I don't normally write reviews, but since I've received such stellar service from Avila Electric for over a decade, I feel compelled to give them a glowing endorsement. I am a real estate agent and have dealt with many trades relating to homes over the years and Avila Electric is my go-to for all electrical needs. I hired them 11 years ago to re-wire a home I had just purchased in Echo Park - the prior electrician had really messed things up and Elder Avila came in; re-did everything giving me recommendations, safety advice, and keeping me in the loop all along the way.  Not only did he come in on-time and in-budget, but his follow-up and conscientous work ethic is what really makes him a true professional and one that I totally trust and rely upon.  If Elder tells me something needs to be done, or doesn't as the case may be, I know it to be true.  Also, if there is an electrical issue that becomes stingy or hard to figure out, he doesn't stop until he completes it, no matter how long it takes.  I will continue to call them for all electrical related work, and refer my clients to them!

Min went above and beyond. We had him come just to install some electrical components, but he was thorough and discovered something that could have caused major damage to our home.

Min found a serious issue inside the breaker box. Because we just moved in, we called the previous owner to address the issue. The previous owner sent his own electrician to check. That electrician was also shocked how bad it looked.
Good thing it got fixed before any major damage occurred.

We were having a problem with lights flashing in our bathroom and bedroom and the condo complex where we live suggested Alfano Electric.  I called and spoke to the very nice girl working in the office and set up an appointment for the next day.  John Alfano and his son-in-law arrived when expected and even called when they were on their way.  Both these men were total gentlemen and a pleasure to have in my home.  They were extremely professional, talked to me and listened to my concerns, they were well prepared and had everything they needed for the repair in their truck.  The repair was a bit tricky but they figured it out and all our lights are burning steadily now.  John even offered to do some vacuuming where they had worked!  I believe their estimate and bill were very fair and I would recommend them with no hesitation, they were the description of good work and customer service.

The electrician solve my problem quickly and was very affordable. I would recommend Croft electric to anybody with any electrical needs.

I only do same day reviews if it's worth it or that bad, and let me say this electrician was that great! I called them on Sunday at 11:30 and Fernando got here by 1pm on the same day!

He was as polite, upfront and friendly in person as he was on the phone. Our electricity had gone out on half of the house and after trying the main circuit breakers, were at a loss on a solution.

We already knew the owners before we bought the house tried to fix things on their own in not the safest manner. We could've hired an unlicensed electrician or handyman but we are so glad we went with a legit, licensed electrician whose prices are reasonable and affordable.

While fixing the problem with the circuit breakers, Fernando also took note of small things to fix on our own to save money and also a few other things he could take care off in the future. There was no pressure to get things done ASAP as it was more suggestions for safety and up to code. We also had him fix our recessed lighting which we haven't been able to work consistently for the past several years!

We would absolutely hire Fernando and his co again and wouldn't hesitate in referring him. He went out of his way to check all our outlets, including the garage and backyard. I normally only hire companies with lots of reviews but I'm so glad he returned our call when most companies are closed on Sundays. It's a good reminder for me to give other companies with less reviews a chance as this company was a real gem! Thank you Fernando!

Amazing! He's done so much work for us and we are extremely happy!!! He's done new wall sockets, tv mounting, ring doorbell, ring flood light camera, and there is much more we want done. He's always giving great suggestions which we love as first time home buyers.

Just got an EV and Jeremy and his team helped me plan and execute my charging setup. Jeremy did a great job communicating as we planned for the estimate visit, and was a pleasure to work with. He didn't try to upsell me on what needed to be done, and we ended up with a plan that cost thousands less than some of the other estimates that I received. When it came to getting the work done, his guys were on time, quick, and professional. Thanks Jeremy!

Tim has worked on a number of projects at our home over the last couple of years and has done extremely high quality work each time. In a recent project in which he was doing extensive re-wiring for a remodel of both our bathrooms his work drew high praise from the main contractor foreman who also has an electrician on staff. In addition, I have always found his estimates to be extremely reasonable and accurate. I have referred him to many people and highly recommend him.

