Had two ceiling fans, an outdoor plug and switch installed today by Avila Electric.  They did an absolutely amazing job! Showed up on time, covered up walls and floor to protect from dust and cleaned up after work was done as if they were never here. Super happy with all the work, top quality, professional, will be using them again and would highly recommend to anybody.

Woke up to find that 80% of our outlets had no electricity. I found Jeremy on HomeAdvisor called him. Jeremy was very accommodating in setting up an  appt. I appreciate that he was honest about his schedule and didn't over promise  his availability in order to get our job. Jeremy was prompt and was able to quickly diagnose the problem. 2 hours later and 5 new circuit breakers we had power.  Jeremy was knowledgeable and his pricing was fair and readonabl. We will definitely use him for other projects we have planned. It is great to find a local electrician in Long Beach!

Fernando was quick to help us with an electrical issue and some burning we smelled from one of our outdoor outlets that had gotten wet in the rain! He came out within an hour and resolved the issue. We feel very assured to have a reliable, honest electrician Local to us and highly recommend Roc Electric if you need an electrician!

Isreal and his crew are awesome. We needed a panel upgrade and EV charger installed. We'd started with another company but they weren't moving the project along so we called Isreal. The whole thing was done in two weeks, including the permits! We've found our go to electrician.

Last Friday, I had HandyLectric come out and look at a few lights that weren't working in our kitchen and bathroom.  They suggested the issue was the ballasts and suggested removing the lights and replacing with LED cans to avoid future ballast problems and save money with LEDs.  So far, so good, as I think this was good advice.  They posed this as a reasonable and easy replacement, but said nothing more about the process or work involved in doing that switch other than (1) to say it would take 2-3 hours and cost $100 per can, (2) that they would like to tell us what color light we preferred in the meantime, and (3) that they would be here at 8am this Friday.  The men were in and out quickly, saying they had to work on another job and the other crew wasn't available to handle the work that day.  Again, this all seemed fine and we were so far pleased with the professionalism, even if it meant taking another day off of work.

Today (Friday) at 8:15 (15 minutes after they should have arrived), I receive a voicemail from Jeremy at Handylectric to see if they can send out the workers and go over a couple of things.  I call right back and, at that point, I'm told that the work will involve removing the ballasts by ripping up the ceiling stud-to-stud, work that they would not patch, something that he wanted to make sure I realized.  I did not, in fact, realize that.  While I understand they're electricians not painters/plasterers, obviously if they had fully explained the work ahead when they proposed it last Friday, I could have arranged for other contractors to come to patch (perhaps seeking a recommendation from them), or sought a company that could do both (which certainly exists, since I've already discussed it with other electricians).  I am not an electrician or a contractor and thus had no familiarity with what would be involved in the work when proposed; when it was put to me as a 2-3 hour straightforward job, I assumed that, at the end of that, I would have attractive and efficient LED lighting without accompanying holes in my ceiling.  

When I asked why the full scope of the work (especially the holes that would not be patched) was not explained to me in advance, Jeremy at first said this was why he was glad he talked to me before sending the guys over.  I said this was unacceptable given that it was a week after the guys initially looked at the lights and after the time they should have arrived on a day where I'd obviously already taken off work without having the opportunity to make other arrangements to have my ceiling patched.  Jeremy then claimed that the man who came last Friday HAD told me the ceiling would be opened but not patched.  This wasn't true, as both my wife and I can attest.  Nor would it make sense that (1) I was so surprised by it today if I had been told or (2) Jeremy would need to tell me about it again on the day he was supposed to be sending the guys to my house since he would have already known that I fully understood the process.

Thus, while I thought the price was good and initially was happy with the professionalism of the men who visited last Friday, today's response (and attempt to retroactively cover for their prior incomplete explanation) means I will be finding a different company to do the work.

Tim came out and installed an electrical outlet and also a new light fixture.  I had gotten a quote from another electrician who serves the Mar Vista area who quoted me double what Tim charged.  Tim came out right away, was professional, and I would definitely call him again with any other electrical issue.

Ryan is the real deal here! I am so glad I found him through a friend. Ryan did a big job for our home recently and it was flawless! He really puts quality, and professionalism into his work all the time! He showed up when he said he would and work late till the job was done!

I called up Martin on a weekday to see if he could give me an estimate for installing a 14-50 outlet and 60 amp breaker. He asked me if I could send him a photo of the panel and where I wanted the outlet. About an hour later he gave me an estimate and it was much lower than the other two I received. He also said he would be able to install it the very next day and it would only take him a couple of hours. He was done in less than that.

Martin is professional, courteous, knowledgeable and very reasonable in terms of price. He even commented on some of the work that my previous electrician had done and where some improvements could be made.

I would definitely recommend his business.

Really excellent service from Mike and his team. They upgraded the service and main panel, installed an EV charge point and had the whole thing approved and done in a few days. Excellent!

These guys are real con men. Haven't even sent us a receipt even though we've asked and they said they would a number of time.

They gave me an estimate but in the end we ended up paying double. I understand an estimate is an estimate and some things might change but I was clear about the two new conduits we needed to run and instead of running two of them all the way, they wanted to use a very old used conduit that is buried in our yard (and that we also might need for something else in the future). When they couldn't use that one, which they hadn't seen of course until they dug up so couldn't have been in their estimate, they added a couple of hundred dollars.

On top of that they also ran the conduits in the middle of a wall instead of close to the ground so it looks a bit shit. Luckily we could alter that part ourselves.

In the end they still partly used another old conduit the last part of the job.

Really really incredibly bad in every way. They also talked so much you couldn't get a word in so in the end we just gave up.

These are the guys giving contractors a bad name.

Don't use them. It will not only ruin whatever you're planning to do but also your mood.

I called them around 10am this morning, and they were able to get someone out here the same day! My air conditioning was leaking-- they took a quick look and turns out the tube was clogged. They were quick and courteous!-- I appreciated that they used this rubber booties to keep my home clean. There is a 49 dollar diagnostic fee for coming out (which can be applied to your final estimate)  My air is back up and running! Happy customer here! Thank you.

Had 7-8 little electrical projects to finish up with on our remodel. Grant, Alex and their team showed up on time and got right to work.  Installed two canned ceiling lights, fixed a miss wired switch and ran power to an outlet that was busted. Very happy with the work, their professional and friendly demeanor!

Came on time and the work was done fairly quickly at a fair price. Highly recommend his service and will use for future projects.
