I don't normally write reviews, but since I've received such stellar service from Avila Electric for over a decade, I feel compelled to give them a glowing endorsement. I am a real estate agent and have dealt with many trades relating to homes over the years and Avila Electric is my go-to for all electrical needs. I hired them 11 years ago to re-wire a home I had just purchased in Echo Park - the prior electrician had really messed things up and Elder Avila came in; re-did everything giving me recommendations, safety advice, and keeping me in the loop all along the way.  Not only did he come in on-time and in-budget, but his follow-up and conscientous work ethic is what really makes him a true professional and one that I totally trust and rely upon.  If Elder tells me something needs to be done, or doesn't as the case may be, I know it to be true.  Also, if there is an electrical issue that becomes stingy or hard to figure out, he doesn't stop until he completes it, no matter how long it takes.  I will continue to call them for all electrical related work, and refer my clients to them!

Couldn't be happier with Min's service. I called late last night with a blown breaker and damaged subpanel. He was very patient on the phone trying to understand the issue. He got all the parts ready in the morning before showing up to replace the subpanel. He was very knowledgeable and his work was neat. He even covered up the wall that he had to open to access the wire, and cleaned up nicely. I've seen and heard electrician don't take care of any patch up work. I forgot to take a picture of the wiring before he closed up the panel cover. But it's awesome work. I felt very comfortable to have him work on my electrical. His price is very reasonable as well. I hope I won't need to hire an electrician again, but if I do, I will definitely ask for him.

I am happy to report that my experience with Alfano Electric was extraordinary. This is now the second time I have used them at my house in Santa Monica and they were on time, under-budget and very professional in all ways. They left the house clean and the work they did was excellent. Diana, who runs the office, was very pleasant and professional on the phone. Overall the whole experience was terrific. I would happily and comfortable recommend them.

I had the pleasure of working with Jeremy this past week and could not be happier with his services. Very efficient, responsive, straight forward, and easy to work with. He installed recessed lighting in all our rooms, fans, and a garage EV charger for my Tesla.

Great service. A light fixture needed to be replaced in a rental unit that I own on the West side, and since I could not be there in person (I currently live in Claremont, CA) Tim did not require immediate payment from the tenants after service, and billed me electronically instead. Remote communication was great, and he charged me exactly the amount that he had previously quoted me.

Robert was great and very pleased with his work and professionalism. I found him on yelp and originally called him out for a small issue, he was able to fix it in a few minutes. Since he was already there, I asked for a quote to install 3 Ring flood lights and hang a TV (didn't know electricians did this but he does) and he gave me a reasonable quote. About a week had passed and I was now getting ready to go out of town for an extended time and forget to follow up with Robert and schedule for the work to be done. I called Robert asking if he can fit me in within the next 2 or 3 days, after moving things around, Robert called me back and told me he would be able to come before my trip and do the job. I was thrilled that he could fit me in.

The day of the job, I asked if he could also install a Ring door bell, he said he could and again I was happy he could fit that in as he had another job after mine. I think overall my job took longer than expected but Robert never rushed the job and made sure that everything was properly installed before he left.

Recently moving in, I didn't have internet so I was not able to check my flood lights or door bell, but the TV installation looked great. As of today, I have internet and have connected my flood lights and doorbell. Everything works perfectly and couldn't be happier with Robert's work. I will definitely be using Robert for any future jobs.

Boris and Jason showed up on time to install a 220 in my garage for my EV vehicle. They did quick research on what was needed for the charger and installed under 2 hours for a great price. Made sure it was working properly and gave me further recommendations if I wanted to upgrade and already installed the wiring so it would be easier. Super nice and knowledgeable! Highly recommend!!!

My parents needed a panel upgrade. We called Martin and he quickly scheduled a time to see the house and provide us with an estimate. The price was fair so we decided to move forward. He really communicated clearly what the process would entail including permits. We were really happy and impressed with his work and how clean the installation turned out. I would call Martin again for electrical needs in our home.

I cannot write enough good things about Branover Contractors. I called them to have a TOU meter and wall charger installed for my Tesla. They committed to coming out to the house at 8:00am 2 days later. They came out a day earlier to scope out the job on the outside of the house and they showed up as promised the next day right on time. They got right to work and installed the external conduit/panel as well as the wall charger in the garage. They made quick work of it taking only a few hours.

The most impressive part comes AFTER the work though. Michael kept me informed daily of the progress being made in getting the inspectors from LADWP and LABS out to finalize the job. They got the LABS permit the same day of the job but coordinating the two agencies for final approval was a bit of a challenge that Branover handled without any involvement from me whatsoever. They obviously have a great rapport with the inspectors (side note - Mr. Smith a LADWP is a super friendly gentleman who helped guide me in starting the process before calling Branover).

I would not hesitate to recommend Branover to anyone looking for an electrical contractor.

What a fantastic experience!

You often wonder what you are REALLY getting these days when you contact a serviceperson for an emergency with whom you have never worked. Are they going to charge way too much because of your situation? Are they going to do unnecessary work? Or, heaven forbid, not enough work that will leave you with a more serious emergency?

The answer to all these questions with Enrique at Live Conductor was NO! He was prompt, both in answering my Yelp message and contacting me via cell.

He came quickly and assessed the situation, and quoted a fair price. He found that it was something that happened some time ago that was overlooked and could have cost much more in the future, or even caused a fire. He even put a new light in that illuminates the space better than ever.

So thank you sincerely, Enrique, we will definitely use you in the future. Because of your level of service and expertise, you turned a one time emergency call into a regular customer!

Well...exactly, I didn't really use his service. I had some electrical problems. Only the kitchen power and lightings came on. I called Don Ballard. He answered the phone and said he would be at my house in an hour. While I was waiting for him to come, I played with the power and was able to get it to work again. I told him no need to come anymore. He was totally cool about it, even though I ended up wasting 20 min of his time. Will definitely use his service next time!

I can not say enough good things about this company. Our hot water heater went out on of course a friday night. My husband in a panic called Mike Diamond. They said they would come out, never did, never called. Thank heaven because those reviews are awful . I called several other people but no one comes out on Sunday night. Than i saw American Reliable Services. They are based in LA, but also do Orange County. The dispatcher was warm and friendly and spoke perfect English. Always a plus. She worked around our schedule. Eckert was our tech, he called when he was 10 min late. Was professional and told us what we needed. The call and the repair on a Sunday night was 225.00. My gosh I felt like it was free. I have been ripped off in the past, especially by heating and plumbing people. ARS was dependable, resonalble, and fixed the problem right away. I will use them again and again. I will let anyone who needs heating or plumbing know. This is a great company.

I wanted to make outlet in our pantry - the owner responded right away and arranged to send his technicians to take a look. They came within few hours and gave me a quote of $150. I thought the price is reasonable and they installed within 30 mins. On the other days, the outlet wasn't working and I called. They again arranged someone right away and came to fix the issue. Love their professionalism and fast service. One thing I learned is that you need to have someone who is bonded, insured, and licensed when it comes to electronic. I will definitely ask their help again if i have further project
