Last year a hose blew off my neighbor's toilet and sprayed water all through her house the Saturday before Labor Day. We have patio homes that share a common wall so some of the water leaked into our garage and my closet and bedroom. The water damage was sooo much worse at my neighbor's. I called PureTec and Darren was at our location in the west valley in under an hour. Fortunately the damage on my side was minimal. He pulled back the carpet and got a fan going until his team could get there and pull up the padding, etc. They had us back to normal in a few days. It was watching Darren helping my neighbor that was truly amazing. He calmed her down and sat with her at our kitchen table and patiently talked her through the entire process that was about to happen, and he helped her collect what she needed to spend the night with family. He worked diligently with her homeowner's insurance to ensure that the extraction and drying was covered, and I can't even remember how many times he came by to check on us, and our neighbor while she was working with the packing company to remove her belongings to storage while the restoration work was being performed. If any of my friends even mention a water problem, I am ready with Darren's card. PureTec is a company that operates with integrity in an industry where many do not.

Ultimately, unimpressed. They get more than one star for how it started, but less than 5 for how it ended. We had water damage in our kitchen and the insurance company stripped it down. We contacted this company on a referral, and at first they were very responsive. Since we were rebuilding anyway, we told them that we wanted to get a new cabinetry configuration, and they promptly provided a brochure for new cabinetry. Once the insurance funds came through, we contacted them and asked about specifics, to ensure we knew what we were getting. While they provided some of the information requested (like ROC#), the best way I can describe the response is a civil huffy. They concluded with something to the effect of since you're changing the configuration, we can't do the work. If this were the case, why didn't they say that upfront instead of wasting our time? I didn't really believe this was the reason, given that they gave us the brochure up front. Instead, I have a sneaking suspicion the change of heart was because we asked about things like ROC# and bonding. In the long run, I guess they did us a favor. We went with a different company, are thoroughly satisfied, and I've rated that company well better.

This company used to be one of the best, but is under new management and has really taken a turn for the worse. Eight weeks after storm damage to my home, I still have no idea when work is expected to begin.
Three times I've been told that our project will be scheduled at the next meeting, but so far has not been scheduled. Three weeks have gone by since I've heard from my project manager, who doesn't answer my calls or texts. Twice I've been told someone will call me to discuss the project but never called. More than once I've arranged time to stay home from work to meet someone who was supposed to come start the work but never showed up.
Works stalls because someone forgot, or because they discover an issue they should have seen months ago. I understand that everyone is very understaffed right now, but this does not explain the total lack of professionalism or communication we've experienced.
I've never worked with a company with such a complete disregard for your time. I would never recommend ACR to anyone, and my insurance company will also no longer recommend this company to its customers.

We had water damage in our home, called SERVPRO & they responded quickly, moved furniture/appliances, removed the water, set up fans to dry. They came back twice a day to check progress. Employees were efficient, very respectful & went above & beyond. We highly recommend this company!

I hired Geo Roofing to seal several penetration points after a new HVAC unit was installed on my foam flat roof. The technicians showed up ill prepared and without sufficient material to do the job correctly. I expressed my concerns with a supervisor and they were ignored. I told the Geo Roofing team that their work was not sufficient to prevent leaking on the roof. Sure enough rain started approximately 8 hours after completion and my roof is leaking in multiple locations. They actually made the situation worse by creating low points around all of the penetration points in the roof because they didn't use enough foam. I now have water damage throughout the house and beautiful wood floors are now damaged. I would give them no stars.

After my 1 star review of Ecodry on yelp, I was contacted several times by the owner apologizing for not responding to my complaint with BBB requesting their assistance to obtain information on who hired them to perform emergency dry out and demolition at my home because during the process, their crew damaged more than 18 ceramic tiles on a 2 years old floor. The insurance carrier refused to pay for the damaged flooring because eco-dry was not sent by them. After more than 9 months trying to find our who sent them the work request, I had no option but to file a BBB complaint, since Eco dry never responded to them either, I gave them a bad review. That's when the owner called me and stated that the person who called them was a plumber from Choice Home Warranty!!!!-I was shook. In our home, we maintain homeowners insurance as well as a home warranty for a/c and appliances coverage if they fail due to wear and tear. Home Choice sent a skinny pete look alike plumber to cap the leaky pipe in the attic, however, he couldn't do much because there was no access to the attic----- from the master closet !!!!!, also, he said it was too hot in July for him to get through the attic. I paid him the $85.00 service fee and asked him to leave. Next day, Eco dry showed up to remove all the damaged drywall, baseboards etc- I allowed them access thinking my home insurance carrier sent them. It was after I reported the floor damage, that we learned they never sent a work order to them and calls to their office requesting information were unansweared.
I will be contacting management at Home Choice Warranty because this system of underground referrals is not right! My insurance declined coverage for the floor damage costing us more than $1800 to no fault of our own. This underground network of referrals to this company should be investigated and stop immediately.

