I am posting this review quite reluctantly,but Yelp has helped me avoid so many scammers and flakey people and businesses that I feel a huge obligation to pay forward all the good and bad in kind.
Green planet was contracted to replace the sewer main on my home recently. This was part of Bellevue city's homeowner improvement program, so the contractor choice had to meet very strict guidelines. Green planet  was not on even on their list, but they indulged us on our heavy recommendation for Tyler's business. Like most of his burned and deceived customers, we fell for his BS sales pitch and empty promises. Taking Tyler at his word, our only wish was them to leave our back yard and fence the same way they found it. Tyler assured us that this was the easiest request we could make and that he guaranteed it.
From the very start, the work appeared uncoordinated and as if it was the first time they ever did it. They appeared lost and confused many times, making mistakes along the way that caused many delays and took over twice the time. Then, the job was halted by a city inspector over a simple code issue involving a common fitting needed to connect to the sewer main. To top it off, Tyler complained to me about the f***ing city being picky. The cherry on top was Tyler confiding in me that he way under bid the job. His was the second highest out of 6 other bids!
So, after about a week of this one day job and a couple of my borrowed tools returned to me in damaged condition, it was time for them to go. They left my yard looking like a battle scene. The fence now needs repairs and I have a sinkhole in my yard giving my dog a chance to escape into an alleyway. It's been 5 months now and just yesterday a worker shows up, unannounced and expecting us to drop everything and once again allow them the chance to disappoint. True to form, a genuine but far inferior attempt was made and my yard is a muddy mess and my fence is far from adequately returned to as it was. With 4 months worth of all but completely ignored (by Tyler) phone calls, I give up. Tyler has to be the most belligerent, self destructive person in the customer service business. He makes no effort to hide his contempt of customers once he gets paid.  If you want a couple of messy, inept guys ruining your most prized possessions and doing everything their way, regardless what you want, then go ahead and hire this poser. Oh yeah,Tyler likes to be rude to my wife and attempted to bully me during his one returned phone call. Seems he gets everything wrong, but in his mind, it's always your fault.
AVOID at all costs or it will really cost you $$$.

Requested a quote on yelp and got a response within minutes of posting. Fast professional service during hours most other companies won't even answer the phone. Thanks Will

I hired Dave Sipila, owner of Maple Valley Plumbing to replace a 9 year old water heater in a condo I recently purchased.  He arrived at the scheduled time and provided excellent customer service along with doing a very professional installation of the water heater.  He also looked at my Dishwasher which I recently had an issue with.  I would definitely recommend Dave and Maple Valley Plumbing.

Jose and his son responded and arrived to our house in under 30 min to inspect a leak in our basement. They quickly determine the problem and had replaced the pipe. Jose was communicative and and thorough in his work. We will definitely be using Jose in the future for other plumbing projects.

I recently had a very negative experience with an unethical plumber. The next time I needed a plumber, I searched Yelp for Ethical Plumber. Who popped up first? Wezee's. I made an appointment and sure enough, they were true to their reputation. Zach came exactly on time, introduced himself and went to work. He had finished the job and cleaned up after himself in no time. The fee was consistent with plumbing prices in the area, but even if it were a bit more, I would hire them.

Mike and Tyler showed up on time, reviewed the project with me, and got to work immediately. I have my water shut off valve in a basement closet and it is an old twist knob that was about 7ft high.  I asked them to replace the shut off and install a quarter turn valve. I also asked them to lower it a couple feet so my wife can access the shut off without a stool. All work completed in under an hour, including removing drywall and cleaning up the area. Definitely will use Otter Plumbing again.

Had a great experience with this company today. We had a pipe break and was leaking 2gallons of water per minute costing us hundreds of dollars on our water bill. Everyone we called could not get us in for weeks. Ace Works found a way to help us out in our time of need! They sent Tom out to our house that day and within a few hours a new valve was installed and water could be restored to our house. The work was done professionally and when they left there was no sign that they were ever here. I highly recommend this business.

The tech that came out was very skillful and knowledgeable.  He was able to locate our problem in our sewer line, it was dug up and fixed in the same day.  Everything was cleaned up and working perfectly.  Great company with a very professional staff from start to finish.  I definitely recommend them!

I highly recommend Carter Plumbing & Heating! Had them come out to replace an old failing PRV and an old dripping water main shutoff valve in our basement. The owner Luke was very responsive to my messages (on Yelp). He quoted me a great price for the work and arrived when he said he would. Luke immediately got to work on it (masked and took his shoes off) and was probably finished with the job in under an hour. Our home's water pressure is back to normal again! Thanks Luke! We'll definitely use your company again for all our plumbing needs.

Todd is fantastic to work with and I highly recommend hiring him for any of your plumbing needs. He recently worked on a bathroom remodel for us where he moved the shower drain, the toilet, moved the shower head up several inches as well as several other things. Everything was absolutely perfect.

Then, not more than two weeks after the bathroom remodel, we discovered a leak under our sink. We called Todd and then next day he was able to come out and have it fixed in no time!

