Chris did a great job rewiring all the knob and tube stuff in the house. He went above and beyond--if he found an issue , such as the dodgy wiring with the bathroom light, he just fixed it. He also, without even me asking, tidied up the lighting for a bedroom closet--before there was cord that went from the closet, through the doorway along the floor, and then had to be plugged into a socket in the bedroom. It was such a pain I never used it. He tidied it all away and now there is a switch in the bedroom that turns on the light in the closet. I would certainly use him again for any electric work, big or small.

After another contractor disappeared when it was time for the job, I was so fortunate to have John return my call, and, with some open availability when I needed it!  He was professional, courteous, prompt, and with fair/pricing.  I can now look at the different electrical jobs in my home and feel good about 'having someone' to call for the work.  One of my favorite things about Positive Electric is that I did not have to have the work assessed first, then wait on the estimate, then reschedule my availability.  I agreed to the price on the spot, and he got to work- what a wonderful weekend it was to have power again in my dishwasher and kitchen!!  Thank you John!

We live down the street from Powell's and as soon as we moved in we have been using them.  I would never go with another company.  They are on time, reliable, trustworthy, and on top of that they have made my home safer than it was before.  And for that I am very grateful.  Their front desk person is always such a pleasant person to speak to.  Their workers are respectful and clean up after themselves.  Like what more could you ask for out of a company?!  I HIGHLY recommend this business!!

Having never hired a contractor to do any work in my home, I can't say enough great things about Anton Electric!

Everyone in my family is in some sort of skilled trade so we rarely have to hire contractors.  My cousin is an electrician but he's been unavoidably detained with a 4 year old and a new born, so I had to call in the pros to install our media center and wire in a ceiling fan where no electric existed before.

Jeff, from Anton Electric, was not only on time each day he came, but he was professional and did everything neatly and proper.  He installed all of our components in the basement and ran an infrared device through the walls and placed it discretely next to the TV (which I still can't find).  Now everything is out of site in the basement and all we have in our living room is the TV and speakers - it's amazing!  Everything is controlled through this infrared and changing channels and such sends a signal to our devices in the basement.  I'd highly recommend this if yo want to hide your devices.

Jeff also installed a ceiling fan in our living room and honestly, he had it up in under 20 minutes.

We shopped around with some other contractors and Anton was not only the most competitive, but they appeared to have had the best reputation.  We'll be calling them back when we redo our kitchen or have any other electrical needs! Thanks Anton!

Steve Bright is a great handyman.  He is conscientious, clean, and precise.  We had him perform two main jobs for us - fix a poorly installed tub, and patch the damaged ceiling underneath that tub.  Our tub was installed in a way that water was seeping behind it onto the ceiling of the first floor.  Steve performed a few ingenious - and now invisible - cuts in the tile around the tub, so he could adjust its position and cancel the leak.  When we got home from our vacation, I had to look closely to be sure he'd even been there, the place was so clean afterwards.  No leaking since.  For the ceiling, he had to cut a big chunk out of the plaster, which created a lot of dust.  To contain the dust, he erected a plastic shield, floor to ceiling, that created a special little room he could work in.  He did a great job, and was kind enough to work around our WFH schedule.  Also, on both jobs, he gave clear cost estimates, and kept himself within budget.  I would not hesitate to hire Steve for the other jobs needed around our old house, and look forward to seeing him drive up in his mobile workshop again.

Installed a wired doorbell front & back. They were able to install it in such a way that there was minimal disruption to wall surfaces. It works flawlessly, and now enables me to install any of the video doorbell sets that are on the market (some of which require a wired doorbell). I would not hesitate to hire again for any electrical needs.

JB Electrical Services has done multiple jobs at my home and I am so impressed with their awesome service. Jeff answers calls/texts promptly and arrives on time. He has an admirable work ethic with the utmost knowledge and competence. Each job was done promptly and with professional results. I highly recommend JB Electrical Services if you're looking for quality work at a reasonable cost.

I made a cold call to this company because my HVAC unit for my small business broke down on the coldest day of the year so far.  Their Yelp reviews were very high so I naturally thought they would be really knowledgeable and likely helpful.  However, the man who answered the phone showed me otherwise.  Not only was he incredibly rude (he turned my words around to suggest I was telling him what to charge - a real wait . . . what???!? kind of moment) but then he dismissively told me he couldn't help me.  Though at the end of the call, he wanted to redeem himself by offering to suggest other companies I could call, the damage was already done.  
I work in the customer service industry and it doesn't take much to be kind or at the very least, professional.  This man, who is serving as the company's representative, was neither.  If you do have an electrical issue, maybe it might be best to reach out to other companies before calling here.  As you may notice from my profile, I don't write many reviews - for good or bad experiences.  But I took time to write this review so that someone else wouldn't have to deal with this kind of exceptionally bad service.   There are way too many other companies who are capable of being nice, even if they're unable to help.

I'm a returning customer and can say with confidence that with Thomas Electric, you could never be wrong! I had an electrician come out from their company back in 2021 and remembered him being highly attentive, communicative and professional. The experience led me to hire them again today when I needed someone to fix an outdoor outlet. Jasin, our electrician, was communicative about the estimate at every step of the way and did a great job with the repair. The customer service staff was also highly supportive throughout the process.

Joe and his guys inspected a home I was purchasing with electrical issues. I was under a deadline and they went out of their way to help and come that day. I got a quote, AND a report noting all code violations. Huge help and saved the day!

I never thought I'd find an electrician I could rate five stars! After trying numerous electricians who would never return my call and one who quoted me an outrageous price for the work, I finally got a rave recommendation from a coworker for Sam Van Horn. He and his in-laws had both had wonderful experiences with them, really going above and beyond with service.

Sam was responsive, honest and provided a quote thousands below the competition. He and his crew arrived on time, paid attention to details and were just outstandingly helpful. Can't recommend them enough.

Old school south philly electrician. It's like having your dad do your electrical (as long as he's the fatherly type). He's punctual and friendly. He's competent. And he's affordable. I swear, if Lou had a website, Gen3 would be out of business. His estimates were half the price and he was incredibly polite and clean. He even managed to shift his work schedule around my infant's nap. By far my favorite electrician this far. And I've been through four or so thus far.

He works with his nephew and son. The y have a delightful bickering going on, worthy of a reality show. I really have no complaints and I plan to call him back for some other issues.

Before they even come out they take your credit card number, assess a 95.00 service fee,call back / text multiple times to confirm service then even before someone arrives,steps foot on property to look at the problem state charge of 340.00.
Never seen anything like this. We cancelled service and had another company do it the old fashioned way. Come out, assess fix problem and charge for their services 100.00

I had a very unprofessional experience with Theo. First of all, it took weeks to schedule an appointment. I was very thorough in detailing the problem for him over email.

At the time of the appointment (on Saturday), he came to the house, spent 20 minutes, and then repeated the problem to me and told me he'd send me a proposal on Monday.

He sends me the proposal late Monday night, and it simply says i cannot give an estimate given the circumstances.

What? What circumstances? He couldn't have told me that on Saturday?

Now I've lost a month of time and still no solution to my problem.

VERY VERY unprofessional.

Called Tom because of his good reviews and he isn't too far from my property. Tom was communicative via phone, came on time, and he worked efficiently and skillfully.

His pricing was fair and he was able to accommodate me into his busy schedule!

Will recommend to other folks I know in the area, and will use him again when I need an electrician.
