Let me tell you about my crazy 60 hours and how American Reliable Services was so incredibly amazing.
Friday afternoon - A/C feels kinda warm and gross. Am I making it up? I'm not sure so I let it go a few more hours. I am not making it up. The A/C is that gross kind of temperature that isn't cold and is like a few degrees warmer than room temp.
Friday evening - I start looking on Yelp for places to call. It's almost 8pm and no one is answering the phone. I don't leave messages because that's annoying. Then I call ARS. I don't know why I left them a message but I did and it was the best choice ever. I left a message at 8:02pm and got a call back at 8:04pm. I spoke with the nicest woman, Sarah, and she said a technician would be out by 9 or 9:30 at the latest. She did warn me that there was an after hours fee (cool - as there should be) and that the technician didn't really speak a lot of English but that he could call the office and they could explain things to me (also cool).
Eric showed up between 9 and 9:30 and was the nicest man ever. I love this guy. I showed him around and he was so careful to wipe his feet before coming inside from the fan unit thing outside to the thermostat. It was determined that I needed freon and I spoke with the office and Eric added freon and told me it should get cold in an hour or so.
Saturday morning 7:36am- Over the course of the night the A/C was on like 8 hours straight and only cooled 5 or 6 degrees F. I called the number back and Sarah told me Eric could be there between 11 and 12 to check it out again.
Now, the only reason I needed this working was because I was throwing a party for 50 people Saturday at 3pm and it was going to be almost 90 degrees F. Otherwise, I would have been a little less panicky.
So, Eric shows up before 10am. He is once again so lovely. He goes into the attic and finds something squishing my big silver air transport hose things (Idk what they are called...ducts? or things that bring air to vents?) and that that is probably why the freon leaked so he showed me pictures and told me he would be able to fix it. Sarah in the office called to ask if I was able to understand what he found. I told her I was and that I really appreciated it.
Saturday - 1:33pm - omg, it's not cooling yet. I am freaking out and it's at least 10000 degrees. I call Sarah. I ask her if she never wants me to call back again and she is in no way frustrated with me, just all about problem solving. She asks the tech what I could do and it is recommended that I remove the filter. I do so. It's still hot. I'm a crazy person trying to figure out how cold the air is. They did warn me that it would take a little.
Saturday - 5:30pm - It's 80 degrees F in the house. I want to cry. And then the air comes on like normal A/C. It has been running since Eric left but just now it has decided to cool like normal air, maybe even colder than before. It becomes a normal temperature throughout the house and while wary, I take the cold as it comes, thankful that people are not sweaty and uncomfy.
Monday morning - The A/C has been working for 36 hours like it should. It is so amazing and I am so thankful to ARS.
So the customer service was like 10 stars. Truly. I talked to Sarah like twice in 12 hours and then once more a few hours later. She was sweet and kind and polite and just really wanted to fix the issue.
And Eric, OMG Eric, the best human being ever. This man would make a point to hop over my large floor rug, the little rug at the door, and would wipe his feet on the outdoor mat. He cared about my house like it was his own. He was so sweet in explaining things to me, I definitely understood most of it and what I didn't, he used a translator app that made tons of sense. He spent so much time with me and with the problem and just had such a calm and kind presence. AND THEN, at the end, after being in my house twice and fixing something that some other person had messed up, he got Windex and cleaned the attic cover, and the vents in the living room -- these were not marks he made, he just saw them and cleaned them.
I recommend this company - 10 stars!
An absolute life saver! Furnace decides to go out in the middle of a cold snap and rain storm. Kids need a warm house. Luckily David from American Reliable Services was on the case! Called at 8:30 PM--he was there at 9:30 on the dot.
Took David less than 40 min to isolate and repair the issue--a faulty igniter. He had one on the truck and in no time the furnace was blasting hot air again. His charges were more than fair, and he was polite and considerate--exactly what you need to take the panic away.
I hope to not need emergency services again in the near future, but if I do I know exactly who I'm calling.

David was great. We had an issue with our water pressure regulator and he was available late at night to help answer my questions. The next day he came by and replaced the regulator. He also fixed a shower and an HVAC issue that we were having the same day. I will definitely use this company again in the future.
Extremely responsive and fast service. David arrived towards the early part of his arrival window and was knowledgeable and quick. Rates were reasonable, ver pleased!

Nazaret came to replace my main valve and I live in a townhouse unit and need to shut off water for all of my neighbors. Not only he was here early but also was very prepared. He is very patient since lots of water just keeps coming out of the main pipe.
They also keep the work area very clean.
He is very knowledgeable with plumbing. My previous plumber refused to work on condo job. Highly recommended him for any plumbing issues
Let me tell you about David at American Reliable, he lives up to his name. I had a major plumbing problem. My washer was backing up flooding the place. Had a rooter service come couldn't fix they gave up and left. Looked through yelp and called American Reliable. David came up replaced the pipe thought we had the problem solved no still flooding. Called him back he came back right away. He was probably working on it for another 4 hours . Fixed the problem No extra charge. He his the plumber I will use from now on and he should be yours.

Very responsive and easy to work with. I am happy with my new mini split. It is now very cold in my house which I love.
I had them install a mini split near the Kitchen since it gets so warm there.
shower was having problems. found American Reliable Services online and gave them a call. They came right out and fixed my issue in under 30 mins and I was very happy with them. Respectable, nice and quick.
We've been suffering with slow drainage with our kitchen and laundry lines. We were expecting to shell out thousands to replace the pipe. Our HONEST plumber, David from American Reliable, told us that pressure cleaning would do the job for $500, guaranteed! He was right and we're happy customers. David arrived on-time, ready to fix our problems. David is now our go-to plumber. He also checked out our heating system.

I have two ancient HVAC units that refuse to heat when it rains. Most vendors said they wouldn't service them, but David from American Reliable Services called me within an hour and came out to look at them the next day. The first remedy didn't totally fix the problem, but David came back out 2 additional times to make sure the units were working as best as they could. He was wonderful to deal with and incredibly fair on pricing. I'd call them with any HVAC issues.

We had 2 major issues that needed fixing as well as a few minor ones that we put off. Our plumbers David and Otto methodically diagnosed the issues and fixed them all within a few days. It was a huge burden off our shoulders and seemed like it would have been much more complicated if we went with one of the other companies we checked first.

I needed more freon in my air con system. Two technicians came and did the diagnostics and gave me a reasonable price, cleaned the coils of the air con, and checked the filter. They were very efficient and my air con has never been colder! Very

Came home from a brief outing in the middle of a heat wave to find my house unbearably hot. The thermostat read 81. My vents were blowing air, but warm air. It was almost 7pm on the Saturday night of Labor Day weekend, so I wasn't optimistic that I could get someone out right away, but I started calling around.
After several rejections, Sarah at American Reliable Services was very kind and sympathetic. She offered me an 8-10am slot the following, which I eagerly booked. David called me shortly thereafter, letting me know that he'd do everything he could to make it out that night, even if it ended up being in the wee hours of the morning. He then texted about half an hour later saying that one of their other technicians could be here in the next hour or so! Hallelujah!
Nazaret arrived as promised and was friendly, knowledgeable, and efficient. He diagnosed the problem within minutes and had it fixed within ten.
I am so appreciative of the whole ARS team working together to make my house cool again. My pups and I thank you!
My ring flood light has been out for several days and I can fix tech but this ended up being an electrical issue that I don't go near. I got quotes from several electricians from $99 just to look and do nothing to $300+ for sight unseen. Arthur messaged me back and was actually reasonable and genuinely helpful. He had a team in my area and just sent them down to see if they could help and they did! Not only did they get my security cam back on but they ended up solving an electrical issue I gave up on for years!
I can't recommend this company enough. They took action, got to the issue right away, fixed it, and were super nice. The best thing is that I'm not poor after they left! Arthur, Oscar, and the apprentice guy were really great.
I was in need of an A/C repair person because my last guy was a jerk. And with this heat wave, I didn't want my pets (and myself) to suffer. So my standards were already pretty high. I actually found American Reliable here on yelp. Sarah, the manager, got back to me in minutes! I let her know that my situation is a peculiar one. My unit is on the roof of our townhouse and I've had other services come out only to look at the ladder for the roof access and tell me that they can't do it. And I'm still charged a service fee because they came out. I get that, but I could've found out that you can't do it over the phone and saved myself $100, right? So Sarah gives my number to one of their guys and asks him to contact me to make sure we are good to make an appointment. David calls me within MINUTES! Talk about responsive!!! He reassures me that they will go on the roof and service this unit that is older than me! And he does! He offered to come the same day but that he can't come until 7pm! They work 24/7 people! He felt bad about it too! I wasn't expecting to be home right away and I reassured him that I wasn't expecting someone to come the same day. So we agreed to meet the next day.
He was definitely busy as he did come later than planned but that's to be expected. They went up to the roof and did their thing. They told me what was needed and he was honest about it! He gave me options and what he would do if he was in my situation, etc... bottom line, I trust him. And I appreciate his honesty and his help in getting me the best price possible. They did have to leave and pick up parts from their warehouse that's an hour away in traffic. And they returned a few hours later to finish my job after they had done their next job nearby.
It was already dark, and they had two more stops after mine! They work so hard! And in this heat? Cold drinks were so necessary! Treat your service guys well people! Especially the good ones who truly deserve it! This is a highly recommended and I'm so glad I found them on here!

