Decker Plumbing

Thanks to Jeff I didn't have to go without hot water for more than a day. This last Saturday my water was not getting very hot and no matter the weather, I need my hot water. I was wondering what I was going to do as I have always had trouble getting repairs taken care of on the weekend. I noticed there was a small leak underneath my water heater when I finally looked. I was hoping to get it repaired but after doing my own personal research I realized I needed an entirely new one. 

After a few calls I found Decker Plumbing. I got a real person on the phone who was not only pleasant but stayed in communication with me. They got me scheduled with Jeff, who was very knowledgeable and made me feel confident that he would do the job efficiently and correctly. I also loved the great warranty program they offered through Bradford White. I can honestly say that Jeff was amazing! Take my word for it, if you need a new water heater he's the one to call.

I am so happy with the job that Mac from Decker Plumbing did in my kitchen! He showed up on time and was very courteous and knowledgeable. I'll admit, I know very little about plumbing and I've had some plumbers with other companies who were rude and short, but Mac was great about explaining what was going on to me and making sure I made an informed decision.

Decker Plumbing services was wonderful! The customer service their staff provided was superb & made it a priority to address my issues in record time! I noticed that my garbage disposal was not properly disposing food & was making a very unusual noise. It stopped working, which made me very uneasy on the thought of what it would cost to get it repaired. I can't believe how fast their staff was able to fit me in, the same day I called! The pricing was very reasonable & their plumber was able fix my garbage disposal pretty fast!
He was VERY knowledgeable and kind! Would highly recommend Decker Plumbing for any plumbing needs, their services exceeded all my expectations! My garbage disposal works better than it did before & I'm so glad I called the professionals to take care of it!

Although I am wishing I could've used these guys, I hope someone else out there can! I recently encountered a bad experience with a different plumbing company and I'm just kicking myself wishing I used Decker Plumbing instead. I had spoken to Chris and he was very upfront and honest with me. Originally, I had gotten an estimate but I thought it was a little high so I decided to go with someone else. Which, was a bad move! They had given me a price upfront and a fast appointment. Chris was very helpful and honest. I feel they actually care about their customers too. Don't mess up like I did! Use Decker Plumbing or you'll regret it!

Excellent service. Had to get my water heater repaired on short notice and they fit me in their schedule even though they were pretty busy. Really nice technician. I got my pilot light replaced. Would definitely recommend!

Had Chris from Decker over to change my water heater. He was great! It all went without a problem, he was able to squeeze a 50 gallon tank into a small closet which was a fabulous upgrade for me. I can't be more pleased. He looked at and fixed a leaky toilet for free! (He probably doesn't want me to tell anyone that, lol) I have had my home for almost 20 years and had my share of services for plumbing from the simple kitchen disposal to the leaky faucet. This company was a pleasure. They have all my future business.

Wow! These guys are incredibly fast at what they do! Usually the process of fixing one's home is exhausting and overwhelming, however with the kind staff and GREAT customer service I was able to get an appointment same day to fix my water heater. Chris came out and helped fix the control valve on the water heater after he presented me with multiple options of how to continue. He helped me weigh out the pros and cons of just buying a new one versus just fixing the part. I did not feel taken advantage of at all (as I usually do when it comes to home/auto repairs). Between the customer service, the promptness, and the price-- you can say that I am satisfied. Definitely would go back to these guys for all of my future household problems!

I had a pretty amazing experience with Decker Plumbing.  They are the most knowledgeable guys in the water heater game, in my humble opinion.  Any type of question I had their plumber Jeff could answer right away with no hesitation.  I have asked other plumbers and they had to get back to me or talk to a manager.  

He actually told me I should downgrade to a smaller water heater since mine previously was way too large for how many people are in our house.  I really appreciated that because it shows they are honest and will sell you only what you need. I mean, who doesn't want to spend less money on heating up water you don't need! Which is pretty amazing, hard to find those people!

