Mr. Rooter Plumbing of Delmarva Plumbing Service
My garbage disposal needed to be replaced.  Alex took out the old one and installed a new one I had already purchased. He was very friendly and knowledgeable.  The job was done in no time at all.

Steve Bright Handyman Plumbing Service
I found Steve on a Saturday afternoon while scrolling through Yelp out of desperation when my mom had a home-related issue that needed immediate attention. Steve came through and more. He listened to my concerns and showed up within the hour to help my mom. He was polite and helpful, and even followed up with me after he left my mom's place. My mother said she will be using Steve in the future whenever she needs a handyman.

Bob bell plumbing Plumbing Service
I've been looking for an honest old-fashioned plumber who does the job you want done.
Bob's knowledge of plumbing exceeds anything I could've ever expected from a plumber at his rates. The savings that I experience with Bob allowed me to get a little extra work done without going over budget and I would believe anyone would appreciate that.
If you need a plumber from simple to sophisticated this is the guy you need!

S & J Plumbing Plumbing Service
Jason is a pleasure to work with-- I had called him after getting his coupon in the money mailer bc I was afraid that I had a major problem with my toilet.  He was on time, showed me his plumbing license, and spent a lot of time with me, Answering all of my questions.  Luckily, the problem wasn't a problem after all.   He is also not the kind of plumber whose gonna charge you an arm and a leg, which I really respect and appreciate in this day and age. Now I know in the future, who to call, if and when there is a problem! He also rescues dogs and other animals, which to me, is a win win. I would recommend him to anyone.

Good Plumbing Htg & A C Plumbing Service
Buyer beware!  I've been a happy customer of Good for over 15 years.  Their people are awesome to deal with, very professional and do a great job.  Here's the problem, in this tough economic climate, they are charging for time to and from your residence, a gas fee, plus a $55 dispatch fee!  I was charged $155 for 45 minutes of work.  I wish someone bought me gas and paid me for my time to drive to and from work.  Bye bye Good, it's been nice knowing you.  (also charged $189 for a valve I could have bought on Amazon for $127)

Lucas Ltd Plumbing Service
I called Lucas on Sunday 25, 2017 because I had low water pressure and I thought no hot water.  Steve was in my home for an hour and a half to find out what the problem was.  It was found that I had a well problem and I subsequently called my well company to fix the problem.   Steve had to rewrap my hot water heater with insulation, but did no repairs other than that. He charged me $390.00 for the above service.  I checked the charge with a friend in the business and was told that I paid TWICE the amount which should have been charged. I was given a yellow carbon copy of the bill which was illegible because of the hand writing. I called the owner, Joseph Lucas, explained that I could not read the bill and requested a legible itemized bill with what was done and the charge for each service provided. He was unable to do that and refused to comply with my request. I am a VERY long time customer, but now would NEVER recommend this company to others. They practice OUTRAGEOUS overcharging as has been described by others on this site! Don't be robbed, stay away! There are plenty of good and honest Plumbers locally.

Bukowski Plumbing Plumbing Service
Customer service is lacking with this company.  I spoke to an older man who gave me an estimate.  When I called the next day to get more info. and to clarify some things on the estimate he was rude to me and hung up on me.  I was prepared to hire them to do the work in my home, but I decided to go with another company, because I don't give my money to people with no customer service skills, and you shouldn't either.

Walsh & Son Plumbing Service
Joe went above and beyond when our tankless water heater broke. He came out right away, and quickly identified the issue. He came back the next day to install the part and our water issues were solved! The price was fair, and Joe was an absolute pleasure to deal with. Not only did he fix our issue, but entertained as he went. I would recommend Joe to anyone in the Philadelphia area.

