If you are looking for a company that is reliable, competitively priced, knowledgeable and clean, this is the one. They fixed my plumbing issue and repaired an issue that was left behind by a different plumber. Matt was personable, prompt, and made us feel at ease during his visit during the pandemic.

Quick service and affordable prices. Fixed my sink in less then 45 minutes for a great price. And as a plus the customer service was great. Will definitely be getting my business for any future plumbing issues.

As an unfortunate Christmas Eve special, when DMV area received over 2 inches of rain, the sump pump quit working and flooded the basement. Luckily we have an unfinished basement and we have only the HVAC and water heater in there. We had over 16 inches in the basement!
Luckily we got a recommendation for Van and we called him on Christmas morning. He promised to be here by 10 AM the next day. And sure enough he arrived by 9:30 AM with his wife.

He quickly assessed the situation and for to work right away - took out the old sump pump, installed a temporary pump to drain all the water (enough to fill a swimming pool), and then install a new sump pump.

There was a second drain in the basement that was clogged too. Van was able to use an electric snake and unclog this drain :)

It took quite a bit of work but Van finished it in good time and installed the  new sump pump cleanly.

We are really happy with the work done by Van and highly recommend him for any future work.

They were really easy to schedule with they came in did a great job it was quick and hassle free... duct cleaning seems like one of those things you dont think about but it is so essential to get done

During a recent furnace inspection we were told that our hot water heater needed replacing. Their quote was $3,200 which seemed high to me. Got a second quote from Honest Abe and they were in the same ball park. Got a recommendation to get one more estimate from Danny at Ably Plumbing. He did the job for about half of what the others were quoting. On top of that he was very responsive, arriving when he said he would and following through on everything. He will be our plumber going forward!

I can't say enough good things about Chris and Five Star Plumbing. I had my polybutylene pipes replaced and the experience couldn't have been better. Chris showed up when he said he would for the estimate and the repair, he was very polite and got the job done fast and for a very reasonable price. Chris always wore booties in the house to protect the carpets and was always willing to answer any questions we had. After completing the repair Chris made sure the dirt was raked so you can barely even tell there was a big hole in my yard! Five Star Plumbing exceeded my expectations and made the process so simple. I would definitely recommend them and plan on using them for any future plumbing needs.

Allen and his team are honest, reliable, and fair. As a woman its always difficult to find a fair and reasonable professional - but, we found that in Allen.

My faucet in my bathtub had to be replaced because
I could not access my shower properly.  The water
cane out of the faucet & shower @ the same time.
I asked 2 other plumbers to fix it but since it was a
small job they were not interested.  I called Hamilton
after reading the reviews & was so very happy it was
fixed that I can shower with the full amount of water.
Plus, I received an estimate on another project down
the road.  A true learning experience.

I would be a fan if they had arrived on time. Evidently an emergency had come up. But they were due at 0800 and got here at 1030 and I had to call them at 930 to see what was up. Not a good start. But the two guys that arrived went straight to work for an hour (then took a 30 minute lunch break which I thought was odd, but people gotta eat I guess). On their return they finished and cleaned up after themselves (although come on put the toilet seat down:)
New Payne Heating and AC system in place. Also, they had the best price in town for what I bought and I had at least 5 quotes. Would have been a fan (4 stars) if they had arrived on time. Will update in 6-12 months on the product.

Two great experiences with AJ Michaels. We had issues with our older furnace both last year and this winter. Both times the men who came were quick, to the point and professional. The repairs were minor and they only charged the fee to come to the home. It was a good experience to trust a company not to jack up the price for an easy fix.

Got me out of a emergency, did what they said, very knowledgeable and communication was excellent!

Don't seek service from this plumbing company. I called to have a leak in my condominium fixed. The plumber arrived and did nothing but go into the basement to look at the piping and cut a large hole into the dry wall in the bedroom adjacent to the kitchen. A plumber from my condo association came and quickly discovered the leak was stemming from a refrigerator hose that leads to the ice maker. Calvert is a rip of and a joke. I'm almost tempted to file charge back on my credit card.

This review isn't for Abbott Brothers' plumbing services, because I wasn't able to actually get a plumber to my house. I made an online appointment for Friday and immediately got a confirmation that someone would come look at a possible sewer gas leak from 12-2 PM. I waited until 3 PM before calling the company because no one arrived or contacted me. The office didn't provide me with a reason as to why no one showed up or why I wasn't contacted. Instead, they said someone would be in contact with me shortly. I received a text a few hours later asking if Sunday between 9-11 AM worked. I agreed. Unfortunately, 11 AM passed and the same thing happened -- no one showed up or called. Not sure what happened, but 2 no show/no calls is highly unprofessional. If you know you're not coming, have the decency to call so people can make other plans or use another business. Obviously, after two chances, I won't be using Abbott Brothers again.
