I called yesterday at around 3 pm have had ongoing problems for over a year. They isolated where the trouble is and what is needed to correct the problem. They were honest, professional, and are now dealing with the person responsible for correcting it. I had an issue with my drier outlet and Francisco was prompt in response. He explained why I was getting the burning wire smell (due to an erroneous install by the previous handyman), and replaced with the new outlet.

Esed came on a Friday night, fixed the problem quickly, then fixed some less urgent stuff because he was still on the clock. Super efficient; quickly figured out what the issue was, came when he said he would, charged what he said he would. Good sense of humor. Highly recommended.

I called Anchor Electric for a short circuited lamp knocked off power in my garage and family room. Gus was very friendly and gave me a few suggestions to try to turn the power back on. It actually worked. Even thought he never came to my house to fix anything, I would still give him five stars for great service and care for his potential clients. Now I know who I will turn to next time when we have electric problem. Thanks Gus!

I called and spoke with Yevgeny to talk about a potential project and find out more details to understand whether the cost/benefit made sense. I really appreciate his candor, honesty, and detail in talking through the potential project. He is very knowledgeable, provided multiple cost estimates to think through to minimize potential surprises, and was a wealth of information. We are still in the initial phases of determining next steps, but I will definitely reach back out and want to work Yevgeny on other projects.

We had a GFI light flashing on an outlet in our kitchen with multiple outlets without power. They were out the same day, determined the outlet had failed, and immediately swapped it out. The were quick, reliable, and got us back up and running

Called Victor in the morning today and he was over in the afternoon; finished the work and they were done in 2 hours straight. Great value for the money and good workmanship. Gave good advice at every step and was very accommodating of my requests.

I needed my car's charging station to be installed in the garage and he had advised me earlier on how to go about getting the permits, etc. When I'd finished all the preparatory work, getting permits and buying the charging station, Victor and his crew showed up promptly on time. Very professional, they went right to work, finished cutting through the wall where needed and wired up the outlets exactly where I wanted them.

My husband and I recently bought our first home (built in 1950) and one night, the breakers flipped and we couldn't get them to turn back on. After calling a few electricians, Five or Free was the only company that could send someone within the hour.

Tim had just finished a long day of work and was heading to his own home, but stopped by our place because it was near his house. Tim troubleshooted the issue for over an hour until it was resolved. Each time I called the office, Jon was extremely accommodating. Even if I called after hours, he would call me the next morning and got me on their books. Tim really went out of his way to explain things clearly and work with our budget. We scheduled two big jobs over the last 6 months and both times Eddie and his apprentices came out to do the work. The apprentices were great (we had Cruz last time) and Eddie is the man! He went above and beyond doing extra work to ensure that my sewing studio was set-up for electrical success.  It's not common to meet people that reflect such professionalism, care and kindness, but the guys we've encountered at Five or Free have exemplified those qualities, which speaks to the company culture. The customer service experience we've had has truly exceeded our expectations. We will be loyal customers for as long as we live in the bay area.

Needed a fan installed and the electrical ran into my girls room. Juan came out and got everything done in less than 2 hours and the cost seemed very fair. He was professional and explained everything. Great guy.

When we first met Scott from Maine Electric, we were impressed about what he said.  No job is too small.  

We needed only a few thing done in the house at the time, like adding electrically outlets in our living room and dinning area and adding more in the kitchen.  Every place we called and spoke too said that we do not do things like that, it has to be more things done for us to come out.  But not for Scott.  We have had him come out several times to add outside outlets (3 in all), add overhead lighting in the garage, put a surge protected on the house, updated our electrical sub panel in the garage, totally put in a new main electrical panel and grounded our house.  

We have had Maine Electric do a lot of work at our house they are always neat, clean, friendly and professional.  They are always on time and get the work done in a timely matter.

We love the way they put booties on their feet before they come into our house.

When calling the office there are always friendly gals that pick up the phone.  And they are so helpful.  We had an emergency on December 23, 2011 and they had someone out here in no time to replace the breaker switch until the main electrical panel could be replaced.

Great Service!

I had reached out to Pacific Coast Electricians for some work needed in my condo. Richard came out to service my condo. He was clean, very friendly, and very good at taking care of the work I needed. He communicated what he was seeing and working on. The work was done quickly and he cleaned up and after my place as clean as when he came in. I would definitely use PCE again for any electrical needs I may have. Thanks for a job well done!

These guys are great!  They did all of the electrical work on our new home.  They are very professional, easy to work with and they did great work.  I will use them again for sure.
