Our experience with Kevin was great. Could not have asked for anything better. Very professional. Kevin was also very flexible as we changed our original schedule due to a conflict and he adjusted with no issues. He fixed all our issues. We had a leaking toilet and 2 faucets that had broken components. All resolved on-time and the cost was reasonable.

Alex was great to work with. Fixed some electrical problems quickly and for a fair price. Would use him again.

My friend's dad, a naval captain, says There's only 5 minutes between half a$$ and first class. I chose J's because they have an A+ rating from the BBB. They lived up to their rating. The receptionist told me I'd get a call from the plumber on Wednesday. True to her word, Zach called me Wednesday at 0820, arrived shortly after, and thoroughly completed 4 projects. He went above and beyond by CLEANING UP AFTER HIMSELF and putting my belongings back after moving them. THAT was impressive in and of itself. My bath tub is fully functional, my toilet no longer runs, and no more leaky sink under my new sink. Grateful for the good service. I highly recommend J's Plumbing. They're FIRST CLASS!

Met January 6 and agreed on $3,500 to rough in 2 pedicure chairs and 2 sinks on a commercial property with a crawl space. Offered to pay up front or half, Tony Smith said it would be on completion. Seemed super on his game from day 1 constantly conferencing everyone in on phone calls, extremely impressed to say the least in the beginning. Was bragging and vouching for him when the subject of the nail salon came up. Unfortunately with higher expectation comes a greater fall. Agreed on a price and took until January 14 to get a quote. In the quote and per conversations, as a licensed plumber he would apply for the permit from Gaston County before we started. Called a few times in between and texted, no response. Other than a personal pet peeve to be ignored it's completely unprofessional. It takes about 2 weeks for Gastonia to approve a permit so I'm thinking any day now, and setting up next steps to work on the property and when to order the $70,000 of material to put in the salon. Come to find out today, February 1, Tony Smith never even applied for a permit. Nearly a month later and wasted. Not sure what the issue was. We were happy to pay $3,500 considering it's pennies compared to the overall investment. Will make a point to not recommend and not use for any future business.
UPDATE 2/15/21: Contacted ACC Plumbing and Backflow....pulled permit the same day, never missed a phone call or text. Roughed in 2 pedicure chairs, 1 sink, replaced rusted pipe as well as pass inspection in about 4 days. Cost me $4,900 BUT GOT THE JOB DONE!

I can't say enough good things about Giles Plumbing! They just squeezed me in & sent their plumber, Glen, right out on a Friday afternoon so we wouldn't have to wait until Monday! They are the BEST! They've done it before and they are such great people. Just in case you need someone, now you know who to call.

Horrible experience. DON'T RECOMMEND. We scheduled them to come put in our sink at our new house. Dustin came to give our quote and we called dean to schedule our service. The first time we scheduled with Dean they said they got stuck on a job and would be late. We waited 4hrs and then they said they could no longer make it. We gave them the benefit of the doubt and rescheduled for the following Friday morning. I texted them to confirm the day before but they never responded. We still held hope and showed up to the house early in the morning and waiting for them.. they never showed up. No response no text nothing. I would give 0 stars if I could.

I had a clogged kitchen sink and called Lake Norman Plumber on Call...Miss Shelly was awesome to deal with. She took my info and scheduled me right away. Matt showed 10 minutes ahead of the scheduled time and went out of his way to fix my problem. Even said there would be no charge if he couldn't unclog the drain. Price was very reasonable and I would recommend them to anyone.

Called these folks to repair items from a house inspection report on a house we're selling . Responsive, professional, punctual and reasonable quote. Will definitely use them again and would highly recommend to a neighbor.

DO. NOT. HIRE. (I would select ZERO stars if I could post without any stars being awarded.)
We used him to reattach our under-mount kitchen sink to the counter. After several excuses about not showing for several scheduled appointments (should have been my first red flag!) he finally showed up to do the work.
He charged us $700 dollars to reattach the sink. The final charge was $300 over the original quoted price. He charged $200 to clean the sink to install. He requested a tip for his services and a YELP review.
I hope you enjoy my review! MY tip - DO NOT HIRE!
Six months later the sink has fallen off the counter.
I have called him for two months to come fix his work. Literally left voice messages daily. I have only been able to get him on the phone twice. Both times he has indicated he will be at my house to fix his work on Friday. He has yet to show up. His excuses for not showing up both times are truly comical.
I can not stress enough... DO. NOT. HIRE! This guy gives independent residential contractors a bad name.

Uh...charging me 100.00 to fix a hole in the wall he charged me to make in order to troubleshoot a leak? The hole was about 14 inches square and could have been just 3 inches square. Another 65.00 to mount a shower rod...jeezus no! Also wants to charge an extra 2% just for using a debit card....Uh...Uh!

Companies like this are why I DIY as much as possible. I should have paid more attention to other Yelp reviews. I can't stand dishonest people or companies. But not confident in my own electrical abilities.
First, this was for electric services. I had two exterior outlets which were not working. Lady on the phone told me there was a small $49 service fee which can be credited to work completed. OK. Shane comes out, spends an hour trying to determine the issue, doesn't know for sure but believes a connection was never made to service the front two outlets when the home was originally built in 2015 (I'm the second owner). Then asks for $215 for the diagnostic. What happened to the $49? Oh, there's another $166 for a troubleshoot fee. Wasn't disclosed. So $49 gets you to my house and then if I want to know what's wrong, I have to pay more? Shady tactic.
Then Shane tells me it'll be $350 for the repair which will require 12 holes in my wall to run a new line from the circuit breaker through my garage. Can't do it same day because he doesn't have spackle to close up the holes.
Next day comes back and had an epiphany overnight that he wouldn't need to run a new line, he could connect through another room. Job which would have taken considerable amount of time now suddenly takes about an hour.
Shady upfront pricing comments, shady repair tactics, shady company. Do yourself a favor and try to find an honest company as IRV is anything but.
