Chris send his 2 assistants Mo and Mike to replace an old bathroom vent to a Panasonic Whisper.  After they left, I texted Chris to let him know the vent was not as quiet as I thought it should be. He called immediately to ask me a few technical questions on the box label then said he will send his team back. They came back to replace the existing duct with a 4 and it was quiet! Chris knows and love what he is doing! He did not charge me extra for the duct! Now a days it's rare to find people like him! Thank you Chris and thank you too to his team for being very nice , pleasant and neat. Appreciate the good work. Also very reasonable price. Will recommend Chris to friends and family

We had a circuit go out for the second time in about a year's time. American Electric Service was very responsive, scheduling was easy, and communication throughout the service was open. On the day of the service, Yarin arrived during the scheduled time, reviewed the cost of service prior to beginning and then went to work. Yarin, who said he enjoys the challenge of troubleshooting problems, determined that only half the circuit was working, throughly examined every outlet in the circuit, and then resolved the issue.  In the end my circuit was repaired, my confidence in Yarin and American Electric Service was established, and I knew who my electrician will be going forward: Yarin at American Electric Service!

Outstanding service and a great guy as well.

Mike helped in an emergency on a Sunday night. He was at our front door within the hour and had us back up and running shortly after.

Showed up on time and repaired the various problems quickly and at a great price.  Will use them again.

Crown Electric (John) did electrical work in my home recently which was all done nicely. He was on time and very friendly.

Before arriving he provided a verbal quote of $300 over the phone which I agreed to for the installation of  two wall sconces by running wire from an existing light fixture. The work was done the next day and the sconces look nice.

I then asked/reminded that I wanted a dimmer on wall switch and at the same time asked about installing an outlet for a toilet bidet. No problem for him to do but I did not ask for a price to do so  (big lesson once contractors are in your home). I mentioned a nice tidy way to run wire to the outlet as mentioned by another electrician but he had another idea, which he did without my permission and left me with a huge hole running across a wall I had just spent hundreds of dollars to repair, 8 feet by 5 inches (see photo).

Additional cost of adding a dimmer to an already installed outlet $150.

Additional cost of installing an outlet by toilet and running wire $350 (knocked off $100).

Please receive quotes upfront for everything you need done and ensure your marble floors, toilet, vanity and anything else new or old are covered before they arrive or you most likely will have a big mess to clean up.

Worst part:  Additional cost of $500 I will pay someone tomorrow to patch and drywall the ridiculously big hole he left for me to deal with and before the contractor can continue the work.

I have had a LOT of work done by Craig over the years - from installing a new electrical panel, installing an electrical line for a new jacuzzi, cutting a dishwasher in half to remove it from a problematic location, installing ceiling fans, light fixtures, etc.  Craig is always nice, professional, friendly and REASONABLE. He doesn't price gouge you - he is always fair.  And, he's a local guy. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

Love these guys. Bobby came over within 20 minutes of me calling them because he happened to be down the street. Had to get a brand new breaker. It took him an hour to fix everything. Fast and effective!

Chris was Great! Spoke to him over the phone he was on time and took care of putting a fan in the bathroom.  Helped me out greatly.  Would recommend for all projects.  Did a great job and charged 100% fair price.  I will be calling him back for any future work.

Awesome experience with Chris who upgraded our house electrical panel, fixed some exterior outlets and added an outlet above our fireplace for our TV to be mounted.

Another electrician tried to price gouge this job and we knew better. Do your homework peeps and start with M & I Electric.

They came out Wednesday 4/22 to replace a ceiling fan.  When they left the ceiling fan was working.

Later that night we went into the kitchen to cook dinner and found that the kitchen lights did not work, as well as the light over the wet bar.

They came back out on Friday 4/24 to correct that and the wet bar light and kitchen lights were working.

Later that night when we turned off the fan on and off the kitchen lights would go on and off.

So now he has to come back yet again and this time he is not leaving until he checks everything to our satisfaction.

At first, the appointment seemed to go so well but I'm disappointed that he has to correct so many mistakes.

If they fix this situation I will update this review.

Update: Nicolas and Jose came out on 04/27 Monday and fixed all the hiccups. We will definitely be using them next time.

We had an electrical issue at home and first thing I did was searched for an electrician locally here on Yelp! Ron had the best review by far so I gave him a call! It was a Sunday and just like what someone said here he did answer his phone and he tried to helped us out by talking us through the things we need to look at. Next thing you know he came by even though it was late and tried to see what was wrong!
Everything that people said about him was so true! He was very kind, honest and very knowledgeable in what he does! He took the time to explain to us what happened and what he has to do to rectify it. He didn't rush things and made sure he does it right.
So anyone out there who needs some help with electrical issue give Ron a call! I'm sure you won't be disappointed!

I was in need of Backyard trail lighting repair for about 24 lights. Walter was wonderful very professional, quick helpful and did a great job. Will definite contact again! I messaged Tomas on Wednesday night and he was able to come out the next day. I wasn't available but he made time Saturday morning to change out my faucet and hardware. Sebastian was 15 minutes early, worked extremely efficiently and left the area cleaner than when he started working. Can't recommend Excellent Handyman enough!
