Joe installed 2 new water heaters, repaired bathroom sink and changed the kitchen faucet. He was always on time and his price was very good.

I had a serious leak, but Atlas never returned my phone call.  I had to call Able who came out early the next day.  Guess they'll be getting my business in the future.

Joe did a great job installing our hot water heater. Price was fair and he was able to put in one that we purchased ourselves. Professional and helpful.

We needed a water heater replaced and Joe was very responsive to my requests.  He was able to come out very quickly and did a great job and reasonably priced.  I won't hesitate to use him for my next plumbing job

I emailed  and they responded fast. I had to wait until Monday I called them on a Sunday. The first guy showed up right on time and worked for several hours trying to ratify my problem it didn't second day new people came over late I called to find out where they were. They were very nice and worked for quite a few hours and got half of it done and then said it was going to cost me another $1800 to complete the job correctly. I decided not to pay the extra amount. My toilets wouldn't drain when I first started the project.

After having several poor experiences with a few different local plumbing outfits we finally found Atlas Plumbing . We needed a few bathroom repairs done for our home sale and were put off and put off till finally we had to call all that time lost and continue our search for a reliable Plumber . Joe at Atlas responded within minutes to our call and made time in his day to come over and take a look at our situation. A few days later our problems were fixed and our house was ready to go . He took time to check out all our bathroom fixtures and toilets and even offered to go under the home to give us some peace of mind moving forward with our sale . I highly recommend this this company to anybody looking for honest and thorough work .

If you need an honest competent plumber, then ATLAS is who to call. I called on a Wednesday afternoon and ATLAS came Thursday morning as promised. At our new office they unclogged two bathroom sinks, fixed one toilet tank and fixed one leaky kitchen sink. I was very surprised at the reasonable rates. In the past, I've paid way more for this type of plumbing issues. Lastly, the personnel was attentive and professional. Without reservation I recommend ATLAS.

On Saturday, Christmas morning our propane water heater died.  We live in the foothills 30 miles outside of Chico. Not only was it the holidays, we also had a major winter storm going on for several days with wind, ice, snow and treacherous roads.  We called several plumbers who were not able to respond due to our distance from town, the weather and the timing with the holidays.
On Wednesday we called Atlas Plumbing and Mechanical. We spoke with Joe Grilho.  He agreed to come up and install a new water heater and repair an adjacent leaking pipe two days later at 2:00 PM. This happened to be New Years Eve!  
Despite the freezing weather and snow, (It was 34'), Joe made it up to our place.  It was miserable conditions to work in because the water heater is  accessed from the outside of the house.  For 6 hours Joe cheerfully stood in the snow and ice and skillfully removed the old tank and installed the new water heater. He was totally prepared with all the tools and skills needed to do the job even in adverse weather conditions.  He had to set up lights to work in the dark as well as rigging to lift up the new heater. He was so competent and cheerful throughout the whole process.
We were most impressed with Joe due to  his skills, knowledge  work ethic and superb attitude! We have an older home and are planning on consulting with Joe in regards to extensive plumbing upgrades.
Oh, and I was totally grateful for my New Years Eve bubble bath!

Joe installed a tankless water heater for us on an older home. He also moved the hookups for the washer/dryer from the kitchen to the basement. Both of these projects were very complex and involved due to the age of the house. Joe and his team completed the work on time and the results look and work great. Since then, I have called Joe out for other plumbing issues at other properties. He is extremely responsive, easy to reach, easy to work with, follows through, and does quality work. Joe is my first and only call for plumbing needs in Chico.

Joe Grilho returned today to install a part in our Reverse Osmosis system. It is functioning very well now. We utilize this system a lot. It not only supplies us with pure drinking water, we also have this system connected to the ice maker in our refrigerator.

I contacted Atlas Plumbing due to a water heater issue. I spoke with Joe and he stated they would be at my residence in 30 minutes. Joe and crew arrived within 30 minutes and resolved the issue. I highly recommend Joe and his crew. I will never use another plumber. Chico - Kevin H.

We used American Home Shield to contract a plumber to unclog our shower drain,  and Atlas Plumbing and Mechanical was given the green light.  Within 1.5 hours, Brian and Andrew were at our door ready to get to work. It had been raining and, without request, both took of their shoes.  They immediately started working, and after some adjustments to their drain snake to fit through an old p-trap, the snake popped through the clog and te water drained. Both were polite, great mechanical skills, worked hard and fixed the drain, tested their work and cleaned up the workplace.  Both were awesome, and Atlas will be given a 5 star for the work performed today.  Cannot thank you enough, but now I have to go jump in the shower.

We had some stoppage problems with our sewer line. Atlas made a apportionment the SAME DAY! Very reasonably priced, and had a awesome crew! Gave me some helpful tips and advice as well. Overall, I strongly recommend anyone who needs a affordable, reliable and knowledgeable plumber to consider Atlas!

Joe was awesome! I had an issue with my main line, tub was backed up, toilets wouldn't flush. I had 4 different plumbing companies in my house over the course of 2 weeks, $1700 later and the problem still hadn't been fixed. Then Joe comes along and had it taken care of in under an hour and for a fraction of the cost. Thank you Joe!

The main drain clogged late Friday. Called old reliable plumbers but were closed till Monday or not doing weekends.  John at Atlas not only was working, he squeezed me in early Saturday morning. Was a pleasant guy, on time, and reasonably priced. Have already recommended him.

