Always an amazing job! Wouldn't go to anyone else! Had a leak during 4th of july weekend and they had it fixed up in no time!

For Christmas I got a new shower head and when my husband tried to install it, the pipe broke off in the wall.  Even though it was the holiday season, Daniel came out and had the pipe repaired and the new shower head installed in less than 15 minutes.  Great work.  Thank you.

Our disposal finally bit the dust after several resuscitations over the last six months.  This a.m. I called Boden, whom we always use for our plumbing needs.  Chris, who also helped replace our kitchen sink faucet a while back, arrived promptly after lunch with a selection of disposals for us.  An hour later our new 3/4 horsepower Kitchen Aid Superba was installed and the antique antecedent removed from the premises.  No muss, no fuss...just satisfaction as usual.  What more can I say?  Oh, yes...a little pricey but always worth using the home town, Diamond Award winning team.  We're dedicated customers here.

We called Boden after I had spent an entire day trying to clear a clogged sewer pipe. They arrived within an hour, equipped with the heavy artillery to remove a large tree root ball and get us back in business. We were very pleased.

My complements to the folks at Boden plumbing and especially Andy. We had a significant problem with a blockage somewhere in our sewer system. Andy walked patiently through the alternative solutions and developed a game plan to fix the issue. He was meticulous in his work and didn't leave until the problem was completely fixed which was no small task. I will always go to Boden plumbing.

We've used Boden for several plumbing issues that have cropped up in two of our properties over the years and they've never disappointed! KC has not only done terrific work but he's told me how I could fix certain things myself over the phone - without charge - and even calls to check up how it went! That's what I call service. I've worked with many different property maintenance service companies here in Sonoma, from electricians to gate maintenance companies, tree trimmers, pool maintenance... and the folks at Boden Plumbing absolutely set the highest bar in terms of customer service and being absolute experts at what they do. I've used them for years for a couple of homes that we have here in Sonoma, and more often than not, they end up talking me out of expensive appliance replacement in favor of getting the most value out of the appliances we already have. They take the time to explain the reasons why they make their recommendations and are not afraid to educate the customer. They also are great about setting expectations for what it will cost when we do have to bite the bullet and replace an appliance. Again, service is top-notch, they're very responsive, and they come with my highest recommendation!

I had a main water line leak at my house that needed to be repaired and Terry and Casey were able to fit this in to their very busy schedule on one-day notice.  Casey came by early in the morning to layout where I needed to dig the trench through my front yard and then came by later to see if it was 'good-to-go' for him to come by the next day and install the new water line.  He took care of the job the next day, in a very short amount of time.

Casey saved the day.  We discovered early Thanksgiving morning that our toilet was broken and we needed a part replaced.  We had 50+ people coming at Noon.  We called Boden and we got the part at an extremely fair price and our toilet was up and running way before our guests arrived.  Phew.  Thank you Boden.  We will definitely call you again if another plumbing issue arises!

I am very pleased with the service we received from Boden.  Our furnace went out in the middle of the night.  I reached Boden the following morning and they had a technician at the house later that afternoon.  He was able to identify the problem, make a temporary repair and ordered the needed part.  The part arrived 2 business days later and they did the final repair the next day.

From start to finish Boden Plumbing and Air Conditioning was more than I expected. Promptly answered my inquiry (on a Saturday!) and had Tony out right away. Tony took the reigns and handled business honestly, quickly, and with a genuine smile. Problem was fixed! Now me and my family are living comfortably in our cool house. Seriously, what more can I ask for?!

I called Casey at Bowden since out on demand hot water heater stopped working.  We shared several emails back and forth as well as phone calls.  Our 11 year old hot water heater, run on well water, was not worth the time and effort to attempt a repair.  Once we decided that a new on demand hot water heater was required, and a better investment..,Casey dispatched a plumber the next day and the unit was installed.

We checked with our neighbors and the majority of them recommended Bowden.  The groups consensus was correct.  We are pleased and have hot water!  Thanks Casey and Dan for an efficient and easy job!

We had an angle stop burst under a bathroom
sink.  We were referred to Boden Plumbing by Bradley at Chem Dry who happened to be cleaning the carpets.  It is Saturday, and Terry, the owner of Boden, answered my call and dispatched
Dustin.  He arrived promptly and was very professional, knowledgeable, and friendly.  I am a homeowner and a real  estate professional for 25+ years.  I would highly recommend Boden Plumbing!

