.Dave is very nice and a man of his word - The price he quoted us for a gas line install back in October was still good in February when we were finally ready to do the work. Even with some complications with the job Dave and his crew did everything they could with a smile and on time as promised. We had to do some extra things which were out of the scope of DJ&E's responsibility and they helped us find good people to help AND helped those people to get he job done - James, Dave's employee, spent several extra hours making sure things got done correctly and that we were happy - all at no extra charge. I would recommend Dave, James and their referral contractors to anyone needing work done.

We smelled natural gas in our home and called BG&E. The BG&E inspector found two very small gas leaks in the supply line feeding our furnace & hot water heater, turned off the gas and left. It was up to me to find a plumber so I called a few local plumbers and left messages. Then I tried Winegar Plumbing where a nice young lady answered my phone call and made an appointment for the next morning. How refreshing and reassuring!
The next day, the owner, Terry, arrived after calling us first. How polite! I expected him to simply inspect the job, write an estimate, and let us wait for a 'technician' to show up.
Wrong!
Terry is an honest-to-goodness plumber and he got right to it. He found the leaks, made a parts run, returned to install the new parts, and was finished in little more than an hour. The best thing? The bill was about half of what I expected.
I'd definitely recommend this plumbing company. They're polite, organized, friendly, prompt, very competent, highly professional and hard working. I highly recommend Winegar Plumbing because I'm confident they're committed to performing great work for a decent price. Give them a try!

Michael came out to our house late at night and was SO professional. He left no mess, went out of his way to be helpful and answered all our questions. Will DEFINITELY recommend and use again the next time we need a great plumber.

Rick was so nice--came right out on a Saturday morning and was totally fine when my brother-in-law came to help. He gave us great advice, checked out the situation under the house and gave us some ideas for a fix that wouldn't cost us a lot of money!

We were swindled, taken advantage of and lied to.
We are tenants in a home and our landlord (who we love and trust) hired this company to come and unclog a toilet.
They did not remove the toilet, they used a machine and said it was severely backed up and slowly draining
The charge was $600.00 for less than two hours of supposed labor. Was quoted half this cost with three other licensed plumbers in the area.
I also had to come back to our home to open the door that was already unlocked, screen door was left open and bathroom was dirty after services.
The owner of the company was unapologetic and said he stands by his pricing. He did not care that his employees were dishonest about the doors and also lied to me on the phone saying we knew the pricing up front when we did not.
May have unclogged the toilet but I'm pretty sure if I had a machine I could've done the same.

Tyree was very helpful and responsive, he was willing to come out on a weekend to give an estimate on repair or replacement of our sewer pipes. Initially we were just pursuing traditional sewer repair/replacement but now we're looking into trenchless sewer replacement so we weren't able to use T L Back Plumbing since it wasn't an option with them yet. We're very happy with their quick response and flexiblity regarding our situation.

I had some major problems in my upstairs bathroom that Steve came in and diagnosed right away, and he was great from start to finish. Pricing was reasonable and I haven't had any problems since. Thanks Steve!

I contacted North River Plumbing with an issue with my shower cartridge (part of the handle assembly) that was somewhat urgent. They took my call at 6:30 AM on a Sunday which was a relief as other plumbers I tried to contact did not answer. He said he could take care of it right away. Although I decided to try another method myself before they were scheduled to arrive and didn't end up using North River's services, I was grateful for their taking my call and following up with me while I was fixing the problem. I will likely use them if I come across a plumbing problem that I can't fix.

In the process of selling our home, we found we had several plumbing issues that required repair including a leaking hot water heater. Our realtor recommended Fluid Plumbing. I was able to speak to someone on my first call (something I do not take for granted any longer). We talked about the work, and he inquired as to when I needed the work completed. Two plumbers came out the same day and completed all the work in one visit. Brian explained everything, and I really felt like I learned a lot during the service. He also managed to fix the leak without replacing the entire system. I really trust Fluid Plumbing's work and recommend them without hesitation. Based on the number of repairs done and the time spent, the cost was very reasonable. You might be able to find cheaper, but that was why we needed repair work in the first place. Also, both plumbers were just very nice and personable guys. We were glad to give them our business.

I had a leak under my kitchen sink and contacted Wallace plumbing. Derrick responded very quickly and scheduled a time to visit. He diagnosed the issue and fixed the leak. He also installed a new garbage disposal. His rates were very fair, he was professional, and communicated well throughout the entire process. I recommend Wallace plumbing and Derrick and will use them for my future home needs!

If you're looking for efficient, professional service I recommend Hume Plumbing and Heating. They replaced our main waterline at a great price, and everything was completed timely and professional.. The workers were on time and courteous.. which deemed them as Responsible and Dependable.. they cleaned up behind themselves and I felt the owner was a honest man when he came out to access our problem.. he had permits, and inspector lined up..as well as Ms. Utility.. most importantly he's a licensed plumber.. that can be verified. This is a Honest Review/Assessment.. It is the kind of news that makes you sick to your stomach: you need an entirely new HVAC system. Heating AND air. This is the news I got from Eddie Hughes (and two other HVAC companies). We chose to use Hughes because when Eddie came to the house to give the estimate, he quickly and expertly diagnosed (and explained) the issues in terms that my husband and I could understand. He also answered multiple phone calls as we had a lot of questions.
Part of the plan was to add a large basement return which entailed cutting through drywall (you can imagine how messy that is) into a wall in our finished basement. The new return is there but you would never know it was installed that day! Matt and Steve didn't leave one speck of drywall or dust (amazingly).
I can't say enough about Hughes Mechanical and the great, honest work that they do. Do yourself a favor and use this company.

HIGHLY recommend this company. A few years ago, they installed a new HVAC system and the price and install was great. I just had a plumbing (small but important to me) emergency. the person on the phone handled the call wonderfully, a tech came right out, solved the problem and the price was fair. 10 Stars!

My faucet was not literally broken, the piece on the inside of the handle was worn. Normal wear, not neglect. I was able to find dozens of YouTube videos with people having the same issue. Your technician was lazy and did not want to be bothered. I have used Sears through my home warranty with absolutely no issues.

I called MelRoy to do 2 jobs at my house. The first, replacing a laundry tub, went well, the second was a little trickier. I had a leaking tub diverted that needed replacement. This job required a little more thought and innovation due to tight space where the pipes were located. After finishing the laundry tub installation, the plunber said he did not have enough time to tackle the diverted replacement (I had already bought the replacement diverted part). Before leaving the plumber told me the office would call and reschedule. I immediately thought he did not want to take on this job due to the effort required and sure enough, a week later, no one from MelRoy call me back. Very frustrating, since they basically cherry picked the easier Job. At that point I looked into fixing the leak and found that by replacing a couple of O-rings, with out replacing the entire inverter fixed the leak. Too bad the plumber from MelRoy could not figure that out.
I called Melroy because they are a Catonsville business. In the future I will call others because I know now, there are better choices.

This guy is totally unreliable. He gives times when he will come give an assessment or fix an issue and hours later he still doesn't come or call. When you call him, he come across as annoyed that you are frustrated with his lack of communication and inability to give a true estimate as to when he will arrive. We'll literally waited days for him to come out to service our AC during 100 degree weather.

Bad service. Voice mall full can't leave messages. Use someone else. Terrible service. Unresponsive as the other customers explained. I'm taking the company to court. Again, use someone else.

This company ignores calls, doesn't call back and more importantly DOESN'T SHOW UP. Don't waste your precious time rearranging your schedule to accommodate them.
