The Electrician Electrician
I didn't end up using The Electrician but in providing an estimate virtually he was very thorough and asked good questions. He was also responsive with my questions and provided some good tips as well.

Next time I have a project for an electrician I know where to start no need for all the flurry of quotes that come when you start a project on Yelp.

Meza Electric Electrician
Paul was super helpful with my EV charger installation. He found a way to work within my budget and went above and beyond by fixing multiple issues with breaker without going above his original quote. He was always available by phone and scheduled me promptly for service. He took the time to answer all my questions in detail so I could learn about the installation process. I'm came away away smarter and completely happy with the service he provided. Thank you Paul!!

Eric Hernandez Electric Electrician
Eric has helped us with whole house rewiring. The first time I met him I realized right away he has so many years of experience and he knows what he is doing. He was brimming with energy and enthusiasm working around the clock to deliver the project on time. His workmanship was one of the most clean and perfect house rewiring I have ever seen. We passed the city inspection on the first attempt. I highly recommend his work.

Santucci Electric Electrician
I could not be more disappointed with some work recently completed by Santucci Electric.

My mother wanted to replace some dead fluorescent bulb lamps in her garage with LED lighting. She hired Santucci after a positive first visit/estimate. She then e-mailed him a description of and link to the lighting fixtures she wanted, with a special note to make sure that he got that specific kind of lighting and not another (she wanted smooth rather than ridged plastic fixtures; she would have been happy to get the item herself, but the electrician said that he could order it). When he was nearly done with the installation, I came in and noticed that the fixtures were the wrong kind--exactly the kind she didn't want. The electrician balked (because he didn't want to have to undo his work, understandably) until we located the email exchange and reminded him that we had specifically asked for something else. He then became very apologetic and nice, acknowledged that he'd ordered the wrong item, and wanted to make things right. That was all great--although I suspect that if we hadn't had email proof, he would not have done this. But still, all good, and anyone can make a mistake. He even set up a temporary lighting situation for us (i.e. he went out and bought and attached some small bulbs) because he didn't want to leave us without any lighting until the next appointment. As for the new lamps, he said we should order them ourselves this time, because he wanted to be sure we got what we wanted. Before he left, and not wanting to have a repeat of any problems, I made extra sure to confirm with him that the lamps we were ordering online were the right ones and that they would work the way he wanted them to--I had him look at the computer screen a couple times and confirm that, for sure, these would work (they needed to have an opening so that they could be linked, he said); he confirmed that they would. All seemed fine. (Downside to that first visit: before he left, and without telling us, he threw away a heavy piece of equipment from the previous lighting fixtures into a small wastebasket that my mother keeps in the garage next to the clothes drier to collect laundry lint. Luckily, I found this before she did and got rid of it, but would hate to think of her having to lift that on her own without even having expected to find it in there. If you're going to dump heavy electrical equipment into someone's small household wastebasket, maybe let them know this first.)

I wasn't there for the next appointment so couldn't step in this time, and lo and behold, the electrician says we got the wrong lamps (although he confirmed that they were correct before we ordered them!), and that he'll have to install extra equipment to make them work. When I look at the completed work, it looks awful. There are large metal boxes installed in a disorderly way next to the lamps (and bits of the garage ceiling are messily hanging off). The whole point of getting the newer lights was to make the garage interior look a bit better. Instead, things now just look unprofessional and slapped together. This should have been a straightforward job, and instead it just turned into a series of needless frustrations.

Larchmont Electricians Electrician
I just needed a few small things fixed around my apartment. I had 3 lights that I needed an electrician to look at. 1 in my closet with a door switch that turns the light on and off, 1 was just to change out the current fixture for a new one and last, I wanted to turn my washer dryer closet light to a manual switch instead of the door switch that was currently installed. I was having a difficult time getting an electrician to call me back. When I finally got a hold of somebody and made an appointment, the guy canceled on me the same day messing up my schedule. After reading some reviews for electricians in my area on Yelp, I stumbled upon Larchmont Electricians. I figured I would give them a shot.

I'm not tech savvy so when I called them, the technician was very pleasant and easy to talk to. They made it easy to schedule an appointment especially around my busy work schedule. The technician had even called a few days prior to confirm our appointment.

After fixing all of my issues (way sooner than I expected might I add), the technician noticed a fire hazard in my bedroom closet door switch. I was unable to get that fixed right then and there yet he still took the time to educate me on other options. He was then so kind as to install a different type of circuit breaker for my closet lights as a temporary fix so if it short circuits and sparks it would cut off the power.

I'm no technician, but I know great service when I get it. I highly recommend them.

All is well that ends well. I got back from my trip and Alejandro and the crew showed up and finished the job in time for the inspection. Maybe he was really busy during the parts where I had a hard time getting a hold of him.

Sonner Electric Electrician
I called Sonner Electric to schedule an appointment at my house for some flickering lights. He responded by scheduling for the next morning. Joe Sonner, the owner, came on time, was very professional and easy going. I had some loose wires in my circuit breaker box. He fixed them quickly. Then I asked him about another problem I had with my kitchen fluorescent lights, and he was able to fix them, too. He even had to go to the store to purchase new light bulbs because mine were burned out. I really appreciated his effort and patience. His price was very fair as well. I am very happy with his service, and will certainly call him again the next time. He has lived in this area for a long time, so he will be around. Great experience!

Anytime Electrical Electrician
I appreciated Aldo and his apprentices support to troubleshoot our electrical issue. Aldo was generous with his time, walking me through multiple steps over the phone to try and resolve my issue to try and help me from having to book a full appointment and fee. Ultimately we did need him to come and check our electric panel, and he helped upgrade an outlet in our laundry room. Overall I'm glad we picked Aldo and his team.

Hart's Electric Electrician
We're a new commercial customer. They did a great job on a very sensitive project where we needed to do nightime service on a 480 volt main service panel. . They sent the first team, worked carefully but efficiently and finished the project under budget.

Good followup.

They also did some minor electrical work at the project on another occasion. Far less than other proposal.

Highly recommended.

A-EV Installs Electrician
A-EV Installs did a great job. I was looking at a few other companies and chose A-EV as Mark knew what he was doing. Another company told me they could install 2 wall connectors but when I asked my electrician about this he said no way as it would overload my system. I called Mark and he agreed and explained what my options were as I wanted to charge 2 cars at the same time. Mark's communication was great and he kept me informed every step of the way. The job ended up changing from what was originally planned and Adam explained what needed to be done and why according to code. Their pricing is competitive and fair and Mark even told me about a rebate I qualified for but didn't know about, so thank you Mark!  It turned out great and I definitely recommend and would use them again.
