Garrett at Trout Electric easily and successfully installed a 240v outlet in my garage for my Tesla. They did it in less than an hour and took care of the city permit. The whole process was seamless- you can definitely tell they know what they are doing! Garrett is extremely friendly and easy to work with. Katie at their main office was also very accommodating and helped us schedule both the estimate and installation appointments. I've already recommended Garrett to many friends, I'm confident in his work and professionalism.

Gal was tremendously patient with the (quite possibly) *hundreds* of questions I had during the course of the rewire and panel installation for my new home. If you're looking for a handyman, Chingis is your guy. His knowledge of home repair seem to be endless. He has a great eye for detail but that doesn't slow him down. We will call him again for all projects big and small.

Rick and Eric came to mount our TV and run the wires behind the wall.  They came right on time, brought all their own supplies and were done in under an hour.  They were extremely professional and efficient.  I would definitely hire them again for any home theater work I need around the house!

I never thought I'd say this, but I just had an GREAT experience with an electrician!    This is saying something when you consider how hard it is to find reliable contractors for ANY trades in Tahoe.  

I called Jason to fix a wiring problem with a GFCI circuit in my kitchen. Not only did he quickly diagnose and correct the problem with a bad ground wire, he also fixed a problem with my low voltage  lighting just by going through the breaker box and tightening connections. This kind of attention to detail and quality of work is not something you see a much of anymore.

I appreciated the fact that Jason was prompt, personable ,  and communicative .  He also  called  ahead to let me know that he was going to be slightly delayed.   That may not sound like much, but it reflects a lot of professionalism that is missing these days.  It also shows that he has respect for the customers time.

I was so happy with the results of this experience that I asked Jason to quote a heat tape installation on my roof. I will use him again for jobs large and small and we'll give him my highest recommendation!

I recently completed a bathroom remodel at my home in Manhattan Beach.
Four B&M Electric technicians were involved in the project and all of them were professional, polite and well versed in their trade.

Yelp is such a great resource for finding reliable contractors.....Today we hired Nick to install plugs for our outdoor string lights in several areas around our house.  It looks so neat and professional now.  Before, we had wires hanging down, etc., and the entire thing just looked messy.....I finally told hubby, that's not how we roll .....we are going to have these lights hung  professionally!  In addition, we had a beautiful handmade brass lighting fixture installed in the entryway (see photos) which brought the entry/living room up several notches!  It's my favorite part of this project.  Nick called us Monday of this week to say he would try to come by one day after work to see what the project would entail....we were able to meet this afternoon, and after discussing what we wanted, he said he was available to do the job now.....of course, we said yes!.  The job went smoothly, all areas were done to our spec's, and the interior light fixture was the icing on the cake.  We now have an electrician we will call whenever we have electrical issues, and will absolutely recommend Nick to our friends and neighbors.   Thank you for being so courteous and professional.....we sincerely appreciate it!

This YELP review is long overdue. I've known Will for 6+ years. I first met him when I was living in Anaheim and I had a horrible , flaky electrician that I fired and was looking for a new one and I found Will. He came and finished everything in a timely manner and a great price. Since then I have referred him about 5+ friends houses for re-wires, troubleshooting and upgrades in the panel. Everyone has been happy with him.

I had a little emergency in one of my rental properties yesterday, I called Will and he came over within 1 hour. Best part Will figured out the problem within minutes. Had nothing to do with my house, it was a bad meter and the city replaced it next day for free!! Will wouldn't even take my money for the service call until I had to threaten to punch him in his gut LOL...

Great guy !!

Here is the deal with Will, he's an old school New Yorker type of guy. Some people might get offended or think he is harsh but the guy is straight up cool. Super funny guy just have your guard down when your talking to him and you'll see what I mean. I would highly recommend him to anyone looking for an honest electrician and doesn't want to get taken advantage off.

Ceiling Fan Installation

Nothing could be worse than waiting 4 weeks for an appointment since I had a coupon from Angie's List.  You are put on the bottom of the list when a coupon is presented.  Buyer Beware.  When they finally showed up 4 weeks later, they came with the wrong size ladder after I told them it was on a 14' ceiling.  The technician stated the office would call me back to reschedule.  I waited a week and no call back.  I decided to hire another company who immediately came out and did the work.  

