WOW!!! Hector corrected and error Angi's handyman had screwed up and
came back after the weekend to make sure his repair was done correctly
and not leaking. Turned on hot water handle that Angi's guy had turned off.
Can't rave enough about Palisades Plumbing. They have saved me so many
times. Great people, not cheap but they have replaced water heater for me,
fixed toilets, etc. They're worth it!!

Had an issue with my kitchen sink and called Palisades Plumbing. They came to my house within two hours of me calling them and it was determined that I needed to replace the faucet. I was able to run out, grab a new faucet and then Palisades Plumbing came back later in the day to install it.
My point is they are extremely responsive and do great work. Very comforting knowing Palisades Plumbing is around when needed, especially given their reliability and professionalism.

Our toilet was leaking and we couldn't tell where the leak was as it was just a little bit of water. I called Palisades Plumbing and they sent Mario out the same afternoon. He identified the problem, went out to get the part and had it repaired in about an hour. He was very pleasant, left the room clean, and the bill was reasonable.

When I moved to L.A. my home was in great shape but for plumbing issues: Water heater, pipes, two toilets.
You would think that on at least one repair I'd be less than 100% satisfied. NOPE. Palisades Plumbing---and the man who is now my go-to technician-- was prompt, completely competent, informative and reasonably priced.
In a nutshell, Raymond and Company are the best home repair people I have ever had the pleasure of working with.
SUPERB!
Toilet became totally blocked and flooded the master bath. Miguel was professional and comleted the work within one hour.
Palisades Plumbing is extremely responsive. I called with an issue & they sent Miguel in one hour .
They're very efficient. I highly recommend them . They're always nice to deal with.

I had a stopped up sink. They told me nobody would be available until the next day, but within thirty minutes they called back to say they could send somebody right over and within minutes he arrived and did the repair.

We've used Palisades Plumbing for years and the owner Ray and his staff have always been the very best. Mario has been the service tech for many of our projects and problems, and he's the bomb! Highly recommended!
He was terrific came out very quickly. I had slashed a little bottle down my toilet and he recovered it!
Hector and his assistant replaced a valve for our sprinkler system.
They did great work. I highly recommend Palisades Plumbing.
Hector repaired/replaced the supply pipes to our incoming new washer. I got an appointment 2 days after I called. They are definitely prompt. Even though they had to go to the supplier to get parts, they came back the same afternoon in a timely manner.
I called at 9am. The plumber arrived at 10am. The problem was fixed by 10:30am. Perfect.
I've used these folks a few times for plumbing issues - dishwasher once and complex septic sump pump issue another time. Always very good service. Quick callbacks and availability. They showed up on time, even during a holiday week. No surprise costs, and prices are fair.
The did a great job, a little pricey. I called to switch out my kitchen sink faucet, which they did a great job, no problem. However, they sprung the price on me once they got here, and I thought it was a little expensive, but once they were here, they were quick and did a great job.
Called at 8:15 in the morning and a plumber was at the house by 9:00 to fix a leaking toilet valve. I will use them again as the need arises.

Once again, Palisades Plumbing to the rescue. Nothing traumatic but just some annoying leaky shower heads because the cartridges were 4.5 years old. Hector diagnosed the problem and fixed them in a jiffy. Always appreciate the terrific service from this company which is why we have used them since moving to the Palisades almost 30 years ago.

Horrible customer service! They yell at their customers on the phone. Unbelievably rude and unprofessional! Beware.
We've been using Palisades Plumbing for years. They answer the phone promptly and work hard to get someone out as soon as possible. They send email and text notifications to confirm appointments and let you know when a technician is on the way. Most recently Miguel Guzman replaced an old garbage disposal, put a new cartridge in a leaky kitchen faucet, and diagnosed and restarted our finicky hot water heater. We've had construction going on outside the house that can trigger earthquake sensors connected to an automatic shutoff for the gas line, which then disables our gas appliances. Miguel fixed the problem for us and also took the time, even though it was a busy day for him, to show us what to do in the future and to talk to the construction crew about what they should do if the gas shutoff gets triggered. We've found Palisades Plumbing to be friendly, courteous, and reliable, and I'm sure we'll call them again for future plumbing issues.