Jeff was awesome and was even good with my son when he came over.  He did the new installation very fast. If you're looking for some guys who are honest about the things you need you can trust them.  They have a great knowledge and background of water heaters too.

They were also timely.  I have talked to a lot of plumbers and it seems like they are not hurting for work because they blow me off or give me ridiculous quotes.  These guys were nothing like that!  Breath of fresh air, literally.

Great work done by Mac. He repaired a really bad gas leak for me. He was very respectful of my time. He made me feel safe and comfortable knowing the gas leak was taken care of properly

After looking through all the plumbing pages and Yelp reviews, I felt a little overwhelmed. There were so many options and I wasn't sure who I wanted to do the work on my house. I needed my sewer line repaired-- which is not cheap, by the way. I wanted to make the right decision when it came to this kind of investment. Finally as I went through the list and called Decker Plumbing, they were the most helpful, informative, and experienced. They got to my house 10 minutes early too. My only complaint is not finding them sooner. I have to say they did a great job! I would definitely use them again for plumbing in the future.

My shower randomly started exhibiting horrific shower pressure and the water would only heat up to lukewarm. I was a bit overwhelmed with all of the choices but I remembered a friend had mentioned Decker plumbing so I decided to give them a call and see if they had any ideas on how I could fix this problem. I spoke with Jeff and he was incredibly knowledgeable, but not in a way that was condescending. He helped me understand what had happened that could be causing the problem, and sent someone over to fix in that same day. I haven't ever had to hire a plumber before because I recently started living on my own, but I've heard it can be quite expensive. I was pleasantly surprised by how reasonable Deckers prices were. Will definitely be using them for all future plumbing needs.

My roommates and I came home from happy hour, only to discover a leak in our bathtub. What began as a minor trickle from the faucet soon took a turn for the worse. Water seemed to be flowing from behind the tub wall. After some frantic googling of how to stop tub leak help and darting around our very creepy shed, I shut off the main water supply to the house and called our regular plumber.

Unfortunately, they were not available. Nor were the next two that I called and left messages for. Although I found many tips online for DIY plumbing, I didn't trust myself to not destroy everything accidentally, and I was beginning to feel anxious about leaving it overnight.

My next call was to Decker Plumbing where I spoke to Mac.  He was very warm and professional. He let me know that there is no extra charge with after-hours calls, which I was thankful for since that's not always the case.  He told me that Charles, the technician, would be arriving between 8-9PM and would give me a call when he was en route, which he did about half an hour til 8. I was super appreciative of their promptness all around.

Charles arrived, extremely pleasant and knowledgeable. He was here a little less than an hour and determined that we needed a valve and faucet replacement, but he could stop the leak for the time being and provide us with a patch-up so we could at least turn the water main back on (yay for running water!).  I was impressed by the efficiency and reassured by his support in this situation. We will go faucet shopping this weekend and make an appointment to have them come out and give us a more long-term fix.  Great service - we'll definitely go with them again in the future!

My husband and I recently moved into a new house with extensive plumbing issues. I wish we would have called Decker Plumbing first, unfortunately, we wasted money and time on two other plumbing companies in the area that seemed to create more issues than they fixed. Just when we started to think we moved into the house from Money Pit, a coworker told me to call Decker Plumbing. They were professional and sympathetic to our situation, and sent a plumber out to the house at OUR earliest convenience.

Unlike our previous experience with plumbers, Decker Plumbing came prepared with the equipment needed to fix our leaking kitchen sink on the spot. Also, they were able to repair our garbage disposal (we were told by less experienced plumbers that it needed to be replaced!), and repaired our water heater that had been on the fritz. I highly recommend calling Decker Plumbing FIRST for your plumbing needs. They are quick, courteous, professional and experienced.

I can't express this enough when I say I felt compelled to write a review for Decker Plumbing, especially regarding Jeff. He is so easy to work with and communicated with us the entire time. He made the dreaded process of getting a new water heater a piece of cake!

