Jack and his father are honest, reliable and reasonably priced.
We had issues with a breakers constantly getting tripped. This was happening after a home renovation where I had a different Electrian perform the work 6 month's before.  Jack and his dad cleaned up my breaker box, switching some breakers out and meticulously tested each breaker to rework the load on each. They were very transparent with what they were fixing and took the time to do a quality job (we didn't feel like they were rushing).

They will be my new go-to guys. Thanks!

Jack and father are legit! Prices are very reasonable and the quality of work is excellent. Initially I reached out to have a receptacle replaced near our new tankless water heater. Upon completion of the initial job, I requested a quote for two new power receptacles to my basement, as well as some network wiring throughout the house. The price was too good to pass up! I'm incredibly glad I discovered these guys and would not hesitate recommending them to anyone else. He's definitely going to be my go-to electrician should I need one again!

Spoke to Jack who was originally sympathetic to my situation and scheduled me for a Saturday install on the same day as my home theater installers.  Jack called me last minute the day before to let me know a job he was already working on had run long and he would not be making it.  When I asked to reschedule the following Saturday he had a family engagement to me this was very unprofessional and with barely any notice.  I had to reschedule my home theater installers and I'm still looking for an electrician.  Wouldn't recommend this guy at all.  He also said he's a small company and nobody else can be sent out to me.  So unless you're the highest paying job at the time it becomes your problem if the other job runs long.  No thanks

As a response to the latest reply I gave you as much consideration for your personal event (which you did not disclose until now conveniently) as you gave to my scheduled installation that I made the same day as our appointment, work schedule or having an 8 month pregnant wife at home (all of which I told you at the onset). More courtesy could've been given to not cancel on me at the very last second and it's funny how now you say you tried to be accommodating which did not come across at all.  (Attached the text conversation so people can see who is telling the full truth here).  I make it a point not to mix personal and business situations together as that is the definition of unprofessional.  This is clearly an attempt to spin the situation in your favor and make me to come off as the bad guy when I was the one inconvenienced.  Happy to prove it wrong.......

I re-hired Jack for a different project. And just like the first time around, he was very responsive and informative. He immediately showed up to the location and gave me different options. I really appreciated his professionalism and knowledge of his job. I Highly recommend him.

Jack and his father came out and installed new sconces on our living room wall. He did it without any patching necessary. The room looks incredible now! And they were quick and detail-oriented. They explained every step and cleaned up afterwards. I will recommend them for all future jobs.

Wow wow wow! I am so impressed with Jack's work and communicativeness. I called him in the middle of a crazy rainstorm after a breaker in my kitchen had tripped, leaving my fridge out of power. Literally off a photo I sent him, Jack immediately diagnosed exactly what was wrong, explained the situation in super clear terms, and came out to fix it in the middle of the rain. Throughout this, he was very communicative over text, explaining his ETA, and incredibly polite. I am so very happy I found him and give him the highest recommendation as a master electrician and kind person.

Could not be more pleased. Needed an EV charger installed and I was quite frankly skeptical since their quote was so reasonable but they were responsive, professional, super nice about all, and we passed inspection right away. Six stars if I could.

Jack was so professional and super punctual. He did an amazing job with the installation and very knowledgeable. I will definitely recommend him to any of my colleagues and friends. As it's hard to find people who are fair in prices and quality work.

Called Jack on Saturday to install an outlet so that I can use it to charge my Tesla.. he explained to me in detail what he was going to do.. no bs.. he gave me a legitimate price over the phone that did not change...if there was something extra he had to do, he disclosed the price immediately.. there were no surprises.. he wanted to come the next day as I lived in the area.. but I wasn't available.. so we settled for Tuesday.. my choosing.. he came that Tuesday 5 min early.. and finished the job in 45 min .. talk about efficiency.. he tested everything before he left and gave me my invoice..

Reached out to Jack on a Friday evening when a circuit blew and looked like it needed to be completely replaced.  He got back to me very fast, provided a fair quote and scheduled the repair for the next day.  

Jack and his dad were on time and very quickly fixed the problem. They are very knowledgeable and professional.  Really appreciated their friendly service and no hassle clear communication.

My favorite father and son working duo! I've used this company twice so far. Once for smoke detectors and another time to change all my light switches to dimming lights. Very good with communication and always punctual. Fair prices and friendly service. Will use them again if I ever need to!