We called for service and the company responded quickly. However, we told the company that we would not be home until after 12. The service person Joe called at 11:25 to say that he was at the house. We were not home and he was miffed that he had to wait. When we did arrive 10 minutes later, he came to the gate with a mask on. I told him that we were vaccinated and he did not reply. My dogs were very agitated and I asked him to come in, assuring him that the dogs were friendly. He did not come in. He asked me to put away your dogs. I have had multiple service people at the house, and have never had a problem. I sent him away. My partner then called the dispatcher, who would not send another plumber without first speaking to the owner Raymond. When the dispatcher called back, my partner was advised that they would not be able to send another person and we should find another plumber. I was very disappointed in Palisades Plumbing dismissive nature and lack of civility.
We heard what sounded like water running through the pipes, but couldn't figure out where it was coming from. When we checked our meter and saw that it was running (w/ no faucets or appliances on), we were pretty certain that we had a leak somewhere. I called a handful of plumbers and despite the emergent nature of the situation, I was told 1 - 2 weeks before they could provide service. When I called PP, I spoke to a very busy, but very polite receptionist/dispatcher. Because they were extremely busy, she relayed my issue to her boss and got back to me with different things to 'check' around the house... sort of triaging the situation... which I appreciated. When we determined that it sounded like a leak, she managed to get someone to our house the same day! And thank goodness. An old pipe had cracked and was leaking water under the house. Mario came on time, was extremely polite and knowledgeable and went straight to work. Luckily the pipe lead to an old office that doesn't have plumbing anymore, so Mario was able to clamp it off to stop the leak. It took two hours and the bill was a little over $500. My husband thought it was a little pricey, but Mario had to dig a 5' hole in our yard, fix the pipe and fill in the hole... I'd say it was worth it!
The ONLY reason I'm not giving 5 stars is because the receptionist kept telling me she'd call me back in 5 min. (told me 3 times), and never did. I called her, though, b/c I knew she was having a very hectic day and we've all been there.

As a realtor, I've used them many, many times for big and small jobs. They do great work and have excellent customer service. Even when I call on short notice, they find a way to fit me in!
Overpriced for blah work. Had a gas line repaired and it took over two weeks with 2 guys. They removed a bracket on the side of the house holding the pipe and meter in place, and never reinstalled it back. Now any movement with the pipe causes the earthquake valve to shut off. I've worked with other plumbers in the past, and had a way better job done. Look elsewhere. They're typically available for a reason...
I had excellent service from Palisades Plumbing and highly recommend them. Mario came on time and was masked. He was very pleasant. I had gotten the wrong faucet, and he was understanding. He said just to call him when I got the right one. Mario returned and put in the correct one. Everything works well. I paid the price I was originally quoted.

Emergency Taken Care of Quickly
Woke this morning to a water leak from an upstairs bathroom that was causing damage in the living room below. Needed to resolve the matter quickly to minimize the damage. Called Palisades Plumbing and 30 minutes later Mario showed up, fixed the problem and now we are off to cleaning up or water damage but Palisades Plumbing did their part without a hitch.
I highly recommend palisades plumbing. We replaced our kitchen island top and fixtures. An expert plumber was needed for installation. Mario installed the new fixtures and replaced worn pipes and valves expertly at a reasonable price. We found our plumber.
Came to my Mom's vacant house to find a flood coming from the bathroom ceiling. It was Friday afternoon and everyone was booked, but Ray from PP dropped everything, got in his car, and came to my rescue. After discovering the leak source his guys were there on Monday repair everything. Prompt & reliable!
I have used Palisades Plumbing for many years. They have always been professional and fair with me. I am grateful to have a trustworthy small business in Pacific Palisades that is working hard meet customer's demands. I have had work performed by Joe, Steve, the new Steve and Mario, and they have all been terrific.

