Established in 1994.
This business came about from two brothers wanting to succeed in a new country. We started off very small only doing house calls and repairs. Through knowledge and experience we are now able to add on to our list of specialties. We are now capable of doing more complicated and time consuming jobs such as new construction. We plan on continuing to grow and expand as a company for a long time to come.

When we began our business over 26 years ago it was just us to going out every day working hard to provide for our families and make better lives for ourselves. We had a faulty kitchen faucet. Junior came in on a weekend to check it out. As the faucet was faulty and there was nothing to fix, Junior did not charge us and checked the faucet and gave the diagnosis for free.
We got a replacement faucet and Junior came to install it the next day. He installed it and cleaned up after himself and everything was done quick and professionally. They also checked our water pressure.

I needed to have my old toilet replaced with a new one. I searched in Yelp (of course, my go-to for any business search). A1 APEX Plumbing is very responsive and provided competitive quote. They are quick and flexible with my schedule. I simply ordered my new toilet from Home Depot and requested for store pick up with A1 APEX Plumbing as the person that'll pick it up. A1 APEX Plumbing charged additional for picking it up which is same charge as what Home Depot charges to have it delivered to my home. I chose to have A1 APEX Plumbing pick it up because those shipping companies are always damaging my deliveries. I'm very pleased and satisfied with the whole experience with A1 APEX Plumbing. I highly recommend them.

Highly recommend! They came really quickly, gave a multi-tiered quote with various options to work within our budget, and then did a pipe + garbage disposal replacement for us in a couple of hours. We haven't had any issues with the installation in the weeks since so I am confident that the work was done well. All around this a good, reliable, and professional company that you can trust to get the job done for a fair price.

Sagee came over to fix a shower leak. He explained the process from the very beginning and the potential costs before starting. Very professional and super friendly.
I cannot speak more highly about this company! I called all around and every company was telling me 24-48 hours to get someone out to look at my water heater. Two men came first thing in the morning to look at the issue. They were on time, knowledgeable and lovely people to work with. Definitely go here for any plumbing issues!
I'm converting my range from gas to electric. I needed the old range's gas line capped. Siggy & Junior came on time and speedily capped the line and checked to ensure the water heater gas line was restored after the job. I highly recommend this firm.

Had a great experience with A-1 Apex. Fair quote, responded very promptly and had same-day service. Sagee was very efficient and professional and got the installation of my new disposal squared away in a timely manner, ran tests and cleanup afterwards. Would use these guys again!

I called them because I thought I needed a hydro jet cleaning and I needed it taken care of today. Jaime and Gilbert arrived on time and determined hydro jet was not appropriate and instead did a thorough snaking of the pipe and gave me some good advice to further fix the area myself. Grateful for the honesty, quality work and saving me a bunch of money. Highly recommend.

We had an emergency sewage stoppage and A-1 Apex responded to our call immediately. They had to replace most of our (very old) sewer drains, a huge job, but they did it within two days and for a very reasonable cost. The workers were friendly and thorough and cleaned everything up afterward. I cannot praise them highly enough. I will use them from here on in for any plumbing problems that may arise.
Overpriced and did not solve the problem. Replaced a couple of valves that did not need replacing. Put some glue. Charged over $400 and did not fix the garbage disposal that I told them was the problem. Don't use. Zero stars.

We recently bought a house and moved in right before thanksgiving. What could go wrong?? And naturally the house had a broken water heater and we were not able to get hot water at all.
We found A-1 Apex pluming via Yelp, and Michael contacted us immediately and came for an assessment and gave us a project proposal to install a tankless water heater as well as updating the pipes under the house.
The Monday after thanksgiving, they got to work with 4 workers & they got the job done in a day. I did my research & their price was reasonable for the project. Now we have a beautiful tankless water heater that pumps out endless hot water for showering & everything else.

