I'm really glad we found Rey! My husband and I own a rental house while also working full-time jobs so when DIY repairs don't go as planned, as was the recent situation for a broken dishwasher, we need help. Fortunately, my husband got the dishwasher working again, though he found getting it back together correctly wasn't so easy. I searched for someone to do the job and found RM Handyman Services. Rey was extremely responsive, punctual, and got the repair done super quick! Knowing that we can turn to Rey, we can bypass doing the repairs ourselves, and go directly to him.

Gabe and Tony just left after fixing a broken pipe under my kitchen sink. They were professional, empathetic and practiced the proper safety measures with their PPE. I will definitely be calling them again when I need work done. Thank you both so much!

We had Buzz Duzz replace our poorly designed low functioning central air with a dual split a/c system last summer. The crew was respectful, knowledgeable and showed up as promised...which seems to be a difficult thing to do for most Philly companies. Anyway, after that we had a bit of trouble and Buzz was super responsive every time. Today we woke up to no heat. Made a call to Buzz and we had a tech at the houe and the problem resolved within 2 hours! We love Buzz Duzz!!

This is the first time I've ever posted a review. I felt it necessary based on my recent experience. Don't use this company for a few reasons. I found them on Home Advisor- this winter to work on my heater. I called them back to work on my AC. I found out They've recently been removed from the site. For unethical work practices. They are not dependable, and don't show up. They committed to fixing my AC, with dates and times When I called the company Brian the owner said he would be coming out but never heard from him again. Tried to reach them a few different times. Not a good way to run a company. I wouldn't trust these guys.

A leak formed under our kitchen sink so I reached out to a few plumbers. Luna Brothers responded within minutes and said they could come by for a free quote. They came the next day and fixed the leak. They were helpful, super friendly, and answered all my questions. I will definitely be using them for any future plumbing/maintenance needs.

If you need a plumber- stop searching and call Tom at We The Plumbers! Seriously. I wish I could give these guys a million stars. I can't say enough great things about Tom and his team! They are professional, on time and very helpful.
Tom was honest and respectful but also straightforward which I appreciated. We the Plumbers care about their clients- when you are trusting someone to fix something you know nothing about you want to make sure they have your best interest and that's exactly what Tom has for his clients.
I don't know anything about plumbing and Tom walked me through every little thing. Literally. Every. Little. Thing. (I ask a lot of questions) He was there via text, phone call and was truly trying to resolve my issue. His customer service is out of this world.
Problem I was having: water flooding basement when shower was used, toilet, dishwasher etc... he stopped by my home for 15 minutes and diagnosed the issue. I was 10 days in to being a first time home buyer. Serious nightmare. Tom moved mountains and I know he would do the same for all his clients.
I am now almost 30 days in and no flooding in the basement and everything works!
I don't know why your honestly still reading this review. If you need a plumber, call Tom!
Thanks again, Tom & team

This man does good work and he is very reasonable. That is first and foremost and should be said. HOWEVER, he is all over the place. His ever changing policies, his ridiculous rants on Facebook about customers who aren't satified (which he usually ends up deleting ), his constant patting himself on the back, the confusing and ever changing communication is enough to make you NOT want to like him on social media any more or use his services. His FB business page is like a users online diary, it is all over the place. Just stick to your job. Stop posting dumb stuff constantly and let your work speak for itself. You are destroying your reputation with this nonsense and your all over the place rules that seem to change daily. Chill.out. my dude. You are legit starting to look like something is extra sus.
This review is being given by someone who has had Blake do work in my home, recommended to others both personally and in the community, and also had Blake screw me over not following up when contacted for an emergency after initially speaking to him. So I have had it all.

Juan at statewide is highly recommended. He stayed in constant contact with us and did a first class job. He kept us aware of the job at each step. Very professional work. Fantastic experience, I will always call on statewide and Juan. Thanks! KM and DW

