Big Ben Mounts (BBM) did an amazing installation today for my backyard poolhouse.  The work required mounting of a 65 inch flat panel TV, removal of four old external ceiling mounted speakers and wires (installed by the previous owner of the house), and replacement with 5 NX-Pro in-wall and in-ceiling speakers I purchased directly from BBM.  Their work was top-notch and customer friendly.

Shlomi was an absolute pleasure to work with.  He was incredibly knowledgable/helpful (and just a good guy all-around) and did a free in-home estimate spending an hour with me a couple weeks prior to the job.  He gave me a lot of good advice as to what types of speakers (external vs in-celing/wall type), receivers, and components to use for my home theater system within my budget.  After our meeting, I emailed a few more questions to him and he was always quick to respond.  He gave me an estimate the next day after our initial meeting (very reasonable price) and then we set up installation a couple weeks later...which he completed today.

He estimated the job would take 7-8 hours, but completed it in half the time!  I came home to find my poolhouse theater set-up better than I could have expected.  The job was done clean and with precision.  There was patchwork done on the walls and ceilings for speaker and wire installation, but Shlomi had warned me about this ahead of time and so was not a surprise to me.  Nothing a little touch-up from our painter won't fix.  He also set up my Apple TV and Blu-ray player.  I also discovered that the previous owner had installed two external zone 2 speakers outside of the poolhouse.  At the last minute, I had asked Shlomi to test these speakers and connect if working.  Of course he did without any hesitation (and at no extra charge) and now we have music to add a more festive environment for the backyard.

Because I was away at work and Shlomi's crew finished ahead of schedule, I couldn't get back home in time before he finished.  So Shlomi left after completing the job and then came back an hour later after I got home to spend time reviewing with me what he had done and to give careful instruction on how to work the remote, receiver, etc.  My family was blown away during the demonstration at the amazing sound and picture quality.  We will be spending alot more time in this room!

BBM exceeded my expectations in every way.  There are few businesses I've worked with where the workmanship and customer service are so high quality.  I would recommend without hesitation to anyone else who might be interested in setting up a home theater system.

Of note, I did get a price quote from another company (which I won't name).  The gentleman I met was also very knowledgable and pleasant.  But the prices he quoted me were absolutely outrageous.  In addition to the installation charge for speakers and TV mounting, he wanted to charge me an extra $200 for things like hooking up my DVD player/Apple TV (a job I can do in 2 minutes), $200 for calibration of my speakers (a job that is automatically done by my receiver), and a few other charges I've blocked from my mind I was so irritated by what he was trying to pull.  I suppose this arrangement is to seriously dupe people who know absolutely nothing about basic home theater set-up, but even still...this is plain wrong!  BBM did these things for me without even me asking to have it done because it's basic stuff that should be part of the job (at no extra charge).

But enough about that other guy.  BBM is great.  Loved working with them and would hire again for another job in a heartbeat!

I had a wonderful experience with this company. Angel came out with his assistant Sergio the same day I called him. Angel had my problem solved within minutes. He was on time, professional, personable (Sergio, as well) and very reasonable. Give Angel a call...you will be happy you did... seriously!!

Extremely Professional, Knowledgable and Informative Professionals! They asked great questions to make sure they met all our needs and educated us to make sure we made educated choices in our plans and lighting set up. Our lights have been working great ever since. We will use Powerhouse Electric again and I highly recommend them!

I didn't end up using The Electrician but in providing an estimate virtually he was very thorough and asked good questions. He was also responsive with my questions and provided some good tips as well.

Next time I have a project for an electrician I know where to start no need for all the flurry of quotes that come when you start a project on Yelp.

Didn't end up going with Meza Electric but had a great experience with Martin getting a quote. He provided me with extra information regarding getting the correct EV charger in order for us to be eligible for a rebate. He also explained everything and what the plan was for running the wires and different locations for the EV charger to be placed. Communication was great and he was on time for and on-site estimate.