We just used Apex Plumbing to have our shower drain snaked. They came highly recommended by a neighbor of mine. They were able to get here in 20 minutes! They were very friendly, knowledgeable and professional. I have had bad luck in the past with many different plumbing companies, but these guys are good. They are a family owned and operated business. I will definitely use them again in the future!
I discovered a leak under my kitchen sink YESTERDAY (a good 2 inches of water and EVERYTHING soaked ;/) and had no idea what the problem could be. i am not a handy person, and willing to spend $$ on experts who can do the job right. A good realtor friend recommended A-1 Apex, who I contacted at 5:30PM last night. Michel picked up the phone on the 2nd ring, listened to my issue, gave me a reasonable estimate, and booked an appointment for me for the following morning. That took place about an hour ago :-) Jaime arrived on time, with the correct parts, was incredibly friendly and knowledgeable and efficient, and within the hour my sink was fixed. He took all old parts with him when he left and now my new garbage disposal is killing it, and the leak is gone! This issue was solved, from leak discovery to fixed, in about 24 hours. Had them repair my garbage disposal. First time was charged $400 for useless work. Second time got charged $400 for a ten minute thing. If you want to get ripped off over and over you should call them otherwise use someone else.

It took me about 2 weeks to find a good honest plumber in the Valley that actually had good business values. Michel called me back within 15 minutes of me posting on Yelp that I needed a plumber. He quoted me a price of $220 flat for the install. I told him that I was quoted $845 from Rooter Guard we both laughed. He had someone out within a few hours. Mauricio can out had a little issue with turning off the water and the angler stops but I told him to call Michel he quoted me $220 flat. To my surprise when he called Michel he was told how to correct the problem with out charging me extra money. This is how business should be conducted. If your customers are happy than your business will thrive. Michel I really appreciate your honestly and business ethics. I'll absolutely not only refer to my friends but will be calling you whenever I need plumbing work. Stay Safe!
I've had many plumbers over the years and these ones are my new favorites and hopefully forever after more - Ziggy came over with Sal and they got everything done and done well.
I think the planets are aligned in service and I thank the universe for it because that might sound hokey but really in these stressful times people are just over it but not these guys!
From the call in I had Michael text back and call back right away to tell me he'd let me know when they would be there.
They were able to come the very same day.
Ziggy and Sal not only snaked the kitchen sink, but Ziggy showed me a plastic part that had cracked - fixed it and gave me options and listened and knew exactly what needed to be done and could be done and did it. He is professional, affable, and trustworthy!
I love that this is a long run successful family run business and you are dealing with people who care about their customer as they know their customers make the business. Their prices are fair and not like done who seem to be gouging people with their prices because they can.

We've just had our driveway area drain cleared out by hydro jet. The service was excellent, courteous and they were knowledgeable. Very pleased to recommend this company.
Jaime came out and assessed the problem. He told me the solution and within 20 minutes, competed the work and cleaned up after himself. I recommend A-1 for their responsiveness, cleanliness, professionalism, and very polite! I will call them again for all of my plumbing problems.
Poor customer service. I discussed my issue with them and they said they could help, they had an opening for the same day. I asked them to hold it and see if they could come down in price $25.00 to match another quote. They agreed to hold it and would try and price match, saying they would call right back. 15 minutes passed, I called them and they said they booked the appointment with someone else , couldn't price match and the soonest they could help was in a week.
Very silly method of helping a customer when I was standing by with a plumbing emergency.
Our kitchen was clogged on the weekend and Junior was able fix within few hours of making the call

I highly recommend these folks! Within minutes of me calling, they were at our house and was able to solve our problem fairly quickly. They were knowledgeable, friendly and respectful. I'd use them again in a heartbeat.
Had to fix our leaky emergency earthquake valve asap and Jr and Sage came the same day to inspect it, bought the parts, and installed it the next day morning. Very professional and exceptionally done! Thank you guys so much!
I recently contacted Michael at A-1 Apex to come to assess our water pressure regulator at our business and he was able to come out the same day and had his team show up a couple of hours later to take care of everything. Properly priced, extremely good quality work, and quick too. Our business is now using A-1 Apex as our go-to plumbers from here forward after having a lot of problems with other plumbers not showing up or arriving late and not prioritizing our requests.

I needed a Plumber to camera a sewer line at one of our vacant tenant spaces in Canoga Park. I found A-1 Apex on Yelp and reached out for a quote. I was contacted immediately by Michel Gabay, and they were able to get to the job site with in a couple of hours of my request. The technician was knowledgeable and the service was excellent.