Before getting the water heater installed, he meticulously took down ALL of our information so we could get the perfect water heater that would fit EXACTLY in the small space we needed.

The install went so smoothly. It is literally the PERFECT fit and it was amazing to see that he was able to get the water heater placed so easily, without any issues.

Jeff made SURE we were happy, that our hot water was working correctly, and that everything was back to normal. He was never rushed and really took the time to make sure everything was done the right way.

Whatever Decker Plumbing has been doing they need to keep doing because they did a PHENOMENAL job and we are more than happy with their service! Thank you Decker Plumbing and mostly Jeff!

Mac installed a gas shut-off valve and hooked-up a gas heater.
While relighting the pilot light on the hot water heater we discovered a small leak. I have him scheduled to come back later this week to install a new hot water heater.

Decker Plumbing was extremely professional, courteous and timely from the first contact over the phone to the last part of the service call.  Jeff was extremely thorough and thoughtful to the point it felt like he was taking care of his own house.  We were told by another plumber that our water heater would need to be replaced.  Jeff fixed the problem and took the time to explain why the water heater stopped working.  I would highly recommend Decker Plumbing and would use them again for any plumbing-related need.

So thankful for the same day appointment Decker Plumbing was able to give me. Most of the companies I called weren't able to come to my house to look at my water heater until the next day or even longer. They quickly repaired my water heater without any problems. They also told me about the warranty process to try and save me some money but I didn't want to wait for the parts to arrive. I was willing to pay whatever the cost to have my water heater fixed that day but what they charged me was fair. Would definitely use them again!

Last Sunday, I found myself unlucky when I woke up to a burst pipe in my backyard. During the freeze I forgot to keep my hose dripping. I was losing up to 12 gallons of water a minute. After going through my usual avenues I stumbled upon Decker Plumbing. The staff agreed to send someone out immediately. Mac was very helpful; he was able to turn off my water and have a new pipe replaced and insulated in just a few hours. Not only have I learned my lesson about preparation for a freeze but I now know who to call next time I'm in a bind.

Over the weekend our 50 gallon water heater sprung a leak.  We did not want to pay overtime or emergency prices from a plumber so we waited until Monday to contact a plumber.  I called the plumber I typically use but they said they only way they could come out before Thursday was to pay the emergency rate.  I called a couple of other plumbers from Yelp and got similar options.  This was until I called Decker Plumbing.

Within a few hours of my call Charlie came out and looked at my hot water heater and confirmed that it needed to be replaced.  This is when we started talking about installing a tankless water heater.  I had been thinking about it but was skeptical.  I did originally want to put either a larger hot water heater or a more expensive, higher efficiency tank.  Charlie then reached out to the owner Mac who is a tankless water heater expert and he was able to come to the house as well and review the options with me.  Mac upon reviewing our hot water needs and the layout of my home was able to give me an estimate for a tankless water heater that would allow for 2 showers and a load of laundry to run simultaneously.  At this point I was sold on going with the tankless option.

The very next day Mac worked tirelessly for almost 7 hours straight to install the unit and we could not be happier.  He cleaned up his work and left no mess and did a great job.  Charlie came back and helped to remove my old hot water heater and they worked to ensure no mess would be left on my carpet as they did so.
The overall price of the unit and installation was certainly higher than just putting another 50 gallon hot water heater but the connivence of never running out of hot water coupled with the energy savings makes it worth it in the long run.  Additionally I had just replaced a cracked expansion tank with another plumber on the Friday prior to all of this and an expansion tank is not needed with a tankless system.  Upon hearing that Mac offered to take the cost I spent on that replacement off my total bill which was very appreciated and unexpected.

The total experience was excellent, from the initial phone call, to the calls & emails telling me when people were coming and to the actual work itself.   I highly recommend this plumber and the tankless option.

These dudes are Auhhhhhmazing. They helped get my garbage disposal working. It hadn't been working for while, and I knew my appointment was long overdue. Jeff was able to repair it and get it working like it was brand spanking new! The only thing I wish I had done different was call them sooner. Thank you guys so much!

