.  I was told in the 2nd sentence on the phone, if I did not pay your full material costs you would take me to collections - which is a threat against my credit.  As you stated -  I don't do business by extortion.

My response to that immediate threat was; if you are going to make me pay for all your materials, take me to collections and impact my credit, that means you stand by your work.  If you stand by your work and take me to collections, I will be happy to post photos of your work.

I said repeatedly in writing and over the phone, I will pay for materials in scope and that excludes the cabinet you bought to replace what you lost.

I didn't post anything until you sent me to collections over this cabinet.  The opening salvo of threats was by Drystar to me, not the other way around.

This is your company's work day one.  I wasn't going to get further in the project which now included the granite top your company broke.

Silver City Restoration Damage Restoration
Posting for a friend who doesn't have social media (I personally haven't done any business with Silver City).  It's been a nightmare dealing with Silver City.  They were assigned by USAA to restore his house after the July monsoon flooding.  SC came out early in August and tested ceiling for asbestos, and even removed the popcorn ceiling, exposing the interior roof.  About a month later, they came back to test the flooring for asbestos (why couldn't SC test the floor and ceiling at the same time?) and removed some of the damaged carpet.  It's now October, and my friend called and left several messages and never heard back, so he drove to visit SC's office personally to complain about about why there's no communication from them.  My friend was told SC will reassign his case to a different project mgr.  Finally around Thanksgiving, my friend gets a call giving him a move out date to a nearby hotel so SC could work on his house, and was told the repairs would be done around the first week of January.  SC packed up his house and moved the rest of his personal possessions into a huge storage unit located on his driveway, removed the old carpet, scraped  and removed the asbestos laden popcorn ceiling off and covered the exposed area with plastic, and put plastic around his big screen tv and refrigerator, and removed the oven and dishwasher and moved it into his garage, as well as took out his toilets.

In December, my friend is spending the holidays staying at a nearby hotel.  But no work is being performed on his house.  Maybe because it's the holidays, SC decided to take the holidays off.  Shortly after the new year, SC finally calls my friend after not communicating with him since he moved to the hotel, to tell him he'll call him in a few days w/ an update.  A few days goes by but SC never called him back.  Just last Thursday the adjustor from USAA called my friend to ask his permission to fire SC because apparently USAA tried to reach out to SC several times also and left several messages, and SC didn't return USAA's calls either.  So USAA said they're done dealing with SC and assigned a new restoration company to fix his house.  And now my friend has to start the wait all over again.  The USAA adjustor is well aware that my friend has been living in a hotel since Thanksgiving weekend and couldn't be more apologetic for all the delays and no communication and (almost) no work done by SC.  I just hope SC doesn't keep my friends possessions they put in the storage unit hostage.

Read the Yelp reviews here.  I notice many positive reviews are at least a couple years ago, so the quality of their customer service has declined during the pandemic.  Sure, there are supply chain issues now, however SC's problem is their lack of communication to the customer AND TO USAA.  Why USAA still continues to assign SC to their members in spite of the negative reviews here is beyond me.  If your insurance company assigns Silver City to be your restoration company, you may want to pass and either ask for a different company, or if you do your research, you may find another company that has better reviews and doesn't blow off their customers.  USAA originally trusted SC to repair my friend's house, and then fired them. That should tell you something about the integrity of SC.

Epic solution services Damage Restoration
Called the company to get a quote/estimated for the recent storm damage in our property. Ramon and Jeremy are two very nice and knowledgeable gentlemen who seem very committed. They even came back days after to pour water over the roof of the house to pin point where the leak was coming from in which they absolutely did. Now came estimate proposal to my insurance, they did not follow through. Ramon said that it will be there but it's three weeks later, no proposal. They don't even answer my calls and texts. I am now dealing with another company.

CMS Cleaning Damage Restoration
This has been smoldering with me for a number of months. This was a disaster. Craig came out and talked big on how they were called out to fix Coit failures on travertine floors and told me how he would be able to fill cracks and pop outs as if they were not there. He would use top of the line products and our floors would look very nice. He quoted me a price that was what seemed a little high however ensured excellent quality work. Included in the price was furniture moving. When he came out he showed up alone (said his crews were on other jobs) and I had to leave work to help him move furniture. He then cleaned and stripped the floors. When I went back to work he was short with my wife when she asked about filling the cracks and pop outs. He stated he had not planned having to take care of all of the pop outs. He then proceeded to use sanded caulk grout for filling the imperfections instead of travertine filler. He made a mess on the floors with the caulk and did not clean the excess up. Needless to say the filling was horrible. Then he applied a sealer which he apparently was not familiar with and made a tacky mess of my floors. It took 8 days for my floors to dry and by that time they were a dirty mess from dust blowing in.  I contacted him to come back out and clean the floors and he was very short and upset. He did come back out and did a light strip on the floors (again I had to help move furniture), which helped some but far from the result he promised. When he left after the re-clean he never even asked if we were satisfied and just disappeared. What even makes it worse is he stated We should have ground the floors and redid them which would have only been about $1000 more than the $1900 for the clean and seal however he initially told me it would be several thousand more to grind the floors. Also he apparently forgot what he charged me for the original job, $2250. This guy was a joke. I did call another company and they stated the could come out and fix his work for about $750. I guess I have learned an expensive lesson and everyone needs to watch out for this guy....