Palisades Plumbing does business the old school way, with same day, on time service. I don't know of many companies that would rearrange their schedule for a first time customer, but this one does it. Plumber Joe was able to fix my garbage disposal when it had baffled other repairmen in no time and was careful and polite doing it. The best part was that the price was 1/3 of what I was quoted by another. Thank you Palisades Plumbing. You are the best.
I have an expensive Toto Washlet toilet that kept running I called Palisades Plumbing in the morning and a gentleman was at my house by noon. The owner asked me to send him a photo of the inside of the toilet so they would have the right parts. The cost for parts/repair were nominal and I was impressed.

Had a plumbing problems. Joe came out to the house and explained what needed to be done. He was very pleasant and answered all my questions. The visit was prompt and with an emergency problem Palisades Plumbing came to the house as prompt as they could.
We have used Palisades Plumbing Inc. multiple times over the last 5 months. We recently purchased a town home that needed some work. They were quick to make an appointment and come fix not only my kitchen sink leak but they also have fixed 2 toilets that have given me issues.
Respectable, quick and friendly! Will always recommend them in the future.
I came home yesterday morning to find my water heater had sprung a leak. I called Palisades Plumbing and got a real person on the line. One of their plumbers who was heading to a nearby call stopped, shut off the water heater and attached a hose to drain it. Within 2 hours a team lead by Mario was there with the new heater. Everyone was super nice and efficient. Great service.

I use palisades plumbing for all my plumbing needs. They usually are able to make it same day I call.
From my experience, as an engineer and a fairly decent lifetime DIY'er of home renovations and one who has engaged many plumbers, I can tell you without a doubt that Mario is the best plumber I've ever worked with. He helped me find an insidious pinhole leak in a sewer line that over time ate a hole in my kitchen ceiling. I was amazed at how quickly he replaced the pipes in a cramped ceiling space. He also replaced the shower valve system in my master bath in the same day. I can't say enough good things about him. Thank you, Mario.
Called this co. to fix two running toliets and a shower with bad pressure. Guy said shower needed new cartridge $110, While he fixed toliets I went to get cartridge. After installing and not working, he said whole valve has to be replaced.
He gave me bill with total of $538 ! I asked hourly rate and he argued with me. I called office and found out rate was $110 Hr. He arrived at 9;10 am finished at 11;10 am.
When I pointed out labor should be $220 not $440 he became abusive, called me a liar and stormed out of my house while I was on the phone with the office. ]
Don't hire a company that doesnt screen their employees better.

Joe arrived within the time frame given and solved the garbage disposal and leaking pipe problems.
Joe did a good job. I paid more than I would have if I had purchased a new garb disp myself, but I wanted fast service.
I asked him to write the warranty on their invoice as a safeguard.
Overall, service very good.
I would call them again.
The level of professionalism and expertise is wonderful. The repairmen are polite and knowledgable.

I've lived in the Palisades for the last 35 years and have used Palisades Plumbing many times with good results. We are renting a place in the Highlands while our home is remodeled and the garbage disposal here jammed up. I call PP to make an appointment and the guy doesn't show up. I leave a message on the machine and when they call me back they have me call the plumber to see where he is. I thought this was strange to begin with. I call the guy, who is already about an hour late, and he says he can be there in about 40 mins, 'that's just how it is' or I can wait till Monday. He asks how old the unit is and I say I don't know, I'm renting the place. He goes, oh, if you're a renter will you be able to pay me? I say of course. He calls me back 20 mins later and says, my boss told me since you are a renter you will have to pay me upfront. I said, well how else would I pay you? He says it might be expensive, maybe $400 or $500, you can pay that much? I go are you kidding me right now? Why is this such a pain to get you here? He says you know what man, F**k you and hangs up on me. Of course, no one picking up at the office at this point and its the weekend so I'm left with a jammed kitchen sink my family can't use unless I pay some other plumber a weekend rate. This was one of the most bizarre and infuriating experiences I've had. Obviously will never use these guys again which is a bummer as I like using local people for work.
Moral of the story is, these guys can be good, just be careful who they try to send out to you.
Great service. They installed my new water heater and fixed my sinks pretty fast. These guys have been in the area for a long time and i got referred by my neighbor. I would recommend to everyone in the Palisades.