Arthur and his team were so great! I highly recommend using them for your electrical needs. They were very communicative and followed up quickly and when they'd be arriving.

Our AC stopped blowing cool air yesterday and the temperature climb over 85 degrees. It was stressful to imagine how the rest of the week would turn out and to possibly spend thousands of dollars to replace our unit. Thankfully our technician, David came to the rescue. He diagnosed the problem and brought our unit back to life. He was friendly, helpful and gave us some some tips on how to care for our unit during a heatwave. Thanks buddy!
had a main plumbing line clog on a Friday night, and put out an SOS to Yelp. David from American Reliable Services called me right away, talked me through what was likely going on, and was over with a hydro jet to clear out the line in no time at all! He explained everything thoroughly the entire time, and fixed the problem very quickly! Was EXTREMELY happy with the speed and quality of the service, especially on a Friday night! Would absolutely recommend!!
Wow is the word I begin with. Of course Murphy's Law has it that 2 hrs before I go to the airport, my AC outside fan stops and over heated. Scared that a fire or god knows what would happen because I know nothing about these things, I panicked and called this company because they had great reviews and near. Well, they picked up quickly and called David who was on another job. He came so quickly and figured out what was wrong immediately AND HAD THE PART IN THE TRUCK!!! Great reliable service you could really count on. Surely will hire this company again for electrical services.
I reached out to these experts to help fix my parents' a/c during a critical time of lots of waves of heatwaves going thru in and out like crazy as I don't know how to fix their a/c equipment. Wires were burned out which is probably why a/c was not working and they helped replace it. Also they replenish with a few pounds for A/C as it it was low on that, too. As the their name says, very reliable!

Arthur is AMAZING and professional! He's incredibly responsive and nothing short of genius.
The power had gone out in part of the house and I reached out via Yelp. Within no time, we were on the phone and FaceTime.

Very Professional, Fast, and respectful. We had an emergency AC repair for one of our properties on Friday evening, they showed up on time did the repair quickly, and charged a very reasonable rate for their services. one of the gentlemen even took an extra step to help me to fix the issue I had with the water running on my fridge.

Arthur helped me to convert my old Zinsco 100amp to 200amp panel in less than a day, he and his partner did a very nice job and nice work and most importantly to me the price is affordable. Passed the inspection in a minute. Lucky i found him here on Yelp and he will be my electrician guy from now on. The stucco guy he referred to patch my stucco also nice, friendly and hard worker. What can I say? Eric and David truly saved the day. My heat went out in December and it was pretty damn cold. I tried to change the thermostat because the heat would go on without stopping but then something went wrong when I tried to change it. I had some other guy come out and try to install it in could'nt and said I needed an electrician. I called Eric and David and they came out right away. I was out of their service area and it was already late in the day way past the regular working hours but they came anyway and truly saved me. My wife and I had been sleeping in the cold for a couple of nights already. They really went the extra mile in fixing my transformer and then also determining that my board was defective. In terms of diagnosing a problem these gentlemen had extensive training and expertise. They were able to determine that my old thermostat was broken as well as the nest I had recently purchased. They were patient and focused throughout the whole process. Luckily they had one of their own thermostats with them and were able to install it and got my heat working again! They were friendly and pleasant to work with. They are highly professional. I highly recommend them. Thank you David and Eric for restoring it to my wife, son, and I!
If you want to hire someone that will respect your time, is knowledgeable on installs, and is efficient this is not the place. If we had not been watching they would have installed our unit incorrectly. Out of the 4 people that came only 1 had the decency to wear a mask when we asked.
The guy that scheduled us on the phone was so sweet and I thought that would be a reflection of how they do business but oh boy that was not the case at all. I did think it was odd that they didn't want to come out to give an estimate first and see what they needed to do the job and probably should've taken that as a warning sign...
Scheduled an appointment for 9am... over 45mins past 9am and I had to reach out to see if they were still going to show up. They said they were still coming... They ended up showing up almost 3 HOURS later then our appointment . They get here, we come out to greet them and thank them for coming and we get where's the unit. No intro, no sorry about that no hi there No apology nothing, nada. Like we were inconveniencing him by hiring them to do the install... This one guy showed up with a massive attitude problem and we could not trust him in our house at all. We were going to ask them to leave because he was so rude but we thought this is an easy job they'll be gone in a couple hours and we really needed to get it done. Not the case, We regretted not turning them away.
I expressed that I would like them to wear masks because I have an auto immune issue and my partner is asthmatic, no mask. I asked them repeatedly throughout the day to please wear a mask at least 6 or 7 times and only the 1 nice guy put on a friggin mask.
The entire time the grumpy condescending guy just kept bickering with the other worker who was actually quiet nice and it seemed like the grumpy guy never had installed a mini split before and just didn't want to hear what this guy had to say. We had purchased a great unit with intention of doing it with a friend who works in AC, he just didn't have time and frankly we should've just done it ourselves because we had to sit and watch this guy be a condescending and dismissive to us and his co workers the whole time trying to put this unit in.
The condescending guy had installed the hole in the wall with the direction of the angle going opposite of what it needed to be. It would have caused drainage problems and the lines would be kinked if he were to actually thread the piping through and push it flush against the wall. I was scoffed at when I inquired about this and told it's fine. Which is certainly was not and anyone that knows anything about how to install a mini split would say the same thing, and when he was getting ready to install the lines it was still not fixed so I had to ask them to again if they are going to fix it so we don't have any issues with the lines. The other guy was on the same page and reiterated the same thing a few times prior. I had to ask them like 4 times and that they not continue attaching the lines until the angle is fixed.
Next, The the electrical guys... They come to install the power line and it was another round of omg why did we hire these ppl? Immediately the condescending guy starts in with them. Again, no one wearing masks, we asked them to put masks on they look me dead in the eyes and say nothing and don't put on a mask. Now we have 2 electrical guys and the grumpy condescending guy that originally came bickering for a couple more hours.
Our day was shot and they still had to come back the next day to finish the job and even when they put the covering on the outside I had asked what they would be using to seal it off, the condescending dude goes we don't need to seal it and the electrical guy immediately responds with the water proofing sealant name they will be using.
Needed a panel upgrade and Arthur was the first to reach out to me. He's honest, reliable, hardworking. He provided excellent customer service. I think the thing that I liked best was he seemed really trustworthy and gave me a comparable price to everyone else I was asking. He took lots of pictures of my wiring when he went up to my attic so I knew exactly what was going on. He took time to explain to me the options I had going forward. I was really impressed by him and his team and have nothing bad to say about the whole experience. When it comes time to re-wire my home, I'm definitely reaching out to him again. So glad I found him!
They came and took care of everything I needed very quickly, and I wasn't even home. It was so easy I'm almost looking forward to the next time I need electrical work. Thank you!
My AC went out and turned out it was an issue with the circuit breaker. Arthur was able to troubleshoot and walk me through fixing the problem myself over the phone. I'll be calling these guys for all my future electrical issues.

Our furnace stopped pushing cold air through the house on one of those 95+ days. They were able to find someone to come out and diagnose the problem same day (lucky) and then find the needed motor the next Monday. Communication was great and at no point did I feel like they we were being sold more than we needed. Also got some advice on future issues to get ahead of things.

After a few quotes and responses from several businesses, Arthur was the only one who responded quickly, efficiently and made the effort to speak to me over the phone and assist me. I sent photos and spoke to him over the phone and I wasn't able to figure out my switch issue. He was so kind and offered to send someone over to fix my dimmer switch the same day within just a couple of hours. The guys showed up on time and easily fixed my dimmer switch with ease. They were very nice and helpful and completed the task in less than 30 minutes! I was very pleased with the outcome and I will definitely be contacting them again for any future electrical needs! Thank you for saving me from frustration and being generous and reasonable with pricing and timing! A++!
We had American Reliable install a full HVAC system when we bought our house in 2018. Since then, we've had multiple issues, and had American Reliable come back to assess and service it. One time, the drain pan had overflowed and leaked through the ceiling light onto the floor in the main house, and they came out and said they fixed it but gave little to no information as to how it happened. Now, we decided to have another company come out to service it, as we were not able to get the temperature down, and they told us in their years of experience on the job, they've never seen a system like this or a system installed like this. The drain pan was installed incorrectly, and is now fully rusted and about to crack. The inside of the system has a leaking coil which we were not aware of, and likely is the reason the pan overflowed the first time, and is the reason for all the corrosion. American Reliable did not follow code, and only installed one singular drain pipe when there is supposed to be 3. They also didn't install a safety switch. We're now looking at a $4k repair because of the poor install by American Reliable. It's possible that the unit is still under warranty but in order to use that, we'd have to have American Reliable do the repair, and we honestly don't want to have them back. The soonest we can have it repaired by another company is in 15 days, during which we cannot use our system at all so that the pan doesn't crack, which would cause much more in damage to our home. We're so disappointed and will not be recommending them to anyone, nor will we use them again ourselves.

