Best Plumbing Services in California

This review is for work TJ Robb did for my parents, who live in Davis. Over a year ago they had an issue with their shower. They called a local plumber who came out but said they would need to break through the wall to fix it. They didn't want to do that since it would have been very hard for them to find replacement tiles and the quote to do the work was very high.  

Just last week they had an issue with their toilet. I found TJ Robb through Yelp and saw the good reviews so I gave them his number.  He came out and fixed the toilet and the shower.  They are beyond happy with the work he did. They said he was not only great, he was fantastic. When I talk to them days later they still bring it up.  

They highly recommend him and would use him again.

I've tried reaching out to them a couple times, and their response times are so long I eventually give up and go with someone else.

We recently purchase a home in Sacramento.  It had been totally remodeled one year ago but the inspection showed a few plumbing flaws.  We also wanted to replace the existing water heater with a tankless water heater.  We had 3 companies come out to give us bids.  We chose Armstrong. Even though it wasn't the least expensive bid, it was the most comprehensive.  Dwight did a good job of assessing the scope of work which included following up on the work required from the inspections.  The plumbers who came out the first time did a professional job and walked us through new issues they found when they were inspecting all of the plumbing under the house.  Dwight came out for the city inspection which went smoothly.   We had them back to complete the repairs on the new issues identified and Steven and Gary were great.  Gave us a few options on how to repair with saving us money in mind.  We highly recommend Armstrong and would use them again.

He was very professional, very fast response, and courteous. I couldn't say enough with how much he helped me out and how fair he was. I gave him a call and he was out within 2 hours. I had a leak in my front yard that he detected in minutes and got to fixing it right away. If we need anything else done he'll for sure be getting a call from me!

Shawn, the plumber is a fantastic employee. He is so knowledgeable, respectful, and  professional! He wore his shoe coverings & took them off & on before he came into our home! I know it is super annoying  and we greatly appreciate that so much! We were so happy with his work!  He completed each issue quickly & safely! We want his company to know how much we appreciate him!! Shawn is a wonderful employee!! Such a valuable man with awesome skills!!

I couldn't be happier with David's Plumbing. David was so helpful and honest and my toilet was back in business in no time. I highly recommend!

Not sure he understands how to use his voicemail.  Looking at his responses on here in kind of glad he never responded.

Unfortunately we could get not get good service with this company, When we called and told what needed to be fixed , we told them exactly what the problem was so they would be prepaid.

The technician came out and  stated he did the work but it was still leaking and cannot fix it. Unless we paid another $300 on top of the $285. This was simply to replace a faucet and two water lines, the screw on type. We had the Faucet.  We told them forget it we will call someone else to do the simple job. We paid $$285 for nothing. Another plumbing company came out and charged $85 to do it. Took less then 30 mins. Lost our business of over 5 years after we called and they stood behind the plumbers billing.

Do you know there're certain names that are self-explanatory, My Dad's Plumbing is one of those. They were really easy to work with. I ordered a toilet through Home Depot. They installed it. They were proactive in contacting me and flexible with scheduling. They arrived on time and completed the job within the window. I'm very satisfied. Great service. I would definitely use them again.

From the moment I spoke to Diane I knew everything would be okay! I love when older trades embrace modern technology to make communicating with them seamless. When I hung up I got a text confirming the appointment. Then I received another text when Eddie was en route. And get this... He was EARLY! We all know what normally happens with a time window. They say 4-6pm and sure enough they show up at 5:58. Well Eddie showed up at 3:45pm and I knew about it because I got a text telling me so.

We had a blocked sink due to injudicious use of the garbage disposal and though he could have made the job bigger (and therefore more expensive) he showed us how to power flush the system instead! (Sorry, but I won't reveal his secrets. You'll have to pay for that ) Both Diane and Eddie were personable and easy to work with. Thank you for being forward thinking business owner. We appreciate it!

Toilets backed up and shower and tub backed up with waste water. Called Rapid First Plumbing on a referral from Pocket Plumbing. Office staff was courteous and the two technicians, Ronaldo and Raoul showed up with masks and put on booties before entering. Sewage blockage was cleared up, tub and shower sanitized. I can't say enough about their professionalism. They were both friendly and explained what was going on. I highly recommend this company. Added plus..they showed up timely

I had used this company once before and was pleased with the service. So when they sent me a notice stating I could get a free service call to check on things, I asked them back.
I had a kitchen faucet that needed to be replaced, so I bought one prior to their arrival. I figured why they were here they could install the faucet. I knew I would have to pay for the install on the faucet.
Cory arrived on time and was very pleasent. He completed the work I needed done and presented me with the bill. Again, I knew I would have to pay for the kitchen faucet install.

When I got the bill. .. $300.83 for an hours work to install a $40. 00 kitchen faucet.

I was agast. I called company later to question the bill and was told someone would call me back the next day.

Nope. No one called. This review is not about the service tech. He was only doing his job.

This review is about the pricing. Rip off. Again. $300.83 for an hours work to install a $40.00 faucet.

You figure it out. Not good business if you ask me. They could have at least called me back.
I also did not know the price of the install before hand. I never would have even fathomed a $40.00 faucet would be charged to me $300. To install. Rippef off and pissed off.

Martel Plumbing came out to give a quote on a tankless water heater, since my current water heater was old and bigger than I needed. Dan Martel answered the call the same day. He listened to my concerns and gave some good reasons for not using a Tankless water heater, but gave me a quotes for both. It was clear the tankless heater would take several years to pay for the additional costs and since cost was an issue I picked the smaller more efficient traditional tank. Dan got to work and the new water tank and pump was put in up to code. The old tank taken away and the job looked professional. I would highly recommend Martel Plumbing, they are responsive and professional. I didn't give 5 stars because I didn't get another quote to verify the charges but his cost fit my budget so I wanted it done ASAP and he was available to complete the task.

Rashad was so knowledgeable and professional, and explained things to me in a way that I could easily understand. He was super friendly and this was just a wonderful experience. I'll definitely come back! Thank you!

They are in and out at Dee's so it's best to call the number on the door at the storefront (disregard the open sign in the front window -- I think it's meant only in a loose sense). Price was very reasonable for the replacement part I needed and they took the time to walk me through how to install it. If you need someone with substantial plumbing experience, you might want to consider Dee's.

It's not Home Depot.

Our toilet flooded in the middle of the night (on a Monday, no less). I didn't want to risk serious water damage, so I called earl's plumbing or whatever they said that they fixed it but later that night, it flooded even worse and it even smelled. I wouldn't recommend going here and recently I found out her daughter bullies my daughter.
