Tony and Hyram were absolutely incredible to work with!  They provided incredible, FIVE STAR, electrical and plumbing work.  The prices were incredibly reasonable, and they helped me find solutions to make the project work.  I am so thankful I came across this business.  I would gladly work with them in the future.  I cannot say enough wonderful things about Five Star Electrical & Plumbing!

I have wanted recessed lights in my home for sometime now.  I asked around and Johnathan Brown Electric was recommended to me.  I called and set up an appointment for one of their electricians to come out and take a look.  The receptionist that answered the phone was polite and friendly!   The day before my in-home estimate they emailed to remind me of the appointment.  Good communication on their part!  
Matthew arrived well within the 2 hour window they had given me.  He was also very friendly, professional and polite.  After our walkthrough and his recommendations I decided to move forward with the Price he Quoted and he was able to do the installation right then and their!  I was very pleased with this and it absolutely met my expectations!  
I will mention that because of an old light fixture that was originally placed above my Kitchen sink at the time my home was built there is still a little bit of patch up work to be done on my part to make the necessary repairs.  However the work that Matthew did was excellent, he installed 2 ultra thin recessed lights, 1 of which was replacing the old fixture I mentioned and the other one in a spot above the oven where there was no fixture before! he also upgraded 1 of my dimmable light switches in my guest bathroom.
I am so pleased that I have actually already made an additional appointment for him to come and add a recessed light above my newly renovated shower!  Matthew definitely knows what he is doing and he does it with ease.  At the end of the day I trust him!  So thank you!

So I've got to call myself out for this one, I had a back patio light in the ceiling fan that was less bright than the other ceiling fan. Unbeknownst to me I was unaware there was a control on the remote that dimmed and brightened the light. Not only was he on time, not only did he come out with a smile on his face but instantly show me what the problem was and when I offered to pay he wouldn't accept. I know he was only here five minutes but that's highly unusual. I can promise you when I do have a real electrical job to be done at my home I'm going to contact Sky Electric and Ronnie Mullis.

We needed some outlets fixed in our home. We contacted Shawn and he was very responsive. He was quick to come out and diagnose the problem. He fixed our outlets very quickly. He seemed very knowledgeable and was very respectful. I would not hesitate to recommend Shawn to someone else.

Bob was great.  He was able to squeeze us into his schedule the day after I called and his pricing was more reasonable then the others I spoke to.  He even fixed a few extra things at no additional charge which was awesome.  He will be my first call for electrical needs moving forward.

Look no further for your electrical needs. Bill is top notch and his prices are more than reasonable. We had Bill install 2 ceiling fans. He showed up on time and communication was great. He went the extra mile to make sure both fans were safely installed. Bill quickly fixed another fan in our bonus room at no charge. He also replaced a bulb in our foyer fixture at no charge. One of the fans needed an extra switch installed. Bill went to Lowe's and had everything installed same day. You may get another quote that is a few bucks less, but trust me when I say that Bill is worth those extra few dollars. His work is second to none!

I've used Chad multiple times for projects around my house and cannot recommend him highly enough.  He is responsive, shows up on time every time, does great quality work and his pricing is fair.  I've had him complete a variety of projects to installing hardware on my walls, electrical work (new lights, outlets), assembled/installed furniture and a variety of other projects around the house.  He is a true professional and you won't regret leveraging him for your projects!

A Roby Tech stood on our toilet to install an exhaust fan instead of bringing a ladder.

Our tub had to be chalked twice because the first Roby Tech did not prep the surface before caulking it.  

A Roby tech broke some ceiling drywall and said we could just paint over it. My wife had to argue with them before they would agree to fix it correctly. We had to follow up with them over and over to get that drywall repair scheduled. (See the actual loooong email thread at pastebin.com/e0WWfC2U )

We just wanted to pay a Professional to fix our bathroom while we relaxed, but it was a Total Headache.

We gave Evan a massive list of electrical jobs and he completed the work to absolute perfection!!  His electrical knowledge, diligence and work effort is outstanding and he was a pleasure to work with!! He's always on time, cleans during and after,  thinks the jobs through and communicates potential changes.  We were able to stay within our budget and everything looks great.  Here's a list of the work Evan completed for us:

First floor
1 - install a garbage disposal air switch
2 - install 3 pendants over the island
3 - install fixture over kitchen table

Family room:
1 - install fixture and switch in closet under the stairs
2 - install outlet that can hold six plugs in closet under the stairs
3 - replace laundry room fixture
4 - mount TV above fireplace

Second floor
1 - move ceiling fan in master to sitting room
2 - install light over bed in master
3 - repair or replace ceiling fan in corner bedroom

We have a few more jobs lined up for Evan in the coming weeks.  He's a professional and completely exceeded our expectations.  We can't wait to start the remaining work!!

I found Ryan through other Yelp reviews in the spring right before moving everything down from Chicago. Ryan installed recessed lighting in my formal living and dining rooms and also in my kitchen. We had a miscommunication but Ryan was more than willing to make things right and came out two more times to make me completely happy, going above and beyond what I had originally asked him to do. Ryan made me feel like a priority even after not being the nicest and he's the kind of guy I trusted to be at the house when I was out of town; you can trust him with your grandma, folks.

Roman is such a nice guy! He came exactly when he said on a Saturday evening. The business is called Asap and he lives by it. My wife asked him if I needed you at 2:00am would you come ? He said if it was an emergency, sure.  I called him about 7:30pm, he was here and done by 8:45!! Small job, but it needed an electrician. Quick clean professional work! Use this man!

Luis was fantastic! Asked questions during the estimate, took great notes because he never asked me the same question twice. His workers took great care in making sure the work area was spotless when they were done. We had just moved in and had 12 fixtures we wanted to replace. 4 were high ceilings and the foyer fixture was very high. Luis had no problem! Job came in on estimate no surprises and all were finished the same day. We'll be doing some work in the house this year and will definitely use Honesty Electric again.

Chris took two days just to get back to me.  His unprofessionalism during our phone conversation made me realize this is definitely not someone I want working on or in my home.

Michael & Sons tried to charge me over 1000.00 an hour for a simple shower valve replacement job.  Stay away from this company unless you love throwing away money.  They quoted me a price over 3 times the amount other companies quoted.  They charged a $69 truck roll fee which we were not told about beforehand.  First and LAST time dealing with this company.  There are many fair and honest companies in Charlotte to do business with,  this is NOT one of them!  I can imagine how many senior citizens have been taken advantage of by this company. Just sad!

I cannot comment on the quality of the work done by H Dee, as I never received a call back after leaving a voicemail request about work I needed done.

Don't do business with this company. Once a defective light was installed for $225. They refused to take it down for less than $185. Puts my cost at over $1000 for the light and installation. Do not use this company under any circumstances. If I could give 0 stars I would.  No sir the light was not working well when your technicians were there, and when I needed it taken down you refused to do anything but charge me an additional $185 to have it removed. No offer from you other than full price. No worries though I tripped the breakers and took it down by myself in 5-10 minutes. It was really hard. I can understand the $185 price tag when an unskilled person such as myself can do it in 5-10 minutes. Thank you so much and I will assure no one I know and do business will ever use your service. Your a real gem. Good job.