I have been using R & k for the last 5 years..so they get 5 stars next year six ') Rich knows how to run things & they really do the best work, look you get what you pay for in life construction is no different I've tried other cheaper contractors yes you will always find a lower bid but you will pay in time-stress then you will have to call Rich to come in & fix it so save up & do it right the first time. I'm in a similar field of work so I can tell you from a professional perspective you will be happier in the long run doing it right the first time.

Wonderful electricians! Very thorough, precise, and conscientious. Efrain performed his job with clarity and precision. He installed four pendant lights in the kitchen and accurately measured the length for each of them so they would evenly hang. The lights came out beautifully! He was very engaging and suggested a few ideas on the pendant lighting.

Eric has helped us with whole house rewiring. The first time I met him I realized right away he has so many years of experience and he knows what he is doing. He was brimming with energy and enthusiasm working around the clock to deliver the project on time. His workmanship was one of the most clean and perfect house rewiring I have ever seen. We passed the city inspection on the first attempt. I highly recommend his work.

This work was done Feb. 28, 2014. I had more than five electric outlets that had stopped working.  Based on the Yelp reviews, I contacted Pete at Santucci Electric. The case turned out to be much more in-depth than originally anticipated, but he conducted the research necessary to appropriately resolve the problem. Excellent communication prior to and during the appointment.

Without hesitation, I can say that he is a reliable, honest, and extremely capable electrician, who reported to the job on time. He is also a very nice and intelligent person. I had no concern allowing him into my home. Unless he changes professions, he will always be the electrician we contact for help.

These guys were very fast, honest, and affordable. Offered some good advice on what to do with our outdoor lighting situation to prevent us from needing to call them again with future problems

Alejandro was very prompt and quick. Got a free consultation with him and he arrived on time (even earlier) to see what I wanted done. Couple days later he came back (on time again) and got the job done within a couple hours. Would definitely recommend!

We had scheduled an appointment for today between 11a-2p. By 2:15 no call,no show. My husband called and left a message asking when the they were coming out. Got a call back saying they were behind by 2-3 hours. Why didn't anyone call us in the first place? Why put your customer in the position of having to wait for nothing rather than pick up the phone and let them know that there is a problem. They maybe good but they are not coming to our house.

My husband and I have used Sonner Electric three times now. Twice with our rental and once with our home. It doesn't matter who comes out whether its Joe or Scott they are very personable, professional, timely and priced right. What was most refreshing is to deal with honest contractors that won't charge you for unnecessary things. We have had them fix a light switch to rewiring under a cabinet for an appliance, and bringing our rental up to code. Our next venture will be to add lighting to our tennis court-can't wait! I highly recommend them.

I needed to upgrade two really old thermostats to new Ecobee 4 models. I called Star Electric Energy and Roland was fantastic! He was able to work with my schedule, had the best pricing, answered all my questions, and was extremely professional. He cleaned up when done and made sure to stay until all my questions were answered. It's rare to find a certified electrician that is just so easy to work with! Did an excellent job.   We were very happy with the service.  Very professional and very proficient.   Nick was very polite and courteous.    We would definitely recommend this young man.  And if we have any electrical problems in the future we will definitely call this young man.

I was looking for a good Electrican to add 12 LED recess lights to my house, outlets and switches. They did a great job! I would highly recommend them to anyone that needs an electrican!

This is actually the second time A-EV has helped install a 240v outlet for me so I wanted to leave this review for them to show my appreciation. The first time was at our condo where we needed the plug on the other side of the garage where my EV was and they were able to accommodate that and made it look very nice like it always belonged there.
This time we had them install one at our new home and it was so quick and easy.  I actually initiated through Yelp on a Saturday night and Mark replied within hours with some questions about what I needed and was able to schedule an appointment first thing on Monday. In less than an hour Albert, the electrician was finished and even cleaned the area with a broom and dust pan.
I would highly recommend A-EV and would definitely give them a call again if I ever need another outlet installed for an EV charger.
