EXCELLENT electrician and service.   On time for every appointment, honest, reasonably priced and a great problem solver.   My outside electrical wireing had some shorts somewhere in the yard and they found the problem and fixed quite quickly.   I had previously used different electricians and they wouldn't put in the effort to fix and of course charged me a service fee.  Call Dustin :)

Excellent service and value. I had them out to my shop to install some LED lighting. They showed up EXACTLY on time, did the job right, and charged me a reasonable fee. Highly recommended!

I really appreciate Scott and his quick response!   He was very honest, fare and very trustworthy in the work that he did at my home.   I needed a new plug installed in my kitchen and he did a great job.  We also moved the kitchen plugs for me and put a new plate on.  He diagnosed a problem with an additional plug in the dining room and replaced two outlets.   I was very pleased with Scott throughout the entire process.

Raymond responded to my quote request within literally a minute or two, knew exactly what to ask to determine what they needed in order to quote the job properly, and offered me a same-day appointment for the installation! This company really seems to have their stuff together. I will update this response following the work being completed

Todd and his team at Tomei Electric are the best Austin has to offer.  He was quick to respond, always answered my phone call and did outstanding work for me.  We had to work with the city on permits and inspections and Todd was excellent at communicating and following up. As everyone knows the city is a nightmare but yet again Todd came through for us.

The highlight for me is that he went out on a Saturday night to find an issue with the electrical that we needed fixed immediately.  He messaged me late into Saturday night telling me he found the issue, it was fixed and we were up and running successfully. He is an excellent electrician and even more so a great person.  After all of his excellent work his pricing was extremely competitive to most other electricians I've worked with in the past as well.

Todd and the Tomei Electric team have earned a customer for life. He is a south Austin true gem and I will be referring him to family, friends and colleagues. Thank you again Todd for all your hard work, communication knowledge and expertise. You went ABOVE and BEYOND!

Rosalinda, the boss's wife just emailed me a copy of a really old invoice and then called me and accused me of not paying an invoice from work that was done a year and a half ago. I told her I pay all my bills immediately. She asked well how did you pay us then? I said I don't remember. She has the audacity to reply with an attitude You don't remember? Like I am stupid or something for not remembering something that happened a year and a half ago! Do you remember what you ate for lunch 2 weeks ago? Exactly. Like it's my job to keep receipts for years and years and know off the top of my head how I paid every single vendor in the last two years.

Word of advice if you use these people, make sure you pay them by check, and keep a copy of that check forever. Because Rosalinda may call you two to three years later talking 'bout you owe us money!  

And guess what? If you don't have proof you paid her she can easily put a lien on your house until you finally pay her for something you already paid her for.

Luis and his brothers have helped us through some extremely stressful times. Having peace of mind that things are done right when they leave is worth every penny! They've helped us beyond just electrical services by pointing us in the right direction for other trades when needed.

Miguel went above and beyond in completing our project.  We needed a new electrical line added and coordinated with the delivery and installation of a hot/tub as well as a concrete slab.  He is competitively priced, very knowledgeable, on time, and extremely professional.  I have absolutely no reservations in recommending The Connect to my family and friends alike.

Responsive at getting a quote and prices were super reasonable compared to other electricians I contacted. We had them install a chandelier and 3 pendant lights which look amazing! They also found and fixed an issue that the previous owner of the home created by wiring their own lights which would have been horrible to figure out on our own and it was all fixed really quickly. Great team, highly recommend

Travis and his team were great to work with! He responded quickly, and was able to fit us in same day. They did a great job troubleshooting, and were able to fix our problem within a couple hours.

Additionally, the whole team wore a mask while inside the home and speaking with us, which was appreciated. I would use them again in the future!

They are one of the best people i have dealt with on yelp. They hung this massive chandelier from scratch, including ceiling drill, chandelier put up and electric connections! They had to bring in fork lift as house has 20 ft ceiling!

We purchased 6 acres of raw land a few years ago and took on all of the GC work ourselves. Which of course includes finding businesses to plumb, drill, build and bring in power. Maury has proven time and time again that he has the skills and extensive knowledge required to help with the multiple buildings we have on site. His recommendations have not only saved us money, but have also improved the overall design. I highly recommend this business and the professionalism that Maury brings.

I called on Dan to install shutters throughout our new home on 34 windows. He was upfront with his pricing and delivered a quality installation in a timely manner. Definitely recommend Dan and will use him again.

Contacted Xiaoyu and he got back to me asap. Clear communication and we set up a plan for him to help with my project. He was able to fit me in the next day and install a new mini-split unit. I couldn't be more happy with his work, he is very professional and stays until the work is complete. I really appreciated that he cleaned up after himself (not everyone does). He will be my go to HVAC professional!

Bob came out to fix an electrical problem we ran into while trying to install a new lighting fixture in our dining room. I was running a few minutes late and he called to let me know he was at my house, and was and patiently waiting when I got there. He fixed the electrical wiring and got my chandelier back up properly and was efficient and friendly. Definitely recommend!

A fluorescent fixture in my store stopped working, so I foolishly started to replace it myself. After leaving myself in the dark, I called HF Electric the next morning.
Homer said he would try to work me in to the day, and much to my happiness he and to helpers showed up and fixed my light and some other lights in under an hour.
I can't stress how reasonable the pricing was and what a pleasure to have my day saved.

Clay and Damir did a great job getting the 60 AMP circuit added and ran through our attic and Tesla Charger to our garage. They even installed it in a way that made it easy to move around the storage rail that I already had mounted.

Weather created a bit of an issue in that it started to rain pretty heavy shortly after they started. They went ahead and got everything they could safely do, done. They scheduled a follow up appointment the next day and Clay and Rachelle came to complete the job once the weather cleared up.

We walked through the setup for the charger once he was done and he made sure our garage and the work area were really clean.

Overall great communication and timeliness.

When I set up my appointment I was informed there was a $79 fee to come out but they said they couldn't possibly provide even a rough quote to install a chandelier and outdoor fan. I was skeptical but figured their pricing would be reasonable. The technician arrived today and using and showing me their standard pricing book quoted me an outrageous $700! The rep on the phone could have easily used their standard pricing book to give me a minimum quote to expect but instead stole my money.

I've already scheduled another appointment with a different company who waves their fee to come out (only $49 not $79) for first time customers and was able to assure me they could do it for $300 - $350 HALF OR LESS THAN WHAT SALT LIGHT TRIED PRICE GOUGING ME FOR!!

I've filed a BBB complaint. Definitely stay away from this company if you don't want to get ripped off.