Needed an outlet on a patio replaced.  I was given a flat estimate prior to them coming the next day which was a good price compared to other estimates.  They arrived on time, fixed the outlet quickly and were professional & friendly.

Terrible experience.  Called on a Sunday, made it clear I had an urgent electrical job where two different electricians were giving me completely opposite advice.  They told me they were in the neighborhood, family owned and it would be no problem to come out for a consult the next day.  Then the day came and I had to reach out to them only to be told they would not be coming out and could I describe the problem and they'd give me an estimate?  Well, I already described it to them yesterday.  Then they told me they didn't want to be the third free electrician on the scene.  Which is their right.  But why am I hearing about this *after* you've set the appointment and don't feel like making it?  Then the guy tried to walk it back and tell me they could come, but not today (didn't offer a new date and time, though).  Not interested.  I'll take an electrician that keeps their commitments and doesn't give attitude about the appointments they've set.

If things come up and you need to move, no problem.  But it's not the customer's fault you decided to give a free consult and then changed your mind!  All you've done is waste both our times when I could've been looking for someone who actually wants the job!

EDIT: Hahahahahaha.  Jack has replied below making up an obvious lie about me telling him I tested positive for Covid to justify his terrible service.  This is awesome because it's a very poorly thought out plan on his part.  You know why?  Because I'm fully vaccinated!  Including my vaccination card below with dates that obviously predate this horrible experience.

What an absolute joke of a company.  I should sue the pants off them for this.

Hakob and his Dad came the same day to sort out issues with my home's circuit breaker and electrical outlets.  Got a detailed explanation of the problem and how it was addressed.  Price was also reasonable.

I can't say enough great things about them. I was having an electrical disaster with light switches, power, and crazy wiring. They came over immediately were able to assess the situation and used clear language to explain it to me.

This situation had been looked over by two others who couldn't figure it out but they had no problem. They got the parts and got it fixed in a matter of hours.

Not only that but they kept the place as clean and tidy as it was when they entered.

If you have electric needs I can't recommend them enough.

BEWARE SCAM! Normally I do not take the time to write reviews. But there was some very wrong stuff about our job and people should know. They were hired to install an electric line in our yard and electric heater in a sauna (that was already built). Unfortunately, I was not there to supervise them. First, they mounted the heater halfway up the sauna wall, instead of close to the floor. Even if you had never seen a sauna before, in your life, most people know heat rises. More importantly, I had to re-do the work. Additionally, they left wires in a rats nest and I had to go back and shorten the main power line(s) so the heater would sit properly on the mounting position. In order to do this, I had to rewire the heater, not that difficult actually. All in all $1300 was a lot to spend to redo as much as I had to. That is not why they got 1 star, that is for the SCAM that was pulled later. After the work was complete, the sauna wasn't turning on properly. Come to find out later it was user (my) error and a simple issue of not turning one of the knobs correctly. I was out of town and wanted the sauna to work correctly when I got back because I was bringing my inlaws who really wanted to try it out. My sister met the electricians at the house and he got the sauna working in less than an hour. God knows what they were doing because the kicker is the sauna already worked. They called me and told me that the coils in the heater had gone bad and that they had replaced them. I asked them to send me some pictures of the bad coils but they conveniently forgot. When I asked again they said they had already thrown them out. It was a brand new heater and after checking around it seems them going bad out the box is not likely. Additionally, I pulled the rocks out and found no indication that they were not the original coils. What did theses SCAMMERS charge me for this farce? $350 to scam me instead of just telling me I had turned it on incorrectly.  They took advantage of the fact that they were dealing with my sister in person. DM me if you want to hire these guys and I'll talk you out of it. The only acceptable way to make this right is to refund the $350 .... me paying for the incompetent job in the first place is technically my fault, the second visit was plain fraud.

Update: The rocks were never changed by anyone on our end and it's sounding like that was the scam from the beginning. When they were originally installed you asked my wife to place them in heater in the first place, which is odd unless you were running something. I have included a picture below from the manual detailing the placement/installation of the rocks, not sounding like overfilling is a concern. I also checked with the manufacturer... same thing. The sauna was working when I called you the second time, I just didn't know how to turn it on correctly (SMH). Regrettably, it was a busy time at work for me. If you actually found faulty fuse, you should have informed me so that I could return it to the manufacturer. Instead, you opted to void the warranty by forging ahead? It was literally a brand new $800 heater. The idea that we put too many rocks and overheated the heater especially since we never added rocks is laughable. Not to mention how outrageous it is that replacing a fuse in under an hour is half the cost of a whole brand new unit? It has taken us 10 months to get to this because that's how far down the priority list it was. People please don't let this dude try to talk circles and take advantage. God bless!