Very pleased with the entire process, from first contact, to finishing the repair. Sal explained very clearly, what caused the leak, and after opening my ceiling detected a second leak. The second leak was confirmed to be on the neighbor's side. They were precise with everything, measuring etc. They protected my furniture from the debris from the ceiling. They covered the hole with paper, which other plumbers have never done! Very professional.
Gilbert was very helpful and answered questions also. They arrived on time. Sal helped me understand other issues, and if the water to the entire complex needs shutting off or not, etc. Both were friendly and attentive. We will be in touch as soon as we make a plan for other repairs.
It's very restricting for residents here, in that we're only allowed to use the designated company for repairs needing a complete water shut off. However, A-1 Apex will get our business for other jobs. It's just a matter of having the budget for them.

We had a minor flood as our plumbing was backing up from the shower and overflowing the toilet in our ADU. Called A1 Apex Plumbing and they had a repairman out to our home within an hour. Never heard back from a few other companies so I really value A1 Apex for their expedient and excellent service. We needed to add a clean-out in front of our home and repair some of our main sewer line to correct the problems. A1 got to work ASAP and fixed the problem as quickly as possible. I was recently diagnosed with cancer, and it seems like we got bad news each way we turned. We can't thank A1 enough for working within our budget, understanding our situation and making our home a priority. Thank you to Jaime who explained the needed repairs so well and being in charge of our repairs. His colleague called to confirm the payment terms once they were already in the building (it's a rental property so I was not there), sent before and after pictures, and followed up immediately with an invoice and payment instructions. I called in the morning and they responded right away. I got an appointment for later that morning within a 2 hour window. The two guys who arrived were very courteous, clean, professional and easy to communicate with. They ended up working longer than I anticipated but kept to the estimate I was quoted. I will definitely use them next time. Five well-deserved stars.
I needed a complete repipe of all water lines due to repeated water leaks. My plumbing co referred me to Michel and Avi who came in the same day. They have an excellent skilled team of young workers. The job was done in 3 days.
Michel and his brother Avi and all the workers were very friendly. I got impressed indeed with the quality of the job done in my house. I think they deserve more than 5 stars. I stayed home during those 3 days despite the inconvenience. My phobia of water leaks came to an end so now I am ready for new flooring of my house
As a General Contractor my usual crew was unavailable. I reached out to Apex plumbing and their customer service exceeded my expectations by leaps and bounds. I've had them out twice and each time they were friendly, efficient and fixed the issue. I will be using them again in the next few weeks to jet my drain lines. They have made a repeat customer out of me and will use them when I can on my customers projects. 10 stars
They get the job done but if you're not careful and don't do your research they'll gouge the price up on the labor.
I had a bad leak in the backyard and it was flooding a bit into my garage... My usual guy couldn't come because he got into a bad car accident so I called these guys over for an estimate. When they came they were on their hands and knees digging through mud trying to find the source of the leak.
I was convinced by their dedication so I hired on the spot - that was probably my first mistake. Because they charged me $700 to repair the leak and kept tagging more little things on the job and charging pretty high prices for them. I'm not sure if the job was even that difficult for them because they finished within a couple of hours.
As a first time homeowner, I paid anyways because I wanted the leak gone right away but when I talked to other friends and compared prices online later on.. I was disappointed to discover they overcharged me on labor. ):
From what I'm reading from the reviews, they don't give you an estimate on paper before they start the job - I had to hound them for that. I think it makes it easy for them to just keep adding things on the job before giving you the invoice at the end.
Anyways.. the leak is fixed so I'm sure they know what they're doing. But if you don't do your research they will take advantage of you price wise. Hard lesson learned. ):

