Best Electricians in San Diego, CA

I've had Volt Electric work on our residence two times within the last year and am BEYOND PLEASED with the results. After a tree fell on our property during a nasty storm and consequently ripped out our electrical panel, Volt Electric was there immediately, all afternoon and into the late evening to finish the job and make sure power was restored to our house so we could have heat for the night. On the second trip out, we had wiring issues (nothing uncommon for an older house in historic Escondido) and Nick stayed again late into the evening crawling through my attic tracing wires to eliminate the problem and get our power safely back up and running. In this day and age, its very hard to find an electrician (or any trade for that matter) that is as dedicated and professional as Volt Electric. Volt Electric's work ethic is far superior to anyone else we have used in the past, so I have no hesitation recommending them as THE go-to electrician of choice! They get 5 stars FOR SURE!!!

Okay, we were in the midst of a bathroom renovation project and found that the vanity light wasn't centered above the sink. Our tile guys had done an outstanding job but, they just weren't electricians and work on the final stage had stopped because of this.

I sent out a few bids with photos and got an immediate response from Nathan (approximately 5 minutes later).

Now, it gets better. I made an appointment for that Saturday and Nathan shows up exactly on time. He enters the bathroom and within about 30 minutes he's done. The​ light is moved, the drywall that he removed was flipped 180 and reinserted to match the space that he cut, and the problem was solved.

I mean I had guys tell me they would have to tear out the wall, it would have to wait for​ a week, they needed to see more photos and inspect it at my cost first. No, Nathan was sincere and a professional, he did the job and was ready to move on, polite and on point.

Bill is a close-by neighborhood treasure. He has been helping us for years with electrical projects inside and outdoors. Today he installed a new chandelier, for which he also had to rewire the ceiling. Bill is honest and punctual, and tends to stop by quickly to provide you with a fair quote. Whilst working in your home he is courteous and tidy, and he takes great care to protect the area he is working in. I highly recommend him to anyone, and I would trust him with my keys.

Very efficient installation of my Tesla charger. They arrived exactly on time at the early end of the arrival window and finished the job in two hours. Very nice personable installers and the price was very competitive. Highly recommended!

Had another guy try and wire an ac outlet, HDMI and speaker wire for a home theater.  Had to have him stop after he had started.  He cut a big hole in my drywall and said the wires couldn't be fished.  Would have to open up the ceiling at each rafter to run it.
Had Joe come out.  He saved the day.  Ran the outlet, HDMI, and speaker wire.  He was able to fish all of it without cutting a piece of drywall.  He even found a recessed tv outlet box that was big enough to cover the hole the other guy had cut in my ceiling.  Had him install a hanging light and a fan/light in another room as well.  I'll be using Joe for all my electrical needs from here on out.

Found Direct Electric while searching for Quiet Cool Whole House fan installers. I chatted with the owner online who was very helpful. I received a quote online and John set me up with an installation date. Justin was the installer. They were extremely punctual and completed the work in about an hour. We had 2 Stealth fans installed. Our biggest concern was the noise from our old fan. These new fans are so quiet that we forgot at times they were even on. They cool the house down very well. We are extremely pleased with Direct Electric and their professional response to our needs.

Miguel came out late on a Friday night to help me with a electrical mystery...my kitchen lights just went out all at once!  He was quick to figure out the issue...faulty light switch, replaced the switch, checked all the lights and outlets in the kitchen to make sure no other problems.  Such a nice man, reasonably priced and knows his stuff!

Izack and his crew were the best. Not only were they the best price out of all the quotes I received, but they were extremely professional. Called to confirm appointment, arrived on-time, worked efficiently and clean everything up. I definitely recommend Hit the Lights!

Thanks for the help! I had 3 wall outlet that were not working. He came to my house on time, found out it was only a trip GFI. He didn't even charge me a penny!!!

Evan and Kwan arrived exactly as scheduled and was wearing face masks. They asked where I wanted the charger placed and started working right away. Once they were finished they sent me a text message and took me thru the wifi pairing process. They were both very professional and helpful. Kwan even pointed out to me that my power panel labels were misplaced and if there were any issues that I would be able to call them. It was my first time using Yelp and it proved to be invaluable. I called Joel after dealing with an ongoing lighting problem in our kitchen for the past year.  Within a couple of hours Joel had corrected a number of issues and had our kitchen lights working again.  He is very professional, knowledgeable and affordable.  Will definitely use him again and recommend him to family and friends.

Rudy is an excellent electrician.  He has done numerous jobs for us, rewiring a garage, putting in new electric outlets, upgrading electrical wiring that was funky, and trouble shooting an old duplex in Del Mar.  He is the best and I wish he had a twin who was a plumber!  He is friendly, helpful, and explains everything in plain English to the electrically challenged.  If you need a good electrician, hire him.

Tony and his assistant Jorge just installed 4 ceiling fans w/remotes in my home and did a wonderful job! Three of them did not have existing wiring so they had to do that also. I almost bought a deal from Angie's list for an electrician but I'm glad I did some research on Yelp and found Brite electric. It was a much more reasonable price.

In the past,  I have not had great luck with electricians.   Recently, Jason from Service Rite came to our place and installed LED lighting under my kitchen cabinets and replaced some switches.   He installed two Panasonic Whisper fans in my bathroom with new switches.    He was professional, courteous, punctual and did a great job.   I highly recommend him and this company.

Lucian is a very hard working individual who pays attention to details.  We bought a light fixture from restoration hardware that had to be returned for flaws several times.  He installed the light fixture, a dimmer for our dining room and a ceiling fan in our bedroom.  He was terrific and I would recommend him to anyone who needs electrical work.

RK Electric was the bomb! Dave called me a couple of days after he was referred to me by my landscape contractor and showed  up on time to give me a quote. He turned what seemed to be a complicated situation of getting electrical to my new Spa and adding plugs to my backyard into a simple solution. when I came home the work was done and he called me later that night to see how I would like to pay and voila  - project completed. He was courteous and thorough...I highly recommend!

I used Anthem Handyman service to install a ceiling fan. Gunner came to do the install and was so professional and polite. He installed the fan so fast and efficiently that he was in and out in an hour! I'll definitely use him again.