They came to my home on the 25th of August for an in person quote to install an EV Charger and 2 ceiling fans. The work was scheduled for this morning, September 5th at 8:30am. I called the tech I had been dealing with at 8:50am to ask where they were and was told, it's a holiday, and the guys didn't want to work today. Unacceptable! They picked the date to do the work, not me. The tech then went on to say, he realized last night about the holiday, but too late to call or text me. How about this morning at that time you were supposed to be here? No call, no show, you've lost my business. I don't appreciate having my time wasted. I went out and purchased the fans over the weekend. I did my job. I also had painters working at the house today, that would be able to patch any holes created from installing the fans. Now, I need to waste more time finding a new electrician and get on their schedule.

Revising my review of this company. I recently moved outside of Los Angeles and needed an electrician to fix a busted exterior outlet by our pool. I used American Reliable in the past and had a decent experience. This time was the complete opposite. They sent an incompetent technician to try and fix this problem only to make things worse. Where to begin?! 1) The technician showed up without any protective covid gear. No mask, gloves, nothing. And this guy would rub his nose and mouth and then ring our doorbell (see pics attached). Beyond disgusting. When I called American Reliable about this days later they told me they actively discourage their technicians from wearing masks when visiting homes. Can you believe this?! During a global pandemic!?!?! It's not only against the law but deplorable behavior toward other people's health. 2) We have a pool fence around our pool because we have children and we care about their safety. This technician took down part of the pool fence to try and service the outlet but never put the fence back up when he left. We have security video of this behavior. He completely could care less about the children's well being in this home. 3) When he tried to service the outlet and junction box he left wires exposed before he left again not caring about the well being of the children who clearly lived here.
After all that, 4) the kicker was this technician came to fix an exterior outlet by our pool but because of his incompetence he ended up breaking the pool lights. These lights worked prior to him coming to the house. Now they don't. The technician kept asking me if the lights really did turn on before as if I was lying about it. I sent him photos proving they worked. He kept saying There is no neutral. There is no neutral like a broken record. He couldn't figure out why the outlet didn't work and why the pool lights now didn't work. After two visits with no luck, American Reliable called me asking to pay $600 for them to trouble shoot the issue. Can you believe this?!?! They break the lights and now they are asking for me to pay to fix them. No way that was happening. I called a truly reliable electrician recommended to me by a friend. This different electrician was able to figure out what happened, find the neutral immediately, fixed the pool lights and got the outlet working within an hour. Unreal! Either American Reliable had the most incompetent technician who has no business being an electrician or American Reliable was trying to scam me out of some money. Either way not good! I will never use their services again and I highly recommend anyone reading this to avoid them at all costs. For your health and safety during this pandemic and for your sanity to not have to deal with idiots.
ABSOLUTELY Reliable Service!! ARS responded to my general inquiry for a landscape lighting issue and sent their best guy - ARTHUR - to help me. This was the 3rd electrician from 3 different companies I've had come out to fix my lights. 18 Brand new LED landscape and spot lights, brand new 300W transformer box, newly fixed section of new wire... and still total blackout in the backyard (and occasional flickering light show).
Arthur quickly diagnosed the problem and scheduled a fix-it date, came back with his crew, and a few MINUTES later fixed a problem that 3 other prior electricians couldn't figure out!! Arthur has that 'gonna fix it for you' attitude that made me feel like our lights were in good hands! Absolutely reliable, absolutely responsible, absolutely recommended!! Thank you Arthur, we have LIGHTS ON again!!
Nazaret is a true professional. Showed up early wearing a mask.
He quickly diagnosed my AC and fixed it with no upselling....
What more could I ask for in the middle of a heat wave.

Wow is all I can say. David and Tony are literal life savers. Our AC stopped working the hottest day of the year. They came same day, super late at night. Then the power went out on the block and they waited an hour until it came back on to assess our problem.
It turns out we needed a new motor, of course. So they took ours out, found a replacement early the next morning, came right over and got it back up and working immediately.
They charged us fairly, were polite, prompt, knowledgeable and responsive. Probably the best experience I have ever had with a vendor.

I needed to upgrade my electrical panel. And I didn't want to call just any electrician to get it done, so I did my research and I called American Reliable Services. I spoke with one of their technician, Arthur, and I was very pleased and relieved to actually talk to someone who not only knew what they were talking about but also was honest. He took the time to answer many of my question over the phone. And was able to give me an appointment right away.
Arthur showed up on time to our appointment. And was a true professional. He showed and explained to me all the details of what he was doing and going to do. Art cleaned up his workspace so well that it didn't even look like he had done work. He also made sure all of the necessary/required permits with the city. And my newly upgraded Panel passed all required city inspections. He was very thorough, clean and diligent. I'am glad I have found this company. And will keep them in my references for many years to come. Very highly recommended. A+++ on every level!!

Charges $125 for estimates on new AC unit replacement? Plenty of other companies that do it for free. Moving on to the next business.

A GREAT -- FABULOUS job by Arthur & his electrical guys, Nazaret's team of plumbers & sewer workers, great work and attitude is everything-- and Mike in the office-- is THE BEST, there is no better -- he's very polite & well mannered..
This was a TEAM effort -- getting all of this accomplished requires teamwork from ARS, the homeowners, City Inspector, & Dwp.
A job of this magnitude -- means a few mistakes with paperwork can happen..
BUT WHEN I articulate this to ARS, Nazaret is VERY good about FIXING those mistakes AND adding ADDITIONAL Customer Service items so that we feel happy again, like installing mom's new screen door and ceiling hook for a hanging patio lamp -- just a couple examples..
IF you hire them and find mistakes-- JUST TELL THEM-- don't let things slide by.. THEY will FIX IT..

I wanted them to come out a quote a new system. They asked for a $125 fee to do that. Which is ridiculous. Paying for a quote is shady. But it will go toward the quote is not okay. Homeowners and businesses need to compare quotes and can't be shelling out money for them. Either they want business based on fairness, or they want to make money off of $125 fees.

Needed my pool light and sport court light working TODAY! After calling a few people (including my regular electrician) who all said NO, I called American Reliable who sent Arthur within the hour. Not only did he come within the hour (with a mask on), but he fixed both things in less than an hour. I found my new electrician and I am SO HAPPY. Thank you Arthur!!
Z is amazing! Super nice dude and did an amazing job installing outlets in all 5 bathrooms! I plan on having bidets in every bathroom. He was really thorough and kept me updated with everything. After first meeting him he even offered to drive me to work because i didn't have a car that day. My wife called him to fix a couple things at her salon.
I'm glad that i found an electrician i can trust and call for any future problems.

Great job! We needed a fan installed in the master bedroom that had no power or light on the ceiling. And also to divert the wall switch from an outlet to the new ceiling fan.
The team showed up on time and knocked out the job in a few hours. Very clean install. Very professional. I'd be happy to use them again. And Arthur checked out my main service panel, which is old, and gave me a little insight about that job. It's on the list!
Our experience with American Reliable Services was great. We were connected with Nazaret. He was able to see us same day for an estimate. The estimate was reasonable and an appointment was made. Our issue was that using multiple appliances at once in our kItchen was causing power outage to one side of our house. Nazaret and his partner arrived on time, were professional, placed some more conduit&circuits for our kitchen, and completed the job in a few hours. It's been two weeks since the job was done; we have not had anymore issues with power outages, everything is great so far. Thank you!
I haven't reviewed anyone in AGES because I am lazy, but oh my gosh I had to jump online at 9:45 pm because this company is amazing. We were on vacation and got a text from the dogsitter that the air wasn't working great and eventually that it wasn't working at all, but she didn't seem too panicked and so we figured we'd check it out when we got home. Cut to arriving from almost 36 hours of international travel to a house that was 96 degrees on a Friday night and a dog that was dangerously unhappy.
David was at our house in 30 freakin' minutes. They were very clear over the phone about the emergency service fee - even to the point that they encouraged us to wait until morning so it would be free - but we were too hot to be patient. Our air conditioner is fixed before I've even had a chance to begin unpacking, the dog is finally settling, and I'm so, so grateful they weren't kidding about 24-hour service. Will definitely call them for anything in the future, and totally worth the price.

Atrocious customer service. This company can't even get out of 1st gear. After having called multiple times to request a quote, they consistently fail to return calls. Each time, the receptionist was very apologetic, but each time, no call back. The only part of their name that seems to be accurate is that they're reliably dishonest & flakey. Don't waste your time with these disorganized and/or indifferent amateurs.
***Update***: the owner replied to my accurate and honest review by suggesting that my negative review was a case of mistaken identity. This seems to be his modus operandi with several negative reviews by other customers. I have the call logs to support my claims and will post them here, if need be. What's even more interesting is that within 30 minutes of having written my review, a representative from the business called me (after hours, I might add) to apologize and attempt to remediate the situation. If my initial review was a case of mistaken identity, I find it extremely curious that the business would immediately contact me subsequent to my having written an honest and negative review. Something seems very fishy about this place. Tomorrow morning, I shall reach out to one of their competitors for a quote.
Imagine it's 90 degrees out and you, a fool, have just managed to ruin your wiring while trying to install a smart thermostat at 7 pm on a Saturday. I called a few companies and they were mostly unhelpful or closed; I called American Reliable and in less than an hour, David and Tony showed up, right when they said they would, were courteous, professional, super experienced and explained the problem perfectly. Within a few minutes they fixed up my system, and also gave me some advice on the filter. Cannot stress enough that these are going to be my HVAC people for life. THANK YOU!!!