Our toilet was leaking and I reached out to A-1 Apex Plumbing. There response was in seconds and they were at my door within an hour and a half. Sagee and Junior were professional and went right to work to fix the problem. Very reasonably priced and so kind. I can say that Apex plumbing is our new plumbing company to call.
Had an emergency when our bathroom drain stopped up late in the day... the brackish water stuck in the sink was very unpleasant. Our Home Warranty people said they couldn't make it out until the next day and the thought of going through the night with g-d knows WHAT in my sink gave me the heebie-jeebies!
Apex Plumbing to the rescue!!! These guys were quick to respond and showed up within an hour. Took them all of 10 minutes to fix the problem and the price was very reasonable considering it was an emergency call.
They laid down floor coverings and buckets and left the place cleaner than they found it... that's one thing that really stood out, these guys respected our home and made sure they left the bathroom in better condition than they found it.
If you doubt me? Just read all the other reviews! 99% positive, and the one negative Nancy seems to have had some communication problem. These guys are the real deal, I had no problems communicating and everyone from the owner on down was straightforward and friendly.
This was during COVID so I need to add that the guys were masked and gloved and very respectful of space. Next time I have a plumbing emergency I know who I'm calling!

This is the second time Sagee has come out to unclog our kitchen sink and address a leak. He and his team are always so professional and kind when they arrive. They took the time to walk me through the process, potential options, and pricing as well as took the extra step to crawl under my home to assess any other potential issues we may be having. Sagee and Sal were phenomenal - they gave us a level of professional customer service that I wasn't even aware existed amongst plumbers. We had a leaky toilet and a busted fill valve. Sagee Identified the problem immediately and was very clear with what would be needed to fix it. My new go-to plumber! My tenants had a problem with the shower - scalding hot water only! I called A-1 late on a Wednesday and they were at the house bright and early the next day to resolve the issue! They thoroughly explained the problem and were super accommodating of my situation, handling from a remote location in Washington. Trustworthy, fast, and reliable!
Sal was amazing! My 3 year old flushed unknown toys down the toilet and It got clogged. This company was responsive, kept me up to date on arrival times, and was reliable. Sal was so kind and caring and offered to let my overeager 3 year old be his assistant and lead him to the bathroom. They were fast, efficient, and went way out of their way to be kind, engaging, and took the time to interact with my son. Sal helped me have a conversation with my son about about why we don't flush toys down the toilet. This was such a good experience and my son had so much fun that I'm a little worried he may flush more toys just so Sal can come back.

I finally had to replace my sloan flushmate after 13 years and reached out to a couple of places on Yelp. Mike at A1 was the only plumber that took the time to call Sloan and actually let me know that the replacement unit was under lifetime warranty, which I had no idea about.
This saved me $150 for the part, which the other plumbers would have charged me. I paid for labor only and the pricing was fair. The guys came and replaced the unit without issues

A-1 Apex saved the day!! We had a tankless water heater that was not igniting and Mauricio came out within the hour and quickly diagnosed the issue and fixed it. Response to A-1 Apex Plumbing:
Thank you for proving my point! First let me say that the job and the price charged speaks for itself. Next, you contacted me via another platform and I have reviewed you on that platform as well, no where else.
1) You admit that I was quoted and charged for travel time to get parts, which never happened. The bathroom job was a straight forward stem valve replacement. Your plumber certainly knew that he already had the parts and didn't need to inflate the price to include going out for them. You seem to think that if you can fool clients into agreeing to your price that price gouging is okay.
2) Do the math. The charge and the time spent equal the hourly rate charged.
3) Of course you were nice. You duped us into overpaying you. I contacted you about this issue before reviewing, but you did not to respond me. That's how caring and professional your business is. In addition, just look at the invoice we were given (after we paid). There's no breakdown of parts and labor. How professional is that?
4) I'm glad that you've mentioned that you also tried to charge us a 3.5% credit card fee on top of your inflated price.
Original Review:
We trusted Michel and his business A-1 Apex Plumbing and got severely over charged. I connected with Michel through the app NextDoor. Michel lives in my general neighborhood. Long story short, they came out for two separate issues; to replace 2 angle stops in the kitchen (charged us $55.00 ea) and to replace 2 stems (leaky shower faucet) in the the bathroom (charged us $175.00 ea.), for a total of $460.00. When I asked the plumber why the bathroom price was so much higher than the kitchen, he told me it was going to take a long time to fix and that he might have to go out for parts. So, I trusted them, because Michel is a neighbor, and I agreed. Turns out it only took him 20 minutes top to replace the 2 stems in the bathroom, and he already had the parts. I looked them up and valve stems cost under $50.00 ea. So, if the parts ran say, $80.00 (that's a generous assumption), the labor charge was $270.00 for 20 minutes of work, or $540.00 an hr. MY BAD for agreeing. MY BAD for wanting to support a neighbor. MY BAD for trusting a neighbor.
Just had A-1 Apex Plumbing out to our home for a 2nd time and they took care of this issue with the same efficiency as the last time. Michel sent out Jaime, the tech who took such good care of us the last time, and Jaime again sorted out our problem quickly and provided a great fix. A-1 Apex Plumbing is very responsive, very professional, and very well priced. They are our plumbers for any issues moving forward.
Sunday evening we had a huge issue with our shower overflowing, these guys came out at 7pm on a Sunday evening and cleared the line so the water drained.. fast forward to the next morning and we had the same issue occur. The team at A-1 Apex came out immediately to see what the further issue was, turns out we had a massive root growing in our main line drain. After discussing the solution they were able to tackle the entire job in one day and completely solve the issue. Very good value very professional service. Definitely recommend.

