Best Businesses in Oregon
This is the first and probably the last review I'll write. These guys were amazing. I called them up with a well issue (my pump wasn't turning on) and he apologized and said they would not be able to make it out today because they were way too busy. I asked if they could test a couple of the parts I took off, he said they would, and they might even have a replacement part on one of their trucks, they invited me out to one of their jobs, tested the parts and found the culprit. Adam then walked over to his truck, pulled out a brand new control box handed it to me and said if this works mail me a check! These guys saved my butt! They will get my business from here on out. Highly recommended!

Loved that they showed up in a mask, making safety a priority. Joe did a great job installing our two new garbage disposals and new kitchen faucets. They showed up at the schedule time and completed all the work in a timely professional manner. I highly recommend Bell Plumbing and would use them in the future.

There are very few plumbers out there with the diligence and expertise that Danny demonstrates. Danny is an owner/operator who takes pride in his business and it shows in his work. We had a major leak in our downstairs bathroom and he was able to instruct me how to get the leak to stop within 1 minute of making the call to him, he also came out the same day to make the emergency repair.

Just an update that over the years we have continued to use Doug and First call - probably 3 times and a 4th scheduled for next week. They continue to do the job right. Great attitude, the price is right and most importantly - they fix things right the first time.
We have an old house, 92 years old, and several previous owners who were Home Depot Weekend Warriors who didn't know jack squat about repairs. We know one of the previous owners through neighborhood holiday parties Yeah, I'm a chef - taught myself how to fix that! All proud. Jackass.
Yeah yeah, here I am 7 years later having someone sort out your rigged up system made of presswood, pot metal and duct tape...
Anyway. Doug comes in and is helping us sort out the plumbing issues one by one. Will absolutely keep my business as they have these past 5 years.

Friendly, fast and efficient! I called about my clogged bathroom drain and 'Keith' was here within an hour and a half and solved the problem. Highly recommended. Bonus points for a cool name and logo!

I hired these guys to install a new kitchen faucet and to evaluate a situation with the bathtub flow. They were recommended to me by the property management lady. I am extremely pleased with their work and professionalism. Below are some observations:
1. They are clean, safe, friendly and easy to work with.
2. I requested ahead of time please let him remove shoes or use a shoe cover. There was no issue in complying, and he kept his work area very tidy.
3. He gave me a good understanding and insight into how to properly take care of the new faucet and what to do when the building's water gets shut off, etc.
4. They were true to their estimate, and he came back a second time to look at the bathtub situation.
5. These people are honest and very professional. They cost more than a handy man, but I appreciated getting a more specialized service.
6. They are a family owned business, and are easy to work with.
7. I recommend them.

They seem nice, and they came over very quickly. They were prompt about returning calls and texts as well, and while I got cheaper rate quotes, their rate was largely in line with the area at $180 for a call-out.
However, despite me mentioning repeatedly to Nathan that my shower was American Standard both on the phone and in my text message, Nathan took one look and was like: Yeah, I don't know. I don't do American Standard. I opened part of it for him and showed him where it was leaking, and he was like: Yeah, you need a new part. I explained that I had already replaced these parts at the advice of another plumber and it still leaked, so could he take a look if something was wrong with the installation perhaps. He just said No, I don't know anything about American Standard, so I don't want to touch it.
He gave me a helpful recommendation of calling George Morlan, and they connected me to a company that will be here in two days, but that means another two days without a shower and we have to delay leaving on our anniversary trip on Thursday morning to let the new plumbers in. This could have been avoided if AACT Plumbing had told me they don't do American Standard when I told them over the phone AND in a text: I need an American Standard diverter fixed.

I originally went with this company because of the 5 star ratings. Grant came out about a year ago and gave us a verbal estimate on our master bath. Further down the road we decided to change directions with the master bath - so I called in October 2021 to have him come out to give an estimate on now both the master and guest bath. He gave me a verbal over the phone estimate of roughly $2690 for both baths. They came out yesterday to first do only the guest bath. The job came to $3400 for only the guest when in October it was supposed to be $1300 roughly. When we called the next day to inquire of the large increase he stated his estimates are only good for 30 days - information that would have been useful when I set up the appointment. Lesson learned is to always have your estimate in writing and it should state how long that estimate is good for. I am highly disappointed and will not use him for our master. He could have at least offered to try to take something off but did not. $2k off is ridiculous - even if your estimates are good for 30 days (which should've been relayed).