I called Boden last week with a furnace issue, and Daniel was able to show up on the same day. Less than a week after he was here to diagnose the problem with the inducer fan (on a furnace that was well beyond its useful lifespan) he was back with another technician, G, and the two of them installed a brand new furnace and A/C system. They finished the job by 3:30 PM on the same day they arrived, and I am really impressed and appreciative that they were able to install some pretty major appliances that will last for decades all in less than a day's work.

Daniel was upfront and honest from the beginning and did not pressure me to replace the furnace, offering multiple options with some helpful advice that helped me to make an informed decision about what I wanted to do. I was given a very fair quote for replacing the furnace which I knew was already on its last legs as well as the A/C that was also old and faulty. When scheduling a later time for the work to be done, we were able to schedule the service for right away the next week while still working around my moving schedule. Then Daniel made a trip back to their shop so he could bring over some space heaters, which kept the place very warm for the days before the new unit was installed.

I would definitely recommend Boden to anyone in the area who is having HVAC issues, and I want to thank Daniel and G again for all of the amazing work they did today!

Needed a service call ASAP.  Boden had a technician there within 30 minutes.  Tenant had not arrived back to house yet so technician had to be called back out.  Once again, help was on it's way! Great service Boden, thank you!

We've worked with the team at Boden for a few years now. We rent our home out and in addition to things just happening, people can do wacky things (like stick an entire head of lettuce down your garbage disposal...) They are super easy to get a hold of, often able to send someone out same day and very accommodating to work with given we sometimes have a strict schedule for them to work around. Most importantly, I trust them in my home and the quality of their work. They've helped fix and then later install a new garbage disposal, snaked our toilet multiple times, fix a leaking toilet and I'm pretty sure many other issues, as well. Dustin was fantastic! Once he arrived he provided a quote, resolved the issue of a clogged kitchen sink drain and left the area clean. I think the price was a bit high ($232) to snake a drain, but perhaps that's the going price for this service in Sonoma. Dustin also gave me a tip to run hot water through the drain on a weekly basis to help eliminate the issue from happening again in the future. We had Boden's come out last year to do an annual check-up of our central air.  They did a thorough job and gave us general advice and planning information (we have a 20-year-old system).

We had some electrical work done late winter and when our system wouldn't turn on today we called Boden's again.  They were able to very quickly dispatch someone on very short notice (during a heatwave nonetheless).   This is the type of service and responsiveness that creates long-term loyalty!  

The system is back up and running (was the fault of the electrician).

We will definitely be calling them as start planning for a new system!

I have been using Boden plumbing at work for years now.  They are always really fast to respond.  I called late yesterday afternoon so I knew they wouldn't be able to get out then, but they beat me to the office this morning.  Chris did a great job and communicated well with me about the issues.

Boden installed our heating and air conditioning system when the old one stopped working. Everything works well now. Recently I had to call upon Boden to fix a serious leak that caused flooding in my kitchen and garage; two men came quickly and fixed the problem and saved the house from destruction. Not only are these men knowledgeable, but so kind, patient and flat-out adorable. I feel always safe with Boden. Skilled angels, really. Oh, and the office crew, also wonderful. Whenever I have had to call, someone cheerful and intelligent answers within a couple of rings and is ready to get me help pronto.

I no longer worry when things go wrong with plumbing because I know they will soon go right with Boden.

Everyone at Boden Plumbing is professional, knowledgeable and has great customer service. Daniel was just at our house & did the Heater Tune-up special that they have for $89 until 11/30/17.  Great way to catch potential problems before it gets really cold.  They are definitely our go to plumbing & heating specialists.

I had a shower fixture that needed to be installed, a simple job. But it also required the wall to be opened and the valve replaced, not something your average plumber does. Casey understood what was needed quickly and Andy did a wonderful job.

Did I mention that this was all coordinated with one request on 12/29/16 and completed within 24 hours? Price was reasonable and the work was done professionally. Can't ask for more, they will be my plumber of choice in Sonoma.

Appreciated the after-hours answering service available for emergencies. Was immediately connected to one of the owners who was very accommodating scheduling an appointment around my availability. We've used Boden in the past always with good service and products, but this week they outdid themselves. About a week ago, we found water in the garage, Daniel came over that same day, analyzed the problem and we agreed to replace our house air conditioner.  For me, the biggest problem was that they (and others) were booked up weeks in advance, the weather was very warm, and because of my advanced years I'm very susceptible to heat. The next day, he brought over a portable air conditioner and that helped a lot, even though in the late afternoon I was stuck in our one cool room. He promised to fit us in if there were any cancellations, but I wasn't counting on it and forgot about it. But Boden didn't. They kept in touch  and within a week they called and said they'd be over the next day. Daniel came over yesterday, installed it with minimal fuss, and picked up the portable. Today, the temp hit 102° and I'm seriously grateful to be dealing  with a concerned local company.

