This is the second opportunity I've had to review Green Planet and I couldn't be happier to post this.  These guys have been great.  I'm going through a remodel of my home and these guys came out on a Saturday to replace my water main.  They just finished up with a complete re-pipe of my house to get rid of the old galvanized pipes.  The service level has been great - I know that they've been busy, but they were able to work my project into the schedule and I have clean water flowing with great pressure now!  I have referred these guys to other people in my neighborhood and network, and they have all been pleased.

I'll recommend them again and I'll have them back to work here when my kitchen gets done later this year.  The price was beyond fair for the job that they did, in my opinion.

-- Underground pipe leak. September of last year one of my main pipes sprang a leak which manifested on my water bill as a 600% increase in usage. In the course of about a week Jeff was able to assess the situation, advise a solution, handle the city regulations as well as locate, dig and replace the damaged pipe, and correctly feed it into the garage(something that the original owner poorly set up). The cost was reasonable, and the new pipes he installed offered years of maintenance-free operation.

-- Household leaks. Jeff fixed a toilet leak and sink faucet replacement that I try to do on my own, but was left half completed for nearly a year. He correctly handled it in about half an hour, and reassured me that my dabbling didn't cause any notable damage.

The work on both occasions was excellent. The meticulouslessness and care that goes into the actual work, comes through in conversation. Jeff walked me through the options available in a straight forward and easy to follow manner where I felt informed and educated about the calls I would make. I recommend Stellar Plumbing without reservation to handle your complete plumbing needs.

Replaced all 6 of our bathroom sink valves. There were plastic, cheapo, and dripping. Done in 40 minutes. Wonderful, friendly plumber. Had a long waiting list (3 weeks for me) but I guess that's a testament to demand + quality :)

I can't believe how helpful they were.  I found them on Yelp when my bathtub started dripping.  I called asking him to come out but instead he told me which part was most like the issue and instructed me on how to get a replacement and replace it myself.  Sure enough he was right about what was causing it and its fixed.

I've asked Bill to come over around 5 or 6 times and he also worked for a friend of mine. Always on time, figures out what needs to be done on existing construction (replacing a kitchen faucet today), works fast, keeps things clean, and never a need to call back. Never has needed to go fetch a part because his truck is completely stocked and organized. Very reasonable price (I pay before he leaves the house). It doesn't get any better.

Ben is excellent.  He approached a problem I was having with my toilet very systematically and was able to justify each step and action by explaining the process and demonstrating what he was talking about.  At every moment I felt I was making well informed choices.  Ben took his shoes off at the door!  Ben worked carefully and thoroughly.  I was prepared for a more extensive bit of work but, he started with the cheapest place first and worked towards the next more expensive bit.  In all I paid less than I feared it would cost and it is working better than it has in years.   Whitelaw Plumbing is now my plumber of choice.  I will call them again with great confidence.  Thanks Ben.  I wish more people had your standards.

Why'd they get 2 stars? No-cost, no-obligation in-person guaranteed price, provided quickly despite being near the holiday.

Why didn't they get the other three stars? Because that guarantee was *over three times* the next company's price. $360 to replace a couple angle stops underneath a bathroom sink (a project which takes less than thirty minutes) is shockingly absurd.

I'm afraid I just don't see the point in utilizing their nice quoting process, when their prices are ridiculously uncompetitive. In the end, I went with Button Plumbing, who charged a realistic fee, and fixed my leaking bathtub drain and showed me how to fix leaks in my toilet and faucet at no extra cost.

We had a gas leak in our house and despite being extremely busy, Dave came out and fix our leak that morning!

Dirt Cheap gave a great and very comprehensive estimate and explained everything to me in great detail. I was really overwhelmed with a flooding issue at my rental, but they were amazing. The price was perfect, the work was done faster than expected. Oh, and their work crew was freaking amazing! Every single person on my job was super nice. It was cool to watch the project as it was being done and to see that the trenches went exactly where they explained they would be. Such a good experience!

I called them yesterday about a sticky bathroom faucet I had - they gave me a flat price to replace it and showed up right on time the very next day.  Guy was super nice and professional, checked out the sink and went right to work.  Cleaned up after he was done - everything is perfect.  Price was very fair, service was very fast, and I didn't have to clean up anything.

Erik D Plumber was highly recommended by some members of my CrossFit gym so I thought I would give them a call and compare their quotes to the other quotes I had received. They were very responsive and super easy to work with. Their quote was very reasonable and the plumber, Brian, who provided the quote is really friendly. We ended up choosing them to redo our shower valves as part of our shower remodel, fix the broken overflow and install a new waterline for our refrigerator - we can finally make ice!  I will definitely use them for future plumbing needs.

Called All Ways Rooter and they not only showed up early, Sam was a consummate professional. He diagnosed the issue with my kitchen sink quickly and had my garbage disposal reset and properly sealed in an hour or so. He advised me on ways to fix future issues myself and was pleasant to be around as well. If you are ever fortunate enough to get Sam as your tech, you won't be disappointed!

