Alfredo and his guys were AWESOME!  

I needed a few things done in my house in regards to some electrical work.  I actually tried to get in touch with a past company I had used before but they were delayed in responding so I thought I would give Brilliant Electric a try.  I am glad I did!  I called Alfredo and set up an estimate for the following day.  He came by, right on time, surveyed my job and gave me a quote to do the work.  I needed 2 ceiling fans replaced and a few outlets fixed up.  We set up an appointment for a few days later.  It turned out that they actually could get it done sooner than expected so that was a score in my book.

Alfredo sent out Cesar and Jose.  I thought I recognized Cesar when he came up to the door but I didn't say anything.  A little bit later, he mentioned to me that my house looked familiar.  Turns out that he actually installed a vent fan and did some other electrical work for me in the past with a different company.  Small world.  Anyways...... The guys installed my ceiling fans and got my outlets hooked up.  They didn't waste any time, did a FANTASTIC job and were cool guys too.  We shot the shit about a whole bunch of things while they were working.

They respond quick, do great work, are really friendly plus have great rates!  That is everything you want in an electrician!  I will definitely be using them again if I need any more electrical needs!

The GFCI outlet in the kitchen wasn't responding correctly and being nervous I called the electrician in town. He tried to trouble shoot my problem over the phone, but thankfully I insisted he come out.  He explained that many times people don't understand the purpose of the GFCI and the service call is wasted, but not in my case.  After poking around in a few areas, he located and corrected my issue.  I would not hesitate to call this company again.

Though it was over the weekend, Daniel came and fixed the problem (there was shorting) right away.  Highly recommended!

I've called Darrell for 3 very different jobs already and he's been great. I highly recommend him. First job, he installed a bidet for my house. It was a hard job because of how the plumbing is set up in the bathroom but he got it done! Next, I called him for an electrical issue and he fixed it with ease. I just called him again for a clogged drain that I couldn't unclog with a snake. He fixed it! He's reliable and does work at a reasonable price

Can't say enough about John and his team at Ocean Electric.  I needed a panel upgrade on my fixer upper and once a permit was issued, John dropped everything to accommodate my schedule defined by the SDGE disconnect date.  He located all of the equipment needed for the job, much of it extremely hard to find given the pandemic, removed my ancient panel and installed a new one quickly and efficiently.  He made several suggestions along the way that will allow for a much easier renovation and solar install down the road.  SDGE ran nearly 3 hours late for their reconnect and John waited patiently for them to return, had me back up and running within mutes of their departure.  Best of all, his price of the job was well below the other estimates I received.

My new handy-person!  Kelley knows her stuff. I needed something to seal the gap between the bottom of my security door and the ground. With the weather so nice, I wanted to keep my front door open, but if I did that, I would have had unwelcome visitors, like lizards, just wander in. I called numerous other places, all of whom ignored me.  Not Kelley.  She came out, added a piece to the bottom of the screen and you can't even tell....plus she weather-stripped my door from the kitchen to the garage.  Because she was so quick and good, I asked her to come back and paint my fence.  She did a BEAUTIFUL job.  I have an older home and a lot of little things that need to be fixed, plus, I sometimes mess things up myself.  Now I can rest a lot easier knowing Kelley will be there to fix anything I can wreck.  Thanks Kelley!  I am sure I will see you soon.

if i could get them more than 5 stars i would!!! Absolutely amazing customer service from the beginning to the very end. i called around asking for several quotes And Richard was the ONLY one that was actually friendly and explained everything to me step by step. He also broke everything down cost wise. Which  I appreciate because the other companies just came up with a random price but when i asked for a breakdown they couldn't give me that. I will never use anyone else for my electrical work and i will refer everyone who needs work done to you!! Thank you so much Richard!!

Jay and his team rewired my house and did the electrical work for our interior remodel.  They consistently exceed expectations - he and and his team thought ahead about needs and offered great suggestions vs. just blindly following instructions.  They worked tirelessly to make sure the jobs were done on time and the work quality was excellent.  I'd highly recommend them.

I'm no expert but I know a thing or two about (basic) wiring. Tried my hand at ceiling fans this weekend and ran into a snag on the last one. As a do-it-yourselfer I swallowed my pride and made the call to see how much the damage would be to have someone do it for me. Most of the work was done and he (I'm sorry I didn't catch his name) gave me a fair price to come finish up. But as we talked he understood what it was I needed to do and TALKED ME THROUGH IT!! I can't imagine many companies taking the time to explain wiring over the phone when the option to just show up and do it for you-charging and arm and a leg meanwhile- is there. I'm very pleased with the customer support and without a doubt, I now have an electrician go to. Thank you so much for your help! I would've spent hours in my attic scratching my head trying to figure out what I was doing wrong!!

This was my first time working with this company but they were very responsive to my messaging, planned a visit time that was convenient with my schedule, provided a fair and accurate quote, and performed quality work. After shopping around, this company had the best pricing, very professional staff, no upsell with good advice on best solutions, hardworking and friendly electricians, and just excellent service.  Had to wait a few weeks for an appointment, but very glad I did. After office confirmed their arrival a day before, Vince and his coworker arrived on time. They prepped each room with protective sheeting, and did a great job installing recessed LEDs in 4 rooms (including some minor patch & texture in 1 room), fixing bath exhaust fans, adding separate switches, and replacing an outdoor GFCI. They thoroughly cleaned up after the job was finished. Highly recommend.

Alex rewired our older home and did a great job. We brought him back a second time for some additional outdoor lighting, outlets, and a video doorbell. If we need work in the future, we will call him again without hesitation.

They came today and provided Amazing service and super honest with everything we needed. He fixed the problem immediately. Very knowledgeable and I highly recommend this company. Will be using them for any electrical needs and will definitely be recommending to friends and neighbors.

George and Sal came by to fix 3 outlets for my condo and to upgrade my doorbell transformer to a 16VAC-30VA for my hardwired Oufy Security video doorbell.  They communicated well when they were arriving a little later than the appointment time and stayed to ensure the doorbell video was working properly.  George honored the price quoted via Yelp and the pricing offered to me was very fair compared to what was offered by others.  Am pleased with the work they did and will definitely hire them again in the future.

Eric and son installed two outdoor outlets for us and also connected and mounted our EV charger.  Friendly, professional service.  We will use them again.

This company is fantastic!! I have had multiple calls out to other electricians, but this company definitely came through.  The first time they arrived was to give me a quote, which was great because they video what you are getting done, so when the person shows up they know what they are doing.
When they came to do the work, they were prompt and informative.  Shane was great at communicating and ensuring what we wanted to have done.  He was responsive and worked hard to get the job done.  
I highly recommend this company to anyone who is looking for an electrician.

I needed an outlet behind my stove when replacing a gas stove with our new electric one. Randy was there to help and was very responsive and professional. Showed up on time and did a great job.