I called this company to install exhaust fan to a bathroom I was working on in August 18. They send me a rep, Arthur, and he was very professional, he gave me a great price, came on time and when was hired his crew came on time and did a great job and were very clean and professional as well.
I've been working with a lot of plumbers and electricians for the last few years, and these guys are great. Very knowledgeable, reliable and have reasonably priced services.
Hiring then again for next project.

After having our AC stop working yesterday during a record breaking heat wave, I was very happy to see the technician here this morning right on time. He was knowledgeable and worked quickly to get the cool air flowing right away! All good right? Well here's why I gave them only two stars...first of all they charge you $125 just to show up! WOW!! Then he shows us that our capacitor went out and that's all that needed to be replaced and it was only going to cost us $250 for the part plus the service fee of course. After he left we decided to look the part up online and found that we could get a pack of TWO from Walmart for $16.99!!!!! That's one heck of a mark up people!!! So be warned and do your homework or you too will be suckered like we were!

Art and his crew are true professionals that get the job done. Our home has sidings and therefore installing lights was not as simple as we originally thought. Art went out of his way to make sure that none of the sidings were damaged and did a very clean job! Highly recommend this company!
Our air conditioner conked out on a particularly hot and humid day. Nazaret came out in just a couple hours, diagnosed the problem, and fixed it - also preventing a future problem that could have blown the unit. We will be using ARS in the future. Prices were very reasonable.
David was quick to respond and to keep in contact, even as I bombarded him with texts and questions about pricing and possible repair issues. He was incredibly professional, and gave pricing estimates up front before having to look at anything.
On the day of the repair appointment, he arrived 2 minutes early and went straight to work. He fixed my issue quickly with no mess, no issue, and charged me the exact amount he said he would.
I totally recommend this guy!
Nothing about this company is reliable. Please don't waste your time for even getting a quote from this company. My husband made an appointment for 8-10 on Saturday morning. They never showed up and after we called them they said we don't provide the sink installation services! although my husband went through everything we needed to be done we the agent that he booked the appointment with.
I moved into a new apartment just before the Downtown LA summer kicked in, and immediately found that the AC unit was rusted, clogged and leaking like crazy. Landlord told me to handle it and deduct costs from rent.
I got an in home evaluation from another HVAC company, who told me they couldn't do the plumbing work necessary to fix the issue. Scheduled another with a different company that did HVAC and plumbing and they told me they would need to turn off all water in the building to fix the issue. Building would have charged me $250 for that.
Sent out a few yelp quotes and got a quick response back from American Reliable Services who offered to do a free in-home inspection.
David arrived exactly at the scheduled time, morning after I made my appointment. My AC vent is about 16 feet above the floor and placed several feet away from the wall. David went to home depot to buy a ladder that would reach. He was able to diagnose the issue in like 5 minutes. Since the tray was completely rusted, he had to order that part, which was ready in two days.
David and Nazaret returned when they got the part to repair the backup in the pipes and the replace the rusted tray and filter. They didn't have to shut off water, they were great at explaining and demonstrating all the work that needed to be done, and gave me a great price for all their time and materials. They also replaced a section of the piping with clear tube to make it easier to identify buildup in the future! In total, I don't think they spent more than 45 minutes in my apartment.
Will absolutely rehire these guys if I find myself in a situation like this again.

Arthur showed up right on time, before I knew it my new electrical outlet was installed and I was up and charging! I can't in good conscience give 5 stars, although the actual repair work was easy and quick, technician was friendly.
I contacted American Reliable through Yelp and was told someone would call me for a quote soon; this was two Fridays ago. Shortly after, I talked to one of the techs about repairing a broken socket light. We exchanged texts, I sent him pictures of the light, and he suggested we just replace it with LEDs so we don't have the hassle of bulbs. The price was good and we agreed to replace the two lights in our bedroom. An appointment for Wednesday 9-10am was made.
Tuesday night at 10:30pm I received a message saying a job ran late and they couldn't make the Wednesday appointment.. that my husband already took a day off for. Ok, I understand things like this happens but this was extremely late notice. The tech was nice enough to reschedule to a time that was better for us (Thursday in the afternoon) instead of forcibly having us agree to an inconvenient time.
Thursday, he came and fixed one of the lights and realized there was another hardware problem for the other light that he would have to get parts for. He left without charging us and said he would contact us soon to see if we can make an appointment for Monday afternoon. We didn't receive any calls or texts so I texted him Monday and scheduled for Wednesday (today). He was able to fix the socket and put in the LED light with no problems.
The service was good but reliability could be hit and miss.

Very impressed. Our AC gave out at 7pm yesterday during a heat wave. I found American Reliable Services on Yelp and they were amazing. I called at 9:30pm and reached an actual person immediately. She scheduled a visit for that same night. Avo, the repairman, arrived around midnight and diagnosed the problem in about 10 minutes - blown capacitor. He did a temporary fix so we'd have AC until he could come back with the right part today. He just left and everything is working well.
Avo was fast and courteous and the price was really reasonable. Feeling especially lucky since I never heard back from any of the AC companies I left messages for last night!
UPDATE - just had them out again for a new problem. Fast response, great service, nice repairmen and thankfully, a nice cool house again. Whew!
I was recently asked if I knew someone who was capable of replacing electrical service panels. Interestingly enough I had my electrical service panel replaced not too long ago by a different company. I was referred to a contractor by a realtor I know and unfortunately, I did not use Yelp in my case and ended up with one of the worst customer service experiences ever.
So my response to the question was that I suggested they lookup electricians in their area on Yelp. We looked over a few that came up in our search and found American Reliable.
American Reliable had a good number of reviews, most of which are 5 stars.
American Reliable came out and looked over the house and provided a very reasonable estimate.
We worked out a schedule for the work to be done and they were very accommodating.
Arthur arrived with a couple of additional gentlemen. They were very professional, fast but thorough and provided good quality work.
I can't emphasize how important it is to use Yelp when you're looking for good quality as a consumer. It's the best way to ensure you get the best quality goods and services in addition to maximizing your investment.

My air conditioner was having trouble starting. It kept struggling to get going if it even started at all. I called American reliable services and spoke with Nazaret who told me he could come out within a couple hours. Not only was he there within a couple hours he was there even earlier than expected ON A HOLIDAY WEEKEND! He quickly diagnosed my air conditioner and fixed it on the spot. I thought I'd have to spend thousands more and if I went with another company I might've had to. The first thing everyone else wanted to do was put in a new air conditioner, But Nazaret found the problem and save me the hassle of having to go through countless other businesses and having to have countless conversations about how I need to buy a new unit. This ones old. Clearly it still gets the job done with some care from a true professional. Thank you very much, Nazaret, you are very much appreciated.

I called American Reliable Services because I read some great reviews online. I needed to replace my old tank water heater with a new tank-less system AND I needed to move that system from my basement to the garage. Since I am in a town-home with limited access points, it was a bit more complicated to find and connect gas and water lines in the new location.
I called a few companies and had three technicians come to my home to scope out the project. Nazaret at ARS was the only technician that I felt confident understood the process needed to move the system and could give me an estimate on the spot. He was very knowledgeable and clear with me about the parts, the labor and the cost. The other companies sent technicians that I don't think understood the project or at least had never done it themselves and there was way too much humming and hawing, and 'I'll have the office get back to you on this one.
I also booked ARS because they offer a variety of services and we needed a few other things done. We needed some minor work on our HVAC, some electrical work, and other odds and ends. It was great to have it all done at once and in one day.
Lastly, the price they quoted me beat their competitors' by a landslide AND included all this extra work that I didn't even get priced with the other guys. The team was fast, efficient, and did a beautiful job. They left my place as clean as they found it. I will be booking them in the near future for more work!

These people are crooks. They will take your money and will give you nothing!! Horrible service, will never use them again. I called them about a broken heater and told them it's urgent because my house is freezing. Nazareth came and looked at my furnace but couldn't tell me what's wrong or give me a quote and would return the next day. Now I'm told he's sick and they don't know when he can come. So I paid $125 for nothing. No quote for a repair, no repair. Mike says that fee was for someone to come to my house. What's the point of coming to my house if I don't even get a quote? Very Unprofessional and extremely rude!!!! Run from these guys.