Randy was prompt, courteous, knowledgeable, and amazingly effective. Fixed things where others had failed.  Price was fair.

Boden did a great job.  They came over to fix a plumbing issue within two hours.  They fixed it and told us some things we can do to avoid it in the future.  We have used them in the past and will use them again!

I initially found Boden Plumbing through recommendations on Yelp. I have now used their services three times and have not been disappointed yet. They have been taking care of issues at our rental properties and are always very prompt and professional. They take care of contacting our tenants to arrange a mutually agreeable time and have not failed us. They always call once they have diagnosed the problem and give me an accurate estimate of cost and how quickly the work can be completed.
It is nice knowing that if a plumbing issue does arise that I have a reliable source to turn to.

I've had two occasions in the past couple of months to call Boden plumbing. In both cases, they were out right away and dealt with the problem quickly and well. One was on a Sunday morning and Casey came out right away. The other was midweek and, as well as doing the work, Boden arranged for subcontractors to deal with driveway and landscaping repairs to go with the work.

The prices have been fair and the work was done right away. They really seem to go the extra mile.

Hot water went out on a Saturday... not good!  Called Boden's and Tony and Max came out to save the day... wasn't an easy fix and also weekend but they went above and beyond to get the necessary parts and get it to work! Can't say enough about them and Boden's!  Fair and quick response always!

Plumbing.  Websters' defines it as, the work of installing and maintaining plumbing systems.  However, if you look a little farther in that rag of a dictionary and find Boden Plumbing, it is defined similar but with a twist, The best in the business at the art of installing and maintaining plumbing systems.  You may not have known this, but I have for quite some time.  Casey runs the ship over there and I have known him for what seems like an eternity but don't let that cloud your judgement.  Moms' water pressure was about equivalent to a squirt of, well you know.  I decided to give Boden a jingle and see what could be done.  I got an appointment super kwik considering the holiday season and you know how folks back their toilets up around this time, I was impressed and Mom gets impatient.  They were out there in a jiffy and remedied the issue faster than you can say, Competitor.  There really is no competition when it comes to your plumbing needs in not only Sonoma, but abroad.  His team of skilled tradespeople (did I get that politically correct?) will get the shit done right and at a very fair price.  Going elsewhere should never be a thought.

Andy from Boden was one of the very best plumbers we have ever had the pleasure of working with! He was prompt, courteous, very neat and tidy, kept us informed of what he was proposing doing and how much it would cost. He also was very creative about figuring out solutions that would cost LESS rather than looking for ways to charge us more. I would call him a home care expert not just a great plumber. AND a heck of a nice guy!

This is the second time i have them fixing an issue and i am happy with their services.  Andy was very knowledgeable and explained clearly the different options and corresponding cost before proceeding.  Luckily, the first option (the least expensive) worked and my toilet is now working again.

Chris was extremely professional and was able to properly diagnose an issue that another plumber had misdiagnosed. He made all the arrangements when an outside septic company was needed, so that I didn't have to be involved, and the issue was fixed in a timely manner. Our air conditioning unit broke down in the midst of a heat wave. I called Boden to inspect. They came out promptly. The unit was 30 years old and beyond repair. They gave me a quote to repair on the spot and offered to loan me a portable unit while I waited for the new replacement. I had quotes from other companies and Boden beat them by thousands of $ on their first quote.
Dan came out on the date and time as promised.

Efficient, clean , knowledgeable and answered all my curious homeowner questions. They finished in one day .Quicker than expected and on budget. They even helped fix a broken sink supply line as a bonus. That's great service! I couldn't be happier with the product and service. House is now quietly cool.

Terry Boden and his crew are fantastic!  When needed they come right out, their pricing is fair and it's so nice to know I can count on them.

Our water heater malfunctioned on a Friday. Called Boden Plumbing and they quickly returned my call. Explained the problem and they sent a technician within a couple of hours. The technician- Jeremy - figured out the problem (which was not at all obvious) and set a time to come back with the needed materials first thing on Monday morning. He did and made the necessary repairs. I could not have been happier with his skills, knowledge and ability. All in all, a great experience with this company.

I own a home that you would call a fixer upper and have had many issues with my plumbing. I was in a pinch as my water heater broke down and we have some guests over at the house.  We called around and Casey @ Boden Plumbing was highly recommended to me.  

I called Casey and he returned my phone within 5 mins.   Casey was knowledgeable, courteous and professional.  After a few simple diagnostics and pictures over the phone, we concluded that the water heater needs to be replaced.   I was desperate and need the water heater FIXED TODAY...  I knew it was a stretch on anyone's schedule but I am so lucky that Casey was able to squeeze me in.

