Keith performed the testing of my backflow prevention assembly. Keith was on vacation, but he answered my call and booked the service right after getting back. He called me an hour before the scheduled time, arrived on time, and completed the testing in just 15 minutes. I recommend Keith for his professional service, excellent communication, and great value.

We have used Plumb Medic in the past and Shawn has always done exceptional work.  Recently, Shawn came out to take care of a clogged pipe.  Not only did he unclog the pipe, he also took the time to find out the cause.  He was thorough in his work and very courteous.  I would highly recommend Shawn.

The receptionist, Stephanie was knowledgeable and calming and very clear about pricing and expectations. She scheduled us for a time with two plumbing specialists and they arrived promptly. They were familiar with the job needs when they came onsite and adapted to minor nuances as necessary. Dan & Mark were both courteous and respectful. Mark worked efficiently and silently and went above and beyond with our expectations. If we weren't moving from the area, we'd keep them in our phone book for each and every call, big or small!

Jeff and the entire team are extremely professional and very competent. There prices are competitive. We've had them do four jobs so far: Whole house humidification. Sump pump system advice and replacement and the gas portions of a whole house generator. We've also used them for a very simple drain cleaning.

They ALWAYS are on time, they do exactly what they say they will, they take care of your house (drop cloth's, shoe covers etc) and they do high quality work.

Had some initial difficulty getting an appointment because of an odd situation where the problem occurred while we were out of town.

Once we worked that out they came out and fixed the problem. The owner kept in touch by text message which I appreciate.

The plumbers are here as I'm typing this review. A gentleman named Harold came out this morning. I explained the issues I'm having-my toilet is constantly running or gurgling or making dripping noises in turns and there is some water damage on the ceiling of the second floor bathroom that is likely originating from the third floor bathroom. He says that it's likely not a plumbing issue but poor tile work which is causing water to slowly leak down from my third floor shower. He said caulking around the tub will likely fix that which I can do myself. As for the toilet, he quoted me $240 (which allegedly included a discount). I figured OK that's more than I thought it would be but fine. When the two men came to fix the toilet they were polite. When they went to fix the toilet, they told me that I should replace the parts in the tank as well to stop the constant running. I asked whether that was what I had already contracted and paid for them to do. They said no and that it'd be an additional $85 to do the work. I called the company to get an explanation and was told I would need to pay the additional money. I feel hustled and angry. I'm allowing them to fix the problem at the additional cost because I can't afford to take another morning off of work to have this taken care of. They seem to know their trade and hopefully their work resolves the issue. Be wary if you use their services. Make sure you know exactly what you're paying for them to fix before you sign any papers.

I called about 10 plumbers today for a big
Leak we had at the office. I found Nichols plumbing and gave it a shot. I called their office and a woman named Stephanie answered, she was extremely polite and helpful she told me that they would be out to my office in 20 minutes. I heard that earlier from a different plumber and they never showed up. 20 minutes later a Nichols truck pulled up and the guy came up to me very friendly I pointed him in the direction of the issue and he immediately got to work and told me not to worry about anything. Within an hour or so he was done and the job was completed perfectly. Their prices are very reasonable especially for a last
Minute emergency type situation. I am very satisfied with how they conduct business and how they do work. Thank you again and will recommend and use again.

Due to some extenuating issues,  I need help getting to the door to let anyone in. I explained that to the woman who answered the phone.  She was wonderful & accommodating. She said she would look into it & get back to me. Sure enough,  she kept her word. 5 thumbs up for customer service. This morning,  the tech arrived on time, got down to replacing the leaking garbage disposal. He cleaned up completely. A very kind person,  with double masks. I would definitely recommend them & use them again.

They never called me back!  So after waiting 24 hours, I called a different plumber who answered the phone and came out immediately.

The tech was on time explained everything  so I could understand !!! Was very professional did an excellent job and would recommend him again

I have a defective sewer lateral write up from the city. The repair job involves a lot of street digging before the pipe can be replaced. I am so glad to have found Bart Emanuel & Son for the job. Joe and his crew definitely have the experience, tools and equipment to get the job done right, and their cost is very reasonable and affordable. Highly recommended.

I wrote a review approximately three weeks ago about charges that were exorbitant for some work done on my heater.  The charge for draining my hot water heat system and then refilling was $509.  I was also charged $1738 for parts that I found online for $254.  The service was prompt and courteous but the price was far too high.
I called to express my concerns and was promised a call back by a manager.  In three days I did speak to a manager who listened to my concerns and gave me a refund of $500.  At this point I don't know if I can afford to deal with Horizon.
I still have the service plan but will check pricing before having Horizon do any work for me.

Knowledgeable guy and seems nice enough but he totally ripped me off knowing I'm a young homeowner. Here are the prices he charged me in case you're wondering if he's an honest businessperson:

$500 to replace a bathroom faucet
$200 to replace a shower head (I know nothing about plumbing; he could have told me I could easily do it myself)
$225 to replace a fill valve in the toilet

If you care at all about getting a fair rate, look elsewhere.