Hands down the ONLY guys and gals I'm calling for electrical work. My whole back yard was Mickey moused in the 60s and these guys came in and set it right! Thank you James and the whole team who came out and set us up, correctly! We are very appreciative. Also Kris - who answers the phones - is so kind and helpful, answering all my 1000's of questions and was so patient with me! Thank you all!

Boris and Jason showed up on time to install a 220 in my garage for my EV vehicle. They did quick research on what was needed for the charger and installed under 2 hours for a great price. Made sure it was working properly and gave me further recommendations if I wanted to upgrade and already installed the wiring so it would be easier. Super nice and knowledgeable! Highly recommend!!!

Honest and professional.  Martin came out on time and assessed the problem with a short circuit causing a tripping breaker efficiently.  He was able to isolate the cause of the problem.   I really appreciate professionals like Martin.  We need more folks like him.

If you have been looking for an electrician that is a cut above everyone else, look no further because you just found it. I have worked with many contractors over the years so you know when you find the one that truly shines. Dependable, professional, courteous, extremely knowledgeable and just solid nice people. Lenny and his son Michael have really did an outstanding job for me. I purchased my Tesla Model 3 and needed to get a NEMA-1450 outlet installed in my condominium parking space. I called Branover and Michael very kindly walked me through the process and explained all the steps about who I need to contact at the utility company, how much it was going to cost, how long it was going to take etc. What was impressive is that I he didn't even know whether I was going to work with them or not he was just being helpful and just trying to be helpful. Lenny the owner who has been been doing this since 1985 met with me several times and helped me meet with Edison to figure out where we can install meter and helped with the overall approval. Then I had to wait for more than a month for HOA to review all documents and issue approval. Again I have not paid these guys a dime. In any case once all the approvals were ready Branover got to work, they obtained all the city permits, installed the EV charging outlet, got the final inspection and approval done with flying colors. They were proactive, I did not have to chase them for anything - in a nutshell really a top notch service. I know I will be using these guys for years to come and you should too.

As unprofessional as it gets. Rude, nasty, and make specific efforts to insult you. Why would you insult me like that? Are you the only electrician in town?

Excellent service and price.  Adrian and his team were very thorough and knowledgeable. They upgraded our wiring in one part of our home that had been dead for years.  We will definitely hire them again for future projects.

My wife and I had bought a fancy new washer and dryer and the outlet in our home which was a twist lock had to be replaced with a  3 prong. We also had him install a lighting fixture that I had neglected to install as well :)
Enrique called ahead to let us know that he would be a little early.  He worked very cleanly and finished quickly and finished on cost without any hidden charges.  
We plan to use him again for future work.

I love this company for so many reasons. First of all they always respond to my call or text. They always do a very clean job. I've been had them do multiple jobs and they have never put a hole in a wall or ceiling. They try their hardest not to. Today they let me know there might be a problem and they might have to make a small hole but they did what they could and got it done without a hole. I think their prices are fair and most of all very very responsive and come when they say they are going to come.

Exceptional service! Our electrician Arthur is very honest and professional. He helped us get our electrical installed to code and passes through inspection for our business. He is very knowledgeable, personable and provided us with a very high quality service.

They were very responsive via Yelp. They came and accessed the issue and quickly repaired the outlet and light switch all while answering all of my questions. I would highly recommend them.

I'm stunned to be posting this but not as stunned as I am about being left in the dark, Literally. All outlets went out in my home office, Bedroom, and one important outlet in a bathroom. Marco came by last week and checked all the dead outlets. He couldn't find the problem and with all screws left out of the outlets, he promised he'd let me know when he will come back to finish the job on Monday or Tuesday. Late in the day Monday when he did not respond to an email, I called him. I could tell in his voice that he didn't want the job but he said he'd either email or call me by the end of the day, Monday. He never emailed or called. He never finished the job leaving a dark bedroom and office I need working for my printer and computer. At least he should have been honest instead of having me wait almost a week since the problem began. Today I had another electrician fix the problem by a guy who honed in on the problem within the hour and even said I should pay him what I thought it was worth. His review will appear in his area on Yelp. Who conducts business like this?