Casey and team were able to arrive at the house within the hour to replace my water heater right away.  They also cleaned up and perfected a few items from the last install: some loose wires, tightened straps, insulated and
wrapped gas lines, etc.  They were professional, quick and made the install look so easy.  After installation completion, they tested everything and of course our hot water worked like a charm... Everything worked perfect again!  They cleaned up the space, hauled away the old unit, completed the job in full, thanked me for the business and left...  everything was so seamless that it's as if my morning's stressful episode of broken water heater never happened.  Boy! I wish everything is THIS easy!

These guys are great! They fixed an issue that had been plaguing our office for two months, and that several other HVAC and plumbers refused to take care of for us. They were in and out in about an hour and even emptied our bins of water that we'd been collecting for 8 weeks! I can't thank them enough and recommend them to anyone!!

Its safe to say that these guys are the best around. For example, I've had no hot water the last couple days, finally called at 1030 am and they were here before noon! I've only experienced great service and under a trustworthy company. I've used them in the past and they were honest, knowledgeable and explained the situation in a way that was understandable for a lady who knows nothing about plumbing, electrical.
Today I could have felt like an idiot because I thought the pilot light wasn't igniting properly and possibly needed a new hot water heater. Instead of feeling like an idiot, I felt relieved, as I should be...Daniel came over and said it was really hard to light, and in no way talked down to me, like some blue collar men can do. I think it's very important to show respect to all, and that's exactly why I've seen from Boden. I hate when I hire someone to do something, that I obviously don't know how to do (because that's why I hired you, right?) and then have the nerve to talk to me like I'm an idiot for not knowing? This is not Boden at all. They are more than happy to do the work the right way without you feeling dreadful.
I couldn't be happier with their services and would recommend them to anyone around.

They tried to charge me 50% more than their quote AFTER they removed the original plumbing.  They also told me they thought they were more important than doctors.  That says it all.

First I'd like to start of by saying I did not get any work done by this company, so I cannont comment on the quality of their work.  At some point I may still hire them if the occassion arises. My interaction with this company began and ended with the appointment process and that is also where an issue arose. I called and scheduled an appt. The next day an hour after what I had received as the time frame I called to check on the status. I was told no appt. had been scheduled and that they had been booked for that particular day for weeks. Apparently I had come up with a date and time frame in my own imagination. They tried to reschedule for the next business day (apparently that day had not been booked for weeks), however I declined as I needed the work done soon.

Always a good experience.  Due to some poor drainage, we have to get the sewer line routed about twice a year...but we never know when.

Boden always answers the phone and shows up right away, does a thorough job, and is fairly priced.  The guys they send out are friendly and conscientious.

I am impressed! I called at 9:45 am, Andy arrived at 10:04. He called 2 more plumbers in to do the work with him. It took about 1 1/2 hours. I needed a new shutoff valve installed for a new refrigerator. They also completed the installation and stayed until the water dispenser worked!

Would recommend them and will not hesitate to use them again!

I am so grateful to these guys.  It's Christmas Eve Day and I have a house full of relatives arriving tonight.  I walked into the garage this morning to find a flood.  It was pouring out of the water heater.  11 people on there way from Southern Ca. to spend 3 days and no hot water....

I called these guys and it was nearly 5:00.  They were locking up to spend Christmas Eve with family.  Out of the goodness of his heart a young guy took  a deep breath and came to the rescue.  The tank had a hole in it.  He drove back to their home office, got me a new one, turned around and came right back out.  He spent two hours wading on his knees pulling the old unit out and putting the new one in.  He didn't charge me a nickle more than the usual rate.  My wife and I were flabbergasted.  I tried to give him a $20.00 tip which he refused to take.  I've always had good experiences with this company.  I wish there was something higher than a 5.

I just had Boden replace my furnace. Once again, the price was very fair and the service and communication were first class. After being let down by other companies, and then with the excellence of my interactions with Boden, I honestly cannot see ever calling anybody else.

Yesterday had a family member just home from the hospital & the toilet backed up.  Called Boden at 8:00 am and they were here in 15 minutes. Have always had quick, efficient service from them.

I noticed a leak in the morning and called Boben immediately. I got expert advice as to what I needed to do to troubleshoot the problem. They had two experts up to the house within two hours after I called back with info about the leak. Within 15 minutes, the leak was fixed and all was good. Amazing service and support!