Do not call this company, unless you want to be ripped off.
My husband called them last week to remove a sink from a vanity, and replace a toilet with a new one. We remodeled the bathroom and the original toilet installed was defective. We also got some slightly different color sink so both the toilet and sink needed to be replaced. When the worked showed up, we showed him the work and he said this will take me 3-4 hours, and will cost $450. That's is insane!! What the worker did not realize (even though we told him) was that the toilet and sink were replaced just several days ealier and it took that plumber LESS than an hour to do both. These guys are ripoff artist, and while I can't speak to their work, their pricing is shady at best. BEWARE.

Woke up this morning to no hot water and a blown water heater. Joe was immediately on it and without my even being home, had the old one out, the new one in an hot water running before I got home - and he cleaned up the water on the garage floor!

I got a quick and honest evaluation. The issue was resolved without any problems.
I dealt with Plumer Joe and Plumer Mario and found them both to be trustworthy.
However, I would like to see the office to be more responsive regarding calling back and updating me with any delays.
Amazing service. They showed up in 2 hours and fixed 3 issues in an hour. The staff was very helpful and made sure I was taken care of. It's nice to know that they care to get the job done right. I would recommend Palisades Plumbing to anyone

I highly recommend Palisades Plumbing Inc. My parents had a gas leak at their property. Palisades Plumbing assisted us with finding a leak detection company. After the leaks were detected, Mario took time to come to the property to speak directly with the leak detection company and made the repairs the same day. Mario also tapped off the leaks immediately so Southern California Gas could restore service to the property and my parents could turn their heat back on. Mario was professional and friendly. He put my parents mind at ease as he completed his repairs. Thank you Mario!
I'm a little late to responding because I didn't see he had posted on my review until now. I'm amused at his response. He knows exactly what happened as I wrote a detailed letter AND spoke to him on the phone. His response? He verbally threatened to sue and file a lien if we didn't pay. Then when I said go ahead, and refused to remove the stop payment, they actually had the balls to go over to her house and coerce her into giving them a credit card. I was at work but she called me after he left because it freaked her out. I called the credit card company of course. Since I have written this I have gotten several messages from Yelp members asking who we used, it was Sunset West Plumbing. The owner is Jimmy and I have had them do half a dozen jobs for us since all this transpired. I highly recommend them.

Thrilled with my service from Palisades Plumbing. I had a major leak in a pipe in the crawl space beneath my house. Ray, the owner, had someone out in a flash to check it out, diagnose the problem, let me know my options (including fair pricing) and fixed the issue right away. I was thoroughly impressed with the knowledge of the plumber and his friendly nature was very refreshing considering the horrible experience I've had with several other Los Angeles based plumbing companies! The pricing was very reasonable - so I don't really understand why a few people have commented about it being expensive in their Yelp reviews. Do you expect good work to be done for free? No, I didn't think so. A good plumber is a must have for all home owners. I'm glad I've finally found mine!

