Francisco is responsive, efficient and really solid. He's also a super nice guy, which is a plus.  Some contractors are not interested in doing smaller jobs, but Francisco helped me out with some fixtures that were overdue to be fixed. He pointed out that the original fixture I chose would not align well and came back a second time (without charging me more) after I had purchased something that worked better.  His work is tidy and completed well.  I plan to hire him again for a larger future project. Gus was great.  He's very knowledgeable and is very good at explaining what's going on and what he's doing.  

He helped diagnose two different issues we were having.  Our dining room lights went out and we had some problems in another room.  He was quick at diagnosing the two (seperate) issues and getting us going.  He also did some minor repairs/improvements as we were searching for the cause of our problem.

Gus is honest, personable, and dedicated to doing a top notch job.  He's not the sort of contractor/electrician who's looking to cut corners.

One of our outlets went in the fritz and Voltyx came out on the same day not only to take a look at the issue and assess what the issue was, but they were also able to fix it and had all of the hardware need for the repair. I would certainly use them next time we have issues.

We wanted to have recessed lighting installed in our living room and dining room and replace existing light fixtures in the kitchen and laundry. Mike was very professional and easy to work with. He provided a detailed quote and completed the work in 2 days. Each day he came on time and cleaned up throughly. Mike does not do drywall repair and referred us to Frank who also did an excellent job. Overall the price and quality of the work was excellent and I would hire Mike for any electrical needs in the future.

John and crew did a fantastic job! We hired them to put an EV charging station on our property. Not an easy feat because we wanted the power on the opposite site with respect to the meter. They had to dig a trench but all was done in a couple of days and the end result is exactly what we wanted. They gave us a fair price, too. I couldn't recommend John enough! Will do business with him again.

We tripped the Ground Fault Interrupt (GFI) in an upstairs bathroom while using a hair dryer. But, unlike every other bathroom and kitchen, there was no GFI outlet with a reset button. None of the circuit breakers were tripped. We had no power in any socket in that bathroom. So, we called VC Electric because of so many good reviews.
Victor checked a few outlets and even found that sockets in the master bathroom had reversed polarity. Of course, that had nothing to do with our GFI problem. Then, he asked when our house was built. I said 1996, and he went down to the garage and found a tripped GFI socket. How would he know that a GFI in the garage would be tied in with a bathroom on the second floor? Because he knows how houses have been wired since the 80s. The practices have changed over the years. Knowing our house was built in 1996, he knew exactly where to find the problem. This problem that was intractable to us was simple for him. It was resolved in less than 15 minutes.

Great customer service. Sal was extremely responsive. The technician, Josh, was great as well, super patient with all our questions. Went over the job prior to starting and got it done efficiently. They take their five promises seriously. Would call them in the near future to get other work done. So relieved to have found electricians we can count on.

Maine Electric was extremely professional when they came to check out a circuit breaker that had been tripping while the air-conditioning was running.  The electrician, Ethan, checked into several possibile causes before identifying a loose connection that was the probable cause.  We have had no problems since.  Ethan was on time and very helpful with all questions.  I would recommend their service to anyone needing an electrician in the tri-valley area, or beyond.

Ezekiel was very friendly and professional. He was very thorough in explaining my options. He explained all the safety features that I don't have. I had no idea how unsafe my hole was! Abysmal customer service demonstrates utter disregard for the customer

I first called Stewart from S&B Electric about a simple power outlet upgrade. He  was nice and helpful on the phone. He asked me to text him my contact info so that he could schedule a visit with my tenant. Upon receiving my text, he promptly confirmed receipt. Four days later, my tenant called me about the status of the repair and informed me that no one had called her. I called Steward again to follow up. He apologized and blamed the issue on Yelp's response service. He asked me to send my information again to a different contact number and said his team would reach out to my tenant that day. Once again, I took the time to resend the information he already had. I got another email from my tenant the next day asking what was happening with the outlets. She said no one had reached out to her and asked for Stewart's number so that she could call him directly. I provided the info. I followed up with her five days later later. She said she had messaged Stewart only to be told he would get back to her within two days once he knew his schedule. She had waited four days after that communication and never heard from Steward. In my book, this is inexcusable. I can see not wanting a job if one is too busy or does not like the size of a job (I excepted the price he quoted on the first call, no questions asked.) But if you will make a customer wait for ten days when they could have gone to someone else to get the issue resolved, then waste their time by having them send you their information multiple times. please show some courtesy and turn down the job.