Nazaret was amazing! He and his crew installed three ceiling fans and recessed lighting and it looks great and works perfectly! Not only that, but he was able to do this without making a bunch of holes on the ceiling when several other contractors said that they would need to.
Nazaret and his crew were all very friendly and left us feeling very taken care of. We will DEFINITELY be using American Reliable Services again and we strongly suggest you do too! Wow. I am extremely impressed with ARS!!! Let me start with the problems that arose and how ARS responded quickly, efficiently, and very professionally.
The central heating/air condition system and a part of our home's electrical system somehow broke down tonight. I live in Eagle Rock and it is currently very cold thanks to everything breaking down at the perfect time. Tried resetting the breakers...that didn't work. I then called several companies and right off the bat they quoted me at outrageous prices without sharing with me the specifics of what must be done and how quickly they could help my situation. When I asked questions, their attitude towards me changed and it felt like I was being a bother instead of trying to earn my business and help someone in dire need.
Then a friend recommended ARS, so I contacted them despite the late hours...
Their operator immediately shared concern and sympathy with my situation and had me speak with the manager. Literally within 1 hour, they had employees come to my house and walked me through what the main problems were. They were very understanding, friendly, well mannered, very professional, and sympathized with my situation. ARS made me feel like they sincerely cared. Without using mechanical jargon, they clearly explained what needed fixing, quoted me at a very good price in comparison to the previous companies I dealt with, tended to my house right away, and guess what? Heat/AC works perfectly tonight!! Also not to mention they were able to take a look at the electrical problems and cut me a great deal! Its good to know there are local businesses that care genuinely for their customers' well being.
ARS works hard to keep their customers happy and guarantees their customers' satisfaction. Not satisfied at the end? You better believe they will work hard to keep your business! I'm writing this review because I believe that small businesses like ARS need to be recognized for their superior customer service and professional work.
I highly recommend ARS for any electrical needs, no matter the situation or time, and will definitely promote their business with friends and family!

I don't know how to really rate them because they fixed one problem, but not the other and I dont think it was worth the $250 =/ there was a leak due to a clogging in the air conditioning unit, which is located on our roof and the gentleman fixed that issue.
The other issue I had and he wasn't able to fix or tell me why it occurs is the delay in the AC starting. After turning switching on the AC, it takes about 20+ minutes for the AC to actually start working. After the visit, it has been taking even longer for some reason. I'm not sure how much these visits usually cost, but I was annoyed because they state free home estimate and I wasn't provided with an estimate. The guy went up there, fixed one issue and then told me I owe $250. i would have been completely satisfied if he actually fixed both problems and I wasn't sitting in my bedroom right now sweating because its over 80 degrees inside my house.
Oh and he was at my house for about 40 minutes.
David came on a moments notice.... when my temperature rose to 84 -- I realized my AC needed some TLC!
The company who installed it was not available, so ARS was here in a jiffy.

Me and my husband just bought a new house in Los Angeles (moving from Sacramento, CA) and boy oh boy it's been a very loooong and rough process for us -- due to traveling back and forth we needed to find people that can help us with the lights in our house. It was so hard going around and asking family for recommendations a good friend of mine suggested American Reliable Services and of course I went straight to Yelp! I requested a quote and a man named David responded and literally had answers to ALL of my questions. I was a little nervous and anxious but of course I was proved not to be after we met up and went over prices. All I have to say is this company is very reliable, trustworthy & always on time! BTW David came in and installed some lights in our walk in closet. I'm going to contact next week for lights to be installed in our backyard
Electrical Review:
I can sum up this company in 1 word, Integrity. Arthur and his crew completed a whole house re-wire and a new electrical panel, and we are extremely pleased! They are very responsive and On Time! Its very rare to find contractors that do what they say they are going to do, when they say they are going to do it, and on time. Highly recommend!!!!
Human answered the phone, scheduled us for a next day visit during high season (for a free estimate), and then was able to do the job on the spot. They even adjusted the cost *down* (from ~$220 to $75) when they found out things were simpler than initially thought.
They also showed up on time, which is really not as common as it should be.
Last October we had David troubleshoot our then 2.5 year old package unit as it was hardly blowing cold air during a warm autumn spell. David determined that the unit was low on freon and would require a recharge, and $325 later we were back up and running. He also mentioned at the time that the unit's compressor was noisy, which was not a good sign.
Two weeks ago I again reached out to the company due to the same problem. Incidentally, Mike, the receptionist/dispatcher, and David (the technician) were both easy-going and friendly. Certainly had the people skills and clearly communicated logistics!
When David recently visited he indicated that my compressor was the culprit and required replacement, and when I suggested to him that it should be covered by the manufacturer's warranty he requested that I confirm so by contacting the manufacturer, if not the original installer.
At this point it struck me as odd that they'd hint at passing on the job. My installer was nowhere to be found, and while I was interested in warranty coverage I had every expectation of covering their labor. After confirming warranty was in effect, I reached out to David and Mike to give the green light on the work. Essentially they stated, after consulting 'the boss,' that they would not take on the job, and had it been a unit that they installed they would have provided the warranty service.
So, I ended up finding another HVAC technician that was highly recommended. His diagnosis was quite different: he pointed out a couple thin copper pipes that were leaking freon, swapped them out, and refilled the unit with freon as it was low again. Moreover, I only paid for labor since he submitted warranty claim for parts.
I suppose I should be thankful ARS didn't take on the job; I might have replaced a pricey piece of equipment that didn't need to be. At any rate, it didn't sit well that what seems like a reputable company would not have provided an accurate/reliable diagnosis and decline doing the type of work that you might expect they'd be capable of performing. I won't be reaching out to ARS again.
David came during a heatwave. Had to come three times given that the previous install was lousy. He made sure it all worked, responded to texts in a timely fashion, wore a mask, spec-ed out a new unit and showed up when he said he would. Gave good advice and did a great job.
Terrible company. There name is reliable and they are not reliable. We made an appointment between 8am-10am and they never called showed up.
The dispatcher said she had the wrong area code, but the area code was verified on the call to make the appointment as well as written In The inquiry. They claim to be a 24/7 service but couldn't come until the next day supposedly. DO NOT trust this company.

Beyond disappointed. A previous poster termed this company as not being able to get it out of 1st gear and that's sadly accurate. I had several communications with a representative of this company about scheduling the work to be done outlined in our contract. I suggested days that I wanted the work to be done and asked could the company accommodate me. When I sent a follow-up e-mail asking when the work could be scheduled, I received a response saying workers were outside of the residence ready to go. No set time or date had been scheduled, nothing had been communicated to me that contractors were on their way to the residence, and the entire ordeal just yelled either unprofessional or incompetent. Stay clear of this company.

In response to the business manager's comments below:
1) I tried to schedule the work FOR OVER A WEEK and never could get a definitive date.
2) You tried reaching out to me when your team had already arrived at my rental property and realized no one was there so you can save the impression of being proactive.
3) Your company provides free quotes for everyone, that's not any aberration or favor you did for me.
Unbelievable!! Late in a 106 degree day, the AC quits working. OH NO!! Called American Reliable. They had a tech out within a couple hours. First tech couldn't sort the issue so called a more senior tech. After what I'm sure was a long, hot, miserable, insanely busy day, he fought with my AC until well after midnight and finally triumphed!! Never have I heard such a sweet sound as my AC compressor. His dedication to getting it fixed was just amazing. I love that man. I can not recommend this place highly enough!!!!!

used ARS to install AC in two houses- one central w/ new ductwork, another was a mini split in a rental property. on both counts they were incredibly affordable and made the process super easy. what little hiccups there were were addressed super quickly.
my only regret is not spending more time researching hvac efficiency. ARS presented the most affordable options, which was great, but in hindsight i probably should have spent a bit more for a more efficient option, particularly in the central system. but all in all, a great budget option

DON'T CALL THESE GUYS!!! YOU ARE WASTING YOUR TIME! Ever wonder why its only ~300 reviews is 5 stars all the way? yea these guys are scamming you. If you are ok with Do it yourself stuff around the house like we all are in the valley, you don't need to call these guys. It really is just replace the capacitor and you are done. They charged me $300 for a capacitor last year when we had a heat wave and now it BROKE AGAIN! I went up to the roof and check it and the capacitor broke again! DON'T CALL THESE GUYS!!! YOU ARE WASTING YOUR TIME!
I woke up at 10:43pm to the sound of my smoke detector chirping.... the problem: the detector was on a 15 foot ceiling that I couldn't get to... that horrible, grading sound was not within my reach!
It continued while I called 4 or 5 companies claiming that they had 24/7 service and had 4-5 star ratings... no one picked up and I left messages (NONE of which got back to me)... I finally dialed ARS and not only did they answer the phone, Nazaret gave me a very reasonable cost quote and an ETA of being to my place within 60-90 minutes... he was here in 30! He replaced the batteries to all of my smoke detectors and he was on his way!
I will most definitely use ARS again....
Nazaret and his team were great. I needed a bathroom remodeled quickly. Nazaret was very responsive in terms of providing an estimate, making suggestions on what must be done vs what is optional, and how to reduce the cost of the project. The work was completed on time and there was no unpleasant surprises with change orders that increased the cost. He was very patient explaining what needed to be done and where they were in the process. Nazaret, thanks for a job well done!
Last night at 10pm all of my main electrical appliances went out including my fridge/freezer, oven, microwave, heater and kitchen outlets. I have 3 kids so I have no time to wait for this to be fixed! I immediately went on Yelp and called this number. A very nice guy named Arthur picked up immediately, diagnosed the problem on the phone and offered to come out ASAP (last night!!!!). He even followed up again with me this morning to ensure my issues were fixed.
As we all know bad things happen at times least expected. It's amazing knowing this company cares about great customer service! Thank you, Arthur.
I don't know if they're still in business. First project was 5 stars. Second project it took almost 2 months to get a quote, and then there was no follow up, so I let it go. After such a great experience the first time, this was a huge disappointment.
So delighted to recommend Mike and David based on the highly professional and friendly service we received yesterday! We had an electrical issue with our AC and David was able to diagnose and fix the problem quickly (and on one of the hottest days of the year!) I spent a week trying to schedule a time to have the company send someone and check out my faulty dimmers. The rep on yelp messenger told me the technician will call me to schedule an appointment.The technician never gave me a call. I asked them again on yelp messenger and still they told me to wait for the technician to call but I never got the phone call. This repeated for a couple of days. It's so inconvenient how complex it is to simply schedule an appointment. I could have gone with a different electrician company in the meantime.
I was having difficulty with my AC. Turns out something was wrong with the electrical as well as it not filtering properly. It was shutting off and on and had an odd smell. It was easy for me to schedule them to send a tech out. Art was was able to explain the problem. The price was reasonable and done in a timely matter. Thank God. Summer is right around the corner. If ever I have an issue again I'll call them.
This company provided great service. They were very professional pulling all permits and making sure the job was complete. Arthur was the person I worked with and he was able to give me a great deal compared to many of other companies I interviewed for the job.
From my previous review all I'm trying to do is get a partial refund since I was charged for 60min service which was far from the truth.