I have used Palisades Plumbing several time, most recently this past week. They are always prompt and get the job done very professionally.
Dishonest. Had them cover three times and they said they couldn't find the problem. Called another plumber who found it instantly and fixed it. Will NEVER use them again.
We highly recommend Palisades Plumbing. Steve is particularly devoted to making sure the customer is happy. He is patient and knows what he's doing!! The prices are fair and when I've had a problem with a faulty part from a manufacturer, Palisades Plumbing helped us through it. Don't hesitate and ask for Steve!!
I have been a long time customer of Palisades Plumbing, and have known them to be trustworthy, honest, reasonable, and always there when I needed them...I recently needed a plumber for a serious leak, on a Sunday night. I mistakenly assumed that Palisades Plumbing was unavalable, so I called another plumber. They came and stopped the leak, and quoted me an outrageous sum (!!) to fix the issue...after a day, I called Palisades Plumbing, to see if they would have a look at the issue..They went out that day, and their estimate cam in at HALF (1/2!) the estimate from the original plumber. Since I have worked with Palisades Plumbing for so long, and know they will do such great work, I dismissed the original plumber, and will have the Palisades Plumbers do the work...
They are always polite, reasonable and get the job done...i recommend them wholeheartedly!
I paid $130 for a new flapper for my toilet. $7 dollar part ( but let's say it cost $12) that took 6 minutes to put in. The gentleman was nice enough and seemed like a guy who would be trustworthy and knowledgeable, but he wasn't versed in the work I needed outside by the pool and couldn't get out of my house fast enough!! But was more than happy to come back and had me a bill for $130. I've used Palisades Plumbing before many years ago... I would definitely try someone else first unless money is NO object...then I think they be fine.

On Sunday my garbage disposal broke. On Monday morning I called Palisades Plumbing. They said they could have a plumber at my house at 2:30 pm. but to call when I was close so they could coordinate his arrival with mine. I called them at 2:30 and Steve arrived 2 minutes later. He installed a new garbage disposal in about 45 minutes. He did a great job. No mess. Nice guy. Sang a little tune to himself while he worked. Made sure all was working well before he left. The price was exactly what was quoted. Maybe it wasn't equivalent to fixing a nuclear submarine but I sure appreciated the good work, the ease of scheduling the appointment, the fact they showed up on time and charged me exactly what they said. Highly recommend them and will definitely use them again for any plumbing issue.

Joe from Palisades Plumbing is from Brooklyn, but that's not all that's great about him. He is capable, and he leaves his work area spotless. But the best thing about him, besides being from Brooklyn, is he is so knowledgeable. He has quickly diagnosed any problem I gave him. For example, I purchased replacement cartridges for my sink faucets from the dealer. Within a few minutes he told me that the cartridges were manufactured by Newport Brass, when the ones I needed were by Dornbracht. Then he went ahead and fixed the faucet without the cartridges - it had been installed incorrectly. Joe's experience means he doesn't waste time, so the charges are very reasonable.
Joe is a very capable, very knowledgeable plumber... and he's from Brooklyn.

I've been dealing with a 6 month water pressure problem, that if I had used Palisades Plumbing from the 1st day I could have saved myself money and so Much frustration. Mario & Stevie came to our house after our previous plumbers walked away from the job earlier in the day. They were kind and were expert problem solvers. They also respectfully explained to me what they were going to test for and what their thoughts were as far as fixing the problem. We have had good & great experiences with Palisades plumbing they are not the least expensive but if You are lucky enough (or request) Joe Green to work on plumbing concerns you will get the best. Joe is excellent at diagnosing a problem thoroughly explaining and fixing it so that you do not require follow-up. He's extremely trustworthy, he does not over-sell to increase cost and is safe to leave to complete his work without supervision. Finally, he leaves the area he works on neat and cleaner then prior to any plumbing issue. I highly recommend Joe Green & Palisades Plumbing.
I recently used Palisades Plumbing, I shopped around for the best price and services and am happy to say they were amazing! The price was competitive and the service was amazing! I had a number of questions outside the jobs that I was paying for and they were overly happy to help!

Absolutely awful experience with Palisades plumbing. The guy Miguel came in and told me the problem was an old toilet (its less than 10 years old), snaked it and pulled out some fibers that he said on the invoice was a towel stuck in the toilet. Charged me 110 and the problem was not resolved. I called two days later, they sent someone else who fixed the problem and charged an additional 110!!!!! The gal at collections was so rude with her English accent and an inability for customer Service!!! WILL NEVER USE THEM AGAIN!!!

