I am a landlord. My tenant needed a GFI outlet replaced. I asked my tenant how he felt about the service from the folks at Megawatts Pro, and this is what he said:

I had an outlet burn up in my kitchen and had 3 different electricians either not show up or send me outrageous quotes. I contacted Brightside through their website and they responded promptly with a quote that seemed appropriate.
2 guys came out and they were ridiculously fast and thorough! My house was a hot ass mess from Christmas projects and cooking experiments from that week (like I would've NEVER had anybody over looking the way it was) and they didn't even bat an eye having to move crumbs and dishes off the countertops and whatnot. I was asking them a million questions because I had installed a bunch of lights myself and they never replied in a condescending tone or made me feel bad for not hiring a pro. This is really rare and as a female- it's what prompted me to write this review. I own a business and have had to deal with a lot of electricians, plumbers, contractors etc over the years and so many times they treat me like I have no idea what I'm doing or talking about and shame me for attempting to fix anything myself. These guys were the opposite, they explained what caused the outlet to burn (I did not install it, btw haha) and went into great depth explaining all the possible scenarios while troubleshooting the entire picture vs that one outlet. Including my appliances. The entire time they were explaining, they were also working so fast. They did stuff to all the outlets in my kitchen, checked a few in other areas to make sure the problem was only in the kitchen and added a gfci plug in my kitchen... in roughly 30 minutes!! They also suggested an inexpensive device I could buy myself at Lowe's for future projects and to check every outlet in my house. They offered to do it for me but my house is like a construction/project zone and I wanted to get everything put away to be able to get to all the outlets. I bought the device and checked them all myself afterwards and now I'm sleeping soundly knowing the problem was contained in the kitchen.

Additionally- they showed up wearing masks and didn't try to take them off or fiddle with them the entire time. I was really grateful for that.

I'll feel so excited to finally have an electrician I can depend on for future projects at home and my business. Especially a team of them who seem to really care and aren't lallygagging around in an attempt to charge you the most money.

Scott is really professional, responsive, and accommodating! We needed to have someone install an outlet next to the toilet, and we sent out the inquiry to multiple electricians, he was the quickest to respond and was knowledgeable and informative on our follow up questions. After we set up the appointment, I had to change it due to COVID vaccination appointment. He accommodated our request even during the weekend. When he arrived at our house, Scott and his coworker were polite, respectful and got the job done in 30 minutes. We will definitely work with him again for our future projects, also recommend him to our friends.

I had a old chandelier that I needed to have replaced with an upgraded one and I hired the Lion Group for the job. They removed the old one without a hitch and informed me about its condition in case of future installation in the future. The new chandelier had tons of crystals and lights that they painstakingly installed with care. I was also consulted on the chain length so it would not be too low nor to high for my taste. Lastly, they swept the area thoroughly and offered to take out all of the boxing from the new chandelier as a courtesy.

Overall, these guys were top notch to work with and I look forward to hiring them for future projects.

Todd was responsive and extremely helpful with a issue we had with moisture in our system over a holiday weekend. He answered quickly and was able to guide us through the resolution the problem over the phone for no charge. He took the time to explain the situation and let us know everything was OK. Highly recommend giving them a call if you have an electrical issues.

I needed two ceiling fans and a light fixture installed, so I looked around on Yelp for licensed electrical contractors. L&R responded quickly to my request for an estimate and showed up promptly at the time promised. The price was great, and the electricians were very professional. I didn't anticipate one of the ceiling fans being so complicated to assemble, but the electricians put it together in a snap. I'll definitely be using L&R in the future. Thanks!

These guys are awesome! Priscilla scheduled the appointment quickly and was thorough in explaining the pricing and time estimate for the job. Alejandro called to let me know he could come by earlier than scheduled, diagnosed the problem and had it fixed quickly. I have some light fixtures and ceiling fans that I want to replace next year and I will definitely be calling them to take care of it!

Would not recommend. The crew did good job with the initial work, ($6000) but we found out that they cut the wire by accident that causes one of the appliance not working. They came back and confirmed that the wire was cut, but refused to take care of the issue and mentioned that everything was working while they left. They wanted to charged an additional $450 to take care of the issue!

Also, the crew entered my house from the side without my permission!

Dylan and Max installed an outlet and moved a cat6 connection for us. They were very speedy, really friendly, reasonably priced, and super helpful (they even helped re-hang our TV using the newly-installed outlet).

They also answered a lot of questions for us, and gave extremely helpful advice about future projects. Highly recommended!

Was able to contact Travis easily through the app.  He came out gave an estimate and installed my exterior porch light, and was spot on for the charge.  Great job, and will be using again if I need anything else.

We needed help troubleshooting an electrical issue. Jon was at our house within an hour, was very helpful and personable, and  methodically worked through our receptacles (fixing any issues he found along the way) until everything was working smoothly again.

I reached out to Maury to get his help with a couple of repairs that were identified in a home inspection, and could not be more pleased with the service I received. Left him a message on a Sunday, heard back from him on Monday afternoon and he offered to stop by as he was in my neighborhood - gave me a quote over the phone based on a description of the repairs that were needed, so I agreed to have him come out, and he ended-up charging me even less than quoted once he saw the work involved. He was very thorough in explaining what he was doing and why it needed to be done. Between him and Mr Cool I feel so well taken care of, now I just need to find me a good handyman and plumber in the area - anyone? anyone? Buehler?

I tell everyone how GREAT Dan Hoffman is as an all around handyman! For the past three years he has been there for us as my son as moved around Austin pursuing his college degrees. He is prompt, always friendly, very knowledgeable about what he is building, reasonable and just a joy to work with! He has built a bed, chest of drawers, desk, and bedside table and taken them apart and reassembled then each time my son has moved. Will continue to us his services as long as we are in the area!

Xiaoyu was prompt, professional, and friendly. He installed a mini-split in my garage and it went exactly as he said it would for the price he quoted. I would happily do business with him again for any HVAC or electrical work I need.

Amazing service and great price! They put together an intricate hanging light and hung it from the ceiling 2 stories high and replaced my ceiling fan that was also 2 stories high.  Will use them again for sure!

My main breaker was tripped and no other electrician services were available for same day service. Homer was able to come out and did a great job identifying the short circuit in my main panel. He then went to get the materials for me on the same day replacing the entire panel and breakers. Great communication and service! Highly recommended.

Their installation was OK.  They showed up with the wrong charger, didn't have the one we asked for, but only a more expensive one, and then made us pay the price for the more expensive one.  Not a huge difference, so that's not really a big deal.  The charger works fine.  No real problems with it.
However, they will tell you that you are eligible for a federal rebate.  This is a lie.  They are lying.  The vast majority of people who buy a charging station do not qualify for this rebate.  They made it seem as though everyone was eligible, and they put it in the quote when they calculate the total (final) cost of the station to you.
Of course, you won't find out that you are not eligible until you sit down to do your taxes (note the date of this posting)...so by that time, what are you going to do??

Should have checked YELP first! Be cautious to not be misled. I was told on the phone that you pay by project and not by hourly or materials along with separate trip charge. I was good with it. Gentlemen showed up, I explained the problem that the oven hood light kept shorting and one wasn't working. They quoted me a price to fix...half way through they showed me problem was that the light units had some issues but then told me the quote didn't include the parts to actually fix the problem. I said the reason I signed off on the project was everything should be working when completed. I even tried to give them a win-win solution by asking for trip charge refund and would pay the separate quote which was higher than trip charge. Their sales manager refused...so to yelp it is and any other social media forum to educate people to not to trust what their appointment person says.
