As new residents to Charlotte, we did not know who to call for our plumbing needs. Luckily we saw Conrad on Yelp and decided to have him upgrade some minor plumbing items. Conrad texted his ETA and arrived on time.
Conrad did a great, clean, professional job and convinced us we did not need to replace some fixtures that were operating properly. This saved us money and gave us peace of mind.
We thoroughly enjoyed working with Conrad and would recommend his services.

Wayne Anderson and Shannon came out and resolved the problem quickly. Pricing was fair and very nice people to deal with.

This company is the biggest rip off around BEWARE !!!
My son recently called them just last week for a main line clog at his house he just purchased, I have been in the plumbing business for over 35 yrs and a service plumber for over 20 yrs when he called me to let me know what was going on in the house i did not even have to be there to know he had a main line stoppage . So I told my son you need a plumber to come out and snake the main drain to the house .
Well so he called this company and the plumber came out and used a kitchen drain machine to snake the line , after he pulled out a few roots he then charged him $250.00 to run a camera down the drain and then gave him a estimate for $4100 to replace 3ft of cast iron pipe.
So I called to talk to the owner and said well why did you not run a bigger snake mach down the line with a cutter blade to tear out the roots so the drain was unclogged , he told me we do not have machines that do that kind of work , #1 then WHY IN THE HELL did you take the call over the phone if you do not have the proper equipment to do the DAMN JOB!
and not to mention there invoice said the plumber dug down to the top of the pipe 3FT down he did not do SQUAT ! has far as digging .
so long story short my son had another co come out the next day and clean the line and dig up the line and install clean outs for $900 and most of that was just the labor part . In all of my plumbing career I have never seen a decent plumbing company not have the proper equipment to clear a main line clog, if you do not have you the proper tools to do the job then get out of the F___N ! business and stop ripping PEOPLE OFF !!!

I used Roby to install two new outlets, remove two existing light fixtures, and remove the wiring behind two sconce plates in our 1960s ranch. I was given the impression when we scheduled that it would take a couple of hours, understood the hourly rate and budgeted somewhere in the $350-400 range for the total body of work.
When the electrician came on Friday to do the work, he removed the fixtures but was unable to finish the job due to the heat in the attic (totally understandable and I would hate for someone to fall ill working in the attic in August). He apologized and rescheduled to come back the next morning with an hour or hour and a half more to do.
The second attempt took two hours and forty-five minutes, including cigarette breaks, on top of the hour we had already paid for on Friday.
In all, two outlets and two light fixtures took 3 hours and 45 minutes, costing more than $800. Lesson learned, beware of any estimated time for the job.

My house apparently had a main sewer line blockage. Dirty water was backing up into the shower and tub. Jacob came out to the house and in approximately an hour resolved the problem just fine. He had to first remove an interior toilet in order to snake the main sewer line. The reason for my low evaluation is the price tag. My final invoice was for $756.86. Jacob did give me the option to not hire them, however, I was between a rock and a hard place, this clog needed to be fixed ASAP. Subsequently, I did some research and in my opinion, I believe this price was excessive. If you're considering hiring these plumbers, I would simply recommend you get an additional quote(s) from someone else for comparison.

They were prompt with getting my service appt scheduled. but I felt like I was overcharged for half hour of labor time and minimal parts.

Amazing service. On time, excellent work and FAST. Justin is the Ninja Plumber. I will never use another plumber. Agree with post by Le H - they don't need to advertise, but the best builders in town refer clients to them.

The service repairman, Adam, came out to my home yesterday late afternoon after I called them a few hours prior for service on my gas hot water heater. He diagnosed the problem with the unit which required a part replacement. In under an hour, he replaced the part, tested it and even discovered a gas leak in the pipe and fixed that as well. He was friendly and polite and I'll definitely recommend Charlotte Mechanical to my friends if they are ever in need of a repairman. Thanks for a job well done and giving me hot water again!

have never in my life dealt with someone as rude as one of the technicians who was sent out to the property I rent to put in a new sewer line. There was a group of technicians who did the work and when I got home they were all sitting down on buckets eating plates of food at 4:30 in the afternoon. I asked when we would have access to the sanitary services again since we planned to have company for dinner (they came out a day early). They started to work after that. After speaking with them, I noticed that they had taken tree roots and thick pieces of tree trunk that they had cut out and put in our trash can and put at the curb. I let them know that the City will not pick that type of thing up with the trash and they needed to remove it themselves. A young technician started to argue with me and tell me they did not put those roots there, that I, in fact, had done it. Funny thing is, the reason they replaced the sewer line was because roots were growing into the old line. Another technician ended up removing them for me. When they were done with the job, I noticed a large PVC pipe sticking up out of the yard about 7 inches. It was capped. They indicated the City needed to come out and clear their side of the line, as there was a clog on the City side. He assured me he would call his supervisor and take care of that. He stated after the City took care of their issue, he would cap the line off. They never called the City. I did. Once the City finished their part of the job, I called their office and asked them to come cap the line off and finish the job to which the lady asked if I had called the rental company about it. I let them know that I should not need to call the rental company, as this was part of the job they hired them to do. She then called the technician and he said what they left was the clean out and it should be like that. He ended up coming back out and argued with myself and my husband saying it was normal. He was rude and arrogant continuing to ask, How is this? Is this what you want? What do you want? My husband had to point out to him that if he looked around, he would see that there were NO other homes that had a gigantic PVC pipe sticking out of their yard.
I would NEVER and I mean NEVER use this company if it was my money paying for them. I rent so I had no choice. Rude is putting it mildly.
