I had a two room blackout in my house and called Saeid at SZ Electric and he was at my house within the hour and had my problem solved in no time. Very prompt, professional and courteous. I would highly recommend this company for any residential electrical work.

We contacted Tapia Electric and two other electricians in November 2021 for an estimate. We chose Tapia Electric to complete the work because George really listened to the list of electrical work we needed to have completed. He made several suggestions, giving us the opportunity to decide what would work best for our lighting concerns. We could tell that George had a serious and sincere interest in completing the work to our satisfaction. The work was completed by George and his son Danny. They added 6 Post LED lights in the backyard, installed security cameras, 2 of the installations required installing electrical pipe and drilling through stucco.  The work was completed neatly and piping not noticeable.  George and Danny  replaced all coach lights in the front and backyard and porch light, fixed outdoor GFI, fixed bathroom lighting and replaced switches, installed pendant light in MB. George and his son Danny are a great team. They work efficiently and cleanly, all the while being willing  to stop and answer any questions. Their patience and willingness to listen while applying their expertise is unmatched. Because of this willingness to listen and do a great job, it allowed us to discuss other work that needed to be done and which they completed. They are professional, knowledgeable, respectful, kind and patient. Most importantly, the pricing is fair allowing a customer to prioritize their electrical needs. We will be hiring them to  complete other electrical work in the near future. We have hired other electricians and can honestly say that Tapia Electric is the best and we highly recommend Tapia Electric!

I'm not sure why, but finding a good electrician has been so hard! Bill was a breath of fresh air. He showed up on time and didn't over charge me. I will definitely use him again!

My realtor recommended Jeff Parkllan when I needed some electrical work in my condo that I sold last year. I highly recommend him. He is experienced, reliable and licensed! He has an excellent apprentice that helps him get jobs done quickly. He communicates with customers in a friendly and timely manner. He did a thorough job when replaced my old outdoor outlet (easily 50-69 years old) today. I was surprised he had the correct outlet shape for my oddball plug for my low-fire electric kiln. We had him come out for an estimate a couple of months ago when we were in the process of buying our home. Right now, he has a deal that when you pay him a reasonable fee for the estimate, he'll deduct that fee from your upcoming electrical work when you hire him.

We needed our dated 2-prong outlets replaced, and needed our living room wired for light and a ceiling fan.  They were the first to respond, getting the info they needed and gave us a quote right away.  Electricians were super professional, definitely recommend to any who need electrical work done!

Sometimes you get lucky. There aren't huge numbers of reviews but I took a chance and called to compare his estimate for my described work and while the rates are comparable to other electricians, I liked Stuart's forthright answers. We calendared a time and date for an appointment. He asked for pictures of some fixtures and switches so good indicators too.  He was prompt, did great work and listened when we walked through the house. His questions helped me make good decisions when there were options.  His company is a hidden gem in Coronado where most of his work occurs but it is worth getting him to cross that bridge.

I recently got a Tesla and needed a 14-50 outlet installed, so I got quotes from multiple companies including Ms Sparky, who came in cheapest (and a friend had recommended to me). I emailed with Mary (the owner) directly and coordinated with her. This was a little frustrating because initially she said I needed a 60 amp breaker when it should be 50 as far as I know for a 14-50 outlet-- I pointed this out and she changed it to 50 amp. Her original quote was about $500 off of what the actual cost ended up being too, probably because of quoting just off my pictures. So no biggie on that.

But when the tech came to do the install he was expecting my panel to be right next to where I wanted the outlet and that was not the case. Also the breaker they ordered wasn't the right one. In order to make room they'd need a combination breaker instead. Again, this was frustrating a little because I had sent pictures of my panel to Mary already so I thought they would've seen what needed to be ordered. Tech also said it's a two person job not one, and he'll need another person. He was reluctant at first to run the wiring through attic like I wanted but I finally convinced him the attic is spacious and open enough. He called Mary and got a better quote number and said they'd let me know when they can come back to install.

About five days later got an email back saying they were ready to install again. Got it scheduled and a two person crew came out and took care of it. Ran the wiring and outlet exactly where I wanted it, and everything looked great to me. And my Tesla charges beautifully now. So in the end, I'm happy with the result but getting there felt a little more difficult than it should've been.

From getting permits and arranging the inspections from the city, to the dry wall and resurfacing of the stucco surrounding the electric meter itself.

Excellent service!!! We contracted Damon to install our EV (Electric Vehicle) home charging station based on positive online reviews and research, and we are VERY happy we did! We Booked an appointment quickly, he was fast to respond to all email & texts, he was on time, performed the work professionally and quickly, did an great job, and charged a very fair/reasonable price (less than other electricians we got quotes from). The other reason he deserves 5 stars is because we had an issue with a faulty circuit breaker over a year after the initial installation, so we contacted Damon, and he came out and fixed it quickly and free of charge! We HIGHLY recommend him!!!

Really quick and responsive communication setting up our appointment. He arrived right in time and was very knowledgeable and efficient in installing our Sense Home Power Monitoring device.

He was very fairly priced and he is now our go-to electrician for anything we need in the house.

Seeing the great reviews and that DC is located near us, we called two days in a row, no returned call.  He may be good, I don't know.

We recently moved, and our new home was in dire need of a completely new electrical panel as there was signs of melting, which was definitely not good. Thomas Electrical Contracting was very communicative and they got the job done beautifully and timely! The new electrical panel was HUGE compared to our old one, but they made the installation look so professional and seemless with our home. We are SO happy with how friendly they were and what a wonderful job they did! Thank you Nick, Arthur, and Gharon! Superb Job! =)

We have a light switch which turns on and off the ceiling light but is also wired to one of the electrical outlets.  Ken was able to figure out the wiring in just a few seconds (I gave up after two days of diy trial and error) and now the electrical socket stays on regardless if the ceiling light is on or off.  He also put some GFCI plugs in two bathrooms.  Prices were more than reasonable.  It's hard to find someone reliable and Ken was on time and super quick.

{Yesterday}
We liked Kens work so much that we hired him again to install two outdoor flood lights in our dark cave of a backyard.  Now it's bright as daylight and usable at night.  He also installed an outdoor electrical outlet so I don't have to run cords out the back door if I want to use power tools.  Prices were very reasonable.  If we have any more upgrades or problems we know who to call now.

I had Shoreline Electric do some work for me at my house. Did a great job, fair price and looks great.  

After they installed a security light that was at a very high placement on my house, the light would not turn off.  Spoke to them, he came out and adjusted it, as I thought he had.  That night, I tried to use the light as a security light, motion sensor wise, it would not turn off.  I texted Shoreline three times in a week, NO ANSWER.  He's a good guy, does good work, but customer service follow up, well............

STAY AWAY. Should have read the reviews here first, my Gosh. Has not returned any of my calls. Referred by home warranty, and stay away from Total Home Protect as well. Told home warranty they should ashamed for referring a crook like this. Took the service money and ran. Has not called back the home warranty company either and has not sent the service report, and we're going on 2 weeks
