Nathan came out and installed an outlet for a car charger. He was on time, did a walk around my property before deciding what materials to use, and made sure he had all the information from me before absolutely crushing the work.

Mister Electric's workmanship and knowledge are outstanding.  He installed 2 security lights for us.  One of them was very challenging - it required installing a light in a area where there was no power.  Vilmos ran the power from inside the house and brought it to the security light area several feet away.  His craftsmanship was remarkable.  He ran the wire through a PVC conduit that matched the color of the house so that the wiring would not be noticeable to passerbys.  I don't know of another electrician who could have done the job as professionally or artfully.  We feel very fortunate that we learned of Vilmos through a neighbor for whom he installed a ceiling fan. I recommend Mr. Electric to anyone who values knowledge and craftsmanship in their electrical projects.  I would give him 6 stars if that was available.

Had another guy try and wire an ac outlet, HDMI and speaker wire for a home theater.  Had to have him stop after he had started.  He cut a big hole in my drywall and said the wires couldn't be fished.  Would have to open up the ceiling at each rafter to run it.
Had Joe come out.  He saved the day.  Ran the outlet, HDMI, and speaker wire.  He was able to fish all of it without cutting a piece of drywall.  He even found a recessed tv outlet box that was big enough to cover the hole the other guy had cut in my ceiling.  Had him install a hanging light and a fan/light in another room as well.  I'll be using Joe for all my electrical needs from here on out.

I needed some same day work done, called Chris and he was more than happy to fit me into his day. Got back to me when he said he would, arrived on time, had all his supplies and was quick and pleasant! Kinda a goofy personality but really knows his stuff. I will definitely be calling him again if I need something done!

We had an attic fan installed on Tuesday.  It was a bit noisy, but the installers let us know that the thermostat was set for 90 degrees, so once the attic temperature got to that temperature it would shut off.  Well it did NOT shut off.  In fact, it has not shut off once in over 24 hours since they installed it!  And since it is installed over our bedroom and sounds like an airplane, we have already had one sleepless night and are going into another.  The product is obviously faulty, but when my husband called them today to have them come out again, they said that they would not be out until Friday.   I tried to call them back to get them out sooner to at least turn the darned thing off, but all I am getting is their answering service.  Left a message, but no one has called me back.  So now we are looking at our second sleepless night due to THEIR faulty product.  To make matters worse, since they would not come out to shut off the fan, out of desperation my husband went up into the attic space to see if he could find the shut off switch, but didn't get there because he ended up stepping through the ceiling in our bedroom!  So now we have a hole in the ceiling of our bedroom, an attic fan that sounds like an airplane, and several sleepless nights ahead of us!  Terrible product and terrible service!

Excellent work and very nice, neat job.  Miguel not only was very competitive with his rate, but he performs a very high quality level of work.  I'm excited to have him come back and take care of future projects for me.

Kwan Gartin was professional and so courteous installing our Tesla Wall connector. He was so patient to make sure the Wi-Fi worked and connected! Their prices are reasonable and we plan to use them for another connector for our refrigerator. We definitely will recommend this place for anyone who needs any kind of electric installation needed! Rudy is an amazing electrician.  Bottom line - he completes the job you ask him to do excellently, and at the same time, he explains what he is doing and why he is doing it.  He even offered to help troubleshoot over the phone if needed.  If you want your job done right with a contractor who cares deeply about his work and your satisfaction - CALL RUDY'S ELECTRIC!!!

STAY AWAY!!!  The saying birds of a fleather flock together has been verified after my experience with my kitchen contractor recommending Tony from Brite Electric.  They both did a number on me.  

My kitchen cabinet installer, who butchered my cabinets and admitted he had no idea how to do Ikea cabinets after having said he just did an Ikea kitchen the week before, recommened Tony to do the electrical for the kitchen as I needed new outlets and wiring.  At that point  I didn't know the kitchen guy was a hack, and I was on a tight timeline so I went with Tony even though his price was high.  He comes across as being very sharp and personable.  I suppose those are the ones you have to be careful of.