Yes the tech showed me a video of the wet panel beforehand BUT you make it seem like he video'd drying breaker by breaker.
And how did he know in advance that I needed a special breaker beforehand.

Made an appointment on Yelp with Andy the manager. The time came for arrival of the technician and no one showed. We called the office and we got the run around telling us they will call the technician and call us back. We waited and waited and no call back. This company is very unprofessional and does not know how to keep an appointment or reach their technicians. Moving on to a company that can give good customer service.
I called 3 different companies. This one was the quickest to respond, best price, and most professional. Arthur, the field supervisor Was there during the entire time of the job to make sure it is done well. The guys who did the job also did an excellent job and very professional. Arthur even went out of his way to help me out and accommodate what I'm looking for. This is the company you should call highly recommend

I needed a chandelier installed for my new home and I contacted a couple of electricians I found on Yelp through Yelp messages and Andy, the owner, responded within minutes. Then, he referred me to one of his electrician named Zareh. I communicated with Zareh by phone and text. He asked me about the ceiling height, type and weight of the chandelier. He explained everything very well in regards to the installation process and price over the phone. He was very flexible with appointment time and I was able to schedule at the exact day and time I wanted which was early Saturday morning. On the day of the appointment, Zareh came with an extendable ladder and necessary tools and everything went as smooth as I wanted to be. He was very professional, friendly and polite; he took his shoes off voluntarily and that's something that I always have to ask when people come to my house. The ceiling was a bit higher than what I had told him, over 18 ft, but fortunately, he was able to reach it and did an excellent job. He also helped me with other electrical issues and gave great recommendations on saving money on electric bills. I am planning to setup another appointment with Zareh to install a second chandelier and change all the lights to LEDs. I highly recommend this company. Thank you Zareh!
I received a referral for this company because we had an air conditioner issue. They have superior customer service and are experts in this field. Our technician Nazareth was very friendly and professional. He looked at our air conditioner and it took him maybe 5 to 10 minutes to identify the issue and came up with a solution. He had to order some parts and he came back in less than a day and a half and repaired it for us. The company operator was very responsive and also very friendly in reaching out to us for our follow up appointment. We actually had someone else come before him to asses the problem and there solution to the issue seemed a bit strange. He also quoted us a ridiculously high price. I am so happy we were referred to this company and they will now be our go to company for all our air conditioner, electric, and plumbing issues.

Last Friday, during the heat wave, we woke up to an electric burning smell in our home and realized it was from the HVAC unit. We found American Reliable Services on Yelp and called them. They were courteous and scheduled a visit for the same day.
Avo, the technician, called us to provide us with his ETA and upon arrival diagnosed the problem immediately - burnt out motor. He provided us with an estimate and time frame for the repair/fix. We were impressed with Avo's technical ability as well as the fact that he came in on a Saturday and got a new motor installed so that the HVAC was functioning efficiently. Not only did Avo do a great job he was also very helpful and professional.
I'm so glad I called American Reliable Services! I just bought my house, I moved in a week ago. Of course, something with the electrical goes wrong. I have 2 electricians in my life, but I needed a professional. Family and friends seem to do less of a job when they're working for free or at a deep discount.
I already suspected a breaker died, and Armen confirmed my suspicion. He was super nice and explained everything. I had the Yelp coupon, and he happily accepted it. He even explained my fan's dimmer light. We felt dumb for not knowing how to work it, but Armen was again very nice about.
Armen was very quick and neat with his work. We are also very happy with the company's pricing. I will definitely use them again for any other services they offer that I may need.
I had several small electrical projects that I have been meaning to take care of for a long time. I reached out to American Reliable Service. The tech, he said to call him Z, was great. He came and looked at the scope of the work, gave me an estimate. Since some of the things I had on my list were hard to estimate so he gave me a range. Prices seemed reasonable, so we set an appointment for him to do all the work. The day of, he got everything done fairly quickly, found some prior electrical work that was done in a hazardous way by the previous homeowner that he fixed, and cleaned up the areas where he worked. Would definitely call him out again for other electrical projects.
Arthur is amazing!! We are customers for life.

These guys are the best. I was desperately looking for someone to fix my air conditioner because my normal Home Warranty people were not coming through at all so I called American Reliable. They sent David within an hour of my call and David figured out what was needed. He took care of the details and gave me what was a fair price. So it's 112 outside today and our AC went out this morning. Called their office at around 8:30, the tech showed up at 11:30, and he had the unit fixed in under an hour. I had a conversation with the tech and his boss before he arrived to confirm that our unit is still under warranty and all parts will be covered by the manufacturer, so it came out to just $250 for same-day repair. I am honestly blown away by this level of service at this time of year. If your air goes out this summer, I highly recommend these guys.
WARNING WARNING WARNING WARNING!!! DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY THEY ARE A SCAM AND RIP OFF!!! I called this company regarding my clogged kitchen sink. The gentleman I spoke with stated if I had a main line it would be $59 to clean it out. When the so-called plumber got there he said he did not have the tool on the truck to open the drain and that he would have to remove the pea trap under the sink and snake that way. I said would it be around the same price he said no it would be more because of all the EXTRA labor to remove the pea trap. He quoted me a price of $340!!! Well this was at 5:00pm and he knew I was stuck between a rock and a hard place if I had to call out another plumber paying after hour prices... It took him all of 20 minutes to remove the pea trap and snake the line... I will never use this company again!

Our HVAC wasn't working properly. I called American Reliable Services and they were pleasant on the phone and came when scheduled. Our problem could have been any number of issues. Lucky for me it was a simple fix and that is exactly the work done.
Nazeret couldn't have been nicer. He knows what he is doing and does the job quickly and fairly. I highly recommend American Reliable Services for any HVAC issues. I hear they do Plumbing and Electrical. You know I will be calling them for that too.

I am really happy with this company. I had a leak in one of my outdoor pipes and I called several companies in the area and nobody was able to come right away except for this company. They sent someone that same evening and what I was really happy with is that he fixed the problem in about five minutes (it was an easy fix) and that he didn't try to rip me off.
Another company did come out, but the guy told me that in order to fix this one pipe, I had to re-pipe the entire bathroom and spend about $4k! American Reliable charged me $150.
I definitely recommend American Reliable Services.

OH MY GOODNESS! WHAT SERVICE!! Had an electrical emergency, Arthur was able to come out in less than an hour....he was very professional, courteous, and very knowledgeable. I felt like he was being 100% honest with me, and my issue with our West Hills home. We even shared a few laughs, about how crazy ridiculous my situation was! Hopefully in a few weeks Arthur will be back to replace our shoddy 70's Zinsco panel that is totally a fire hazard! Arthur was also very patient with all of my questions and concerns- especially seeing it was 8PM on a Saturday night. I cannot recommend this service enough...if you can, request for Arthur! :)

He fixed our plumbing issue on a Sunday evening so efficiently we can feel secured for our entire families visit this Thanksgiving.
I had no cool air coming from my fairly new split system HVAC unit and figured it just needed a refrigerant charge after doing some online research. Called ARS on a Friday morning and they got me in touch with David, who came out later that day. David introduced himself and went straight to work as soon as he arrived. He installed his equipment and ran some preliminary checks. After a few minutes, he verified that my refrigerant line was empty and most likely there was a leak. After asking me how I would like to proceed, he carried out my request of using a leak-stop agent and fully charging the unit with R-410A refrigerant. After charging, he came into my house (even used shoe booties after I asked) to verify the cold air coming from all the air registers. David did a great job of quickly and effectively fixing my HVAC problem. He also provided some tips on cleaning out the condenser unit to maintain its life and efficiency. I would definitely recommend David and ARS!
It was a great experience using their service. I called at 9 AM. To get quotation and Arthur arrived at my place around 9:30.
He is very knowledgeable about the job. He ever have the type of particular prong that's needed to replace the old busted one. Save so much time instead of buying another one at the store. Arthur is very professional and I'm 100 percent sure using their services in the future.
Once again - American Reliable Services has saved the day for me. They expedited an AC unit repair so that my tenants were able to survive this incredible LA heat wave. This company lives true to it's name - RELIABLE!