I had a leaky toilet and asked for a little advice. I got generous counsel, selflessly and courteously given, in the most friendly and good-humored spirit.  Everyone in the office was as pleasant as could be.  Casey and Terry make plumbing *almost* fun.  I am glad Boden is our neighbor: they are great neighbors to have.  These are good people.

Boden is great! They are so responsive it is shocking.  Customer service does still exist in a big way with Boden.  I called to have our toilets replaced and receive the Sonoma County rebate, they do all the legwork!  I would recommend them to my best friend.  Thank you!

I hired Boden a few weeks ago to fix a clogged sink.  They came out on a Saturday, showed up on time and did a very thorough and professional job.  I thought the price charged was fair and the two guys who showed up were super-friendly, knowledgeable and efficient.  Would definitely recommend them and hire them again.

Update 10/18/18

I had to contact Boden again because the same issue arose as last year. I asked that Tony come out again and I said I think a spider got into the little hole that you resolved last year. Sure as your mom's sister's your aunt, a spider had crawled in there, died, and blocked the airway. Tony cleared it out, reassembled the motor, and my heater is working perfectly again.

Who knew an arachnid could screw up a heater? Thanks again, Tony! I'm glad I won't be cold again!

I can't recommend Boden enough. I have an old wall heater that is a pain in the ass. I didn't have heat for about two months! Boden had to come out to my house four times to repair it and it was driving Tony, the technician, absolutely nuts!

He told me that he spent his own time talking with his peers and that he was able to come up with the most random solution ever. And by golly, it worked! My house is now warm because of him.

Tony's time, customer service, and dedication to fixing the issue made my family a repeat customer. They came back out and fixed a leak and installed a new faucet.

I called on a Sat. My water heater was making a horrible noise. Mr  Boden himself came within the hour to take a look. I highly recommend their services!

Great to work with Terry and his crew. We needed some work done to install Propane in our house. Terry returned my call within a few minutes and came out and gave me an estimate (nicely priced) the next day. His crew came out in a couple of days and were very professional. They were even willing to do some additional work for me that I hadn't talked to Terry about.

Terry was also very helpful in correcting the work of another contractor (the Propane Company) that the building inspector failed.

Needed after hours service. I left a message and Casey called within a few minutes. An hour later, the problem was fixed! He was helpful, responsive and professional. Top notch!

I had an issue with my Takagi instant water heater not firing up. Called Boden and they came out and performed a descaling of the unit, which cost me over $300, but didn't fix the issue! They billed me, just the same and failed to provide a resolution other than suggest I buy a new unit.

After calling yet another Takagi certified plumber in Napa to fix it, who also charged me hundreds for an unsuccessful service call and another suggestion to replace the unit - I fixed it myself by getting on the phone with Takagi and working through the diagnostic steps with their technician.

It turned out to be a faulty $10 overheat shutoff switch that needed to be replaced. I did it myself and learned to never call a plumber again for this type of issue.

Boden Plumbing were my parents' plumbers for many years. My parents always thought very highly of them. I've used them in the last couple of years, while taking care of my mother, and I can see why my parents were such long-standing customers. They do excellent work, are reliable, and trustworthy. We've had some odd plumbing issues but Boden always correctly diagnoses and fixes the problem. I highly recommend them.

They always do great work, they stand behind their work and their workers are personable and trustworthy. I don't call anyone else but Boden when I need service.

BIG thumbs up to Boden Plumbing!! The young guys came out on extremely short notice today to fix a water tank problem and at a fair price. This is not trivial in anybody's house but we operate a cottage/ bed and breakfast here at Sonoma's Best and our guests really need to have their comfort looked after.

Did the re viewer's who granted five stars get second opinions?  Me thinks not.  I was having trouble with my hot water heater and did what I could myself, i.e. change the thermocouple.  When this did not fix the problem, I called Boden.  A 'gentleman/ employee was called.  He could not be bothered to get his own tools out of his truck and asked if he could borrow mine,  seriously?  He used my tools to tap the problem out.  He hit the thermocouple like three times.   Um, no, obviously it did nothing and they charged me about $70 to borrow my tools to hit a line, for a 'service call'.  They came back again and could not fix the problem.  They said that my gas lines were such that they couldn't possibly work on them until they were completely reversed, costing me thousands of  unexpected  dollars.  PG&E actually suggested calling another plumber since it was obvious that I was not having any resolution with Boden.  If PG&E says they are terrible, and others in community say that they are less than par.... then why call Boden.  BTW. another company in Sonoma fixed my issue in one visit without  charging me anything extra, it was a straight forward call with no surprises charges.

Boden took care of an emergency water heater replacement in my rental and have been super helpful and responsive in answering my questions before and after the service.  Would use them again.