Not only is Todd an excellent plumber, he's also super nice and trustworthy. The next time we need plumbing work done, Todd will be the one we call!

They fixed the issue efficiently and left everything spotless. I highly recommend them!

Christo help me replacing the 50 gallon water heater. He was super fast to respond and very friendly. The work was done efficiently with high quality. The work area was also left spotless after everything was done. Highly recommended

They installed water heater in our house. The strap was not properly installed. I called them twice and they promised to come but never showed up.
Moreover, during the installation water pipes outside of our house, they drilled the base of our house and damaged our base board.
They hid it and did not let us know. Very unprofessional

I would just want to say, Thank you so much! We were having a serious water pressure issue, awhile ago our hot water heater hot hose got a pin hole in it and we didn't know until our besetment was complete flooded! As I tried to shut the water off, and get the hose replaced. When I turned everything back on I guess I didn't turn the valve far enough and had been living with bad water pressure ever scent's. So I got tired of it and I asked my son-in-law for a recommendation of a plumber he used a few weeks earlier, he gave me tech city's number. Made an appointment and today was the day... Can you even guess what it was, yeah yeah.. I didn't turn the valve all the way back on.. Feeling pretty stupid, They were so kind! Turned the valve and did some checking and didn't even charge me, Who dose that any more? Thank you guys, 5 star's and a hug to boot!!!

Another pin-hole leak in the ONLY original piece of copper piping not already replaced by West Sound Plumbing!  Thankfully, West Sound Plumbing had had the foresight to install isolation valves in our hot water system.  We isolated the leak and called West Side Plumbing.  Austin and the team were in full emergency mode.  They were getting seven calls an hour.  Pipes were freezing and breaking everywhere.  

The snow was six inches deep; the temperature outside was 22 degrees; the roads were treacherous; and the trucks at West Sound Plumbing were not equipped to drive the icy hills of Poulsbo and their greater service area.  

NO PROBLEM.  The guys at West Sound Plumbing jumped into their personal all-wheel-drive vehicles and started making emergency runs to their valued customers.  

They arrived this morning and had my leaking pipe fixed in a jiffy.  

Who does this kind of stuff anymore???

I bought a water heater from this company before, and the plumber was a very nice man and efficient. In last October, we damaged the shutoff valve in our garage. After a Robison plumber repaired the valve, he said I'll give you $100.00 off for a new frost free pipe, and I said OK.  He spent about five minutes to install the pipe. He then prepared an invoice in my kitchen, and the price of the pipe and its installation was $214.05 AFTER the $100.00 off. I didn't argue, because he was much larger than I was and meaner looking. I then checked The Lowes and found the exact pipe at $55.00 resale! After I complained to Robison by E-mail, Tom Bozeman offered me a $100.00 discount toward a future repair. (They can reduce the price by additional $100.00, if you complain, and still make enough profit.) For the obvious reason, I didn't want to hire Robison again. Instead, I wanted a $100.00 credit toward my credit account that they charged to. Eventually, I ended up in submitting a price dispute to my credit company, CITI. Robison claimed that I approved the pipe installation and signed the invoice in the garage prior to the installation, which was a lie. (I'll be more than happy to take a lie detector test at anytime.) Apparently, after a few months, my credit company didn't want to deal with Robison any more. So, CITI, not Robison, credited my account for $100.00 as a valued member reward. Although, Robison gave me a senior citizen discount, I'm sure they took advantage of me in this case of $55.00 pipe and its installation. Yes, I did receive a $100.00 credit from my credit company. I just wanted to warn the others, who may be thinking of hiring Robison Plumbing, that what they did to me may happen to them as well, especially if you are a senior citizen. I always communicate with E-mails to keep evidence. I was surprised how Tom Bozeman communicated with me comparing to the other customer representatives. It's very unfortunate when a business takes a chance of losing much valuable customer trust over some money. The plumber didn't clean the mess. I did.

The Mr Rooter team help us identify and fix a leak into our kitchen from an upstairs bathroom. Good professional team ! The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars, is that they are a bit pricey.

Allred plumbing is the best plumbing business in the area..
I used lots of plumbers in the past but Allred is the best.
I signed up for their service which is great..
They are competent reliable reasonable and very responsive to customers..

I contacted HomeAdvisor's.com for a plumber to replace an existing electric water heater for my brother, who is a challenged person. He is able to work and tries to maintain his home but has difficulty with personal contact with strangers. Hunts services came out and installed a replacement hot water heater, drip pan and expansion tank. They charged my brother, who would not challenge anyone on anything, nearly $2,400.00 for the installation I described, in a very easy accessible place. So a water heater, drip pan, expansion tank and 4 hours labor cost $2,400.00. If your looking to hire these guys, be sure you ask them the bottom line. Otherwise you'll end up with a bill like this. By the way, they charged him $348.00 for the expansion tank. The most expensive one I could find at Home Depot was $87.00. They charged him $135.00 for a drip pan. The most expensive one at Home Depot was about $50.00. Nuff Said?
