Best Electricians in San Diego, CA

Cano Electric Electrician
Hector did a great job. Prices are reasonable and quality is awesome. I would recommend him for any electrical projects. He installed vanity lights and fans and his prices beat other quotes I received. I will use him again for future projects.

HB Electric Electrician
Updating the review to reflect HB's experience in installing EV charging stations.  We were one of the first about four years ago and they've done many since then for all types of vehicles.  We're also doing some additional work in our home with HB.  As always, prompt and fair.

Harris Electric Electrician
Joe from Harris electric was great. We had had other electricians try to fix the same electric problems in our house but he was able to do it right the first time! He was professional, up front, honest and made the whole process easy. I would highly recommend him to any and everyone. We will definitely use him again !

O'Hagan Electric Electrician
We had some problems with outdoor lights.  Stephen and team came out and fixed the problem in about 15-30 minutes.  I've used O'Hagan Electric on 3 separate occasions and they've always come through.   It's always been an easy process.  Schedule appointment, diagnose, fix and pay.

City Electric Works Electrician
I'm a commercial property manager, and I've been working with City Electric Works for a few years now. I'm repeatedly impressed with the level of professionalism and service that we receive from Jeff and his team.

I often bid out electrical jobs from exterior lighting to tenant improvements- especially in this economy, to make sure I'm not getting gouged. This company almost always comes in at the lowest rate, with the shortest lead time on getting things done. There have even been a few times where they've even found less expensive ways to fix problems and save us money. I think they are able to undercut other larger firms because are a small operation without a ton of overhead.

I'm a manager, not  contractor, so I have to rely on these types of contractors to explain to me in layman's terms what's going on so I can make a good decision for the property owner. Jeff and his guys are always willing to take the time to make sure we understand what they found during their investigation and what needs to be done to make things right.

It's vital that any vendor I send onto a property exhibits respect and courtesy to my tenants, and I have gotten nothing but positive feedback after sending these guys out to take care of things. That's rare, since most tenants have at least something to whine about when work needs to be performed in or around their space.

Inception Electric Electrician
If you are looking for any electrical work done, look no further! The team (Marco, Diego, Andrea, and Josh) did a phenomenal job.

The team was knowledgable, patient, and very kind. They upgraded our main panel, installed an EV charger, replaced a chandelier, reworked our garage outlets, and removed our ceiling fans. Their worksmanship speaks for themselves and represent a high ethical standard. Not to mention, their prices are of great value.

I will get all my electrical work done with the team over at Inception Electric for life. Thanks everyone!

FLAKE
After making plans 5 days before our scheduled project, Eden flaked on me.  I set aside my Saturday and was ready and waiting. 15 minutes after our scheduled appointment I text him to ask if he is still coming.  He says, sorry but I have another job I'm backed up on.  I wanted to let u know earlier but I couldn't find your contact info.  We had been communicating extensively thru Yelp and personal texting. NOT hard to find me.
I just don't buy it.  He needs to get more organized and learn how to run a business and treat customers.  He gets 2 stars because he said sorry.   He may be decent at his job(I don't know), but be prepared be flaked on.

SHS Power Electrician
My HOA has been hassling me over removing a second story satellite dish that has not been in service for several years, so I finally looked into renting a tall ladder to do it myself or hiring someone else. I stumbled upon this company and got a quote that I was happy with right away. Everything was clearly explained, and the removal was to include any sealing of holes. The work was done completely and professionally, and best of all, fit my busy schedule. I was able to communicate via text and also did not have to be home for this outside work. This was extremely convenient for me. Also, the company notified me right away when they needed to reschedule the original date and gave me alternative options. I am satisfied that I got what I paid for and for the price I was first quoted. I would highly recommend the dish removal service from this company for those stuck in similar situations as I was.

Gibson Lighting Electrician
This place is a little off the beaten path and May not have the most convenient hours, but if you have an antique or not-so-antique light fixture that needs to be repaired, this is *the* place.
They did a fantastic job repairing and rewiring my not that old Tiffany-style lamp in 24 hours. I am so pleased that the gentleman at TAP Lighting referred me here.
Plenty of parking in front of the building and the staff is very accommodating at helping carry in bulky or heavy items.
They are located in the second row of buildings in the back to the left of center.

Mission Electrical Service Electrician
Thanks, Yelp!  The 5* reviews led me to call Tim when I had a whole house electric shutdown on a SUNDAY.  He was here in half an hour, listened carefully to my confusing problem, told me what the analysis would cost, and figured it out.  Then he got SDG&E out within an hour -- it was THEIR issue -- solved the problem and got the power turned back on.  And I can probably file a claim with SDG&E to repay me for Tim's very reasonable charge!

Electric Unlimited Electrician
Don and his crew upgraded my main panel from 100A to 200A.  They were great to work with, fast, efficient, friendly with a competitive bid.  Don had great communication and was always quick to respond to calls or texts.  I highly recommend Electric Unlimited to anyone.

Source One Electrical Electrician
This has been a frustrating experience.

When the electrician, Dan, was here and completed the work, he wrote on the service contract that he had worked for 2 1/4 hours at $85 at the site.  I did not realize when I signed the service contract that the 1 hour at $125 per hour of driving was on top of this, I thought it was included in the 2 1/4 hours, since he was here for such a short time.  I should have questioned him more and had him spell it out on the form, since it is a very confusing form.

When I received the invoice for the work it said 4 hours at $85. When I called the shop to ask them to explain the invoice, Hunter said that they do not charge for 1/4 hours only 1/2 hours, so I will automatically have to pay more because the worker had made an error in filling out the form.  But not to worry because they fired the guy because he kept making errors like this.  Hunters general attitude was whatever; just pay it, because we are right.

We have used this firm before and when Chris, the owner, was the electrician everything was handled beautifully.  However now that the company has expanded, they do not seem to care about the client.

The work was done satisfactory, but I would go over the service contract carefully and maybe even call the head office to go over it before the electrician leaves just to make sure they do not change things later.

Kennedy Electric Electrician
What a rip-off! They charged over $400 to install a ceiling fan and an outlet. They were here for 2 hours (why it took even that long is another mystery since there were THREE guys here working) and 6 mins. but charged for full 3 hours. When I called them to inquire about the charges, they were flippant and uncooperative. And when I asked why a very similar job the year before cost under $200, I was told that I got a real good deal.  Seriously??
Never again! Buh-bye...