Casey at Boden Plumbing was so incredible to me.  I was having 16 people over for a party and discovered I had no hot water.  He worked me in later in the afternoon, but warned me that if it needed parts, he may not be able to fix the problem that day.  He then called a bit later and said, Why don't I come over ahead of time and check it out, so if we need parts, I can get them.  He came over and discovered it was a breaker and fixed the problem.  I was so grateful.  When the problem arose again several days later, I called and the woman who answered got Casey on the phone and we figured out it was an electrical problem.
He then recommended who I call.  I am new to Sonoma and am so impressed with Casey and Boden, they will always be my go-to people.

I called Boden as I always do when I have a plumbing issue.  Casey and Chris came out and changed the fixtures on my kitchen and bathroom sinks.  They showed up on time, in nice, clean uniforms, and did such a wonderful job.  They were both very sweet, and took the time to explain everything when I had questions.  I thought the price was very fair as well.  This is not the first time I've used Boden, and it will not be the last, I was just so pleased with the work these guys did that I wanted spread the word.

Our renter called in a panic with toilet overflowing. We live near Seattle. Boden's man arrived fast on a Saturday, got everything handled and did not overcharge us. We are very happy! My husband was an electrical contractor for 27 years and he knows good contracting. Thank you so much Boden!!!

Recently I had a electric water heater replaced.  The order was quick and easy online.  The two plumbers were very nice, knowledgeable, quick and even repaired a minor leak in the kitchen that wasn't scheduled.  Also, they gave me advice on HAV systems.  Highly recommended.

I called on a Saturday night on a holiday weekend. Within 10 minutes, I got a call back and within an hour my hot water was fixed at my business. Without that exceptional service, my business would have been negatively impacted. Thank you for being dependable and providing great service!

Nothing but bad experiences with Boden. I wish it was otherwise as I moved to Sonoma 3 yrs ago and called for a bid on some plumbing work. They arrived in 3 days and never got back to me. I called several times and finally gave up and went with another company. I called a second time to get a clog cleared and was quoted twice the price of another yelp plumbing business in Petaluma. Today I called to say I was coming into their showroom to and needed to ORDER a sprayer for my kitchen faucet and wanted to pick up a QUALITY drain for my kitchen sink and they said they don't carry those parts, try Friedman's. Grrr, I wanted quality and service that is equal to their prices and got abruptness and dis-concern. They are the only plumbing supply in town and don't supply as advertised in the yellow pages. have no idea why they have received good ratings when I've had bad experiences on three different occasions. I was contacted by Bowden asking me to take down my yelp review but this is counter productive to why people use yelp. I have posted great reviews and bad reviews... But always fair and honest reviews.

Called Bowden to descale old water heater. They were prompt, but used a leaky bucket... water was leaking through my ceiling into canned light fixtures. Somewhat apologetic.
When I called for a quote on new on demand water heater, it was for $10,000/ 3 times the amount 3 other highly rated plumbers quoted me. There is a reason why they may be prompt... would not recommend.

In the two years we have lived in Sonoma we have had Boden Plumbing to our house three times. They are bar-none the best in the valley! We have been completely satisfied with the service, and in every occasion they have been to us within an hour.  Go Boden or may your pipes burst!

We had a failure of our AC system in the middle of the recent heat wave in Sonoma.  Boden moved clients around to get a tech out to our home to work on our AC system.  The tech Boden sent, Anthony Forcell came the next morning and did major repairs, that unfortunately didn't solve the immediate problem of lack of cooling.  Anthony came back that same afternoon and added Freon to our system and properly diagnosed the underlying problem of the cooling coils icing up.  Following his instructions, we restarted our system this morning and it now works as designed.  We have used Boden for plumbing as well as AC service for many years and have no reservation recommending them for high quality work and timely response to problems.

I am VERY impressed with Casey at Boden Plumbing and Air! Of COURSE our AC went out on the HOTTEST day of the year, which also happened to be a holiday when we woke up and realized it was out, Labor Day, and with a house with windows facing east west, and 100 degrees outside by 9 in the morning, I called Boden at 10:15am without much hope of actually being able to take care of it today, but I was wrong!!

Casey Boden arrived at 11:35am, LESS than TWO hours later!! With two guys, and loaner portable air conditioners JUST in case they couldn't temporarily fix our central air before replacing it! The portables weren't needed though, as they replaced the capacitor and had it up and running again in less than 10 MINUTES, after taking less than TWO HOURS to arrive ON A LEGAL HOLIDAY!!