They came out and gave us an estimate to fix a leaking pipe and install lights in the living room. Very professional and they do a great job. Very quick to reply as well!
When, in the aftermath of a house flood, our insurance company demanded that our home's circuit breaker panel box be replaced during the holiday season, I was upset. But I'd had American out on some small jobs a few years back. So I called them and Arthur took the call. Less than 24 hours later, the box has already been replaced, at a reasonable price. The guys were on time to the minute, made few messes, and cleaned up those that they did make. They took the time to identify and label the breakers and were courteous and professional--even gracious--at all times. They were also diligent in following instructions to avoid escaped pets. My only complaint is that they weren't able to provide a wide pallette of color choices for the new breaker panel. It seems to me that industrial gray is a rather outdated color. (jk)

Our AC went out yesterday and after searching through many companies on Yelp we decided to go with american reliable services. It was a GREAT choice. We called at 7pm on a Saturday and the nice lady on the phone said that we would have someone out same day. Unfortunately she called back shortly after and said that we would have to have someone come by first thing in the AM.
David came by and called 20 minutes before arrival to let us know he was coming. He found the problem immediately - I'm talking 4 minutes to find the problem. He got our AC up and running within 40 minutes.
We are thoroughly impressed with their service and reliability.

As you can tell from every review on here these guys are the best in Los Angeles. I contacted them through yelp and within 10 minutes got a response. They came out on the hottest day of the year when everyone else was swamped. They came out after hours to help me. The owner contacted me 10 times to explain the work that was done. I could not be happier with these people. These are the top of the line people in the business. It is rare to find a good ac company but even rarer to find great people to deal with. Please don't even look at one more listing or hesitate to use these guys.

Their technician, Avo, is one of the best you can meet. He was considerate (Friday night traffic was delaying him and he called to give me an update on his ETA). He showed up ready to tackle our A/C issue. He was thorough and gave us his professional assessment, and told us what the issue was and went beyond the call of duty. This is a guy who understands honesty and that courtesy is no extra charge. Will definitely call this company for all our future issues and hope we get Avo.
We had a great experience with Zare. There was a long list of work for him to complete. He expanded our main panel and separated all of our kitchen appliances, installed multiple security lights, installed a new pool light, installed a new outdoor post light, installed a new outlet, installed dimmer switches, and ran low wiring for landscape lighting. He was on time both days, easy to work with, and did excellent work. The price was reasonable and I will recommend ARS.
I can't begin to say what a pleasure it was working with Greg on getting our electric panel repaired. I had called several other companies and had horrible responses or they sent service employees that didn't know what they were doing.
By the time I contacted American Reliable Services it was late in the day so I imagined they would respond with see you in a few days. Instead Greg responded immediately diagnosed the problem had parts available and was able to repair the panel very quickly. The price was reasonable too. I will DEFINITELY be calling them again for all my repair needs.

The guys at American Reliable Services did an amazing job on my whole house. From beginning to end these guys were courtesy and most importantly honest. They did my whole interior recess lighting and outdoor patio lighting. The prices were very fair. On 1/21 Armin came out to look at my Electrical Panel. I have a 30 year old house, and like most of us...I've added every electronic gadget on the planet plus exterior lighting over the years....No house built in the 80s was made for the load we put on our 100 amp panels these days. So when half my house went dark (plugs, lights etc) I thought my number was up. I'm a DIY guy...and I'll try anything once...but not the panel. Armin was honest and a straight shooter. He could have told me anything and other than getting 2 more estimates, what could I do? I went with all the great reviews I read on Yelp about these guys.....and they were right.
Armin went on to replace two of my breakers...but first he demonstrated exactly what was happening and why. So here it is folks....ARS might have only made a couple hundred dollars on 1/21....but they now have a customer for life....I'm telling all my friends about them.....and in June when I start the next phase of my home improvements....including ceiling fans and a tank-less water heater....guess what....? Our A/C went out on the hottest weekend of the year. We called your company this morning and Avo showed 30 minutes later. Avo was courteous, knowledgeable and efficient. He also possesses a good attitude and great customer service skills which is something that is harder to find these days.

My furnance after 24 yrs. went out on one of the coldest periods. I was desparate to locate a qualified tech. to replace it, and around 3:00 a.m. on Saturday morning I checked on Yelp and saw the reviews for American Reliable Services and was very impressed. The customer service were very patient with me, and answered all my questions. I was connected to Nasrat who also was very knowledgeable, and scheduled to come within hours. Wow!! Is all I can say. He arrived professional, covered the floor and proceeded to remove my old furnance, cleaned up everything!! I must say this was quite a job, and I couldn't be happier. He did have to call for a backup (also professional) who helped with the install. It was well worth the call, and the price.

Z came to our twice,and did fabulous work both times! The first time we bought a new oven and it required higher ampage then our old one did. He ran a line from the kitchen to the circuit breaker box, and did a really clean beautiful job. The second time he came to make a dedicated electrical line for our new infrared sauna. He did that very professionally as well. Afterwards I asked him to do a few connections on my sauna, and he did so but did not charge me for that. I would highly recommend Z because he's very pleasant, professional, and conscientious.
Our central air broke down on one of the hottest days of the year and on a Sunday to boot. I called at least 20 different companies (all who said they were open on Sunday but couldn't come out till Monday, one company said it would take 2 weeks before a tech could come out) before finding American Reliable. We live in Pasadena and just arrived last night after being away for 4 weeks. Our condo was hot and despite turning on the AC, it wouldn't get below 85 degrees. Needless to say it was difficult to sleep last night. I searched several companies that said they were available 24/7. One company answered but said they couldn't stop by for a week. Three other companies had answering machines pick up. Then i called American Reliable and a very nice lady answered immediately and within 2 hours, Nazaret was here to save the day. He was experienced, professional and a pleasure to work with and yes, fixed our AC! I give these guys a well deserved 5 star rating.

I had a super positive experience with American reliable services. The technician Arthur was not only on time. But was courteous and had a lot of experience and knowledge in the work being performed.
The work they did for me compared to how I perceived the problem was very honest. I was charged me fairly. Rather then making the problems seem bigger than they actually were.
Arthur did a Panel upgrade. Including installing L.E.D recessed lighting. And garden lighting which I have been wanting to get done for a while now. And it came out beautifully. I'am glad I found this company to do the work.

My kitchen faucet lever broke and required a new one installed. After searching for some plumbers in my area, I came across American Reliable Services on yelp and decided to give them a call.
First off, I'd like to commend them for superior work ethics and courteous attitude. Accomodating to my busy schedule, Greg came down on Sunday and took a look at my faucet. That was awesome! But unfortunately I needed to have the water to my unit shut off so he couldn't work on my issue. We rescheduled and Nazaret came down to fix the situation. There were little issues with my bad purchase of a sink and what not, but Nazaret fixed it!
Both Greg and Nazaret are wonderful people, excellent techs, and courteous individuals! I would DEFINITELY recommend them to anyone looking for professional, affordable services in the plumbing, electrical, A/C field. They have definitely made a new customer!
After a lot of tedious searching I decided to give these guys a try. I lost power to 90% of my detached garage which I caused by overloading a circuit. I knew the fix wasn't going to be as easy , and I was dreading the potential cost and the amount of work that needed to be done. Nazaret was at my house within 2 days to take a look at things and give me an estimate. He was pleasant, courteous, and knowledgeable. Our A/C went out on an especially hot night in the San Fernando Valley. We called at around 8pm and the had a tech there by 10pm, earlier than the estimated time and a lot earlier than I ever expected we would be able to get someone out. The technician David was extremely knowledgeable and friendly, he diagnosed the problem quickly. Once we received the estimate from the company ( which was less than I was expecting) David quickly replaced our capacitor and tested the system. We had cool air blowing again and could sleep comfortably. Thank you David and thank you American reliable services for being open 24 hours.

We needed air conditioning and electrical repair in a pinch and after calling several different companies, these guys responded very quickly. (and it was Sunday and the day of the NCAA championships!) They fixed our A/C and then proceeded to upgrade the electrical panel which was a longer process. Avo did a great job handling the permits and making sure the overall process was smooth. Highly recommended!

Well what can I say about this company. .first they are very professional, replied promptly and within 3 days AVO and his crew came in and made my home looking like a million bucks, beautiful work with the exterior lighting and my recess lighting ..when it comes to prices they are very reasonable. .I will definitely use them again...thank you AVO your a good man.
Nazaret is a great guy and you can tell he knows what he's doing. We've had some companies send out a kid who needs an education or more experience in dealing with clients and the many different systems you're going to run into in older houses. You can trust them. so far we;ve had 2 service calls and had no complaints in their service. i will certainly update this review if we run into any conflicts...but i don't see that happening.
I had an electrical problem with my dishwasher and garbage disposal, so I called American Reliable Services based on their great Yelp rating and it turns out, the reviews are right. Nazaret was fantastic! He was prompt, figured out the problem immediately and had it fixed in no time. He was also very nice. I would definitely call again. A+!

From the initial phone call,all the way to the replacement of the A/C compressor,the professionals at American Reliable Services did a great job.
Of course my A/C compressor had to quit on a 98 degree day.Nazaret came to my house on time at 1 PM,checked the A/C out,told me that my capacitor was good but my compressor was shot.He gave me an estimate on replacing the work.I authorized it.He said he will try his best to get it replaced the same day if he can get the part.
I was very happy when he called me in the afternoon to let me know that he had the part.
At 7 PM my house was cold again I was back in business with a FIVE YEAR WARRANTY ON PARTS AND LABOR.

