My friend was going to our cabin.  The water had been turned off.   He tried to turn it on, and it seemed to be leaking like crazy.

I did, and he responded--and then proceeded to text and call with me and my friend to solve our issue while simultaneously heading to a holiday show with his family.  

He talked my friend through the solve, and did it all for free.  

This kind of care and service is rare.   You simply can't do better than hiring Mike.

Harry is a great plumber, he replaced all of the galvanized water and drain lines in my house, now we have great flow and the drains all work. Most of the service companies are more than willing to do repairs and snake out your drain lines on a routine basis. Harry is not scared of old Cast Iron Drain lines and happily removed and relocated one of those lines. Harry does not want to come back out a second time, he does it right the first time. It has been over three years and I have not had any problems.

I had a rather quirky project that needed to be managed remotely. (My mom lives in Reno, but I'm out of state.) Steven responded to my inquiry immediately, and worked to accommodate my mom's and my unique needs. Very communicative, quick to respond, and most importantly, my mom was happy. :) 5 stars across the board. Highly recommended.

Ray called me back, unlike the many others plumbers I had left messages for. He showed up timely and was very courteous and professional! He did am excellent job and didn't price gouge me. I would definitely recommend this company!

We arrived at our Tahoe City vacation home on a Friday morning but didn't realize until late Friday afternoon that we had no hot water.  A plumber I had used in the past was not available so I tried Glencoe Plumbing & Hydronics for the first time.  Joe McDonald, the business owner, answered the phone promptly and patiently and clearly explained possible scenarios. He said he could come by right after his first scheduled stop Saturday morning.I was prepared for the cost of a replacement since the unit was older than the ten years we have had the property.

Joe called the next morning about 9:00AM from his first job site and said he was on his way and would be there in 5 minutes. He showed up, quickly diagnosed a leak that had caused the insulation to get damp and interrupt the power.  There was no attempt to oversell me on a replacement at that point - in fact he seemed genuinely glad to be able to report my good luck and quickly took care of the problem.  He was friendly and helpful in showing me exactly what happened and was exactly right in telling me how long it would take for the water to heat up and confirm the repair,  He assured me that if this did not work he would return that morning to replace the element, which was the only other possible scenario if the water didn't heat up. It worked fine.  

Based on this first experience, i believe Joe is an honest guy, a good plumber, and provided quick timely and friendly service. I will use him again and recommend you give him a call if you need plumbing services in the Tahoe area.

It's hard to find an honest plumber who really takes pride in their work, doesn't cut corners, and gets the job done RIGHT! I highly recommend him for any type of plumbing work, he knows his stuff! John installed a water meter at our pump house, then did some caulking on the roof to fix a leak at the chimney.  He was very good to work with.  He communicated well with setting up the appointment and kept in touch along the way.  He was very responsive to phone calls and texts.  He was open to ideas and allowed me to observe so I could learn.  He offered a variety of solutions.  He was easy to talk to and I felt he listened well.  He was up front about his billing and stuck with what he said.  Very reasonable.

I was happy with the install, but I discovered this morning that the refrigerator in the garage was not working.   I went to the fuse box outside and 2 of the braker switches were off.  I turned them on and hit  the reset button and the refrigerator came back on.  Could have lost a lot of food.   They moved the dryer and hooked it back up,  but it wouldn't heat.   I asked my daughter to move it from the wall and check it.   Whatever she did, it is now working.  As I said, I was happy with the install, but the other things caused a lower rating.

Paul's plumbing installed an AC system 7 years ago, and up until about 1 1/2 years ago worked fine. Since then the system has had multiple problems costing me a lot of money. Paul's plumbing recognized that the system was a lemon and that the manufacturing company was slowly going out of business and unresponsive to Paul's for replacements.  After negotiating with Paul's, they replaced my whole AC system and included a new furnace at a cut rate. I appreciated that Paul's negotiated a deal with me and took care of our problem.

Quoted a price then ordered hot water heater. When the wayer heater was delivered his price went up 20 percent. Left a embarrassing mess. I mean mud up from door to water heater. He said ooops I forgot my mop. We bought the water heater directly from the seller and he tried to charge us too. Honestly its unbelievable that there are so many good reviews.  I will say its quality work.

Incredible service.  We got into town late at night to visit our family cabin.  We found 11 broken pipes.  Bemiss Plumbing both answered the call and came to our rescue.  Incredible service, and just a great guy.  Thanks Bemiss Plumbing!

They been servicing our house well for a long time and did an amazing job in a recent emergency. While checking out a heating problem, they noticed that our sun pump was running continuously, but not really ejecting water. As it was melt season in Tahoe. That was a big problem, particularly since we were going out of town. They had a new pump in just a couple of days and came in to install it while I was on a zoom call for my business. The pump is in the basement of my office and they went back-and-forth carrying equipment, buckets, and tools not making a sound, and had the pump installed and tested in 30 minutes. It was an amazing job. I highly recommend them.

Had a clogged kitchen sink, and I'm basically at the bottom of a handyman, so I needed all the help I can get.  I was a little apprehensive about calling a plumber because I have had bad experience with Bonney before and wanted to try another company.  I was promised a 12 to 2pm time slot, but changed it after to 2-4pm.  It was after 6pm when James showed up, and even though he was late, it was worth the wait.  James was so personable, and easy to talk to.  He showed me what/where the problem is and took care of it in a jiffy.  I told him about a few of my concerns and he addressed them/took care of them for me.  I certainly recommend this company, and if you can request for James specifically, you're in good hands.

Really wanted to give this business 5 stars but after job was done one light was down still tape around the filter door.  One smoke alarm was hanging still.  It was messy around kitchen cabinets they were going to caulk around them for me!  They were very nice people!  I give them high marks for that the work they did was good.  I expected some mess because they removed popcorn ceiling I had a lot of touch up and clean up it wasn't all vacuumed up as promised.  There were 3 walls did not look good because they were splattered from paint so they painted them for me so they did try to make me happy.  But they were going to do chalking around cabinets and repaint the trap door to attic because it was painted stuck up there I ended up
Painting that myself.  Jan was great if it weren't for her I probably wouldn't have gone with them very persuasive.  Greg really did a great Job considering he was alone most of the time he was told that he would have help usually was just him he worked very hard when he was there.
Byron was great but promised stuff that never happened.  The business very nice folks but follow through gave them low earned them low marks!!

These guys have horrible service. Parts were ordered and they told my plumber they would be shipped next day. Week later no part. Then they said they had trouble locating part. 3 more days go by. Each time we have to call them. Then they said part was there but couldn't find invoice. This went on for 3 weeks with calls several times each week. I finally went down there only to be told part was never ordered, invoice was sitting on his desk, cause the Guy went on vacation.
So what were they doing when they couldn't find the invoice the 1st time and I guess they don't cover for each other when on vacation. Nor think to look on person desk if something is missing. So 1 month without hot water in the mid of winter. Oh, and no apology!!!! Horrible