Tried to begin working without giving us an estimate or price. Had to stop them from starting and asked 3 times before being told the price. Would not recommend using them.

Ive had Jack and his dad fix stuff in my house three times over the past year as it also is my first year living in the house. Old houses naturally require upgrades and here's where Jack and dad come into the picture. They have consistently done the jobs right (electrical and lighting). They have been very professional, kind, honest, and gone the extra mile to get the job completed. Highly recommended and thank you!!!

Jack is great. I went through Yelp's system to find an electrician for our Japanese Center. The message was sent out to multiple places and he was the fastest one to reply with a quote. We have school on Saturdays so I asked if he could get it done on Friday. Yes, he met me at the center, on time, and did the work. He even cleaned the floor. Very prompt and great work. I have his number on my phone for any future work for the center and personally.

I had an odd request- installation of a digital photo frame (the Meural Canvas- it's super cool, google it!). The only crappy thing about this device is it's ugly wire and big transformer box... totally takes away from the intended effect and would have added some unwanted clutter to our main hallway. I sent a Yelp request out, and Jack and John (father and son, btw) quoted me a very reasonable estimate of their minimum service call plus parts.

When they got here, they assessed the situation and told me that what I'd requested would potentially involve risking the integrity of the beautiful wainscoting below (see pics). They looked around and came up with a better solution, cutting through the hallway wall and attaching the cord in the garage. This also involved only minimal parts cost.

They did a very neat job very quickly on the morning after my evening request, and insisted on cleaning up every last bit of dust caused by their tools. You can judge the end result for yourself in these pics. Would totally recommend Jack and John!

I contacted Jack through Yelp a few days ago regarding our company's outside light timer no longer working. I sent him a picture of the exact timer that needed to be replaced and he placed the order for it the same day and came to install it the next morning.

Everything went without a hitch and him and his father got the job done VERY quickly. Will definitely be using Emergency Electric One again for any other electrical needs.

I was desperate and blessed that they came, problem solved, future recommendations, no pressure. Obviously know there stuff.

Never showed for first appointment and when I called he failed to show up the second time so the person is a flake.

Amazing experience! Needed a last minute electrician for a property in escrow after my go-to electrician had to cancel. Jack and John showed up within 2 hours. Jack and his father are a gem. They were punctual, helped us understand what needed to be done in the job, and made their recommendations. We've had them come back twice and will definitely use them again for future work. Now we just need to find a good handyman and we would be set.

Needed 240v 50 amp for my Tesla and after research I am glade I called Emergency Electric One. They are very professional and got it done in no time. Pricing is great most importantly got what I wanted in a day after my first phone call. I would defiantly recommend for all of your electrical needs.

These guys are real con men. Haven't even sent us a receipt even though we've asked and they said they would a number of time.

They gave me an estimate but in the end we ended up paying double. I understand an estimate is an estimate and some things might change but I was clear about the two new conduits we needed to run and instead of running two of them all the way, they wanted to use a very old used conduit that is buried in our yard (and that we also might need for something else in the future). When they couldn't use that one, which they hadn't seen of course until they dug up so couldn't have been in their estimate, they added a couple of hundred dollars.

On top of that they also ran the conduits in the middle of a wall instead of close to the ground so it looks a bit shit. Luckily we could alter that part ourselves.

In the end they still partly used another old conduit the last part of the job.

Really really incredibly bad in every way. They also talked so much you couldn't get a word in so in the end we just gave up.

These are the guys giving contractors a bad name.

Don't use them. It will not only ruin whatever you're planning to do but also your mood.

Incredibly efficient team - installed my coax cable for internet in my apartment well under their initial time estimate, and arrived promptly at the top of the arrival window.

Everyone is super friendly and took COVID precautions seriously - masks and booties were worn in the house at all times.

Called for installation of Level 2 charger for Tesla.  They were great - showed up on time, did great work, cleaned up, and basically just had a great attitude.   Charged exactly what they said it would cost and took Venmo - so just a great experience from people who knew what they were doing and seemed to genuinely like what they were doing.

