I was referred by a friend who highly recommended them. I called to have a sewer pipe repaired and they said they don't do sewer pipes because they are too small of a company. This yelp page has pics of sewer pipe repairs so....

I had another plumber come out this morning from Carter and he told me he couldn't fix the main line clog and that I needed a major repair. Thanks to my local handyman, I got a referral to Lance @ Harvey and Sons. He is very friendly and customer service oriented. He told me he wouldn't charge me if he couldn't clear the line.  I was very anxious about having to have a major plumbing repair but he was able to clear the line and diagnose the problem correctly. I am going to bypass my home warranty company in the future and call Lance if I have any more plumbing problems!

I called Harvey And Sons this morning as I had a leak from my toilet line.  Lance asked if it was an emergency and if not he could be out this Afternoon.  A few hours later he called and he said he was on his way.  Lance was very personable and I could tell he knew his stuff.  I had bought the wrong part to repair the line but Lance had the right part with him.  He quoted me a very fair price.  He repaired the problem very quickly and I paid him extra as He did me right.  I have had experiences with other plumbers who charged me up the ying yang.  I have a new plumber now and I highly recommend them.  Harvey And sons Plumbing receives the Freebyrd Seal of Approval!  Thanks Lance, I really Appreciate it!

Lance and his son joey are the best at what they do.They saved  me so much money by caring about the client, and not just how much money there is to make. Having me call the city to check there line first.Most plumbers wood have just cleared the clog and charge  a fee. Thanks so much for all your help, you are my forever plumber. Anita

I called this company and they answered promptly and were very honest with me on the phone which was a positive and I proceeded to make an appointment with him (Lance). They were busy and I waited until Tuesday after the Labor Day weekend for them to arrive at my home. They did arrive on time as promised.

BUT when they arrived at my home and I answered the door with my mask on, Lance and his son were not wearing masks. I asked, what are we doing today? Are you going to wear masks?
Lance replied, I don't have any masks on me. Looked at his son and asked him...Do you have masks? His son shook his head no.

I then told him, I have masks. Let me get you one.
His reply, no that okay and started to turn around to leave. I asked, so are you refusing me service?
He replied (with attitude in his tone), we are not wearing mask's, I'm telling you that!

So here I am writing a yelp review! Are we having fun yet?

I get it, it's a highly controversial issue but what Lance needs to understand is that he is coming into a private home without knowing who lives there or their conditions.
I have my 90-year-old mother in law living here who is a survivor of Covid-19 and I have somebody in the household with a recent compromised immune system and three time cancer survivor. And I have asthma.

Every home is different. If some homes are okay with no masks, perfect. If some homes request a mask it's for a reason, be prepared, professional and have masks ready for yourself and your son, your employees, etc.

It's not only about respecting your own business it's about respect to those you provide services to (the public) and more than ever, being mindful of the situation ALL of us are in.

Be aware and Be safe!

Lance sr took the time out of his busy schedule to fit me in the same afternoon I called him. Came wearing a mask which was appreciated and Immediately knew what the problem was and what to do to solve it.

Another amazing experience with a local small business! I hired these guys and Lance Sr. came out quickly. Prior to coming out, he gave me an excellent quote which was really reasonable and fair. My request was to have a plumbing fixture removed and replaced with one that I purchased from Home Depot which was an upgraded fixture. When Lance got to our place, he looked over the new fixture and noticed that the threads for securing the fixture weren't fitting properly. He calmly advised that I return the item and quickly offered to not charge me for the visit. I countered, making an attempt to pay him as I appreciated his gesture and honesty, which is a challenge to find nowadays. He still insisted, and even offered to return when the new item was in my possession and he would only charge me the original quote! This guy spent money on gas and wasted a little time coming over to my house and was cool as a cucumber, making sure to take care of the customer and instill confidence in me that he wasn't about just making a buck.

After he left, I returned to Home Depot to exchange the item. Once I had the part in hand, I called Lance and he quickly arranged to return to my home and complete the work. All of this, from original quote to completion, happened in the very same day. There have been no problems with his work since installation about 10 months ago.

Integrity means a lot to me, and Harvey and Sons is all about integrity. You will not regret supporting this small business. They'll look out for you.

Lance was responsive initially and provided peace of mind when he identified our clogged kitchen/laundry drainage problem and recommended a solution to replace a portion of the line because the different-aging pipe materials was creating leaks. However, when he started work on Friday morning and left to go find a part, he didn't return. He didn't respond to any texts or calls when I was trying to just know if he was coming back that day or returning on Monday. I thought he would at least return to pour some enzyme down the drain to mitigate the problems from the clogging, but I guess he had already decided that he wasn't going to do this job without informing me.

All weekend, I was left with a clogged drain, unable to wash dishes or do laundry. I called Monday morning to see what time he would come in, and he told me he does not do sewer work and rushed out of the call, leaving me hanging.

Reading the other reviews, I'm sure he does great work, but I hope he does a better job communicating with his clients in the future. I would have liked to have known from the get-go that this was a job that he does not do, rather than see him start work, say that he needs to get a part to continue work, and then bail.

In the time of COVID, he wore a mask. 2 stars.

So, I am fairly shocked. I got a call from someone at the company this afternoon regarding a call I suppose I made a week or so ago regarding getting a water heater replaced. I found someone who would do it a bit sooner (how would you like to be without hot water for a couple of weeks waiting for a return call.. and, yes, I get it was between Christmas and New Years...), and I told this to the person. He then said, Ok, well don't bother calling me again. At first, I wasn't sure I heard him, as most people would say something like, If you'd like help in the future, please think of us, so I asked him to repeat it. He did and added that I called him three times. Well, I didn't. I don't even remember calling him at all. Perhaps Home Depot called him on my behalf. In any case, he took it out on me. I can't comment on the quality of their work, but I can comment on how I, as a potential customer, with multiple rental properties and someone who's always looking for good service companies, was treated.

I can't recommend Harvey and son plumbing enough! I used them about 3 weeks ago to install a toilet that I had purchased from Build.com that I was going to install myself. Time constraints didn't allow me to get it Installed. I emailed several plumbing  company's and no one responded when I told them that I already owned the toilet.  If I wasn't buying a toilet from them they didn't want to do business. I called Harvey and Son plumbing and spoke to Lance who was up front and honest with me on price and what should be done. They came out and installed the toilet and let the bathroom spotless! Thanks so much for such outstanding service.

I called Harvey and Sons Plumbing this morning for a toilet issue.  He came over later this afternoon and fixed the problem.  Very friendly and professional.  I am a totally satisfied customer.  I will b definitely referring him to my friends and family.  He is the best for your plumbing needs.

Called and spoke to Lance about a price quote for some work I needed in the bathroom. He made an appointment to come out the next day but he didn't show.  After several hours waiting, I called and left a message to call me.  He didn't call back.  Not very professional in my book.  Be forewarned.

I have used Harvey and Sons Plumbing for my rentals and personal residence.  Lance is less expensive and provides much higher quality work than other plumbers in the area.  Thank you Lance for your great work!!!