Pafumi Services Plumbing Service
As luck would have it, our water heater sprang a leak the day before our house was scheduled to go up for sale. Pafumi replaced it on very short notice; we called them in the morning, explained that we were moving out and had just listed the house, and they came out a couple of hours later. The workers were pleasant, professional and did a good job. We knew their rate was higher than most, but since we were ready to leave the state we felt the quick response made it a fair trade-off.  BUT .... cut to 6 weeks later: we've moved to No. Carolina, have a buyer for the house, and closing is a week away. Our realtor meets the certificate of occupancy inspector at the house and at some point he asks about the permit on that new water heater. She calls us to inquire about it, and I'm dumbstruck. I called Pafumi to ask if they'd applied for a permit, and the lady says indignantly, OH no, we don't do that. That's on you, that's on the homeowner. I said no one had even suggested to us that we'd need to apply for a permit after the installation, and asked if they normally mention that detail to their customers. She said, again with what sounded like a lot of attitude, I know I don't, and I don't think my techs do either. Like I said, that's on YOU! I suggested that they might want to mention it in the future, since water heater permits/inspections are evidently required, and she replied Most people don't want to bother with them anyway. Huh? I don't WANT to bother with it, or to pay taxes either, for that matter, but it's the law! And now we're living 10 hours away and can't sell our house without that missing permit. I explained the situation to her and she did get somewhat more helpful at that point. She offered to ask Mr Pafumi to fill out the paperwork, but said it wouldn't be till 'at least Monday' (it was Friday afternoon). The clock was counting down on settlement, so I called the permit office to see if I could do anything to get the process underway but they told me that until the contractor fills out 'the jacket', there's nothing the homeowner can do. So obviously even if we'd known about the need for a permit, Pafumi had to initiate the process. The whole mess would've resulted in a postponed closing if it wasn't for our incredibly resourceful realtor, Lynn Stambaugh at Cardinal Realty, who met Pafumi at their office door first thing Monday morning, hand-carried the application to the W. Deptford code office, begged/pestered/cajoled and somehow got it processed, paid for, inspected and approved in record time, and then coaxed the CO inspector back to the house to reinspect on the very last business day before settlement. Of course the water heater did pass inspection; like I said, the workers had done a good job and they did it quickly. Hence the two stars here instead of one, which is what I feel the company really earned by playing dumb about the need for permits, and adding a ton of down-to-the-wire tension to what was already a stressful situation.

Horizon Services Plumbing Service
Final update...  Horizon has made good on their promise to remedy the situation. My mother is very pleased with the outcome. Although the experience was rocky at first, Horizon is a stand-up company that will ensure customer satisfaction. We're thankful to Horizon for the positive outcome!

Update... Horizon has been in contact with my Mother and has pledged to remedy the situation. I applaud their attention once the issue was escalated. We are now waiting to be sure they deliver on their promises.

Do not use Horizon! My Mother contracted Horizon to fix a leak in her bathroom. They told her it was the toilet and charged her $800 to replace the toilet. A few days later the leak continued. My Mother called Horizon again and this time the told her it was the soil pipe in her first floor wall. They replaced the PVC piping with Fernco couplings but placed the clamps on the outside. Then they tell her they can't close the wall and will need to bump it out. The cost to replace the line was $2,500. So now my Mom is in for over $3k and has a wide open wall and a huge amount of stress and anxiety. I feel Horizon has taken advantage of my 73 year old Mother. And now they tell her the can't come out for a week. Unacceptable service and terrible craftsmanship. My Mom has now hired a private contractor to repair Horizon's mistakes. Don't believe their commercial hype!!! They are poor quality and poor service hacks!

Did work for us two years ago. Horrible horrible work. Guy did not know what he was doing. Said he come back to fix the problem never did. Billed us and when we called company to get them to finish the job they stopped taking our calls. Then sent us to collections. Never had us sign off in the job or give us a receipt.

Affordable Plumbing Plumbing Service
If this is affordable plumbing with mike, then they are the best.  i have rehabbed tons of houses and worked with dozens of plumbers, and they are the best.  their prices are good.  they are professional.  and they communicate in a clear manner.

mike is a busy owner, what do you expect with their service and prices . . . . but he always communicated with me in a timely manner and always performed what he said he was going to do.

all his workers are very good.  will continue to use them in the future.

Mr. D's Drain Cleaning & Plumbing Service Plumbing Service
If I could give zero stars I would ...a little back story ..
So I called in to have a job done , replace a curb stop the women on the phone sends me an estimate/contract to my email and it don't look right so I call back and explain again what is needed and she tells me that a curb box install includes a curb stop shut off valve .... not working here or being a plumber myself I take her word at face value and have to assume she knows what she is talking about .after calling 3 times to confirm. Boy was I wrong , so the 2 guys pull up on a Saturday morning over an hour late by the way appointment was 9-10 they show up at 11.
They don't have the parts to do the job on his truck .
He calls his boss and the order is wrong as I try to explain what I was told he gets an attitude with me like I wrote the order wrong .and tells me it's gonna be $500 more
So the short end is shit customer service , that can't keep an appointment and gives u an attitude instead of fixing the problem their staff caused
The guys that came out were cool and apologetic but over all this company is the worst . I would not recommend them for anything ...