had the best experience with Stratton Restoration. They had no problem with my mother and I discussing updating a few things since we had to restore the house. If they didn't feel it would work either Wes or Gabriel would let us know why and help us with other options. In the end the house turned out beautiful and my mother feels she has made new friends.she loved speaking with Gabriel. He's very knowledgeable in his craft and will take the time to explain to you what, why and how about the rebuilding aspect of what he is doing. Sometimes that's helpful to know and understand why it has to be done in a certain way. One thing Gabriel taught me is restoration is so different from original construction; in that you creativity comes into play when putting a place back together. I would highly recommend this company for any and all your restoration needs!

It started off with having a new sink put in and the person from Lowe's recommended DryStar. DryStar came immediately and explain how they would dry my kitchen under the sink out and then give me a whole new kitchen without having to pay a cent. He was one smooth talker. Called my insurance and explain what DryStar was going to do for me. My insurance lady said that she would prefer to work with her people. So from then on my kitchen was tore up couldn't use it they put in a plastic sink in there for me. And then I waited for it to dry. Then they came out tour of the kitchen put it all in the backyard. And would clean it up after it was all finished so I put the wood pieces into our garage so they wouldn't get ruined. So Time pass by and then they came out and we put the kitchen semi back together with that plastic sink then they were waiting for the countertop person to come out in the meantime they gave me a bill for the amount for the restoration now I have received money from my insurance company a good faith money and I knew I had $1000 deductible. So I paid them right away so it wasn't in my bank and I wouldn't spend it since I'm A fixed income. And thought I was a bit done paying for it I had asked if I was done paying for it they said yes then about a couple weeks later I get this phone call stating that they were the accountants and lawyers for DryStar and I owe them another $3700 to dry out the sink so now I'm in the hall for $3788.88 that was nothing I knew was coming. This company really worked me over. My advice is go with your Insurance company.

Silver City (SC) was recommended by USAA and so I hired them to assess and repair damage from a possible roof leak in my guest house as the paint on my wall had started to ripple. The estimator from USAA bid the job to remove most of one wall from ceiling to floor board so that we could determine the source of the leak with the understanding that once the inner wall was opened we could determine what would need to be repaired. The gentleman from silver city was very nice but came and cut out a 6'x4' section of the wall where damage was evident and was about to start replacing it when I asked him where the leak had originated from. He said he had no idea...that he wasn't there to figure that out. I informed him that he was and called SC who said they didn't know what I was talking about so then I called USAA and the next thing I knew they called SC and the gentleman cut a huge area out as he was supposed to initially and told me that there was damage to the wood by the ceiling. I called USAA and let them know and silver city sent an estimator who didn't even get up on a ladder but just looked at the area (ceilings are 14high). The next thing they set up was that someone came to treat for mold. I asked if anyone was going to assess the wood and the mold treatment guy told me he didn't do that and wasn't there to figure that out. I called USAA again and they stopped the job and had a structural engineer come to the house and assess the situation. Needless to say, there is extensive damage that needs to be repaired and the wood in question was still wet and should never have been treated with anything but rather repaired. SC was only going to put a bandaid on the issue and cover it up rather than fix it. USAA withdrew the bid from them, they were paid for removal of sheet rock only and a different contractor was hired. In addition, they left a window open in the room and left a bunch of construction supplies in my yard.
buyer beware! If I hadn't been home and followed up on what they were doing I would never have known the amount of damage that was about to be covered up.

Called the company to get a quote/estimated for the recent storm damage in our property. Ramon and Jeremy are two very nice and knowledgeable gentlemen who seem very committed. They even came back days after to pour water over the roof of the house to pin point where the leak was coming from in which they absolutely did. Now came estimate proposal to my insurance, they did not follow through. Ramon said that it will be there but it's three weeks later, no proposal. They don't even answer my calls and texts. I am now dealing with another company.

I had the folks from CMS come out to clean my travertine floor. What a great job. I never knew how beautiful my tile could look. They were fast and efficient and very polite. I am having them come back to seal my pavers next week. Very reasonable prices.
