I had a tricky wiring problem in my old, old house. Robert spent many hours to find and fix the problem. Also Robin went out of her way to work with me on the billing, and also to work with my not-so-easy-to-deal-with insurance plan. I would recommend them to anyone!

I contacted Brian to bid on an electrical job recently. Brian was easy to get a hold of, returned calls promptly, and provided my requested quote and information in a fast and efficient manner.  
While I ended up choosing another contractor for the job due to their proximity to the service location, I would not hesitate in utilizing Brian's services in the future if I have additional electrical contracting needs.

Always on time!  Clean, sober and professional!  The installation was flawless and they cleaned up after themselves before they left for the day.   I appreciated Trey's dedication and speedy service when all of the other electricans failed to return my phone calls.

I went with Lykos for several reasons. They offer weekend hours and they were upfront about possible costs and repairs over the phone. This is great to help one with planning and budgeting.

The serviceman that helped fix our AC unit was Martin and his son. Martin was quick to respond and communicated throughout the process of arriving, potential repairs, and explained what the issue was. They made sure I saw that the unit was working before they left.

They were also friendly and professional. You can tell they took the time and thoroughness to do their work. They in no way rushed the process at all.

Overall, strongly recommend and will be happy to hire them again in the future for AC/Heating servicing.

Mr. Walton of Walton Electrical Services is a very knowledgeable and skilled electrical professional. This is the second time I've worked with this gentleman and this company is the only company I will hire and/or recommend whenever electrical work is involved. His prices are very reasonable and his work is always neat and completed within a timely fashion. He is punctual and sets proper expectations, unlike most contractors. We had Jarrod with Greenlight come out and bid a complete re-wire on our little east Austin home, which had aluminum wiring on the point of failure (several blown outlets). He had been recommended to us by the folks who put in our ductless split AC system (Green Air Conditioning & Heating - Seamus: another great person and business). Jarrod was right on time with our schedule, and even though he wasn't the cheapest bid, he was the only person who would give us an actual bid, and not just a verbal guesstimate and an hourly rate. He also added a few extras (pendant lights and W/D outlets) for a really good price.

Once we figured out exactly what we wanted to have done (where all the outlets and exterior lights would go) he and his other electricians came by and did everything very quickly and cleanly. We had our breaker box replaced, the lines to the house moved from the eaves to through-the-roof (well above the driveway), new copper wiring throughout, brought everything up to modern code, and added a few new circuits (W/D, dishwasher).

All of this was done with the proper permitting and good humor about it... and I can't tell you how important that was for us . Even when there was a little hiccup with the City  -- they freaked us out by saying that we had to get a building permit because he'd cut a channel in the drywall to replace the wiring -- Jarrod went to the Board of Adjustments and got it all straightened out very quickly  (basically, the person he'd asked was misinformed, and the BOA said we did not need a building permit).

The final electrical inspection went off without a hitch and we passed with flying colors. The inspectors (rough-in and final) complimented his work and said that we wouldn't have any electrical worries with the house with the new setup.

We should mention here that one of us is an electrical engineer, and the other is a City of Austin employee, so our standards for having work done (and done to code) are pretty high. Jarrod not only met those standards... he exceeded them.   Now, we can sleep at night without worrying that we're going to burn to a crisp in our beds. We are very happy with the services we received from J & Co. A bad storm hit our neighborhood a couple of weeks back and we lost partial power to our home. Long story short, the local power company determined the panel had been struck by lightning, and a electrician would need to be called out to replace it entirely due to the age of the panel. I contacted J & Co. and spoke with Josh. He was able to get out to our place within 10 minutes, looked over the issue, and had the parts in stock to take care of the panel same day. He also went the extra mile of helping me call the power company back out to turn off the electricity while he made the repairs, and then called them again to turn it back on afterwards. Because of Josh's speedy response, we were able to prevent the food in our fridge from spoiling and we did not go very long without AC. Many many thanks Josh for all your help. If we ever have a problem in the future, I know who I will be calling!

I thought I could install an automatic light switch timer myself - until there was a flash and a bang and the power went out... It was Saturday morning on Memorial Holiday weekend and I went to Yelp.

Several places were closed and I happened upon Windy Hill; they were open. I called...and Doug answered! I explained my situation and I heard a sigh, followed by, Unfortunately I'm booked up for today and through next Tuesday. I asked if he knew anyone else. He said not off the top of his head since it was the holiday weekend. He then asked what my problem was. I explained and, after a pause, he asked where I lived. I said Cedar Park. Another pause. He said give him a couple of hours and he'll try to come round later.

Doug called back two hours later, saying he was done with his appointments, and asked if I still needed help. I did. I'm a landlord, only visiting for the weekend, and couldn't leave the house like this - the tenants couldn't get in or out. Doug said he'd be there in 20 mins. He was.

He quickly diagnosed the problem (amateur-hour on my part!!) and fixed it within an hour. He could have gouged me on the pricing, due to my circumstances, but I felt his price was reasonable.

I was/am very grateful to Doug - he put himself out to help a fellow person in distress, and this is the kind of service I love to see. I highly recommend him and will be using him going forward for my electrical needs. Thanks Doug!

I had an exceptional experience with Greg! He was prompt to come give me a quote and quick to schedule install. He installed recessed can lights for our backyard patio and we love it! Not to mention his pricing is great too!

I needed custom LED lighting put in my Condo they did an amazing job. They also installed a charging station for my Tesla in no time. Super friendly professional Great Service!

the one bad review is probably a scam ... there isn't better integrity and attention to detail and knowledge and skill than Kubelka Electric.

I first saw Scott Breen's list of Kudos on Nextdoor. I reached out to him about a good sized project I had here. I needed a brand new service, meter, 200amp breaker panel and two 3-1/2 ton heat-pump with emergency back-up's connected. I was not only blown away with the efficiency of the crew, I was also very impressed with their level of professionalism. Every member of the team (and there were about 5 of them over the two days) were very polite and had great attitudes. I will indeed be using them again for other projects I have going forward as they are now my Go To for electrical work. And I must add, before they left they scoured the area both inside and outside the building and left absolutely no trash whatsoever. Great job Scott, you are running a class act....

I had a leak coming through my ceiling.  Shutoff valve was corroded and I could not turn off the water.  My wife called Efficient AC , Dallas and Eddie were here in 20 minutes...  They turned my water off and identified where the leak was coming from.  Top notch response, they could have not been nicer and more professional!

A great response and saved me much trouble. I highly recommend them. They gave me a quick diagnosis over the phone and were spot on.

Dan was great. Called him to install vertically lifting kitchen cabinet door hinges/supports and to reseal the bathroom glass door seals. Came and gave an estimate before starting the work, which is great. The job took a lot longer than expected, but that was because I requested some extra work and also because he went above and beyond in really getting out the old seal and cleaning before putting on the silicone. Because the job took a lot longer, it cost more than the estimate, but was willing to meet halfway. Recommended!

Called Tejas Electric for a few simple jobs and a few quotes on future work.  The had an opening within a week and I scheduled the visit.  Wade (Owner) called and asked if he could come a bit early, which worked out great for me.  He was super personable and immediately identified what needed to be done, and to my surprise, it was an easier (and less expensive) job than I had thought.  He installed a ceiling fan and new switches that used a separate control for lights & fan.  It took him maybe 40 mins and it was working and looking great.  I also had him install another switch in our Master.

We are thinking of adding a hot tub out back in the next year and he walked me through what it would take, the best path, and pricing.  All of it made sense and the quote was fair.  He also provided suggestions for some other small projects I wanted done (more exterior outlets in the brick siding) that would make them easier and save some money.
