Ray is the absolute BEST! Ray and his guy got the job done and were very neat and tidy doing so. They are very very reasonable and very very professional. You can tell that they love what they do and want to help without breaking your pockets! They will definitely be my go to plumbers! I'm referring ALL of my friends and co workers here!

Ray Traver and Heather Kole are scammers! They claim to be a large, local, family-owned plumbing business with more than 10 years of experience. I truly believe the company is solely Ray and Heather. He lures you in with a low quote, then goes up on the quote. You request a contract and they give you the run around claiming that it was sent to your email which it clearly wasn't. We paid the initial deposit by bank card and they added $93 to the charge. That should have been the first sign of trouble. He did the work (used 3 pipes when code is 4, did not supply enough gravel to support the pipes, etc). He reduced the final price due to only replacing 20' of pipes rather than the contracted 60' of pipes. We authorized a final agreed upon payment of $1,000 and $2,400 was charged (yes, he stole $1,400). We've called this so-called 24 hour plumber at least 3 times over the past 3 days and they won't answer our calls or return them. His work was to be guaranteed for 3 years but at this point that is also out of the window. After stealing our money, and not answering our call----he isn't returning nor would we want him to.

Raymond Travers (All Above Plumbing) was hired to clear a main. The only good thing I can say about the experience was that he was quick to answer the initial call. He came to the house and tried to snake the drain - twice. He claimed that he went in 50 feet which would take it out to the county main and manhole. Then he showed me the county tap in the yard and said there was standing water in the pipe so the plug must be on the county's side of the line out to the sewer main (I didn't see the water). He said he would call the county and request a flushing.
Also at this time, he called the warranty company and said they would only reimburse $200 and I needed to pay the service charge ($45) and the remainder ($389). I wrote two checks to him personally.
He told me he would send paperwork via email (I asked for it at time of service) and left saying he would coordinate with the county and be there when they came to sort out the issue. I never received any paperwork.
The next day, I called him and he said he hadn't heard back from the county yet (meanwhile, I have an inch of sewer water in my basement). So I called the county and they said he never contacted them and I should have called them immediately and that the plumber should have know that. They sent out an emergency crew who flushed the line from the outside tap (which was empty of any standing water) to the manhole (which also was empty). I saw the hose they slid through - absolutely no blockage on the county side.
The plumber never cleared the main line, claimed it was a county issue, took payment for incomplete work, and lied about calling the county. When I confronted him with this after the county left, he said he completed the job and hung up. Yet I still have sewage water not going down the drain.
If I could give him ZERO stars, that would be my rating. Seek plumbing services elsewhere.
Demanded payment in full before completing work and never completed work, also billed my card twice as much as they said they would. They will not respond to attempts to contact them. What little work started was done completely wrong. Does not have a valid license and is the subject of multiple lawsuits from other people ripped off.

Dishonest. Assured me I was all set but I later discovered he didn't do any work on my hot water heater at all. Charged me for a part and work he simply did not do at all. It's a horrible and long story. Still fighting to get my money back. Beware.
Bad service. Voice mall full can't leave messages. Use someone else. Terrible service. Unresponsive as the other customers explained. I'm taking the company to court. Again, use someone else.
At first impressions, All Above seemed to be a professional company but their not responsive at all and they do not follow through on what they say their going to do. I had a backwater valve plumbing issue that they fixed. The positive was that they did allow me to make payment arrangements. Another positive was the technician Ray who was very professional when in my home. They had an apprentice that came out with Ray who mistakenly removed my own 75 ft. drain cleaner from my basement and when they discovered that they took mine, they just left it on my front step instead of bringing it back into my home. I did not like that Ray and his apprentice smoked cigarettes in my backyard and threw their cigarette butts away in my yard. I also did not like that they left pieces of drywall from their truck in the street in front of my home. Ray also removed the broken up concrete from my basement and just dumped it in the alley behind my home. The dumping of materials was very unprofessional and my neighborhood regardless of it being in Baltimore or predominately African American should not be littered upon as so. I've been hounding the company for a write up on my plumbing issue and have not received it as of yet. I have left phone messages on numerous occasions advising that Ray stated he would write up my issue as well as the findings during the repair and the office has not provided me with that. I am very dissatisfied with their unresponsiveness especially now after the work is done. I would not recommend All Above Plumbing to anyone.
