I contacted them twice for a estimate. Both times had a quick response but noting got done no further contact for estimate

I called Alameda Oakland Electrical to help my elderly parents fix a light issue. After replacing bulbs for them a few times and having them burn out over a 2 week period we knew something was wrong. Frank was responsive and available to help. While I couldn't be at the home during the time he stopped by, he knew what the issue was right away and fixed it. He even spent time chatting with them which he didn't need to do. He was very personable and helpful.  Thank you!

I highly recommend Ideal Electric.  I have a house in Oakland and Esed came from Berkeley to give me a bid on the same day I called him, even though he had a job in Lafayette.  He was extremely prompt, and seriously checked out my small electrical projects.  He took the time to measure things, check wires, and he provided me with every possible scenario for the different projects.  He was able to schedule the job within the week, and even told me exactly what type of lighting I could buy on my own to save money.  Esed was very professional, very prompt and a very honest guy.  I would recommend him for any job, he is extremeley knowledgeable!  I called the other companies with many good reviews on Yelp, including fighting Amish, they called me back late at night and could not even come out for a bid for about 2 weeks!  Esed came out, gave me a bid, and ultimately got the job done in a week!  A full week before I could even get any other company out to provide me with a bid for my job!  Esed is a hidden gem, and I second the other reviews that said they kind of want to keep him a secret since he is so good, but his stellar work and reputation need to be put out there!!!

I like to tinker and have worked with electricity in my day job (if they pay you, you're considered a professional, right? :)  ) ...  but I've found that there will invariably come a time when even the most hardcore home-handyman needs the services of a real electrician.  There are hundreds of these guys to select from in our area, and their rates are fairly similar, so how does one choose where to spend their hard-earned money?  After talking to a few people over the phone, I realized that Gus was different;  meeting him in person confirmed that he was the real deal -- one of the most geniune, down-to-earth and honest guys you'll ever meet, and someone who clearly has a passion for what he does.  His approach is not to blindly follow some technique he learned by rote, but to understand the root causes and figure out what to do from there.  Gus fixed my problems not with the attitude of an elite tradesman who considers the client to be simply a source of annoyance and cash, but with the authentic enthusiasm of a true master for whom communicating the reasons behind his actions is both an ethical necessity and a professional pleasure.    If you are at all interested in the wirenuts and bolts of what your electrician is really doing, Gus is the man for you.   I would not hesitate to call on him again, and I'll definitely recommend his work to all my power-less friends.

What a nice guy!   He came quickly, diagnosed the problem, and then tried to get the parts for repair.  When they were not available, he outlined all the options for repair or replacement, and all this at no charge!   We will definitely use him again.

On the day that my new electric dryer arrived, I discovered that the breakers on my electrical panel for the dryer had been repurposed. Timur listened to me closely on the phone and booked to come over the same day.  He and his assistant, Egor, fixed the problem in 20 minutes.  I'm grateful that he could work me in to his busy schedule.  The other electricians I contacted insisted on a diagnostic visit, before booking a repair appointment.  I will definitely call upon Timur and Egor again.

I needed my electrical outlet replaced to fit my EV charger adapter. Dave provided a consultation over Zoom and then we proceeded to schedule a day he could work on my outlet. For the entire project, I felt that he was knowledgeable and explained everything to me so I understood what he was doing. 10/10 would go back to him to work on future electrical projects.

Mike was great! Honest, helpful and responsive. I highly recommend!!! He did a great job installing 3 fans for us. We had a problem with one of the fans and he did everything he could to help us out. I would hire him again for any future electrical work.

AC/DC to the rescue! We had an electrical inspection and it didn't pass. The previous electrician didn't install it correctly. Debbie and John at AC/DC are both amazing. They are responsive and were able to fit us in their busy schedule and come out within a few hours. It was a super quick fix, thankfully, and we're ready for re-inspection. We appreciate using a good local business, and getting excellent customer service. Thanks again AC/DC!

Prompt, professional & courteous!

We had a problem with the power in the living room & kitchen, and when resetting the breaker switch didn't work, we called Victor and he arrived within a few hours and solved the issue!

You know they're good when you know the owners and can call them by name.  Gilbert and Alexis have built a great business and I was happy with their service.  They were on time, informative, and helpful.  They returned my phone call within minutes, had very personable and professional employees and were genuinely interested in the customers satisfaction with the job.  I am very happy with their service and would definitely recommend them for any electrical job.

We needed someone immediately and owner Juan Marin was there to help!  We called several companies but couldn't get anyone to come asap. High Power Electric took care of us immediately!  When he left we received a detailed explanation what was going on. We've found a reliable and affordable electrician company in Maine Electric.  We've used them a couple of different times and have been really happy with the results.  They installed a dimmer switch and a ceiling fan.  I would recommend them regardless of your electrical need.

Noah completed a service call today to trouble shoot a problem with the thermostat for our electric wall heater. He was very professional and knowledgeable. Because he is still researching the problem and looking for the part for a very old
system, he did not charge for the visit and will get back to me soon. Previously, I had an electrician come out who did not resolve the issue but charged me. I have total confidence that Pacific Coast Electricians will be able to resolve this and are ethical and reliable.

Stewart is an excellent electrician. We have worked on a few projects in my home, and i have a few more coming up. Trustworthy, creative with solutions and affordable.He even identified inappropriate wiring that both my HVAC and alarm companies had done (fire hazards), and I was able to recoup costs to have Stewart fix them. He's the best
