Best Electricians in San Diego, CA

I got bids from four different companies and Brilliant was by far the best - almost half of some of the others!  Alfredo was very concerned about aesthetics and suggested some things that others neglected and made the 220 installation much more attractive, all at no extra cost.  His guys, Jose and Caesar, were on time and a pleasure to work with.  They were neat, polite and completed the project on time.  Later, when we encountered a problem, they came back and helped us get it corrected even though it was not their fault!   All I can say is I will use them again and recommend them to anyone who needs electrical work at a fair price!

First time customer today, and I'm so pleased. I took advantage of their call board in case they had an earlier appointment for me, and sure enough, they got me in sooner than my appointment. Kevin came by today to handle a dropped neutral connected to the garbage disposal, and two recessed lighting cans where the socket had become loose. He was fast, friendly and came in under the estimate. Being a resident of OB, I was looking for someone local, and they didn't disappoint. Definitely my first call next time I've got some electrical work to do.

My *only* complaint is that although they accept credit cards, they don't use Square or any mobile payment solution, so the tech ends up writing your credit card number on the receipt for later processing. That seems weird in 2017, and if that info gets misplaced, could be problematic - but next time I'll just have cash available.

I had a few outlets that went out which caused other rooms to not work. I called Daniel and he quickly made time to come by to analyze the problem and fixed everything. He also put up an indoor light and fixed two outside lights on my garage.

He did a great job, was super professional. His prompt same day service was amazing. If you need electrical work done, I definitely recommend him!

Needed to replace my tub faucet, he came out after hours to fix it.

I was fortunate Ocean Electric was able to come the same day I called. They fixed my living room outlets that stopped working. I was also interested in getting a security camera installed in the future and he gave me some great recommendations to help save me some money. I highly recommend Ocean Electric and will definitely use them in the future if I have any other electrical issues. They were fast, reliable, responsive, and knew what they were doing. Their price was also reasonable.

Kelley is the type of person I love to work with.  She is quiet and simply takes care of the job!  The MOST important part of working with Kelley is her honesty.  We asked Kelley to install 3 ceiling fans in our home and 2 went smoothly to completion.  However, on the third one, she ran into an issue in our 66 year old home, where there were two circuits running into the box, and unfortunately, had wiring so old it could not be used.  In this case, Kelly indicated that she should not proceed, but that we should get a licensed and insured electrician to assess the current wiring and repair/replace if needed.  This level of honesty is critical, as she could have proceeded, but we could have ended up with bigger issues down the road with the wiring.

Kelley is a pleasure to be around and I HIGHLY recommend her for handywoman jobs around your home.  Kelley will be open and honest about what she should or should not do in your home, and this is extremely import ant in the case above.

Richard made time to come out right away for a safety concern regarding my electrical wiring. He was professional and personable. He made me feel comfortable and took the time to explain everything to me. I already scheduled my next appointment with him.

My lights inside my house were freaking out from time to time, I ignored.  Blink of an eye power outages occurred inside the house, I ignored.  The electrical components of my washer fried, I ignored.  However, the last straw was when the power going out when I pressed power on my new washer.  I called the electrician and he came out, same day. It turned out the panel outside got corroded due to the salty air.  These guys were quick to provide a temporary fix and were awesome at coming out for a full panel replacement.  Prompt work, clean work, cool guys... can't complain.

Gerardo was easy to get a hold of and was on time. He helped answer a lot of questions i had pertaining to the way everything was wired up in my home. He was very courteous and professional. Fixed my electrical problem within 30 minutes. I highly recommend National City Electric and i will not hesitate to call these guys again if another problem occurs.

We had them install a ceiling fan and outdoor motion light along with some other small tasks. They did a great job and were very friendly and professional. Highly recommended!

Carlos and Chad did an awesome job with the recess lighting installation at my place. Got them installed in 2 rooms and one of them was the room with the high ceiling. They did such a meticulous job, covering the entire rooms and the pathway all the way and making sure no dust falls on the sofas and other items. Highly recommend them, they are very efficient and also great electricians.

We lost power to our garage, which included an extra fridge, our car chargers, and the irrigation system.  And of course it happened on a Sunday.  Alex responded quickly to my online request and got someone over to the house within a couple hours.  Jose was quick and efficient and got the burnt out socket replaed and the circuit up and running again in no time.  Totally saved the day!  I will definitely use Alex Lopez Electric again.

He was my 2nd call as the first electrician who scheduled with me flaked out and I was wondering if I could get anyone to come. He came within the timeframe he stated. He was very friendly, professional and efficient and I am very happy with his work.

I have used and recommended Zapp Electric and have not been disappointed. After a little mix up on my last appointment, the issue was solved. What I needed done was going to be more extensive and expensive then I had realized. The electrician was able to do a safe fix which I was happy with and I was not charged for the visit.

Randy fixed 10 faulty outlets in my home for a fraction of what other companies wanted to charge. 2 hours worth of work came out to less than what most companies charged just to assess the job. Unbelievably friendly, COVID compliant, and very professional! If you have any electrical projects or issues, Randy is the electrician to call!