Michele and his crew were very professional and honest. They came out and tried to fix a clogged toilet but unfortunately it was a sewer line that collapsed due to years and material it was made from. They replaced the sewer line and installed two clean outs for future needs. Michele and his team took the time to make sure everything was done in the best possible way. I highly recommend A-1 Apex plumbing.
Long over due review. I called late one afternoon and was told a technician could come out the next morning. I have had a horrible time with water bugs terrorizing my bathroom! Jaime arrived on time, assessed the issue, gave me 2 solutions and recommended what to try first. Not only did he perform the work, but came back 2 days later to make sure everything was OK. Friendly and very thorough, diagnosed my problem and took care of it promptly. Faulty shower valve was replaced and they checked other parts of the water system to see if there was any other issues related. Price was fair and matched the quote I was given. Definitely would have them come back if I have future needs.

I had the greatest experience with this company. They gave me a quote yesterday on 4/1/21, told me they had time to do the repair the next day. They showed up at 8am, they were VERY friendly, and fast. They did great work, showed us all the repairs they did and made sure we were happy with everything. The pricing was amazing and reasonable.
I can honestly say I have never met a better group of people to do my repair. I cannot recommend this company enough! I will definitely refer them to everyone I know.
This has been our third time using A-1 Apex Plumbing since finding them on Yelp a couple of months ago. We had an issue at a rental house that they were able to fix very quickly and affordably. We were so impressed with them, we called them out again for another rental house repair and then had them come to our main house to do some work with the water heater and clogged sinks/shower heads. My husband and I are very impressed with Steven's professional and polite demeanors and they seem eager to help. They were able to work around our schedules and seem to be priced very fairly. We ditched our existing plumber for A-1 and we'll never look back.
The entire A-1 team were:
- Timely (Arrived on time and finished the work within 1 day as promised)
- Responsive (Provided a rapid-fast quote and responded to messages quickly)
- Honest (Provided thorough and rationale solutions for my plumbing problems) and
- Affordable (Nearly half the cost of my ex-plumber)
They helped us remove our old tankless water heater out of our attic and installed a new one on the side of the house.
When the two Knights in shining armor showed up I knew within minutes that I had found the plumber that I could trust for many years to come! They are on time, arrived with a great attitude, eager to help solve any plumbing problem that my wife and I might have. They not only saw the visible problem right away, they fixed it in no time. They were very efficient and thorough in their work, checking everything at least twice to make sure it was just as it should be.
Seriously, in this world we live in, sometimes it is difficult to find someone you can trust and count on to do the right thing and at a fair price. I have found just such a company in A-1 Apex Plumbing. If you are fortunate enough to live in their service area you should definitely hire them. I know that I will hire no other company after having such an amazing service. I not only have a GREAT new plumber I have made two new friends. A-1 will definitely be on my Holiday card list this next year! And it is a very short list.