We used PP for about 3 years with no problems. But recently there was a problem with their work (the house had a terrible odor coming from the basement plumbing) and when we asked Ray to send someone out to check on it he totally blew us off. He said it wasnt related to his work. He didnt even want to check on it to find out. It started the day after they worked on our septic, and there is no way it could be related to their work? He didnt even know who he had sent out to do the work. Adios Palisades Plumbing.
I highly recommend Palisades Plumbing I was having an issue with my hot water heater and they sent Steve to see what the problem was, he was very personable and explained to me in detail what needed to be done, I was a little apprehensive but it turned out to be a painless experience!
Against my better judgment I tried a local plumber. I have not had much success with plumbers in general. I told them that I knew the lines were plugged. They insisted it was water pressure, changed the connections on the toilets to get a better flush and charged $180.00. Needless to say the next day the lines backed up again and now I have to spend more money on another plumber to do what I wanted done the first time. Sometimes trade people just have to listen to what you want.

I thought I was having an issue with the toilet again so I called them and they came out right away and simply just plunged it because my slow butt dropped something in there but I really like that they did not charge me. Thanks!
I called them to repair a water heater. They gouged me on price and werent quite up front on what work was done already. If you are stuck, just know you will be paying a huge premium and dont get mad at it. But it was tough for me to let it go.
The first plumber they sent didn't know how to install a Waste King disposal. The second plumber knew how, but arrived four hours late because the owner sent him on another job first without bothering to inform me. Bottom line: I wasted a whole day waiting on a one-hour job. Should have called Vj's Plumbing.
All Stars! Had an emergency and they came by and saved the day immediately! Will def use them again and they have my highest recommendation!

This is the first time I'm actually taking the time to write a review. It was Saturday, memorial weekend and I had no warm water for my morning shower. Although their office was closed for the long weekend, Ray took the time to swing by my place to take a look at the water heater. I'm so thankful he did, because one of my friends might have attempted to relight the pilot light, which it turned out, would not have been a good idea... I needed a new water heater. Ray came on Memorial day and installed it! Both Ray and his wife, Mandy, were extremely helpful and professional. I will never use anyone but Palisades Plumbing. Fantastic service!
I've used Pacific Palisades for years. They just came out and changed my water heater to a tank less one based on the owner's recommendation, and let me tell you I love it. I was skeptical at first as I was worried that the hot water wouldn't last long enough but it's fantastic. The price wasn't bad and the installation was flawless. It's so great to know that there are still a few reliable 'Go to' businesses still out there.

Never again. Totally unethical. The new plumber we called said we should sue them they are liable for the work. Not going to do that but I am warning others not to use Palisades Plumbing.

Joe, the plumber is fantastic! He just fixed two consistent and prolonged problems for me: both the washing machine cold water flow and kitchen faucet water flow were reduced to a almost a trickle. In about one hour, Joe efficiently fixed both. He made my laundry and dish washing chords so much easier!!! Yes, you may have to clean up the work area after him but it is worth it. Thank you so much Joe!

We had some miscommunications between their office staff, their plumber, my tenant and myself -- too many people involved. But at the end, Palisades Plumbing did what they could for us and our non-functioning dryer. In the end, they weren't able to make the necessary repairs (they don't repair washer/dryers), but they were honest about their plumber's misdiagnosis of our issue and they didn't charge us. Honesty counts for a lot!

The technicians they have sent to my house have been great, but they are overpriced (or overcharge) so be careful. I have had my disagreements with the amount of time they have billed me for but paid the charges anyway since i didn't have any proof of start and end times for when they were here. Also, they started to chase me for an unpaid invoice that was dated a month old but was only sent to me once they got the part that was on backorder and installed it (took over 4 weeks to get the part). I paid the invoice within 3 days of receiving, but their office staff simply went by the invoice date and left me messages suggesting they were going to turn my account to a collection service! Bottomline is i advise being careful and stay on top of them - especially their billing, charges etc. I personally have been quite put off with this whole overcharging and bill collection situation so i will probably not use them again.
Plumber Joe is the way to go! At Palisades Plumbing. I have been calling Palisades Plumbing for several years They've been great in helping me resolve minor plumbing issues. Clogged sinks, leaks, toilet bowl replacement parts, etc.... I haven't had any major plumbing work needed yet and I never feel like they are trying to talk me into doing more work that is unnecessary. Plumber Joe is trustworthy, friendly and funny!
Great Service. Great Pricing. The plumber David was excellent. Very honest company. I would recommend these plumbers to anyone.