Tony charged me $1500 to wire up most of the kitchen.  The job took his employee James about 4-5 hours as most of the walls were open so he could do things pretty easily.  Here are the issues that arose:

1) They used 8 gauge wire for a 50 amp cooktop.  Per CA code a 50 amp appliance requires 6 gauge wire.  This is a big no-no.  It really is pathetic as the thicker gauge would have cost maybe $30 more.

2) They used a 8 gauge 2 conductor wire for the oven, when it requires a 8 gauge 3 conductor wire.  Per CA code if you had existing 8-2 wire you could reuse it, but it is much safer to use 8-3 and it is a code requirement when wiring new.  Again, they cheaped out.  This would have cost maybe $15 more.  They probably just didn't have any with them and figured I would never know.

3) They used a 50 amp breaker on a 30 amp appliance (over).  This defeats the whole point of having a breaker and is a serious problem.

4) They left a mess everywhere.  When they drilled through joists they didn't bother to vacumn anything up.  They even left their Jambu Juice cup from lunch.

5) They did not patch or cover any of the drywall holes they made.  This is unacceptable for the amount I paid and they never told me otherwise.  I then had to pay the kitchen contractor $150 to patch some drywall holes.  I think it was a total scam between them.

6) Most of the outlets were not lined up and visually off.  I had to pay somebody else to move them later.

7) The price!  I paid what amounted to probably $300/hr.   What is worse his original quote was $2100.  I'm such an idiot.

Here is where it gets fun.  After I discovered that his job was totally subpar I called to figure out a resolution.  At first he totally rebuffed me and said everythign he did was to code and he works on million dollar homes as does the same thing (this means this was not a one-off but he does illegal work regularly).  After I very specifically pointed things out he offered to send me a small amount of money.  I then told him there were more issues than I even previously knew about and the amount he was offereing was inssuficient.  At that point he stopped responding to me.  

BBB, contractor's board, and small claims court here I come!  If anbody has any questions about this review feel free to contact me.

OMG!!! This company is phenomenal!  We had to update our old radiant ceiling heating system and were at the end of our budget. We had totally remodeled our home and spent enough money as it was. Then we had to deal with bypassing the old system and having electric box heaters installed into the walls in 4 rooms. Scary as they would need to cut into the walls to do this.  After 5 other bids from local Electricians that would come out and ask us electrical questions we could not answer (which honestly scared us off) or saying they could probably do the the job) we found Service Rite Electric. They came out right away, told us what needed to be done and what type of power our system could support. They had an estimate in writing to us within the hour via email and came out the next day to do the work. They were finished in 2.5 hours and not one bit of mess! The new wall heaters looked gorgeous and work perfectly and since they finished in half the time, they took off $350.00 dollars!! Yes I definitely recommend this company! Fair, fast and friendly.

Great guy, professional and quick! We called him early on a Saturday morning, not expecting for him to be up and ready to work... he came over right away and fixed our vintage lamp in a jiffy. Highly recommended!

This is the second time I have used Dave and his crew. I was hoping the first time was not an anomaly. My wife got one of those new jet engine hair dryers that were tripping the breaker all the time. So I called RK for help. Dave came in to size up the job - even took the time to understand the problem so that he could provide an appropriate solution. He quoted the job then took the time to explains the job very clearly so there is no misunderstanding it was almost a college level tutorial on basic electronics.  His crew came in and got the job done, cleans up and very professional. My wife and I were in the middle of a remodel and had bee using another handyman service. The job turned out to be too much for one crew and I called Gunner to help finish up the project. I started to give him  more work when I saw the quality of his work  and professionalism . Very good all around knowledge. We contracted Gunner for some electrical work and ended up having hime finish our garage with drywall, texture and paint. Will be using Anthem again soon on another project. Have already recommended him to my neighbors.