Talk about impressive all the way around! Sure, I paid a bit more for emergency service on a holiday, but I was expecting that. NO PROBLEM! Glad to do it. Now they will give me estimates for replacing all 3 of our 20 year old units, and when they do, I'll come back here and update you guys that are reading this and wondering whether you should hire them.

We've used Boden a few times and have been impressed every time.  I was off-sight and had them come fix an exterior leak.  Their work came in under bid (and I was off-sight!).  When does that ever happen?

Biden has been our go-to plumber since we moved to Sonoma several years ago.  They have dealt with a number of issues (well water, city water, low pressure, running toilets, replacement valves, complicated and divided plumbing structures under the house etc., etc., etc).  We have usually been very satisfied and when we had a lingering problem, they wouldn't give up until it was solved.  They are very responsive and have qualified people on staff.  I am very glad they are here in Sonoma.

I submitted my request online and got a very quick response from Boden.  Very professional.  A plumber was out in a matter of a couple of hours and they were able to relight the pilot in our water heater to get us through the replacement, which they were able to do within two days.   It required moving some other pipes and they did very knowledgeably.  Pricing was fair.  Thank you!  Would highly recommend.

Dan was able to come out to my home that same day I called.  They had to shuffle their schedule and did so to help me out.  My water heater went out and I had no hot water.  The technician Dan did an outstanding job and left the area spotless.  He was pleasant and helpful and got the job done perfectly.  I highly recommend Boden Plumbing as one of the best in the area.  I am just a customer and have no ties to this company otherwise.  My comments are honest.

Boden Plumbing was great! As a single person I'm always concerned about getting ripped off and im new to the town of Sonoma. They offered to come out immediately but it wasn't a serious emergency. I will never drop my toothbrush in the toilet again I can surely say. Came out really fast. Wouldn't hesitate for a moment to call them again.

Woke up Wednesday morning to a Luke warm shower. I was able to restart the Pilot light on my hot water heater so my wife wouldn't have to take a cold one. Today my wife came out and said the shower is cold! Oh crap! It's Saturday and I know it's going to be a long weekend since my wife can't have her hot shower. I called Boden Plumbing and left my name and number with the call service. Within 10 minutes Casey called me. I was able to explain what was going on with the hot water heater, and I sent him a picture the water heater serial number. He texted me back that he would have someone heading my way shortly. They replaced a part on the water heater and cleaned up after the repairs. Wife is now able to take her shower and I don't have to worry about arranging to meet someone during the week. Thank you Casey and staff for the great service.

Randy & Rudy from Boden Plumbing came out to our house yesterday and today because we had a leak. They were quick, friendly and reliable. They did a great job and we are super happy with their customer service and attention to detail. Unbelievable service from the moment I called this morning. Our AC stopped working early this morning, the same day a heat wave arrived in Sonoma County. The temp is supposed to be over 105 degrees for the next several days.

Megan did everything she could to get us on the schedule for today. She could not have been more helpful. Daniel and Scott arrived right on time for the appointment, no doubt one of the busiest days of the year for Boden. They quickly diagnosed the problem, provided me with a quote, and fixed the AC in less than 30 minutes.

We will not only use Boden for all our plumbing, heating & air needs, but also tell our friends about the exceptional service.

Once again Boden to the rescue.  I had a water bill more than double my usual bill. Long story short, had a leak right after the meter.  Appeared to be PVC.  Wanted soft. copper.  All the way to house.  They came estimated the cost.  Hooked me up with a landscaping company to dig.  On time repair at agreed price (which was lower than another bid I got.  6 stars.

Boden Plumbing is amazing.  I have used them on my personal residence and on rentals and the response time, the follow through, the prices and the people who work there are all top notch.  5 stars is saying a lot but they deserve them all.  If you don't like them it's probably your fault, just joking but it probably is.

We called Boden to help with a project at a clients home. It was a simple project, but an unexpected plumbing situation occurred, and they helped to contain it, and clean up a mess they really didn't have to. This company helped save the home from a lot of potential damage, and I'm super grateful that we had them on-site to help above and beyond what they were called on for.

Got a bid today for over $850 for about 1.25 hours work changing out a simple tub valve.. Thank god I shopped around and  got another  quality plumber for just $200. I felt like this Andy was actually laughing inside thinking he was going to get some sucker to pay that astronomical price.

One of the amazing things about living in Sonoma is the kindness of people and professionals here. We had a hot water heater leak this morning right in the middle of a very busy day. Boden's plumber came out and smacked the hot water heater in just the right place with his wrench and made it all good again. He gave us a great education in hot water heaters, water softening, instant hot water heaters and how to get rid of that nasty film we get on glasses in the dishwasher. You bet we'll be calling them back again when the time comes for some real repairs or upgrades. A toast to Boden!