I would avoid these guys. Their work is inconsistent and subject to failure. Irrigation repairs did not last two years and it took them more than $1000 of work to figure out the solution to repeated back ups.

My first experience with the company and it was first-rate. The gas co. came to my home for a problem and turned off all pilot lights. They were unable to re-light my water heater pilot. Mario came from Palisades Plumbing and really knew his business. He did what had to be done, including noting that the part was still under warranty (the heater was 5 yrs. old). I would recommend them highly.

I have been using Palisades Plumbing for years and have always been happy. Yesterday I called for service to install a brand new kitchen faucet that I bought from Synder Diamond. Within 1 hour i had Joe the plumber here working on the installation. He also replaced some of my lines that were not up to code. I was happy to do this as I have wooden floors. Joe started the installation and realized that there was a part missing. He called Synder Diamond and talked with one of the owners regarding getting the missing part. Joe took the whole faucet with him and the next day went to Synder Diamond himself as he wanted to make sure they gave him the correct part. Sure enough the part they pulled for him was incorrect and they had to order another part from another store which they got within a couple of hours. If i went myself i would have come home with the wrong part and been frustrated when the plumber came again and could get the faucet to work. Joe was a great guy to work with and did high quality work with the replacement of the faucet and upgrade my existing houses. Joe has great ethics and lots of well deserved pride in the quality of work he does.
This is without a doubt the worst service company of any kind that I have ever dealt with. I can only assume that either the reviews of more than one star are all fraudulent or I was singled out to have a week of my time wasted. Guy who goes by Joe comes out and says he'll fix a leak under my house. When I try to find out when he's coming, instead of giving me a clue when he's coming, he says, We go by a schedule here, as if that tells me anything, as if I don't also have a schedule. Friday comes, he says call Monday. Monday comes, he says call Tuesday. All the while, I have a leak under my house. All the while, I'm juggling work and meetings to be here when his schedule permits. Tuesday morning I'm told he's definitely coming in the afternoon. I reschedule more appointments. I check back as it starts to get dark and he's relayed to their receptionist, Get someone else. I'm not going to crawl around down there. Now it's a free country. He can refuse any job he wants but WHY KEEP ME WAITING SIX DAYS BEFORE REFUSING TO DO THE JOB? I have reported them to two agencies. I'm sure it won't do any good. But if you're looking for a plumber in the Palisades area, it's hard to imagine how you could possibly do worse than Palisades Plumbing.

Palisades Plumber Joe came to our townhouse to assess a potentially problematic water heater and install some new hardware for our washing machine. If Mike Diamond's plumbers are on time and smell good, then Joe was AHEAD OF TIME and smelled FANTASTIC! All kidding aside, Joe was great...worked quickly, did great work, was on time, and is a super-likeable New Yorker (Brooklyn born and raised). The bill was more than reasonable given how much time he spent at our place and I would not hesitate to both recommend Joe/Palisades Plumbing and use them again in a second without hesitation.
If you are in the market for a responsive, honest company who does excellent work, look no further than Palisades Plumbing! I woke up today to a water heater that had sprung a pin size leak in the copper out take hose. Not having a plumber that I've used in the past, I jumped on line, called a 24 hour emergency plumber (with a slick website). They sent someone out within an hour. I immediately knew I was going to be shafted. The guy looked at the label on the water heater before anything else, told me since it was 9 years old (and in very good condition I might add) that I needed a new water heater. I said to replace the leaking line only. He told me he didn't carry that material on his truck and if he did it would cost me $400.00! I went back on line found and called Palisades Plumbing (in my neighborhood), within an hour their technician John was here, replaced both the intake and out take lines for $224.00 with a smile, and genuine honesty.
