It's hard to find a good plumber.  I have been using enviro safe for over ten years.  The staff is friendly and knowledgeable.  They even repair and paint the drywall when it has to be opened up.  
They know my system and always manage to solve the problems that come with a large older house.
I know the technicians by name and trust them implicitly.

Its 11:15pm and Roland and Tauhid just left.I had a kitchen drain thats been clogged for weeks and Roland and Tauhid came in and had my kitchen drain back to normal in no time..he even did a little extra work with no charge..Please call these guys and dont do like I did initially and had some jack leg come and tell me a bunch of bull and only fix the problem for a day

Went to get the mail and noticed water coming from the vent in the sidewalk had everything replaced from the house to the curb 10 year's ago so figured it was clogged.  Called Joseph at 11:18 and he was curbside by 12:42 quoted me $175 on the phone. He came out and plunged the vent and was unsuccessful at clearing the problem and made arrangements to have a another person snake the vent and he spent about 2 hours trying and still had a problem clearing the blockage. Then he went and checked my neighbors vents on both sides of me and found the same thing water in the vents winds up it's the main sewer with the problem so now I have to wait for the city to get the problem solved but money well spent I don't have to worry about some fly by night plumber telling me that I need to have the lateral replaced costing me thousands of dollars and I can get the money I spent back by filing a claim with the water dept. Very professional courteous and a man of his word and quote. I now have a new plumber. Thanks Joseph!

These guys are the absolute best! My heater broke and they came out and had it replaced in a day during a terrible snow storm. They are so friendly and very informative of what's going on. So professional and I highly recommend them for heating and plumbing.

Love these guys. I have not had a problem with them in 5 years. They have come out for numerous emergencies and fixed every one. Their prices are reasonable and have always been friendly and accommodating.

The gauge on our boiler had been broken for a while. Bill was very communicative and responsive to my husband's inquiries. On the day of our scheduled service, two workers under Bill came on time and worked on replacing the gauge. They did a great job at answering all of our questions and went above and beyond in their service. We are so grateful that we found Bill of East Falls Plumbing.

I called attilio cause my heat stopped working they were supper professional about it and was at my house in under a hour!! Josh came out and hooked us right up and had us back up and running in no time thank you guys for your quick response and help..

I do not recommend Thompson plumbing.

I purchased a home in Fairmount and Thompson provided prompt service with the removal of the sink so that the painters could complete their work. The commode was removed by others and a new floor was installed.


The new floor installation required significant additional work to be performed by Thompson so that the toilet could be seated properly to the flange as well as the sink attached to the wall.

There continues to be an issue with that toilet. I called Vince yesterday discussing this issue - and despite spending $1200+ of Work on two different occasions, since it was past his 30 days... we were told that we had to pay since this issue was different than the previous issues.  When a toilet gets reinstalled, you would expect that the plumber may make additional recommendations so that issues do not continue such as when the toilet tank was re-installed, new rubber gaskets and/or washers   should have been installed as well. Had I known that these should have been installed /replaced I would have recommended so that it could've probably been done st minimal cost while under the same service call for the installation of the toilet. This would prevent leaking and a future service call fee.

When I called Vince to ask what can be done so that we don't have to call every other month, his response was you're always going to have some sort of problem...

I realize that parts wear out. However, when an installation or re-installation is done, proper methods should be performed. A test of all parts should be performed so that if in fact a part looks faulty, it should be replaced/repaired at that time of service rather than require another service call.

Vince responded to the email saying that it was not in his scope of the job nor was it authorized to make the other repairs and it is considered a new job.

Unfortunately I am looking for a new plumber if anyone has any recommendations.

Assume that any plumber can do the work.  But getting them to return a call and show up has been a challenge.  McLoughlin, they answer the phone, commit to a time and show up when they say.  They were running late so called to explain (no complaint here about that....if a plumber was at my house and ran into  something unexpected I would be upset if they left mid job to be on time for their next appointment.  Wouldn't you?) As I expected the job was simple which the guy (Bob) could have done blindfolded - nothing unexpected, so all was good.
The differentiator here was that their plan seems to be based on the idea that the person they send represents the Company.  Bob, was a good guy and very did a good job of explaining the repair (replacing a pressure reducing valve), what the valve did, expected life of the valve, and the effect of the bad valve on my homes plumbing.  Plus all of the standard stuff like warranty and so one.  He also reviewed pricing before the job for my approval.  Post job he summarized what he did, showed me the job and inspected everything with me before I signed off.  Good plan and excellent job by Bob.  Good example of hiring the right people and the idea that the person you send does more than just complete a task.  They represent you and how they do that makes , or breaks, your business.  Again, good job and thanks.

Last night was had leak which I thought was a cracked pipe. My wife called Victor James. The person walked her through the steps to figure out if this was an emergency or not. With her help the on-call plumber figured out the leak was not threatening. We had a short window this morning on when someone would be here. Jim showed up before the time given and he quickly diagnosed the problem and fixed it within an hour! Low and up front pricing. Courteous associates. Fast and reliable service. I 100% recommend Victor James as the best plumbers in town.

Called them up, came out within the hour and cleared the clog in my sink. Service was quick and professional!

Not certain how my last review has vanished but somehow, it did.
I'll warn everyone. BAIT & SWITCH. Enough said.