Mac was AWESOME! He fit me into his busy schedule and was super nice. I was in panic mode when my hot water heater suddenly stopped working. Mac was quick to make the repair, very professional, cleaned up like he'd never been there, and didn't even mind my dogs trying to play with him while he worked! There is no other plumber I would ever use - worth the call for big jobs or small.

I had no hot water when I woke up on Sunday and realized my water heater started leaking. I called Decker Plumbing and they returned my call within 10 minutes, and had a plumber at the house within the hour. The plumber diagnosed the situation and gave excellent recommendations. He started work around 12:30PM and had the job done before 3PM. This company has a very professional crew whom are experienced and knowledgeable. I will definitely use them again in the future and recommend this company to others.

You never realize how important your garbage disposal is until its broken. While doing the dishes, the dirty sink water started to build up. Naturally, I reached for the garbage disposal to help drain it but instead it was increasing the water build up and not draining. I called Decker plumbing to come help me out and Mac was so great and helpful and gave us some good insight how to keep longevity of the garbage disposal and gave us a list of do's and don'ts. Jeff was EXTREMELY personable and knowledgable. We needed to replace our bathroom faucet and we added water softeners to our showers. He even fixed our dripping kitchen sink at no extra cost. He was very professional and took the time to explain everything to me. We will definitely be using this company again as well as referring him to others!

I needed my garbage disposal replaced--they were very clean and very quick! They really knew what they were doing and it took a short amount of time since there were two guys on the job.

I came into desperate times over the weekend when I came home and discovered my water heater leaking everywhere!! I made a quick call to Decker Plumbing, and I'm so happy I did. Mac was kind and patient over the phone while I was going bananas!  He asked me a series of questions, and we scheduled a time for a plumber to come out later that day.  Amazingly, 45 minutes later I received a call that Charlie was in route.  Charlie was quick and efficient - removing the old water heater and installing the new one.  I would totally recommend this company.

First rate service!!! Gave me phone quote and explained what was included.  Their plumber (Chris) called ahead, arrived on time and did super job.  This guy's a plumbing encyclopedia!!  He had no problem explaining what he was doing and why.  I couldn't have asked for better experience!  Would recommend their work to anyone I know needing plumbing help and would definitely use them again.

I just have to say that Mac and his crew were great!!! When Mac came to give me a free quote to replace some pipes - I told him I was having a problem with my toilet, he took one look and told me what the problem was, what to buy and how to fix it myself. It was simple and the best part there was no charge. I had gotten quotes from other plumbing companies, they were all about the same, but I liked Mac the best. He is honest and knowledgeable. He knew exactly what was wrong with the toilet - other plumbers told me it was something else wrong with the toilet and gave higher quotes. I highly recommend Mac and the guys from Decker Plumbing -  these guys are the real deal. I will use him again to replace my hot water heater in the spring. Thanks Mac and crew!!!!

This company is great! No bad words for them. A plumber showed up extremely fast after I was in contact with the Decker Plumbing. The plumber was very specific about the issue I had explaining to me my whole mechanism had to be replaced. A few other things were diagnosed as well, and everything was repaired within a half an hour of him being there! I would highly recommend this company ANYONE who needs plumbing done.

Map was great. He first explained all of my options and types of available water heaters. No pressure sale. He removed my old hot water heater installed the new one. Mac was friendly professional and did a great job. The cost was less than two other plumbing companies I called. I would definitely recommend Decker plumbing to my friends and family.

A few days ago, I woke up to leaking hot water all over my floor in the morning. This company answered my call (I love that they are available 24 hours a day!), gave me a great quote, explained warranty options to me and didn't charge me extra for coming out late at night. They were very knowledgeable and polite, Not only that, the installer allowed me to watch the entire process so I could learn how to do it myself in the future. Lastly, he cleaned up the entire area after he was done with the installation procedure.