What a great experience!  We had a sewer issues and from the original phone call to the completion of the job they were friendly, knowledgeable, and professional!  I won't call anyone else!!!

I will start with, I will be using Layne Plumbing again for all my plumbing needs.  The start of my project originated with a Yelp request which Chrissy was super fast on the response!  She was able to give me a quote and scheduling was a breeze.  The day of the job, Layne Plumbing was super respectful of our our property and was able to complete the job (I had a shower valve replace) very quickly.  Needless to say I have several other plumbing jobs that I would prefer a professional to do and I will be reaching out to Layne Plumbing again for the task.

If you want to keep on waiting for them to show up, hire them! Good luck with that! Curious what their actual work will be like????

This organization is a fraudulent disgrace and should be investigated by consumer rights groups.    My 89 year old mother had a leaky bathroom faucet.   The Southwest plumber came with an associate.   He left to find a part, came back and said he couldn't get the part.   He removed a part from the second sink in the bathroom and installed it to the replace the leaky part.   The repair took approximately 15 minutes.  They charged her $1300 for a 15 minute repair job.     I attempted to get a refund, but they have been uncooperative and unresponsive.  

The idea that they would take advantage of an 89 year old woman is utterly disgraceful.    I strongly urge any of you thinking about hiring them to stay as far away as you possibly can.   Businesses like this should be shut down and criminally prosecuted, and I will do everything in my power to pursue this with consumer advocates, the Better Business Bureau, television watchdogs, and any and all organizations that can put a stop to these crooks.

I called to tell them I had a clogged kitchen sink and the receptionist said they would be out between noon and 2pm.  They arrived at 2-ish and Rick was the first person out.  He ran his big restaurant size snake twice and still couldn't get the line cleaned.  

I had to go to the vet and pick up puppies that had been their for dew claws removal.  I told them I'd be 20 mins at the most.  While I was there I got a call from their office to say they had to leave but they would send someone out later that afternoon.  I waited from 3pm until almost 8pm for someone to arrive.  

I called twice asking when they would be sending someone and was told as soon as the rep finished the job he was on they would be out.  Carlos is who came at almost 8pm and only had his small size snake.  He said he'd hit a hard spot and it wouldn't go any further so I was probably going to have to have a new line installed.  He said depending on the length of the line it could run anywhere from 2000.00 to 5000.00.  Holy Moly..!!! I'm a senior, husband retired and in the hospital and I don't have that kind of money.  

While he was packing up though he started running water and lo and behold we found he had loosened the clog and water was running... Thank the good Lord!!!  So far so good... I'm keeping my fingers crossed.  Cost to have them out was 420.00 including tax... they did give us a senior discount and a 59.00 discount and the 99.00 response charge was applied to the total of the invoice...

Would I use again... maybe.... but I'll be looking around more for reviews and pricing before I would even consider re-piping...

UPDATE:  AFTER A MESSAGE THEY LEFT FOR ME SAYING SORRY IT TOOK SO LONG BUT GLAD THEY GOT THE JOB DONE..... REALLY???

I've change my stars from 3 to 1 because of the fact that this company just doesn't get it..

Took from 2:30 in the afternoon until 9 pm that night.  They left in the middle of the job while I had to go pick up pups at the vet that had been there 6 hours and should have been picked up earlier... and then you sent another plumber out at 7:30 at night after I called two times wanting to know when he'd be there.  No, I don't consider that service, let alone good CUSTOMER SERVICE. And then, in going over my invoice I saw I was just given a flat rate for the service, not showing a break down for the services rendered.  Didn't show anywhere where the 99.00 trip charge was credited off the charges for getting the drain running, but the coupon and senior discount showed.  Then I was told if I went to Yelp and gave a good review they would give another 5% discount which they did, but I wasn't going to give a good review in light of the shoddy treatment of workers leaving with no notice and having to wait 5 almost 6 hours to wait for another to show up.  

Then when I had to call the NEXT day to have you come back out to tighten connections because they were leaking you said it would be another trip charge of 99.00.... REALLY??? You said that they were only out to unclog a drain, not stop a leak... They have to take the connections apart to get the snake down the drain... they had all my connections apart... they put it back together and now we had a leak.  NO, no trip charge... but better come out and fix what was broken.  They did but that again was at 7:30 at night when I'd called 7 hours prior...  Understanding I was dealing with a husband 7 days in the hospital, a new litter of pups with issues, a car that quit working after dealership had made a new key fob for it and had to go to the shop, and a whole bunch of stress going with a clogged drain and a kitchen torn up... and your company just added ten times more...

I won't be using your service again and suggest other should read the flaming negative reviews of your company, and operating practices. I'm surprised the Better Business Bureau and/or the Attorney General's Office hasn't been notified by now of your poor business practices.. But I believe it's just a matter of time...