I called Boden Plumbing on November 14, 2019, and Terry Boden indicated he could replace my 16-year old 40-gallon gas water heater the same day.  Regrettably, I had neglected to have the sacrificial  anode rod replaced at about five-year intervals, and now Sonoma's hard water was asking for payback (replacing an anode rod at more than about ten years is not recommended, since the threads are probably fused in place).  

The install went fine, except for adding a drip pan under the water heater and drip pan drain line; these are now code requirements for new installs, or for replacement installs that are inside a habitable space, installs at any level above the ground floor, or installs in an attic or ceiling area.  The problem was that the circular drip pan Boden had available was far too large to fit in the elevated wooden shelf in my garage designed to support a natural gas fired water heater.  But even if there had been room for a drip pan, it would have cost an additional $500 to run a drip pan drain line to where the line could exit through a hole drilled in my garage foundation so the drain line would exit to an outdoor location.  So, no drip pan or drip pan drain line were installed.

This would have been fine except I wanted a permit pulled; yes, the Sonoma County Permit & Resource Management Department wants a building permit even for a replacement water heater.  Boden Plumbing indicated it would need to add several hundred dollars to the job cost if I had them pull the permit, and indicated I could save that amount by obtaining the permit myself.  

Little did I know what a chore I was in for.  I signed up to the Sonoma County Permit Online system and started the application on November 14.  The site warned that applying for a permit was not authorization to start work, which should only be done once a permit had been issued.  Right.  For a replacement water heater.  Got it.  Just suck it up and take cold showers for a couple of weeks.

It was not until November 21, seven days later, that I received an e-mail indicating Your application for Building Permit No Plan Check has been accepted and is now entering the initial completeness review phase.  A permit has not been issued and this is not an authorization to begin work.  You will be notified within two business days of our findings and when payment will be due.

Checking on-line on November 22 revealed that the permit had been approved, subject to a payment of $90; an $82 plumbing minimum permit fee, a $4 certified access specialist training fee, and a $4 technology enhancement type 1 fee.  Don't know why I should be expected to pay for specialist training, or what a technology enhancement fee is for, but I realize that a post-Proposition 13 governmental agency has to be creative in assessing additional fees so they don't count as an impermissible property tax increase.

The on-line payment by credit card went fine.  The next available inspection date was November 27; also fine by me, since the replacement water heater was already installed and providing me with hot water, pursuant to Mr. Boden's statement that for an emergency or failed water heater situation, it was okay to go ahead and have the work done, and take care of the paperwork afterwards (yes, I am doing a CYA here).

The inspection was initially scheduled for 8 AM on November 27, but later changed, I discovered by checking on line, to 1:32 PM.  And sure enough the building inspector arrived at 1:35 PM and yes, I was impressed.  The inspection took all of 5 minutes.  The inspector found Boden Plumbing's work to be acceptable, and since the water heater was in my un-heated garage (i.e., not a habitable space) and with a concrete floor that drains to my driveway, did not make an issue of no drip pan or drip pan drain line to the outside.

So, was it worth it?  Yes, because now there is a record of a permit being issued for an obviously new and Bay Area Air Quality Monitoring District (BAAQMD) ultra-low nitrous oxide (NOx) compliant water heater.  Having permits on record for all work done can avoid problems later if a real estate disclosure questionnaire asks if any un-permitted work has been done.

I needed a wall furnace replaced. The unit costs $1000, and Boden quoted me $5400 to do the job. Its a 2 hour job. So they wanted to charge me 2000 an hour. Rip off. No integrity. I cant believe all the good reviews. They are probably fake. I remember I had called them before about a bathroom leak and they wanted to redo my whole bathroom and all it was a leaky toilet line.

To all those cat lovers never flush clumping kitty litter down your toilet you will most likely cause your own problems as I did.  I flushed myself

Called to have a toilet fixed and we set a date and they give you a two hour window... Ok that's fine totally understandable.  When you're half an hour past the window I call and finally get an employee and his immediate response was I tried calling you and your phone isn't working... Amazing how

1) I called you from that phone
2) after leaving a message with the answering service you magically call me and get through

No attempt to make it right, no apology just blaming my phone... FAIL

UPDATE: got a call from one of their employees asking me to take this down because it lowers their rating. (WOW)  

I'm a repeat well was a repeat customer and the lady that booked the appt read me my number off their records so can't blame a number getting kicked.  Also received a text blaming the phone number couple hours after the fact.

Maybe it's just me but a we messed up and would like to make it right not shifting blame and trying to protect their yelp rating
