Always honest and reliable, for both plumbing and heating and air.
We have been a plumbing customer of this business for years, and they always do excellent, reasonably priced work. Recently our AC went out, and after dealing with another terrible company for over a week due to our home warranty, I remembered that EG plumbing does AC now, so I called them. We had a brand new condenser hooked up 2 days later for about the same price that my co pay would have been if I stayed in warranty hell with the other company for 2 more weeks.

Hot water went out on a Saturday... not good! Called Boden's and Tony and Max came out to save the day... wasn't an easy fix and also weekend but they went above and beyond to get the necessary parts and get it to work! Can't say enough about them and Boden's! Fair and quick response always!

Don from discount plumbing was not able to help me but pointed me into the right direction he seems like a very honest businessman. I would have no problem doing business with him.

I want to highly recommend Kyle of Koenig Plumbing for your plumbing needs. He responded right away to my concerns by text and came out to our rental right away. Kyle took one look at the plumbing and knew what needed to be done. He fixed a leak and clogged drain, changed out my kitchen sink faucet, installed a new garbage disposal and also connected my dishwasher which I never used because it never was connected to plumbing. He also checked our tub and other plumbing around the house. Very nice guy. Great advice and service.
I can't say enough about our great experience. I'm so happy that we found Kyle of Koenig Plumbing and all at a very reasonable cost.
Call him at (916) 550-3833

I am so Happy to find a plumbing Company I can depend on and trust. Not an easy task for various Businesses.
I called and was given an appointment. Chris showed on time as agreed. He was Professional and without asking he put on covers for his shoes. This is a big deal as we do not wear shoes in our Home. He went to our problem area and was able to diagnose the problem in minutes. You can be rest assured they will always get my call if needed. The best part to my knowledge they are the only company left that gives free estimates. Bravo!!!!!

We had an interior leak in our two story house over the holidays. There had been a previous leak in the same area caused by a freezing a/c coil in the attic, which ran down the plumbing lines into the first floor. This time, it appeared be a leak somewhere in the water or drain lines. John's detection equipment was out for repair, but he gave us some advice on how to isolate the leak, as well as a referral to a responsible, responsive plumber in our area. We were able to track it down quickly and get the plumber out to repair our copper piping. Really appreciate John's friendly, free advice and the referral.

Water leak in a very bad place in the attic. Joe came out (on a Saturday) I know, right! Quickly analyzed the needed repair, got to work and was finished in short order. As a retired contractor I appreciated his responsiveness with the right tools and materials to address the issue. To sweeten the deal, his pricing is reasonable. We will recommend him to all our friends (and we do this for very few contractors).

We just moved into our home and used the bathtub. The overflow didn't work and water leaked out downstairs onto the ceiling and floor, warping it. Whest Last was recommended and I was able to get a next day appointment. The plumber was on time and repaired the overflow as well as checked the drain showing me it also was loose. He was thorough and transparent. Further, he saw we were struggling with getting the Google Nest doorbell to work and he explained how to get it to work, which we did! If I ever need plumbing services again, they will be the first company I call.

I was having electrical problems and didn't know where I was going wrong installing a ceiling fan, I called Jay and he came right over! Diagnosed my issue and didn't charge us anything! Extremely knowledgeable and nice. We are so appreciative to have our ceiling fan working again!

Integrity, that's the word that describes Ron the PlumberMan. Ron is hands down the best plumber in Sacramento. Always prompt, courteous, knowledgeable, and honest.

WAY overpriced.
We recently bought a home and while in the process of renovating, we smelled gas. PG&E came out and determined that we have a gas leak, but couldn't tell us where. Rooter Hero sent out a technician to take a look.
The technician said we'd probably be best replacing the line, but when asked could not tell me an estimated cost without Greg, who would come out two days later. I was happy to hear that Greg could give us a cost and potentially do the work the same day. I did some googling and estimated the work would cost under $2k.
Greg came out on Monday and after looking at the situation also recommended we run a new line. I asked the cost and he quoted $7,500 - far more than I'd expected. When we pushed back on the cost, Greg became visibly irritated. He told me my research was obviously wrong because no one could do the work for significantly less. He asked why we'd told the earlier technician we wanted to do the work if we didn't. I was so perplexed, because isn't it completely reasonable to get a couple of estimates for work this expensive? Had the cost been near what I'd expected, I'd have certainly had them begin the work.
So I called another licensed plumbing contractor who came out the next day. He came to the same conclusion - that we would be best to run a new pipe. Cost? $1,850! That's a difference of over $5,000! A good reminder to always get more than one estimate for a major job.

We had a leak at our rental home and the warranty company said they wouldn't cover it because their test showed there was not a problem with the pipes. (Leaks from grout or shower pan are not covered items.) I decided to open up the ceiling below to expose more and get another opinion so I called Ted from Yelp.
Ted, the plumber said the pipes were bad. He said he saw corrosion from a poor soldering job and said that there was probably water behind all the walls. Ted recommended tearing out the entire shower and starting over.
I called for another opinion. The plumber I called said the corrosion that Ted, the plumber, referred to is not corrosion at all and that it is just residue left because they didn't wipe off the material they used when they soldered it. He said any plumber would know that and that this Ted guy is trying to get us to redo the entire shower when it isn't necessary at all. Ted charged me $200 to give me bad information that almost cost me thousands of dollars!

I had a leaky shower and called Rooter Hero. Although their plumber was really nice, they quoted me a ridiculous amount of $8000 to replace the whole shower system to remedy the problem. For a leaky shower? I asked a family friend to give me a second opinion. He found that the problem was a broken valve and repaired it for $200. Problem solved. Its worth getting a second opinion.

I don't understand the poor reviews. I had a wonderful experience with Ed from J & J plumbing. I had to have the main line from my house replaced. My home is 75+ years old in West Sacramento. I had originally called another company. The other plumber did not understand the setup on my property. I had very old orangeberg pipe. A friend suggested I call Ed. He was fantastic. Ed has been working in West Sacramento for 35 years. He understood the problem immediately. Ed got his crew out to my house and did the replacement with no problems. His crew left my yard looking better than when he showed up. It was very neat and tidy. He was also more affordable than the competition. I had an emergency and Ed saved the day.