I originally reached out to Josh on a weekend which can be difficult to find a plumber in an emergency. He ended up coming over on a Sunday to evaluate an old water heater that failed in my home. JBG Plumbing even loaned us a temporary water heater to use while waiting weeks for asbestos abatement. Our home's water damage ended up spiraling into multiple projects that had to be completed before getting our new water heater installed in the room with the damage which really helped us out and was much appreciated! Josh and his team worked hard to dig in my back yard to find out main water valve and they upgraded and moved the valve for easier future shut off in an emergency. They were professional and honest about the things needing to be done to get the new water heater up to code for the city. I feel like the overall price to replace the water heater and the labor to install was fair, especially for the amount of times he had to come over to my condo over approximately a 5 week time span. The only thing to critique was sometimes the time frame he gave us for arriving to work would be different than the actual time they show up. I realize that other jobs can run late depending on what they find on the job site, so we were flexible with this. To be fair, we would get calls or text messages to let us know if they were running late. Overall, I would highly recommend this business and am grateful for the work and professionalism! Thanks Josh and JBG Plumbing

Lovett was beyond disappointing on so many levels. I'm a house manager and the home is a 1910 older craftsman beauty. With an older home comes the possibility of old pipes and that is the true case here. We had a back up downstairs in the laundry room. Although the homeowner handled it on his own, this is a recurring problem. The work involved and the smell alone is unmanageable. I do diligent research with all companies and honestly Lovett was in the top 5 with google. I called around to different companies because before I commit, I request estimates. Plumbing is not my wheelhouse so you can imagine the dumb questions I asked. Lovett had a tech come out. He took some pictures and wasn't going to do anything except I walked him around and asked him if he had the equipment to scope. Other plumbing companies don't have this I guess. So he took some pictures, found the depths of the pips and charged us $212.00 and now I'm waiting for an estimate. A week goes buy, I call AND email Lovett curious about the estimate. Comes to find out they have an ESTIMATOR. I'm SO CONFUSED. The other companies have someone comes out, do the work, charge and give an estimate NOT LOVETT. Now Mike and Allen come out after me badgering them to get someone out here. It's a week and a half LATER and STILL NO ESTIMATE. Then Mike says WE DONT HAVE TIME FOR YOU, I SUGGEST YOU GO WITH ANOTHER COMPANY! I call he company, try to get a refund. Russell calls me back, fighting me on a $212 bill that we did NOT get service for. Long story short. No professionalism, horrible communication, untimely responses! ZERO VALUE! I WILL NEVER USE OR RECOMMEND LOVETT, EVER! Seems they have enough business anyway.

I just finished a complete water system install with Crouchley by sitting on the front stoop and chatting with Tracey as he laced up his boots! I'm so pleased. It started when I heard a water leak back in late November, six months ago, when there was snow on the ground. By way of recommendation, I called Crouchley and before I could clear the crawl space, Clayton was in my driveway. He crawled, he dug, he found the leak in the rusted pipe, he repaired it and then followed up with an estimate for a proper upgrade. Clayton replanted the plants in my flower beds which makes him a total winner! Six months later, Tracey came with a highly capable, husband/wife drilling team, new pipe and complete explanations of what was to happen next and why. As the job is wrapping up, he found an old, problematic bathtub pipe and a leaking kitchen/laundry pipe in my crawlspace surely saving me from future disaster. Not sure if it gets any better!

Wow, just wow!
Our main water line sprung a leak because of a faulty coupling at the meter. I called a big named company, waited 4 days and got an outrageous quote. I called Ironman and they were very attentive. I texted them pics and they gave me a quote more than half of the other guys!! They were here within an hour and finished up quickly!
Amazing customer service and professionalism!

I called Peace of Mind Plumbing about a leaky sink and garbage disposal. They were able to fit me in the next day. Brain and Poppy were knowledgeable and quick. They were in and out in less than 30 minutes and everything works perfectly! I will definitely be calling them for all my plumbing needs.

Called him out for trailer brake issues. My opinion is that he was not well prepared or equipped for this issue.
I will say that he was very responsive to my request for help, so for other issues he might be fine. He was amiable and tolerant of my frustration. Because I rarely have others fix things on my farm, I can be a difficult customer. He did help steer me in the right direction, and because of my obvious dissatisfaction only charged me for the service call. I hate wiring issues but decided to fix it myself or take it to a fully equipped and supplied shop..

