Tim is courteous,  reliable, and efficient.  He changed out our water heater, working with us and our warranty company, to ensure we received the correct size. He was polite and personable, quickly completing the job.

We will definitely be calling him for any future plumbing needs.

I work in facility management and work with service providers day in and day out. Gator Plumbing was called to my personal home by my warranty company. I can honestly say, I have NEVER encountered a service provider that is so utterly unprofessional. I feel upset that I let Tim, the owner and sole operator, into my home.

Not only is Tim incapable of sticking to scheduled appointments (he rescheduled on me 4 times... often 10 minutes prior) and he blatantly threatened me (I know where you live) when I told him I was getting frustrated as my job would no longer accommodate me taking time off to make appointments. I filed a police report regarding this incident as I was genuinely concerned for my safety.

I truly believe that warranty companies work with Tim because of his low cost and Tim enjoys working with warranty companies because it allows him to do, say and treat people however he likes. There is no doubt that Tim operates with zero integrity.

It would be in your best interest to look elsewhere and not use Gator Plumbing. We had a pipe burst in our bathroom and Gator Plumbing was assigned to us by the insurance company. Tim was extremely rude and unprofessional on the phone, and cancelled and rescheduled the appointment the day of. When he was able to finally make it to the house, he walked in and took one look at the bathroom and stormed out without saying a word before driving off. We never heard from him again besides getting the bill in the mail. WHO DOES THAT? An awful experience. This seems to be consistent with the other reviews he's received on Yelp.

Tim showed up and looked around and then walked out. He left and called my grandparents saying he was not gonna do the job.

I highly recommend NOT using Gator Plumbing, whether it be by your choice or the choice of your home warranty. He was very disrespectful and unprofessional on the phone, and when he showed up at my house, he walked in, looked around for maybe five minutes, told me he was getting some tools from his truck then just took off. Simply drove away without a word, then proceeded to call my warranty service and lie to them saying I refused the deductible payment. Don't waste your time or money with this guy, there are plenty of other people that will do the job right and not be completely rude to you.

This business was recommend by a friend, she had had a kitchen sink installed, and was very pleased with Tim's work.

I called him one week ago on Friday, and ask if he would be able to fix our toilet tank. We agreed that he would come on Friday, August 26th at 10:00AM. When he hadn't arrived by 10:30, I gave him a call to see how much longer he would be. He didn't answer, so I left him a message asking him to return my call. It is now 5:50PM on Saturday, and I have never heard a word from him. I realize that things can happen that are out of our control, and I hope he is okay. If he ever response to my call, and has a reasonable excuse, then I will return here a say as much, but for now, I'm disappointed that he had so little regard for a client.

If I could give him a negative star I would. He rescheduled. Then left for over 2 hours in the middle of the h2o heater installation. Then we get a call from rapid cash that our checks had bounced. Got a call from home warranty we didn't pay our service fee. He then calls wanting his money now. We had to have our bank and rapid cash do research. I had to email home warranty my receipt saying he was paid. Then he keeps calling. He called again saying he now has all these fees and I'm trying to mess with him. He tells me he's been in an accident and fired from his job and a big son story. Rapid cash calls and says our checks are fine and they cleared. He had tried to cash the checks twice. That's why there was an issue. So we are not responsible for the fees or anything per rapid cash. I've also filed a grievance with my home warranty because this took 10+ days. I feel harassed and attacked by him. I felt horrible and was going to go pay him cash for it when I had the flu. My daughter said to wait for the banks to get everything cleared up. So if we would've not looked into this. He would've gotten $75 from us... $75 from my home warranty... $150 from rapid cash for double cashing the check... and the $75 cash from me trying to do the right thing. So he would've gotten $375 from service fees.. I wonder how many other people he's done this too? Now he has to pay the fees for it.

I had to write this review to share my experience.  When Gator Plumbing was assigned by the Home warranty company,  I did my research here in Yelp and was really concerned (based on the other reviews). But in reality, I was pleasantly surprised by Tim as I found him very courteous and helpful. In my case, Tim couldn't fix the issue as it was not covered by my Insurance but he offered to fix the issue at a lower cost. Bottom line is, I don't really think Tim is as bad as the other reviewers described (IMHO), he is definitely process oriented and ensures that everything is run by the Insurance company first and I am Ok with that as I believe he was very transparent (even he called the insurance company in front of me and put the phone on speaker so that I could hear the conversation). I also found him very knowledgeable in plumbing areas and he gave me few good tips. Well, I am not advocating you should hire Gator Plumbing (as I have no associations with the company), I just thought I ll share my experience.

Gator Plumbing was assigned to us by our home warranty service.  We had some drainage issues and another plumbing company assigned by the home warranty company had done some initial work, and Gator was assigned to do the simple final task of putting our toilet back on with a new wax ring.  40 minutes before he was supposed to show up (I stayed home from a family outing on a Saturday morning to wait for him), he called saying that my home warranty had contacted him saying that they had denied the claim and had told him not to come out to put the toilet back on.  I was very surprised because they told me on Thursday when they had assigned him to me that it was all approved.  I immediately called the home warranty company and they told me an entirely different story.  They said that Tim had called that morning (he had been assigned to us since Thursday and waited until the last minute to cancel) and had said that he didn't want to service our toilet and turned down the job.  Tim also told them he doesn't put toilets back on (which he had explicitly told me 2 days prior that he does).  They said he was the one that decided not to do the job and that they didn't cancel his work order, and I believe them because they were already looking for another plumber to come out and fix our toilet.  I wish Tim would have just turned down the job on Thursday when it was first assigned to him because then we would have gotten another plumber out here sooner.  I left a message for Tim to ask him about the discrepancies between his story and the home warranty company's, but I never heard back.