These guys are total life savers. When Urban Design left me down $450 AND without hot water for what would've been 7-8 days, these guys came to the rescue and installed a new Hot Water heater on a Saturday morning. They were incredibly competent and friendly and I truly wish I'd called them first. They will absolutely be the first place I call with any plumbing issues in the future.

I can't recommend Atlas enough. Joe was very responsive, professional and friendly. He took the time to explain the plumbing nuances of our older home, which was extremely helpful. He did not cut corners and ensured the job was done right. We will definitely be using Atlas for all of our future plumbing needs.

My son clogged the toilet. Joe @ Atlas Plumbing responded to me quickly, gave me a reasonable quote and a same-day time-slot opportunity. I took it!

Justin arrived on time (early in fact!) and went straight to work. He was very kind and responsive to all the questions my curious 5 year old asked. It really made his day, and our day, too.

The clog turned about to be more serious than my wife or I guessed. Originally she thought it was just a toilet paper roll -- i figured it was probably more serious since 2-3 days of plunging and other simple methods didn't solve it.

He found 2 socks.. whew, we'll we're glad he pulled something out!
But then it was still clogged!

We were informed on the next steps, and given price quotes for each step.

Next step: remove toilet and see if it can be unclogged.
Justin went to work with his auger to get out what was in there, and there was definitely something in there. We could see an orange shadow but couldn't quite see what it was. All the while my 5 and 2 year old watched patiently like they were watching a movie.

After plenty of time attempting removal, it was deemed truly clogged. We'd have to get a new toilet. He asked us if we'd like him to break it open and see what's inside. Heck yeah we would! We all watched, entertained, as he cracked away and eventually revealed... a SOLID ORANGE WOODEN BALL inside! What the heck!!!

Final step: Replace with a new toilet! Justin went to the store (again), grabbed a toilet and replaced ours with a new and working one. We paid the quoted price (very reasonable!) and I'm finally happy again we have a downstairs working toilet.

Justin @ Atlas plumbing was very professional, good with the kids, and efficient with his time here. The kids had a great time watching him do his work, and overall it was a really good experience for them. It was an unexpected expense, but with Atlas and Justin, it softened the blow quite a bit.

From the first phone call, to the stellar on point repairs, Joe at Atlas Plumbing and Mechanical was timely, professional and concerned for our need for a quick resolution to our problem. Through the process, from beginning to end, Joe's communication and skill was outstanding.

Water leak in a very bad place in the attic.  Joe came out (on a Saturday) I know, right!  Quickly analyzed the needed repair, got to work and was finished in short order.  As a retired contractor I appreciated his responsiveness with the right tools and materials to address the issue.  To sweeten the deal, his pricing is reasonable.  We will recommend him to all our friends (and we do this for very few contractors).

Yesterday morning our toilet ended up getting clogged by paper towel we thought we could unclog ourselves. We tried everything googled suggested to us and even 2 different lengths of toilet augers but still could not get it. After try all day long to unclog it we chose defeat and went straight to Yelp to find a plumber.

Started a project through Yelp and Atlas was one of the first ones to respond, mind you it's around 7 in the evening. Joe was the only one that was able to give us a flat rate quote through Yelp messages without having to get on the phone to chat or even come by and do a diagnostic first. Unlike other local plumbers who will charge you for a diagnostic then charge to fix the issue or the other highly unprofessional plumbers we had called.

We were able to schedule an appointment for the next morning. Joe came on by first thing in the morning and was able to unclog the toilet in no joke 10 mins! While he was over Joe went ABOVE AND BEYOND when we mentioned our same bathroom sink was draining slowly, he was able to clear the blockage for us. While he was looking at the sink, he ended up noticing there was a leak underneath that he went ahead and fixed it as well!

Highly recommend using this company and will be using Atlas for future plumbing issues!

I called for a couple leaks under our new house (not fixed by seller.) He was able to come within a few days and was very professional. Got the estimate and the whole job done all in the same day. I have needed a plumber in the past and the wait time was always 2-3 days if I could even find someone to come over.

A Saturday morning! We see a small standing puddle of water outside in the yard where the main water line goes into the house.  It was a slow leak, and the water would pulsate every 8 seconds or so.  Went to Yelp, and Atlas Plumbing came up with many 5 Star reviews.  We sent a message to Atlas and got a response from the owner Joe within 10 minutes.  Joe indicated he could head over immediately; he provided an estimate of the time needed to do the repair, the cost, and the timing of his arrival.  I love that he could provide an exact time.  We confirmed the repair appointment, and Joe arrived at the specified time.  Joe is exactly what you would want in a contractor coming to your home;  neat and professional, friendly, knowledgeable, efficient.  Joe listened to us as we described what we saw, and explained how we made the problem worse by digging down into the dirt ourselves where we got too close to the PCV pipe causing the crack to become larger and making it leak more profusely.  Joe got to work immediately.  He had to dig more through the dirt  to expose more of the plumbing and pipes. He took a few minutes to look at the problem, saw the issue and started the fix.  He had all the needed parts and tools with him, and fixed the problem within the timeframe he indicated.  Once the pipe glue at the repair site was set, he stayed for the time needed to ensure the leak was fixed and there were no other leaks.  I cannot believe that this issue got resolved within an hour and a half of my reaching out!  On a Saturday, no less. We highly recommend Atlas Plumbing for their integrity, knowledge and professionalism.    5 Stars!!