I live in an older house (okay, really old, built in 1930). I don't have plumbing issues often. But never fails when I do, they're nearly catastrophic.
Today was my kitchen drain not draining and a garbage disposal that would only just turn, but didn't seem to be working. Worst part, nasty water was backing up and getting close to flowing all over the kitchen. There was even gross back draining into the dishwasher.
Called & got a real person straight away! Yay! Even better, Gene could get out to my house this afternoon. Showed up exactly when I was told he would. Absolutely professional, super tidy and no up-sells or telling me I needed services I didn't. He even came back in to tighten a line he noticed was loose somewhere other than the repair site for no extra charge.
Their number has a permanent place in my phone.

I manage several properties for my grandma in Battle Ground, it's difficult due to my physical location being over 3000 miles away. I found Justin at Aqua Star after a low water pressure issue at one of the rentals. I called several plumbers that I have used in the past to receive a quote for the work. On a whim I called Aquastar to compare rates even though I had not used them and was pleased that not only did Justin have a competitive price but he excelled in customer service. I booked him for the first property and found that he was prompt, easy to work with, and my tenants really liked him. He provided updates and making the payment was simple. I have now used him three times in the past month and every time I am more and more impressed. He is the first and only plumber I will call for issues in the area now. It gives me peace of mind knowing that I have a honest company to work with. Thanks!

My water heater started to leak massively on Friday night. Danny came over Saturday morning and was able to replace it in a few hours. Hooray! We had hot water for the weekend.

Worst service I have received in a long time. My friend gave me Jerry from Lake Grove contact because I had water coming through my ceiling. We figured out it was the dishwasher, but still thought of plumbing. I texted Jerry and he was out of town. He said he would text me when he got back in town. I had to follow up because he did not. He the set up an appointment for this past Tuesday at 9:00am. I waited for him until 10:30 and then he texted me at 11:00am saying he was sorry. I told him it was ok and we rescheduled for today. He was here on time. He spent less then ten minutes in my kitchen and told me my dishwasher needed to be replaced. He said he didn't work on them and there was nothing he could do. He then charged me $149.00 for ten minutes after standing me up on Tuesday. He actually asked me specifically what was happening before he came too. I am pretty sure he could have told me that it was not plumbing and to call an appliance repair person. I also thought he would wave or cut his fee in half because of his poor communication and making me waste my time.
Don not use this company! They have very poor service! They may be nice when they are inside your home, but that is it! Jerry put on a great nice guy act!

I have NO idea how nobody has reviewed this place yet but...oh well...it's always fun to be the first!
I had a little time to kill in the Pearl District before checking out of the hotel, and wandered past this beautiful Kohler showroom with its tempting, gorgeous displays of all things bath and kitchen. Of course, since remodeling my boring little grey-on-grey kitchen is definitely on my fantasty/someday list, I had to go inside.
This display room is tightly packed (perhaps a little TOO tightly packed!) with displays of beautiful bathrooms, kitchens, tile, faucets, countertops, cabinets, and other accessories to take your home's most-used rooms from meh to OMG. I marveled at the various types of options available - from traditional set-ups to toilets that open/close when you walk by. (Okay, I'll admit that feature was a bit disconcerting. Not sure I would want the self-opening toilet in my own home but it would be fabulous if you lived with someone who kept forgetting to put the seat down...or...up.)
I was also impressed with the tile and other things they sold, which you wouldn't necessarily associate with Kohler since they're a plumbing company. (And, btw, a great one. I recently installed a Kohler toilet and it's been quite lovely. Despite no auto up/down seat feature.)
The prices here, of course, are pretty high end. But that's the point. This isn't Home Depot. This showroom is focused on design (including helpful staff on hand to help you design your dream room from start to finish). Speaking of the staff, they were very nice and quite friendly even though I was clearly there just to gawk and fantasize about spending six figures on a dream kitchen one day!

We used Henco plumbing to come to our house to assess our toilet. We were charged at the time of service on our credit card for the $89 fee back in OCTOBER of 2022. Now, in July we have received a phone call stating they have never received payment and we need to pay. I let the lady on the phone know I want to go through my bank statements and I would like to get back to her because my husband has been in the hospital (fighting for his life, btw). Two weeks later I get a final notice letter in the mail. This bill they claim we owe has not been an issue to them for 10 months and all of a sudden they can't give me some time to reconcile my bills and cc's to make sure I was not in fact charged last year with what I have going on. I remember distinctly signing their tablet with the worker that was at the house after the cc was charged.
DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! VERY SHADY!!
