Best Businesses in Texas

Megawatts Pro, LLC Electrician
We had an outstanding experience with Dustin and his crew. They are punctual, courteous, and were an overall pleasure to work with on our project. Megawatts was one of many vendors we interacted with on our project and they are by far the most reliable with responsiveness, showing up when they say they will and getting the work done in a professional manner. I would not hesitate to recommend them for any electrical work.

Brightside Electrical Electrician
The guys from Brightside were awesome.   We replaced 4 outdoor fans and installed a new kitchen light.  They were on time and went to work immediately.  I have another light that we will install in a couple of weeks and will definitely use them again.

Bear Electric Electrician
Great service, and Scott was super nice. Very communicative up front, arrived when promised, and walked me through all the steps taken to solve my intermittent lighting. Highly recommend!

Lion Group Electrical Electrician
Raymond responded quickly and was very easy to communicate with. He was kind, professional, and knowledgeable. We will definitely continue doing business with Lion Group!

Austin, TX
Tomei Electric Electrician
We had multiple electrical issues throughout the house. These guys got to the bottom of the issues quickly. The repairs were very reasonably priced and they didn't try to sell us on any bigger repairs. They just informed us of our options and let us make the decision as to what we wanted to go forward with at the time.

6400 Fair Valley Trl, Austin, TX 78749
L & R Electrical Contractors Electrician
Had some GFCI outlets in the kitchen go bad-16 years old, so it was time. Louis was able to come out same day, troubleshoot and replace two outlets for $193. Fast service, great value. Can't beat it!  I'd call Louis again for anything electrical at my house!

4917 Lexington Meadow Ln, Del Valle, TX 78617
Raptor Electrical Services Electrician
Alejandro was able to diagnose my issue in a few minutes by phone, which saved an expensive service visit. We really appreciate the help, and will go back to Raptor when we have issues in the future.

6448 Hwy 290 E, Ste c108, Austin, TX 78723
Texas Electrical Connect Electrician
TEC was a great company to work with. Between the six quotes that I got from Yelp, Miguel was the fastest, friendliest, and most responsive person who responded. He came out and did the job fairly quickly and even cleaner than he communicated. The new outlet above our fireplace was a great addition and he made it look seamless. The only issue was that he was about an hour later than he told me he would be, which was a bit inconvenient during our work day.
I would call TEC again first to get a quote or job done.

Twin Oaks Electric Electrician
I used Twin Oaks again for a remodel job installing some pendant lights.  They once again did great work.  I was kept informed along the way and the end result was very impressive.  Highly recommended.

Avery Electrical Services Electrician

Shine On Electric Electrician
Great service and fair pricing.  Will  hire again.  Painless process and he was very punctual about the appointment.

Work looks great.  We replaced an old celing fan.

3 Wire Electric Electrician
Maury is excellent. Called him at first he was unable to help. In a few hours he called back and said he could fit me in his schedule. He said in could come by in about 1 hour. Not only did he show up he was about 15 minutes. I had some huge electrical and he fixed faster than I expected. Their price was very reasonable for the amount of time spent and parts required. We will be using them again and would highly recommend.

Dripping Springs, TX 78620
Handyman Dan Electrician
Handyman came to my door, within 10 hours of my request and had a bathroom light fixture completely replaced and cleaned up within one hour. He was very transparent the entire time. He is also a very personable and respectful guy. He advised me on three other projects, which will ultimately save us 100's of dollars. Ask him how he got the name HandyMan Dan. He was teaching me how to hang light fixtures in the future and sent me youtube videos that will teach me how to replace a hot water cartridge. 5 stars, all the way. If you don't go with Handyman Dan, you are dumb. If the other people had a problem with the service or price, then they either don't get the biz, or they just weren't honest enough to ask him right away.

Austin, TX
Breeze Cooling & Heating Electrician
We would definitely hire Breeze cooling for other projects and recommend to others! Xiaoyu installed several GFCIs in our kitchen and a new garbage disposal switch. He was an excellent communicator, friendly service, and we are very happy with the work he did for a reasonable price.

Austin, TX
All Star Electric Electrician
I highly recommend All Star Electric. They were the first Electrician I spoke that was more concerned about the problem, and tried to troubleshoot on the phone than simply dispatching someone. Instead, they figured out what my problem was over the phone and it was resolved. No expensive diagnostic, just a solution. When I run into an issue in the future, I'll 100% be reaching out to the professionals here at All Star Electric.

5911 Rittiman Plz, Bldg 1, San Antonio, TX 78218
Hart Electrical Services Electrician
Hart Electrical was recommended to me by a friend, and I could not have been happier. Eli was on time, knowledgeable, and very personable. It was easy to bounce ideas with him and it helped me to make better decisions. Further, their pricing is competitive and the work is high quality. I will be recommending them to my friends, and I will be hiring them again for more electrical work in the future. No hesitations!

HF Electric Electrician
Got a few quotes for installing an EV charger in the garage. Different companies provided different solutions ranging from setting up a new 50A circuit from the main line on the other end of the house to pulling in the unused 30Amp dryer outlet. Homer's solution was much more simple to just pull it from the breaker box in the garage. He clarified that at night times when the usage is low, the rest of the house won't need much and I could likely safely pull 50Amp without tripping the breaker. And if I did, he said I could just use the charger at half power instead. Cost a fraction of what the others were quoting. He was able to get it all done the next day, took about 30mins.

Will update the review once I use the outlet for a few weeks.

Austin, TX
Smart Charge America Electrician
Everything was fantastic from start to finish. I needed an outlet for my new EV and ended up using Smart Charge America. They were Tesla recommended in my area along with 4-5 other providers. After submitting for a quote, I received a reply within 24 hours and quote soon there after. They came in with the best quote along with being the most detailed with the process. Day of, our technician Cliff was right on time and installed the outlet in my garage exactly where I wanted it (even included a hook/brackets for my connector). After completion he explained everything and cleaned up any mess made...very professional. I would definitely recommend anyone installing charge ports/outlets for their EV's to use Smart Charge America.

2016 Centimeter Cir, Austin, TX 78754
SALT Plumbing Air & Electric Electrician
A caution regarding an unscrupulous electrical company. I contracted with Salt Light & Electric to fix an issue with a circuit breaker that kept tripping. When the technician arrived, he offered to do a $589 diagnostic or he could do a $280 breaker replacement. He went hard for the expensive diagnostic stating that it would come with a free breaker if it was the problem. I opted to have the breaker changed, thinking that it was the problem. After an inspection revealed that the breaker wasn't faulty, I went ahead with the diagnostic. To my surprise at billing time, I was charged for both, even though the technician said the breaker wasn't faulty. Since I had to sign before ANY work was done, it NEVER occurred to me that I was being double charged. When I contacted the company, I was told that I had paid for the breaker because that is what I signed authorizing them to do. I discovered AFTER the fact that despite telling me there was nothing wrong with the breaker, it was replaced, consequently incurring the charge. Salt Light & Electric not only stood by that decision, but made it a point to say that I had signed to have the breaker replaced, even though their technician determined that it wasn't faulty. The end result is that the experts claim that I determined that a breaker was needed when, in fact, had I opted for the diagnostics, the very first thing they would have done is checked and/or changed the breaker.

Beware of these shady business practices. Even their customer service rep who called me for a follow up was dismissive, rude, and ONLY concerned that everything was by the book, so if I wanted to be upset then so be it!

Steer clear of these folks! They are terrible! My next steps are BBB and social media.