Had an outlet installed for our new Tesla - son and dad did a quick, neat and great job.

We've had massive rain in LA. My outdoor water pump overloaded the  electrical circuit it was plugged into and blew out our electricity.

I called a ton of electricians. The rain was wrecking havoc on all kinds of electrical systems. I could not get anyone to come help me. Josh was on a site far away, but when he finished at the end of his day, he came to my house to help me. He immediately identified the problem and fixed it. The total bill was $150, and I was more than happy to pay it.

They could easily have said anything to me and I would have believed it. I don't know anything about electrical systems. Clearly they are honest. They explained everything to me. Josh works with his father, who is an old school pro who taught his son well.

I am more than delighted to write this review and pleased to recommend them.

I'm not the easiest customer. I'm picky and I don't like dealing with this kind of thing because so many in the fix it business are not honest or do shoddy work.

Jack and his dad came out to my house to install a Tesla Wall Connector. Communication before the project was fantastic, with a few pictures of my panel I got an estimate that was very competitive with other quotes and didn't have to take time from work to meet with them. Jack and his father showed up on time and ready to go. Did the job in about an hour and it turned out fantastic. They were also that wonderful combo of warm and professional when they came. They cleaned up after their work and you could tell they took pride in doing a good job. I would definitely hire these 2 again!

Jack and his dad came , on time , and did a great job in a short amount of time , they cleaned up there mess and were respectful. I needed an electrical outlet moved to a different area that was above my fireplace, so that the tv could be centered . I will use him again when needed !

If this is the attitude he has for a potential client trying to get a fair quote for an nema 14/50 outlet then think twice before hiring him doing any job. I don't even want to think how responsible he will be after he gets the money....

We had a terrifying electrical fire, and after the fire fighters left, EEO came within an hour to help us out. They were terrifically responsive and thoroughly inspected everything.  Happily, we are all up and running again!  They explained everything very carefully to us and were super nice.  Reasonably priced for the emergency nature of the services.

Do yourself a favor start with Emergency Electric One! The do it all and a reasonable price especially since they do it right the first time. Now we use them anytime we need electrical work done!

Jack came out and fixed the problem with my electricity. A little expensive but I'm just glad it's fixed.  The low rating is because he has never sent me a receipt of the service provided. This makes four times now that I've reached out and failed to send me the receipt. I'd be willing to change the rating if he could just do something that simple.  He was also supposed to quote me for a project and never followed up on that either.

We needed an electrician for a last minute doorbell installation. We originally didn't even have a doorbell and needed the hard wiring and chime for the Nest Hello. They were very fast to respond with a reasonable quote and set up a time for the following day. They communicated with us every step of the way and got the job done fast. I highly recommend Emergency Electric One. I needed a Nest doorbell installation on a non-working doorbell. Their quote was very fair and they were quick to respond through Yelp messaging. Once they got here, the issue with our doorbell created a lot more work than anticipated. It was great to observe their problem solving skills and they ended up coming up with a brilliant solution that I was very happy with. In the end, I have a working Nest doorbell and they stuck to their original quote, no hidden fees! I will definitely use them again for future projects like tv mounting and home audio installation.

the electricity went out in the garage and we couldn't open or close the door. I called Electric One and they were over within an hour. They were great; knew their stuff and so friendly and personable. Price was reasonable, also. I recommend them highly! I will be using them from now on.

I bought a deal on Living Social to fix a beloved lamp that had broken, I also needed someone to look at the outlets in my apartment because some of them were making crackling sounds and I was concerned for my safety.  I couldn't trust my management company to fix them without an unrelated third party telling them the outlets were dangerous.

I felt safe and secure that I had a licensed electrician giving me expert advice.  Our hour of services was professional and friendly.  My dogs, who normally hide away when strangers come, wanted to hang out with us while the electrical work was being done.

I'm very happy I took a chance and contacted Emergency One.  Very efficient and friendly, expert electrician services.  I will be calling again next time I have need for electrical work.

We had an electrical fire from some previous electrical work that was poorly done by another company. These guys came out right away and not only fixed the problem but thoroughly checked the wiring in other places. I had them come out again for the second time and was not disappointed. They respond quickly, and are great at fitting your needs into their schedule so you don't have to wait. We are already planning on having them back for some future work. I would 10/10 recommend these guys. They are the best. Very friendly. Very easy to work with and most importantly I trust the work they do.

