Here is another 5-star review. I had a problem with a laundry drain in the wall that had become rusted shut. I was impressed by the good communication with setting up the appointment and arriving on time. Once the wall was open, the situation become more complex. Nevertheless, the problem was fixed per the original quote and the area was left clean. High marks for integrity and good service.

EJ Plumbing is fantastic!  My family and I have been using them personally for years and I refer them to clients all of the time.  

Everyone that EJ sends out to varies properties has been respectful, punctual, and knowledgable.  They do great work and are worth every penny.  Stop wasting time with unreliable plumbers and work the EJ Plumbing.

After getting 5 estimates, I decided on Handy Plumbing Man for a number of reasons....Marco was a genuinely nice guy and made me very comfortable, he seemed very knowledgeable about all the things I needed done and he was willing to work with me on price.  He and his team fixed everything to perfection and did not leave until the place was spotless.  I highly recommend!!!

I recently purchased a new washing machine and dryer and was expecting it to be installed on the day of delivery.  Unfortunately, when the installers arrived they had difficulty removing one of the hoses due to heavy corrosion in the water valve.  The installers said we need to replace the old valves or risk having a tube burst unexpectedly.  Although I had a gut feeling the installers were BS'ing me, replacing the old valves (and hoses) did sound like a good idea.  So I sent a message to J&K plumbing asking if they could do this and within two seconds I received a response.  I explained the situation with a photo. The next day Joe was eager to come to my home with all the parts to do the job.  We now have shinny new valves and new hoses for the new washer and dryer.

Best plumber ever!   Marlon and assistant showed up to deal with shower problem..diagnosed issue, even got american standard to ship parts for free ...later determined some days later they were on huge back order so he picked up the parts elsewhere, charged cost no markup...came back and put the parts in got everything working, very reasonable flat rate (even with multiple visits needed), friendly chatty respectful of house (eg bootys over shoes, cleaned up etc)

I had a clogged toilet, called them and they were here within 10-15 minutes. Second time using SPS Plumbing.  Once again, outstanding service.  Booked an appointment to have them come out and take a look at our circ pump which we thought would need to be replaced at significant $$$.  Reuben arrived on time and promptly resolved the issue with the pump, no new unit required, yay!  We also wanted his consult on how to properly drain our water heater.  We ended up having him do it for us while showing us how to do it ourselves next time.  Reuben was very personable, knowledgeable and informative throughout the entire process.  Can't say enough good things in our experiences with this company.  They are genuinely committed in providing top notch service.

We had to replace old pipe that ran a very long span under pavement with new and larger diameter pipe. They did a fantastic job at tunneling under ground and tieing into the existing domestic system. No leaks at all and it was hard to tell they had even been here when they finished. Very responsive and easy to work with. Highly recommended!

Thank you 5 Star Plumbing for coming to the rescue when my shower got clogged! As a woman with long hair, it's inevitable for the drain to clog from time to time. I was having visitors come over and needed to have this situation fixed ASAP! I called 5 Star Plumbing and they gave me a reasonable quote and were able to come super fast! I used them in January for a faucet replacement. They did such a good job, when my washing machine drain pipe started to backup I called them again. This time Thomas did the work. He explained to me what he was doing and why. He did a great job and I highly recommend them.

Shane did an awesome job, i had a decorative outdoor faucet i needed installed; the set that was there had a long pipe and that needed to be re-done. Shane wanted to make sure it would look great not leak and be installed correctly. This meant he had to re-do the line coming from inside the garage and make a semi-custom fitting. He did it, priced it very fairly and did excellent work! I am only going to use Shane going forward for my plumbing needs.

Plumbing connection is our drain specialists they were puntual, clean, and fast. We had a problem 6 months later and the owner said it was under warranty still. Who would think a plumbing outfit would even say that, most just give you bill. I would refer them to anyone they were great to work with thats why 5 stars.

Contacted Mr. Bakhtiar Khan at about 9:30 pm. He advised me to have him come in the following morning at 10am. That would be materially lighter on my wallet. He came at exactly 10 am with his partner and got to work on the backed up toilet. He did the work outside and spent a fair amount of time explaining the key mechanical issues associated with the job. Few years ago I had spent a significant amount of money ( well over $5K) to bring in a plumber who opened the trenches but for some unknown reason ... the city and the plumbing contractor did not get the problem fixed. The Plumbing Connection advised me against spending this money and that it would be wiser to buy some time by doing annual cleaning. I think what was impressive was their honesty and the compassion and caring they showed in how they dealt with a situation. I would highly recommend Fremont Plumbing Connection.

Finally, what was also an amazing display of integrity was that before they left, Mr. Khan said he would fix the problem if it were to recur in a month or two and more importantly ... showed me how to mitigate the problem temporarily.

The Night of 1/30/2017
Last night my sewer line backed up. As my regular plumber does not work on Sunday.  I placed a call to Rooter Hero as they were the first plumber open and their ad was at the top of the list.

The dispatcher knew who I was because I was in their system because I had been a client in the past I said how so? When she told me who they were I should have hung up. I did not as the dispatcher went out of her way to convince me that not only the name has changed but that they now conducted business differently than before.

Long story short,  The technician named George this time, came out and attempted to snake the drain pipe. Exactly the same. Make a horrendous loud grinding sound under the floor boards.  He stood there for over half and hour and stated he could not get the snake through the pipe that there was an obstruction. We finally called the dispatcher and told her to call him to pack up and leave so we could get someone who would have some success.

1/2 hour after George from Mr. Rooter Left another plumber was able to quickly and quietly dislodge the obstruction and our sewer was once again draining.

The SCAM. I believe that Rooter Hero or Mr. Rooter will come out to your house and if you are elderly, a woman, or it is Sunday Night or other inconvenient time and your sewer is backed up, the technician will appear to snake the pipe allowing only a small amount of tether under the house and make a horrendous amount of noise. Then they will claim that your pipes are offset or they need to trench to upsell you for services you do not need.

As that has been my experience with them now twice. See Below.

I actually do not like to report negatively on YELP but the public must be warned about a potential scam

Supervisor Gabe was called to our property. He claimed he ran a snake through the line to clear it. When the line failed to clear, Gabe put a camera down the line and stated that the water was too murkey to see anything. He declared the pipe offset and used high pressure scare tactics on my rep to make him think he had no option but to pull a permit and displace our tenants and pay $3900.00 to replace the line and another $700.00 to fix the clean-out put in last year by super honest, reputable, and great plumbers  whose name I cant mention here. After Mr. Rooter left the property with the line still clogged my regular plumber was called. Randy  came out and cleared the line immediately and charged only $97.50 for the service. I asked my regular plumber.  if I would need to replace my line and I was told that some day I will need to replace the pipe to the street. But that wont be until the line starts backing up every few months something I will plan for.

Mr. Rooter refused to give me a refund for the $283.00 charged for the camera work.  I should not pay anything, as the original snake was either not done( fraud) or done incompetently. In addition, Gabe bad mouthed the previous plumbers  work in the clean out and was suggesting that I pay $700 to have the clean out turned up and out at a different angle. It only cost $400.00 to get it done last year.

snake the line,  fail to clear it, then scope and say that the pipe is offset. Then charge $4,000 to $16,000 (depending on how old or disabled a client is) to replace pipes.

In 2011 Mr. Rooter settled with the state contractors licensing board. They are currently on probation for the same activity until 2014you can look it up online.
