Best installers ever! Relocated my 50 plasma from one apt to another. I couldn't have asked for an easier process. My new home theatre system is better than ever!!

I had a wonderful experience with this company. Angel came out with his assistant Sergio the same day I called him. Angel had my problem solved within minutes. He was on time, professional, personable (Sergio, as well) and very reasonable. Give Angel a call...you will be happy you did... seriously!!

Amir is the best.  A friend recommended his work when I mentioned that I wanted a  speaker system installed throughout my condo.  Amir came and showed me my options.  A few days later, he and his team installed the system and wiring throughout my place, with minimal mess to the walls/ceilings.  I'm now the proud owner of a beautiful, top-of-the-line sound system, accessible in any room, with not a single wire visible anywhere!

One thing I really appreciate is that Amir listened carefully to my specific needs, and tailored my sound system to what I wanted.  For example, I use Spotify for most of my music, and Amir set it up so that I can play an online playlist from the desktop computer in my office, but I can easily in plug my cellphone into a jack in my bedroom if I decide I want to listen to a different track when I'm in bed.  Amir also set up the system to interface with my TV in the den.

When something went wrong with my tuner only a couple months after the system was installed, all I had to do was call Amir.  He personally came and picked up my tuner, took it to the manufacturer for repair (it was covered by warranty), then delivered it back to me and reconnected it, all free of charge.

This is the real deal, folks.  Powerhouse Electric may not be the cheapest guy in town, but you get what you pay for when it comes to electrical installation and repairs.  Why pay for a quality appliance and then skimp on a slipshod (or potentially unsafe) installation?  Trust me.  Don't waste your time with anyone else.

I didn't end up using The Electrician but in providing an estimate virtually he was very thorough and asked good questions. He was also responsive with my questions and provided some good tips as well.

Next time I have a project for an electrician I know where to start no need for all the flurry of quotes that come when you start a project on Yelp.

Paul was super helpful with my EV charger installation. He found a way to work within my budget and went above and beyond by fixing multiple issues with breaker without going above his original quote. He was always available by phone and scheduled me promptly for service. He took the time to answer all my questions in detail so I could learn about the installation process. I'm came away away smarter and completely happy with the service he provided. Thank you Paul!!

We needed to have some security cameras installed along with some low Voltage pathway lights that also needed to be installed.

Rich came out right as planned and did a fantastic job.  He is the best and I wouldn't hesitate calling him or recommending him to friends and family.

This review is way overdue. Work was completed on Dec. 27, 2019. I needed outlet for portable spa that had to be GCFI certified outlet. My biggest issue was that the spa was on the other side of my chimney from the electrical box. I got a few quotes from other Yelp electricians. Jimz Electric was not the cheapest but when Victor arrived, he pointed out to me that he didn't have to go behind or in front of the chimney for this outlet. He could do that cause the cord for the Intex spa was long enough to reach to the other side of the chimney (see photo). I also liked that he was going to use an existing box (pool light switch) coming out of my electrical box to feed the wiring for the outlet (see photo). The reason why I appreciated that was that the other electricians were going to put another hole in the house to install another box to run the wiring!?!?!? As we talked about the outlet, he said he would run the tubing up the wall and if I wanted, he can install a motion light at the corner. Another Awesome idea that I was not thinking about. Since it he was doing the wiring I though he might as well install the light. The job took about 6 hours but I didn't mind because he was doing the job cleanly and correctly. As he was bending the tubing, he also did a small kick at the outlet. This does not sound like a big deal but my uncle who is an electrician complimented on the kick and the clean work that was done (see photo). Remember Jimz was not cheapest and not the most expensive but his work was clean and done right. If you are going to do some electrical work at your home, you owe it to yourself to get a quote from Jimz Electric.  I would call him back if I have other electrical issues.

Eric has helped us with whole house rewiring. The first time I met him I realized right away he has so many years of experience and he knows what he is doing. He was brimming with energy and enthusiasm working around the clock to deliver the project on time. His workmanship was one of the most clean and perfect house rewiring I have ever seen. We passed the city inspection on the first attempt. I highly recommend his work.

I didn't end up using them for the job I currently need. However I'm giving them 5 stars for responding so quickly to my inquiry about whether or not they could do the job. As a consumer I appreciate a company who responds in a timely manner. I have dealt with so many contractors who don't respond to inquiries! I will definitely keep you guys on my list if there is something I need done in the future.

Used Larchmont years ago both commercially and for my own home. Best in the business hands down. Honest, fair and adept at what they do.

Alejandro provided us with really good service. He texted me over the holiday to schedule the appointment.  He provided a time window for his arrival and though he missed it due to heavy traffic he did provide me an update to let me know. I was pleased with the work he did replacing a dryer outlet and the dryer power cord. He provided a detailed review of the work and what he did.  I felt good that he identified a ground wire that was not sufficient for the outlet and addressed it. I definitely would use Alejandro again. I am pleased with the job and his pricing was fair.

I called this Star Electric more than 20 hours ago, and made note of the name of the person answering my call.  Having used their services in the past, I had high expectations.  After six hours I called again, but was unable to reach anyone to schedule service.  Now, the next day, still no response.  I have elected to call another electrical contractor, who immediately scheduled and confirmed the appointment.

Nick came by yesterday to help me with an issue with my ceiling fan and fixed it within a few minutes. We got to talking a bit too and learned a lot about him and his company. I am in construction and after our conversation I have to say I was really impressed. Nick definitely knows his stuff. Will be calling on him again if I need any electrical work done on my house . I needed help to troubleshoot an outlet that was not working. Aldo picked up my call and we scheduled a time I would be at home. A thorough inspection was done and Im glad it wasn't a huge fix. Since he was there I decided to change some other outlets that were aged and could cause future issues. The price was good and it was quick so I could go on with my day.

Very helpful and knowledgeable.  They worked us in even though they were busy.  We have other projects and we have found our electricians.  Very courteous and kind.

Contacted Marvin about a quote on installing a Tesla wall charger with a 60amp breaker.
Gave me the quote and had Raul and Denny start at 8am.
The guys were on time and cleaned up great!
The breaker they had didn't work so Marvin stopped by to install the 60amp breaker and made sure everything worked properly.

We had A-EV install our electrical plug for our new car.  It was a tricky install and they did an outstanding job. They were extremely professional and very fair. We then had a separate electrical problem in our backyard and they were able to fix it for us.  I would highly recommend them.