This company is a scam and and full of thieves. One star is even too generous for them and to call them unprofessional is an understatement.
We hired them to finish some work on the house we were closing on. We were thrilled when they agreed to come out last minute, after another contractor fell through due to a family emergency closing weekend. However, this thrill was very short lived as only 15% of the work was completed, even though they stated that all work was done. This was discovered during the final walk through with the new buyers and almost jeopardized the sale of the home. Not only were projects left uncompleted, they left trash and debris around the house. Toomer and Sons also said that they would come out and fix everything on closing day. They kept telling us they were on their way, but never showed up and eventually stopped responding to phone calls and texts. We waited hours for them that day.
They ended up costing us over 2 grand. Not only did we pay this company for uncompleted work, we then had to pay the buyers for everything that was not done. Toomer and Sons then agreed to pay the money back. This occurred back in May and we have been trying to get our money back from them since. We have given them 6 months to pay us. Instead of making things right, they have been jerking us around. Every time we reach out, they give us an excuse about being on another job or that they are waiting on payroll. They continue to blame the subcontractors that they hired instead of taking responsibility as the contractor. They are also very unprofessional when we do reach out to them. We have been trying to keep things as civil as possible but may need to move on to other avenues to get our money back. Do yourselves a favor and DO NOT use Toomer and Sons. They will not only not complete the job you hired them for, they will take your money and run.

I am not a fan of Lowry Services, and neither should you be. Where to start - this company is as unprofessional as they come. They price gouge, do shoddy work, and do not honor their so called warranty.
A month and a half or so ago, Lowry Services installed exhaust fans in two of my bathrooms. When the electrician told me he was going to go to Lowe's to get the fans, I told him to get good ones, and I'll pay the increased price for them.
Fast forward a bit. I noticed that after showering, my bathroom wall gets moisture on it. I researched the model number of the fans and leaned that these fans get very poor ratings. That explains the moisture. When I called to explain this, the representative was friendly, and scheduled me for a repair visit. I also requested additional work to get done.
As soon as the electrician named Matt arrived, he immediately told me that there is nothing he can do to address the moisture issue. He said the fans are 120 CFU fans, and that they are fine for the bathrooms. He suggested that I hire a carpenter to remove the bathroom doors and saw off a quarter inch along the bottom of them - then said this may help with the moisture. He said another option would be to shower with the bathroom door(s) open. I'm sure my fiancé and daughter would have an issue with this.
My family is not showering with the doors open, nor am sawing off the bottom of my doors because it is not needed. I lived in other houses where the doors didn't need sawing and the exhaust fans worked fine. Additionally, the fans are 110 CFU, not 120 CFU. Regarding the incorrect CFU guess you would think that the company that supplied these fans would know what they installed. Then again, if Matt took the time to actually look into the issue for more than 45 seconds, he may have been able to speak more intelligently on this concern. Needless to say, this issue was not addressed - barely looked into, and the moisture continues to happen. I'm assuming it is only a matter of time until my paint starts to bubble.
I also have a few outlets in my house that do not work. Outlets that do not work seems like entry level electrician work, but what do I know. I paid over $300.00 to have these outlets fixed. After about an hour, the electrician fixed one outlet, and seemed stumped on the others (which are all on one side of the house).
His answer to me was to ask me to pay an additional $308.00 dollars for him to continue. When I initially scheduled the job, I asked that these outlets be fixed, not that I pay over $300.00 to hope that they get fixed. I surely wasn't expecting to be asked for an additional $308.00 for him to continue - and with no guarantee that he would even fix them even then. So, after spending over $300.00 to get my outlets fixed - I am still sitting in the dark, while Lowry Services leaves with my money.
I also asked Lowry Services to install two Ring Spotlight Security Cameras. The one in my backyard was installed with the spotlights hanging loose. I had to re-aim them and tighten the thumb screws. No big deal, but I was charged over $400.00 for this one spotlight/camera installation - so I should not have had to do anything.
The other spotlight/camera installed over my garage wobbles a bit because he used the same mounting box from the old spotlight that he removed instead of using a new one. That hardware is probably ten years old or more.
There are many company's out there that prey on people that are either in vulnerable situations, or who may not know any better. In my opinion, Lowry Services is one of them. There are way too many other options out there; honest and ethical companies, and I will pursue them going forward.

Update on 4-12-20:
The owner of Lowry Services contacted me via the cookie cutter message below and said to contact them to discuss these issues to resolve them. After speaking to their electrician's manager Joe I was told by my own fans and they will install them. Even though I bought the first two already. This is the results of Lowry's incompetent work. Water literally dripping from the exhaust fan and soaking the carpet. I have a video of this I put on their Facebook page, but I cannot upload it to Yelp. I also have water running down my walls.
As previously stated, Lowry's wonderful response is for me to go buy new fans and they will install them. Not them coming over with better fans and replacing them, but telling me to buy them at my expense, so that means I will have purchased four exhaust fans because of their half ass workmanship. What a joke.