I have asked ADI to refund the cost of the coupon and they don't even have the decency to resolve the refund of the $65.

I would not recommend this company under any circumstances and beware if you are purchasing a coupon from Angies List.

Since no stars was not an option, I had to choose one start which they didn't deserve.

My first service with Oscar was to fix various electrical issues around my house. I can't express more, that I am very happy with his service. His work is impecable, clean, professional and kind. Price was reasonable. I highly recommend his services. I definitely will need him again for my outside lighting.

One of my circuits blew out leaving a portion of the house with no power. They responded really quickly to my request and came first thing the next morning.

Nelson took a look at the situation and explained that replacing the GFCI may solve the problem. I thought he was being nice and saving me from an expensive repair, but when I got the bill the estimate was roughly $500 for the GFCI outlet, electrical troubleshooting, and labor. It seemed very expensive to me considering one year's premium for home insurance is roughly $459. I decided to give permission for them to complete the job because I was worried there were more complicated issues than just the GFCI outlet that needed to be replaced.

I don't know what the going rate for electricians are so I would have given a lower rating, but the tech was nice enough to help me move another GFCI outlet from another area of the room so that both outlets on the wall near the sink were GFCI oulets.

A week later, I had another issue with loose wiring. I asked Nelson if they could send a tech over because I wasn't sure if I should call an appliance repair store or an electrician. The owner was nice enough to answer my question without coming to my house and charging a service fee.

Overall, they are good people who do good work. I was just taken aback by the price. With the yelp deal and the service fee deducted after service was completed, the total cost was roughly $360.

We needed to relocate our oven outlet.  I called AM&G Electric and they were able to come to our house the next day.  They provided a 1 hour window to visit which was great and were on time.  Jason and his colleague were able to assess what would be needed, provided us with a reasonable quote for the work and completed the relocation of the electrical wiring outlet in the same visit.  Jason and his colleague were courteous and professional and we appreciate their hard work.

Called on a Saturday and talked to Mike.  Very pleasant on the phone and was able to get him to come out to check out my fuse box.  Fixed the issue in a matter of minutes and was able to advise me on future solutions if the problems occurs again.  Will definitely remember his service and call back if I need to

I needed a major panel upgrade and sub-panel to bring power to the backyard (to power a new gate) pretty quickly. It was the CA raining season and they came when the weather allowed and completed the install in 2 days. Fully inspected and passed without issue. Mike and Robert have been doing this for a while and they are both great. Friendly, responsive, efficient all that you need with electricians.

They recommended all the right things and got me squared away in no time at all. I got a few quotes and they were not the cheapest - but do you really want to cheap out on electrical work?

They are local and we want to support local businesses. That means they care about the neighborhoods they work in.

If you need a licensed, responsive and local professional electrician - then they are your team. Can't recommend them enough.

This is the second time we've used Accurate Electrical.  I don't think they are the least expensive electricians out there, but they are honest, reliable and dependable.  They show up when scheduled, have extreme respect for your home and do a very professional job.  They wear booties to protect your flooring and the clean up after the job was great.  I had no mess what so ever when they left. They guarantee your satisfaction and will come out if needed.  On our first job I did need them to come out after several weeks and they came promptly.  It turned out to not be their issue but something I had done.  A quick fix and everything was back to normal.  Our first job was outside, laying new electrical for additional outlets.  The most recent job was new recessed lighting in our kitchen. After both jobs I received a call within a few days making sure I was completely satisfied.  This was followed up by a handwritten thank you note. I will definitely use them again.

Amazing service. Called one morning to have a 240v outlet put in to charge my new electric vehicle and they responded right away arriving at noon the same day. Asked them to check a few other supposedly small items, which revealed a major internal hazard/potential fire danger and they ended up spending the rest of the day strategizing and fixing the issues not leaving until 9pm that night. The final cost was very reasonable. Overall, highly recommended.
