Niall came out and had an issue -that had been taking me days to figure out- taken care of and fixed within 45 min. Wish I called them sooner!

Lee ca e and did a thorough inspection to find the problem and repaired it quickly and quite reasonably.  He and his helper were prompt, courteous and knew what they were doing!  They are now my electricians of choice!!!

Service Pro was very quick to respond with next day availability (if I used their services) with a very reasonable quote. Once Mike came to the house, he was very professional as well as accommodating by wearing booties and face covering. He troubleshooted and fixed my 5 outlet issues and also secured on one of the ports. While here, Mike also switched out an old bathroom light to a LED light which made room much brighter. Will definitely be using Service Pro going forward and recommend their services.

Quoted $250 to run 1ft of 240v wire, replace a breaker, and nema 14-50 connector. 30 minute job, $50 in parts. Offered $175, refused. Left garage and breaker panel a mess.

I hired Frank Electric to fix a bad GFCI outlet in my bathroom.  I also wanted him to upgrade two lights to flush-mounted LED lighting in my dining and living room.  He added two dimmer switches too.  He was able to do the job promptly and got lights to match the ones already in the kitchen.  I would hire him again for all my electrical needs in future.  He was also mindful of Covid precautions and wore a mask.  Sla'inte to Frank!

We are so grateful to Romo of E.R. Electric.  We had an electrical problem that shut off our air conditioning during a heat wave when we had a house full of guests.  Our long-time previous electrician had moved, so we called E.R. Electric.  Romo came to our house within one hour of our call on a Saturday.  He expertly diagnosed and fixed the problem and charged a very reasonable rate.  He was great at explaining the electrical problem to us.  E.R. Electric is now our new go-to company when we have electrical problems.

I have a 1961 mobile that had been remodeled and rewired many times. Switches didn't work and no one could figure it out. Primo showed up on time, sorted it all out and now everything works as it should. Stayed within my budget too!

I needed a lot of electrical work done to get a 220 V hot tub  connected in my backyard. As this was something new to me I was not aware of what was needed, however, Chris at McWay Electric was very knowledgeable and walked me through the process, and explained everything throughout. The whole process was very smooth and the connection looks great. Chris is very professional and easy to work with. I would highly recommend McWay electric and plan on contacting Chris for future projects.

They work on our kitchen recessed lights a few months ago and they did a great job. A few days ago, one of the lights started flickering and I sent an email to Dean about it and he got it fixed in a few minutes, same day! I give them 10 stars if I could, very reputable company!

Of all the myriad of places I reached out to, Point Loma Electric was the quickest to get back to me. That means a lot to someone like me who is always on the go. It seems they really wanted my business and it stuck in my head even when I called them back two months later! Speaking with the customer service representatives was great. Brandy and Mary were really great to work with. They were very responsive and informed me with reminders and updates as they were made available.
 Greg came out to fix a ceiling flush mount light that wasn't working. After assessing the problem it took him about an hour to fix. He was a little late due to a previous job and acknowledged and apologized. Love that. It means a lot to recognize that other people's time is valued. Nevertheless Greg was the consummate professional. He even gave me a credit for the full cost of the job, about 300 dollars so that if I decided to go a different way with the light in the future I wouldn't be double charged for the work. Incredible. He was also very engaging with conversation and we talked about the NBA playoffs while he worked.
 All this coupled with the fact that Point Loma Electric retains a BBB rating of A+ and has numerous other reviews on other platforms really makes me feel good that I went with them. What a great experience. Can't wait to have them back for other projects in the future!

Pricing is the best among a dozen of quotes that I received. Looks very knowledgeable and has installed many of these.

James is very professional & I agree with all of the other reviews on Yelp!  We have an old house & a Pandora's box of electrical chaos inside the walls!  We really needed a professional to make sense of it all...Custom Electric is our solution to that!

Roddy responded to my Yelp request for quotes.  His price was reasonable.  He was very responsive, kept in touch while I was getting my fan, very punctual on the day of the install.  Very honest no drama solid professional.  Will definitely use his service again when there's a need.

It was a classic nightmare scenario. We'd just bought our new dream home. The inspection had picked up a couple small things, but overall said the electrical wiring was in great shape. Then we go on Yelp to hire an electrician to do what we think is a minor job. I still remember where I was standing when I hear his report is that our wiring is a mess, and that any minute our house could burn down! Only remedy seems to be a bill in the thousands of dollars!!! #@!@&*$ PANIC!

LUCKILY we got a couple second opinions, including James. My dad (who has built two houses from the ground up himself) met with each of them and as soon as James came by he called me at work to say this was our guy. James gave a thorough run down of everything that needed work, completely allied our fears about what was and WASN'T needed, and then quickly did the work for less than what the other guy was going to charge just to trouble shoot. Moreover, he emphatically recommended an option (which needed a gas guy, not an electrician) that would save us $2500+ that guy #1 had never mentioned. Very, very grateful we found him!
