Very responsive (a rarity among contractors from my experience), friendly, professional, and fair rates. They did a great (and fast)  job replacing a toilet for me and based on this experience I would certainly recommend them to others.

I have to give a shout out to our awesome plumber Mark Trimble. No he didn't tell me to write any of this but I see a lot of questions in here asking for a great plumber. I can't recommend him enough if you have a job that you need done right the first time, need to fix a job that was botched by another company (like one that rhymes with Sold Pedal), or any challenging or creative fix. Mark and his son are the guys to save the day.

They treat your house like their own. In our case, our sump pump failed and the back up too. Plus the original company who installed the connector to the townhouse drainage system did a terrible job (before we moved in) and water was splashing all back on our bricks causing damage. Mark is not the cheapest plumber but is is absolutely the best around. He can do anything, do it right, do it to code, and make sure you won't run into problems in the future by corner cutting. He knows what he is doing and stands behind his work. I think they must have come by five times for our job to quote, help us keep the basement from flooding, lent us a little manual pump, installation, and checking in to make sure it worked properly. That kind of service is rare these days.

I owned my home for several years and had no ceiling light in my living room. My home was over 100 years old, so it was originally gas lighting. Manny placed 6 recessed lights in my living room ceiling and included a dimmer switch! Then he installed baseboard electric heaters in every room including my living room. He did an excellent job and I was very happy.

I worked with Matt on a unique plumbing issue and he was knowledgeable and a pleasure to work with. You can trust in A&P!

I called Greg for the first time on Super Bowl Sunday about hall lights not working. He came and fixed the problem that night! He charged very little and is very accessible. He will be my BEF (Best Electrician Forever).

Larry and his boys were great. We are in the process of slowly fixing up an old brownstone, which means lots of surprises and expensive updates. They were more than kind in our first round of work, very informative and easy to work with. They did quick, clean work installing ceiling lights and outlets.

I am happy to have found them to spruce up our old home!

Top notch work, and great customer service. We had 3 ceiling fans, 2 GFI switches (installed) and an an outlet out back replaced. Very polite employees and no price gauging. I would highly recommend them. I know I'll be calling at income tax time for the electrical to finish my basement.

Joe, the owner of JDV, arrived within the scheduled 2 hour window and called 30-minutes before arriving. He was professionally dressed groomed and scented. He wore bootie protectors indoors. He was patient, friendly and intelligent. He immediately got to work investigating and solving the problem. He thoroughly tested the implementation to make sure everything worked properly before moving on to the next issue. He listened to my friendly banter and volleyed appropriately sized responses. He answered all additional questions that i had and even gave unsolicited advice to issues i had not noticed or thought of. He charged what was quoted. He was not pushy for further services. He was the dream contractor. He backed up his stellar reputation with irreproachable service and unassailable character. I will undoubtedly use him for all of my future electrician needs.

These guys are rockstars in my
Book.  They showed up on time, were all service, no hassle, fair priced, clean and super friendly.   Would highly recommend and will definitely use again!

DO NOT LET THESE PEOPLE IN YOUR HOUSE.  They are the worst company EVER.  Kathy and Tiffany are the rudest people I have ever met.  They came out to our house through our warranty company and did nothing.  My walls are literally falling down from the leak that they did NOT fix.

When you buy an old Philly rowhouse, you are bound to have some electrical issue at some point. We use them for all of our electrical issues. They have great customer service, are professional and always go above and beyond what is expected for them to do. They even told us where to find coupons for them online - which is something that they don't need to do considering they already had our business. I don't know how their prices compare because we don't use any other electrician. Highly recommend them!

While I didn't hire them, I found them to be very thorough in the repair explanation, extremely responsive from the first call and the written estimate very thorough. I am postponing the repair.

Very nice people, but the estimate to replace a hot water heater was over double all the other estimates I received.

The leak detection side of their offerings was fine.

However, I made the mistake of hiring them for their plumbing. Their plumber found the most roundabout, expensive way to resolve the issue and turned a $400-$500 fix into a $2500 fix.

Even once it was fixed, it started leaking again a few weeks later. This was supposed to be covered by my warranty, but they wanted more money.I ended up paying another $250 so they would do the fixe the way it should've been done in the first place.

If you use them to find your leak, do not under any circumstances hire them to fix anything.
