Best Plumbing Services in Pennsylvania
We have used Gasparovich Plumbing for close to twenty years. Can't say enough about this guy.
Dependable and honest as the day is long. He's the go-to guy for Stanford Court Condominiums and counts many residents as his customers. He told me he hasn't had to advertise in over 20 years.

Proudfoot came in to our house, quickly diagnosed the problem and fixed it. Two guys that were very kind and knowledgeable. Paperless transaction - they had an iPad allowing for seamlessness from ordering the parts to signing the bill. Seems like they were on top of it in every aspect of their business. Would definitely recommend their services!

BEWARE! THE ABSOLUTE WORST!!! DISHONEST, UNRELIABLE, RUDE AND UNPROFESSIONAL!!!
He no-showed after low bidding a sewer liner repair for me. His bid was approx $1,000-1,500 less than two other reputable plumbers. Unfortunately, the bank crediting me for the repair (in negotiating a home purchase), chose his bid-since it was by far the lowest.
He strung me along for months, promising to do the work, then eventually stopped returning my calls/texts. I had to scramble to find another plumber, and had to pay a reputable plumber hundreds of dollars (out of my own pocket!) to make up the difference from what the bank credited me and his low-ball offer. I almost received thousands of dollars in fines from the Township for not having the work completed on time.
At one point he showed up unannounced, 2 months later, when I wasn't even at home, pretending he was going to start the job-after I had already cancelled him and scheduled another plumber (I imagine in an attempt to protect himself from a lawsuit). He claimed he then broke his camera on rocks in my sewer while doing an inspection, so now he could not do the job! Rocks that weren't there weeks before, when the dye test was done, but mysteriously appeared when he showed up. He was rude to my neighbors when they asked who he was and what he was doing-then took off in a hurry leaving them to clean up the rocks everyone believes *he* planted there.
He claimed he didn't have a replacement camera (most plumbers have 12) and that it would take 2 weeks(!) for the camera to be repaired (past the deadline for the work to be completed without fines). When I offered to wait the two weeks (just calling his bluff, not actually planning to use him at this point) he THEN claimed he didn't have the money to get the camera fixed- after he'd already told me it was in the shop being repaired!
He actually acted like he was doing me a favor by not charging me for the camera he supposedly broke on the rocks in my sewer.
I found out that he is considered a joke who does this all the time: low bids to get the job, over books and then cancels or no-shows last minute. Do yourself a favor and use Matt Mertz, who I highly recommend.

Called because we had a backup within the house. Called and the gentleman that answered the phone was very nice. He said within an hour somebody would be there. 20 minutes later Sean pulled in. He was very nice and friendly. He explained what he was gonna do before he did it. Also told us the price and here would be a jump in the price of he had to use bigger tools. Thanks for the great work. We will be calling in the future for further problems!

Very nice people but way way way over priced $1200+ to replace the existing toilet plus a $79 fee for them to come out for an estimate ( cause most people will turn them down for service due to overprice)..folks lowes $400 for toilet and install with year warranty

We only found these guys because their sticker was on our water heater inherited from previous owners. When it died, we called Mitchell and they were able to send someone that day to diagnose and quote prices on new ones (the old one was beyond its expectancy). While they were here we had them take a look at our kitchen faucet. They gave us a different, cheaper, and easier diagnosis than a previous plumber had. Best part: it fixed the problem when they came out to do it a few days later.

I am a new customer of Frew (Ohio River Blvd in Emsworth), and I cannot be happier with their service. Recently, my husband and I had some sewage backup in our basement. First, we called one of the big-name plumbers...BIG mistake! We were given a quote of $7000 to dig up our basement and replace a sewer line-which they said we had to do. Luckily, we didn't sign them and I called Frew, recommended by a fellow plumber who could not do the job himself. Spoke to the owner of Frew and he came to the house to check it himself, already questioning the work of this big-name company. Anyway-long story short-thanks to the HONEST work of Frew, we saved at LEAST $7000 (bc I know big-name plumber would have told us we needed to repair something else), and turns out, we did not need to replace our sewer line after all! If you want honest, professional, and personal service, call the guys at Frew. Great team. And the owner is still helping us in writing to the BBB about this big-name plumber.

Michael was just out at my house to service my furnace. He could not have been nicer and more professional. I am not very savvy when it comes to furnaces but he answered a few questions I had. Could not recommend this company enough.