A1 came out to diagnose a water heater issue and quickly determined it needed a new Thermocouple. They advised I contact the manufacturer to request the part as my unit was still under warranty which would ultimately save me money on the materials. Their pricing was very fair and they did not charge a fee to diagnose the issue which many other companies did. I will now have them come back out to replace the faulty parts and will happily pay them the labor owed which was also a very reasonable price. Highly recommend.

We had a valve leak in our toilet, I called A-1 at 10:45am, they were able to send somebody over within 20 minutes who was finishing an nearby job (they called to confirm after he finished the job to let me know he was coming over), and it's now 11:45am and they are all done- impeccable service. Jaime was very professional and up-front, was clear about cost and no hidden charges before doing the job, and everything works great. Have used A-1 Apex plumbing twice in the past month; to replace a broken garbage disposal, and to replace a leaking pressure regulator. The same plumber, Sagee, came both times. He was prompt (came within 20 minutes from when I called), clean, polite, and explained everything he was going to do before starting the job. They are now my 'go to' plumbers.

Michel, Not one word of what you wrote here is true! You did not take any responsibility for the poor plumbing your employee installed that ruined our floors and cabinets. Neither of us ever spoke or agreed on anything by text or otherwise after this 'work'. There was no discussion about reimbursement and you certainly were not given an approval or a text of thanks for this mess. You did nothing to make it right. Is there no respect for truth anymore?

Fast response time, sooner than expected and problem was solved. No warranty offered other than three months and there was an extra charge for that. They did a good job, very clean and cleaned kitchen drain down to clean out, about 40 feet or so. Hopefully it will last a while. Would use them again. Professional work done in timely fashion.

I need some work done on my water heater and reached out to A-1 Apex Plumbing. The first person I spoke with was Michel and he was great with explaining everything i needed in a way I can understand. They were able perform a free estimate and provide me with some option for the work I needed done at a reasonable price. They were able to schedule me in for the next day to do the repair at a time that worked well for me.

Fast, friendly service, and good value. I had a clogged tub drain that I tried plunging and using an inexpensive drain snake with no luck. Called at 9am and they said they would be available same day at 11:30. Got a call saying they could come sooner at 10:30 and they arrived right on time and got the job done quickly. Definitely recommend.
I spoke to Michael about a clogged sink and he was super accommodating he got someone to come over same day. Price was reasonable and such an easy process. Will use again!

Paid them to come in and get garbage disposal unstuck. A little too many phone calls to get it done (intake, coordinator, plumber, payment collector) but everyone was very nice, responsive and professional. Called them around 10AM and disposal was fixed before 2PM. Very fast. Would definitely turn to them again for my plumbing needs.

The best plumbing business in the San Fernando Valley and beyond! 8 years ago, when we bought our new home we found sewer damage to the main sewer line. They were able to completely resolve our issues with trench-less piping. A year ago, we remodeled our home and brought A-1 Apex back.
They did an entire repipe from galvanized to PEX piping. They also upgraded our water heater from tank to tankless! In addition they just did a new earthquake valve. You won't regret choosing them for your needs!
I hired them to install a garbage disposal when mine started leaking. They provided a fair and transparent quote, arrived quickly and finished the job much quicker than I expected. They cleaned up after themselves and they were very professional and courteous. Highly recommend! I'd definitely do business with them again in the future.

We had a leak on my tankless water heater today. I fill up request for repair on yelp, 6 companies reply in no time but A-1 Apex the only ones that send me rough prices and came in less then 1 hour to my house. Yaniv and sagee fix the problem with very fair price and did service for the heater as well.
3 hours after they left I realized that I don't have hot water around the house(after business hours), I called the company and explained that I have a baby and we need hot water tonight.
Guess what 15 minutes later knocked on the door yaniv showed up reset the system and confirmed that everything is working.
They deserve more then 5 stars

I am not easily impressed, but must post my accolades and recommendation for Apex Plumbing. This is the 2nd time I've used them. First to install a toilet and sink. This time to use camera and hydro jet a blocked drainage pipe. They were amazingly thorough and knowledgeable. Kept me informed along the way. They were persistent and did not up-sell me. If I need help again I definitely plan to call them.
