This is the second time that I am writing a review for MD PLUMBING & HEATING. My first review has disappeared.

Mike is great and very punctual.  He finds out very quickly what's going on and takes care of the problem.

I am happy I found him.

I just had Mike from MD plumbing install two new spigots in my house. Great job, nice clean install, everything works great. Fair prices, and he's a nice guy from the area. If I need plumbing work in the future he's the guy I'll be calling.

Came home yesterday to no heat and it was cold (in the 30's outside).  I called Mike (who we had previously happily used to install our hot water heater) and he was able to get to us less than 24 hours later and had it fixed and running perfect.  Ahhh! Warmth!  Will definitely be using again in the future and recommend to others!  Reasonable, professional, friendly and tells you what he'll do and why it needs to be done.

Mike came exactly when he said he would. I was having issues with sustained hot water/ water pressure. Mike explained exactly what he thought the problem was, how he would go about fixing it, and recommended a few other ways to improve the efficiency of our heater/burner (instead of just saying I needed it and charging me accordingly). I highly recommend MD plumbing and definitely will be call back to get his recommendations.

I installed a new toilet upstairs and the pipe started leaking.  Apparently the pipe below it was a lead bend. It had cracked on the top. It went into some impossibly complicated junction with the kitchen sink up in the ceiling downstairs. If I had screwed this up I would have been in a world of hurt. So I called a professional. Mike was very fast at fixing it, it would have taken me many trips to supply stores while he fashioned a fix with items on his truck. Fair rates too. Would recommend and use again.

Wow, it's been four years already? Yup, Mike's still a high-quality craftsman with pride in workmanship.

Mike is professional, courteous, knowledgable, friendly, plus he was willing to answer any questions I had, but the real PLUS, were his prices... If you need a great plumber, who is knowledgable, friendly, prompt and courteous, Mike is definitely the man you want to hire for the job! Not only was he prompt and on time, he was also willing to switch our appointment for an earlier time, when the job needed to be done much sooner! We had tried other plumbers in the area, we are still waiting to here from them, one call to Mike got the job done!

I called MD Plumbing to fix my electric water heater.  Mike was amazing in diagnosing a number of issues and efficiently resolving them.  The hot water heater was only a year old but was incorrectly installed from a previous Handy Man repair as the heater never provided adequate hot water.  He also noticed another leak in my basement and provided me guidance.  He is professional, knowledgeable, friendly and reasonably priced.  I highly recommend Mike and MD Plumbing and Heating!

Called twice on Wednesday morning when my heater stopped working and the kids were home from school and never received a call back and it is now Saturday morning.  Luckily I found another local guy who was at my house within 2 hours and heat was up and running that night.  Even if you couldn't get to me that do the professional thing to do would be call back.

We called MD Plumbing & Heating based on the previous reviews.  When we found out we had a gas leak and NG turned off our gas, we needed to find a licensed plumber to find and repair the leak.  Mike came the next morning bright and early - on a SUNDAY.  He found several issues with our gas lines and repaired them skillfully and professionally.  As new leaks were found, he handled them the same way.  He kept us informed every step of the process.  When he was done, he managed to fix a faulty toilet valve as well!

Through this multi-day process, he was timely and never made a mess in our home.  His pricing was very fair and he's also a really nice guy.  I would recommend him in a heartbeat over any other plumber I've ever dealt with.

Mike was honest, professional, and fairly priced. I sent him a message via Yelp to describe my boiler issue. He promptly called me to further discuss and confirm my address. 45 minutes later he was at my front door. It couldn't have been more than 2 hours from the time I sent him the message to the the time the job was completed. The short turnaround was just a bonus. Even if I had waited half the day, his work was so neat and efficient that it would have been well worth it. I will continue to use this company for all my plumbing and heating needs. I am at the end of the kitchen remodel when I called MD Plumbing and Heating after a kitchen contractor failed to properly install my toe kick heater on a Saturday. I came home to a house that smelled of gas so I had to shut off the heating system. I called on Sunday expecting just to leave a phone message but Mike answered the phone. He was professional courteous, and friendly. I arranged to have him quote the work. He arrived on time and went over my options for repair and explained the necessary items that would be needed. I felt confident that Mike knew how to do plumbing work and had the skills to back it up.

I hired him for the installation of the toe kick heater which occurred on Friday and hoped that the failed installation of the toe kick heater by my kitchen contractor did not cause any major problems with my heating system. I wished the answer was no but upon final installation and test of the heating system my boiler was dead. I had Mike quote a replacement boiler since the old one I had was 20+ years and replacement parts were nonexistent. He came on Sunday and installed it. I am happy to say I have heat again in my house. The new one is smaller and the new piping and vent work is professional and clean looking who knew a boiler could look so good. I have all the items the old boiler never had shut off valves that you can reach without having to be on a ladder for both water and gas, on/off switch for service and I know longer need a drip pan for water. The bonus is Mike called on Monday to make sure everything was working properly that is good customer service which is hard to find.

I will be calling Mike back to finish the plumbing work in my kitchen and for any other plumbing work I need to have done.

I found Mike on Yelp and I'm so glad I did. We needed a plumber on short notice to replace a broken toilet in my parents home. Mike promptly returned our call, listened to our problem, told us where to buy a new toilet and what kind to get, and did the job for a very reasonable $185. My parents are old and leery of plumbers since the last guy who came and replaced their kitchen faucet basically took advantage of them and ripped them off. After doing the job, Mike called us and told us how it went since we had already left town. We appreciate Mike's promptness and honesty and good customer service. We will definitely call him back to do some more repairs needed in my parents house.