Emergency Electric One was quick to respond to my request and were able to come out same day. The two workers were quick and efficient which was appreciated. However, I did not receive a receipt until the next day and I had to reach out a couple of times for that. Apparently they don't accept credit cards either so make sure you have cash or checks on hand.

It's a pleasure working with Jack and his father. When I first sent out a quote request, he picked up the phone and explained to me in details what he thinks is the best approach to my situation. He follows up, and reaches out unlike most others. His price is lower than most electricians. I've been shopping around so I know how much everyone charges. I had an outside event and our tennis court lights were out and I called these guys to get them fixed in a hurry and there was a crazy wiring problem they found -fixed it fast and I had lights for our party. I had several electrical things that needed fixing. Jack and John gave me an estimate online for each part of the job. They were punctual and courteous.  They looked everything over, went and got parts, then returned and fixed everything as promised. I highly recommend them.

I'm absolutely honored to meet Jack and his father, they pulled me out a ditch I couldn't see the horizon from. I messaged multiple electric companies and 3 quotes gave me premiums I couldn't believe and wanted to change my job. But long story short, we made appointment and met on time, quoted me that I insisted he charge me more. Gods honest truth, pulled the permits for a tankless service disconnect installed it and informed will meet with inspectors come tomorrow and e-mail me copies., his total price was less then one companies charge just to pull permit and meet inspector. Down to earth Best Best Best. Thank you guys I will definitely recommend and even insist to use their services. I feel as I'm in depth cause I'm a tradesman my self and know what's out there

I'm very happy with the work these guys did.  I have an EV charger installed in my garage.  They had the best price -- and I did a lot of research -- scheduling was easy, and they showed up on time.  The installation was done in under two hours and looks great.  I'm going to be using them to upgrade my panel.

John and Jack  are the father- son team to answer all your electrical problems! Long story short, I called/ messaged the business about my microwave and gas range  power supply that has constantly been tripping on and off for about 3 weeks now. The last straw for me was when the gas range stopped working altogether. Jack answered right away and offered to come the same day. He pretty much diagnosed the problem while we were emailing each other. I can't have him come the same day so I set up an appointment for the following day in the morning. They came and resolved all issues in a very reasonable amount of time and amount. They're a pleasant team and I felt that they educated us about what to watch out for. Thank goodness my husband was around to hear all that so both of us are in the same page. My only regret now is that I didn't call them sooner, I could have saved myself a lot of misery!  Thank you so much!

After requesting estimates from a handful of different electricians, Jack was the most responsive and helpful person I spoke to. He took the time to understand the problem I was having with my lighting and went out of his way to find parts, troubleshoot, and fix a problem that I thought may have been unrepairable. While they were there, they were nice enough to help me install a second lighting fixture that I couldn't have done by myself. The price, communication, scheduling, were all great... Beyond that, they were just good people to hang and talk with, it's awesome to meet people like Jack and his father. Wishing them continued success here in LA.

I spoke with Jack on the phone for 20 minutes describing the electrical issue I was having. I thought the best solution was to rewire the part of the kitchen that was giving problems. His solution was to troubleshoot the actual issue to hopefully save money. Throughout the call, he quoted a price of a $75 service charge plus $35 per hour and said HE would be there at 10. At 9:30, another person from the company called and said the service charge was now $150 and the hourly rate was $70 because he was sending two guys, I assume not Jack. In the meantime I had to call the other electricians I spoke to who could not come until later in the day that I was going with someone else. If I have to pay a service charge to get a quote, I am pretty much bound to give them the business.

To me this comes down to one of two issues: bait and switch or the person I spoke with does not know the company policies. Either way, save your time and go with another company.

I purchased an new Electric Vehicle and wanted to add a Level 2 240 Volt charger in my garage.  They were very helpful for the entire process that was new to me.  The helped me complete the LADWP Rebate application and obtain the required building permit.  I cannot say if they were the least expensive, but based on estimated costs of installation on various websites for EV, they were in the ballpark.  Their communication, service and work were excellent.  They make the entire process simple.  I would highly recommend.

I hired them to put in a new sub-panel and not only did they do a great job but they gave me a great price. I got quotes from other contractors but they were by far the cheapest. Ken, was professional and very polite. My dog barked at him all day and he never complained...sorry bout that Ken.