I've worked with jimmy Cohen for over two years & I can say without a doubt, he's the consummate professional. He's knowledgeable, dependable, and his prices are fair. He's always looking out for a customer's best interest. If you have a plumbing or heating issue, call jimmy.

We had a leaking stack. A prior plumber came to have a look and didn't take much interest in the job. So we turned to Brickhaas on the basis of solid reviews. Don from Brickhaas came out to maintain our HVAC and also did a free consult. He recommended CleanUp remediation service for opening up some wall space and to deal with any mold. CleanUp was terrific, making every effort minimize more drywall damage than was necessary. Don then returned and fixed the stack in a few hours. We appreciated how he worked in a very small space to get a new ABS pipe installed. Our bathtub is finally back in business and the repair was far less costly than we feared. On the basis of this experience we also had Don fix a leaking toilet. On top of being professional, reasonably priced and skilled, Don and his crew were very friendly. We are extremely happy with Brickhaas and will continue to turn to them for our plumbing and HVAC needs.

Our home was built in 2012. They did the plumbing for the house including the Radon pipe. In March of last year we had the radon fan put in as a precaution for when we finish the basement. Yesterday I noticed water coming from the insulation behind the radon pipe. The issue wasn't there before, however, condensation won't form inside the pipes until that fan was installed. All the water seems to be coming from the pipe joints which would mean they were never properly glued. I asked them to come out and check because of what I saw and to do it at no cost due to the fact, that assuming I'm correct about the joints, it's shoddy work that caused the issue. I was told they charge $125 an hour, and, even if I'm right and the joints weren't properly glued that it's out of warranty anyway.
So to recap, if something is their fault - they charge you for it anyway. I wasn't even offered them coming out to check and if they see I'm right a fix at no charge, but if I'm wrong I'm charged. That I would've understood. Instead it was even if it was our fault it's out of warranty anyway. They clearly don't stand by their work so I'll be having another plumber I can trust come and check it out.
Despite what my profile on here states, I don't live in CA - I live in PA.

Just replaced 40gallon water heater in 2 hours this morning. I discovered WH broke prior evening. Call 24 hour number. Told Scott it could wait until am, as it stopped leaking. ( He asked if it was under control) Said we would be first on the am list and we were. Price as quoted. Pretty Clean repair and connections. 2 man crew. Nice guys. We have used them for past furnace installation and maintenance. Good service.

I recently had Always... come out to do a preventative maintenance on my furnace and to unstop a clogged drain.
I thought that the guy that came out was pretty knowledgeable, I would have asked him to do major repairs. The drain definitely works much better now and he even gave me some advice on what to do to keep it working better.
The preventative on the furnace really didn't seem like he did too much just clean the motor.
Some bad things: I really feel like I was overcharged, the service call alone is 70$ without doing a thing. They were supposed to return my call a day earlier than they did. Also they were supposed to get back to me with a quote for more work and they still haven't (a week later). Also the preventative furnace maintenance didn't even come with a new filter, this seems so basic to me, but maybe they never do.
I gave 3 stars because I feel they were competent, and could probably do any work. I will not be using them again.

Will not respond after having issues with their work
They installed a new boiler in our house the past spring. Have been having issues with it since late January. It will shut off and gives an error message. Email Mike P of their company and he will not respond, bee over a week. Also because things were not done right a radiator in my basement cracked and water started to gush out. Luckily I found the shut off valves to the radiator so it could be shut off. I understand issues arise, but the unwillingness of these people to address these issues are why they get the 1 star rating. If you use them don't ever expect they will get back to you in a timely manner if you need something.

I got back to Pittsburgh after a month away in December. I came home to find a pipe that had frozen and broken, and my basement was almost flooded. I called Fagnelli on a Sunday morning and they were at my house within a couple hours. I thought everything was going great... until they quoted me $600 for replacing a pressure regulator on top of the $90 fee to come look at the problem. I thought that ridiculously high and decided to live with the leaking pipe until I could get a second opinion on Monday morning. Well, my second opinion was much better, $145 for a diagnostic evaluation, part, and labor. It was all fixed in 1 hour. Thanks to the other plumber with a much more reasonable price. Its been a week and no leaks or problems!
I thought the exorbitant amount quoted by Fagnelli was due to calling on a Sunday, but when I talked to them on Monday morning, the price wasn't any lower.
Today I checked my credit card and to my dismay, Fagnelli double charged my card! $180 for all that overpriced grief? Ugh! Now I get to call them back first thing next week and deal with them some more.
