Established in 1988.
Dad always said, If you are going to do something, do it right the first time - look the person square in the eye tell them the truth, nothing more nothing less. Dad started his plumbing business back in the 70s. He went from a one man do-it-all crew to a licensed contractor servicing over 3,000 customers annually. From big business to our next-door neighbor, Dad took care of everyone as equals. Years ago, when Mom got sick, Dad had to turn in and close down. Four years ago, I decided to pick up where Dad left off. I had spent the last ten years in the corporate world; from executive roles at major companies to a couple small ventures. One day I decided to pick up a wrench and some tools and get to work. Once business picked up, Dad and I joined forces and began building this new company. Being a new father, I decided to pay homage to the old man and name the company My Dad's Plumbing after the man who started it all.

I ordered my toilet installation through Home Depot. The appointment was very easy and Solomon arrived just on time. He was easy to contact and I could track him before arrival. He was very pleasant and efficient. Finished on time and left the site completely clean. I would definitely recommend them.

This plumbing company grabbed a work order as a Lowe's third party service provider to install a new kitchen faucet purchased at Lowe's. They scheduled an installation appointment via text. I arranged my schedule accordingly and made necessary arrangements for authorized access to a gated community.
Late in the day on the day before the appointment commitment I receive a voice mail message from My Dad's Plumbing informing me that after several attempts to reach me they are canceling my appointment and would tentatively reschedule 10 days later.
I immediately returned their call as it was just minutes before their office closed. The man repeats to me that my appointment was canceled because they made several attempts to reach me and I didn't respond. False, untrue. Period!
Then he changed his mind with a new reason for disrespecting a consumer with a unilateral cancellation and informs me that the actual reason was the assigned technician for the scheduled appointment tested positive for COVID.
I abruptly terminated the call at this point as I don't want anything to do with this plumber as credibility was now completely questionable.
Next day, (today) I contacted Lowe's who blacklisted this 3rd party plumber from their network. I also instructed Lowe's to cancel & refund money for the $210 pre-paid installation fee as this plumber generated significant reputation damage for Lowe's as well as misrepresenting themselves to the consumer and failing to deliver honest, truthful service on a commitment to provide specific date driven service for a pre-paid work order only to leave the consumer, Lowe's and the 3rd party aggregator hanging.

Do you know there're certain names that are self-explanatory, My Dad's Plumbing is one of those. They were really easy to work with. I ordered a toilet through Home Depot. They installed it. They were proactive in contacting me and flexible with scheduling. They arrived on time and completed the job within the window. I'm very satisfied. Great service. I would definitely use them again.
After dealing with a number of unreliable plumbers i wasn't expecting much from our home warranty company to provide one that was much different. Our toilet kept running and having dealt with this issue before I thought it was going to be more of the same, waiting for parts and dealing with our claim going through different technicians.
JB came and got the job done. He was professional, timely and efficient. He just replaced the pump on site. The last plumber had to order parts to fix a pump that should have been replaced to begin with. And charged multiple visits and multiple parts for something that needed to be replaced within a year. Same issue.
Anyway, I highly recommend them. They did not disappoint.
Messaged them requesting a quote and got an immediate response, they were able to have a technician out within a day. They were very prompt, fixed my garbage disposal quickly and made sure I was satisfied with it and double checked that it worked fine before leaving. Also shared info with me about the disposal before leaving. Definitely recommend!