We just purchased a home and overwhelmed with getting it together. Arthur cams by the same day that I called to give us an estimate. They put in all recessed lighting and it came out beautiful. Very helpful and professional they all did a great job.
What a pleasure this experience was and a gem in the landscape of the electrical services industry. I first contacted another supposed 24/7 company to come on a Sunday to handle a relatively simple smoke alarm problem, but is a bigger problem because 2 of them are 16 ft up on on the wall. The malfunction was causing a unit to sound for about 1 second, but every 37 seconds. I worried that it might go off continuously, so I needed a quick reliable fix on a Sunday morning.
The first company I called at 9am said that they would come b/n 11am-1pm which already bothered me because their ad said 1hr emergency service 24/7 and they were going to charge me a hefty service call fee for being on a Sunday, but I still agreed, They called at 11am to say that they would need to reschedule for Monday morning. They had wasted 2 hours and were not going be able to help that day at all.
Then I went on-line and searched and found American Reliable Services. They had a lower Sunday service fee, a very nice and helpful customer service rep who said she would get someone to my home with the right ladder and experience for the job within the hour. True to their word, David arrived 45 minutes later and found the problem by assessing all three of my smoke alarms. He replaced the faulty unit's battery and retested all 3 smoke alarms and charged me only for the service call as he had me fixed right up in less than an hour.
Next time, it's only American Reliable Services for me and I specifically hope to have the work done by David if it is at all possible. Thank you American Reliable Services.

Got a call from my wife that the the thermostat went out. Great! it's 100 plus degrees out and a friday plus i don't know sh** about how to even go about trying to fix the situation. Googled a solution which wasn't written in layman's english, so attempted to find someone else to help out. Found ARS through yelp and got a response from the operator right away. He stated that it would take about 10 min. for a reply.
In 5 minutes, Avo answered the call and asked about the situation. He assumed it was a bad transformer and quoted a fair price. I agreed and he was at my door within 15 minutes. He crawled up in the attic (where the unit is) and it was a sauna. He found that there was no power going to the unit and then he checked the connections on the panels to see where the problem was. Unfortunately, he had to go back up into the attic and search for the power problem. IN less than 10 minutes the air conditioning was back on and he suggested a reasonable solution to the problem. After finding the previous electrician's work sloppy and unintuitive, he helped me plan a long term solution for my ac issues. After all was said and done he charged me the standard fee which was more than fair. Thanks for the professionalism and the no nonsense customer service Avo. Much appreciated.
After a botched self installation of a new NEST thermostat, I was left without a working system at 10pm on a Friday evening. Andy returned my message within minutes, gave me a quote, and had me scheduled for his first available appointment on Saturday. I messaged about 15 different companies and only heard back from 5 within 12 hours. Andy's helpfulness and speedy reply is a blessing in today's climate. I ended up having to cancel the appointment because of the problem being resolved another way, and Andy was even helpful in doing that as well.
Came home after 6 pm from a hard day at work only to find out that the a/c was out. The indoor temp was close to 90 degrees since it had been a hot day.
I quickly yelped any a/c repair businesses but most of them were either closed or could come only late the next day.
Miraculously I found American Reliable and they were quick to answer and had their technician Avo arrive to my house in less than an hour.
He resolved the problem quickly and had our
a/c cooling in no time.
Avo was skilled, fast and very polite. We can't thank him and the rest of the staff enough for being reliable and fast. So glad Avo could come even at a late hour and have our a/c cooling in such a short time.
I called American Reliable Services to fix the cord on my electric clothes dryer. They called me within an hour. This was great since the other companies I called either called a day later or emailed me that they do not make service calls in Fillmore. The service tech Arthur spoke with me on the phone and found the fix for my problem was something he could walk my husband through on the phone. He was courteous and helpful. I will call them in the future.
Highly recommend this company. The office answered my call promptly and connected me to their technician Nazareth immediately. I sent Nazareth a picture of my project and he got back to me in no time with a very reasonable price. The next day he showed up exactly on time and completed the project within 15 minutes. I will certainly use this company in the future. It is a relief to find people with technical and communication skills who reasonable fees and don't waste their customers' time.

The response from the Business Manager is either regarding a different customer (i.e., they missed someone else's appointment as well) or it's simply false.
- There was no mention that the tech was in an accident. We would have been very understanding of that and gladly re-scheduled as it was several days before we were able to get an appointment with the new service provider.
- The explanation we were given is that there was some kind of internal miscommunication and they did not realize they missed the appointment until after they checked their daily notes, AFTER we had called to find out the tech's ETA after he missed the appointment. The dispatcher said (paraphrased), I don't know how we missed it, but we check our notes at the end of everyday and realized after we checked our notes for today that we missed the appointment.
- There was no offer of a discount, or we might have reconsidered, because it would still be several days before we could get a quote from another company anyway.
Mistakes do happen, but the above is the true account of the incident, NOT what the Business Manager details in the reply.
... so maybe they are reliable most of the time and missing our appointment just happened to be a fluke but, comparing the facts with the reply, I've now discovered they can be dishonest. Fair warning.

The most professional company I have ever worked with. From the moment I called about an electrical issue in my condo ( ofcourse my luck ) they were extremely helpful. Arthur came by, arrived early and I was just amazed at his level of professionalism. Super nice, introduced himself to my whole family and got to work. After evaluating the issue, he made some key recommendations and gave me a very reasonable price for the fix. Emergency problems with circuit breaker and they came in, made the necessary repairs, and we were extremely pleased with the service provided all while also providing information as to what the causes may have been. We would definitely highly recommend their services!!!
I can't say enough about the professionalism by everyone I dealt with at American Reliable Services. My mother had a clogged condensation line (on a Sunday). They went out within an hour and made the repairs. My elderly mother reported that they were very attentive and fixed the problem at a very reasonable price! Thank you for the kindness and great service. I will definitely call on them if I need a repair on my a/c.

Overall, I'm pretty happy with the service I received from ARS.
I called and I was told that someone would be there within 30 minutes and so they did.
Armen (a friendly and affable guy) and his understudy found the issue fairly quickly: a bad circuit breaker combine with a faulty GFCI. Armen did a good job in explaining what the problem was
The only reason I'm not giving them 5 stars is because the bill was quiet high for ~ 30 minutes of work and probably something like $20 worth of hardware: $300. That was disappointing.
The exhaust fan in my bathroom was dying -- it was screeching and groaning whenever you turned it on. So I called American Reliable Services since I wasn't sure what specialty it fell under. The guy on the phone was easy to deal with and set me up with an appointment with an electrician on a Sat at a time of my choosing.
The only tiny negative was that the actual appointment ended up being later than my scheduled time, but I was kept informed of the time and progress via phone calls. During one of the calls, Armen, the tech, listened to the fan over the phone and said it sounded like I needed a new motor. So he picked one up before coming over.
Once at my house, it was quick work for him to replace the dying motor with the new one. I had the Yelp coupon and the company also offered a small discount because they couldn't meet their scheduled time for my appointment.
I am very impressed with ARS, especially Armen. Knowing that they also do plumbing, heating and a/d, I won't hesitate to call them again.
I used them before. I needed an electrician and during that service they were awesome. Before they left they said they also had a plumbing and HVAC department. I thought awesome. Sure. I'll use them again because the first service was that great..., and I mean really great! I called when I had a plumbing issue at the top of the week. They didn't have an appointment until Friday, but I completely understood; they're busy. Long story short, he didn't make the appointment, BUT, they worked this issue out for me. They called and rescheduled within my time frame, making it work with a time that worked for ME and were really apologetic. Things happen, but when a company makes you feel like your business is important, they are worth keeping.

Quick response and great service! Very professional folks that didn't waste any time on the job. They showed up on time and they completed their work efficiently and at a great price.
So, I gave these people a good review before for just helping me over the phone and by email. This time I actually used their service and wasn't disappointed. The emailing back and forth worked really well since I can't use the phone from work that much. The responses were generally really fast and very courteous and professional. The tech who worked with me was also really nice (Nazaret) and professional. The work I got done for the house was a new procedure for the city of Redondo so there were MANY contractors who refused to do the job. These guys listened, did their homework, and delivered. I would definitely recommend this company to other home owners.

Well, I only emailed Mike or Sarah D and then talked to them on the phone (haven't had to use them yet), but Arthur was so helpful in getting the right things done with our house.
We recently had our fire alarm system checked by a small local company, and they gave us a report where we needed to fix quite a few things including changing heat detectors that had been painted over by the previous owners. The inspector just looked at them and said all of them had to be replaced, and would charge us about $90 a pop. With other charges and questionable statements in the report, I called around for electricians just to check out our heat detectors.
I talked to Arthur, and he asked me some questions that straightened out a few things. I already have battery operated smoke detectors and carbon monoxide detectors in appropriate rooms. He hasn't seen a house with so many heat detectors like we have (we have roughly 8). He STRONGLY advised me to call the city to find out what we needed to fulfill the city's fire safety requirements.
Instead of pushing an easy sell, I was able to find out from the city that we didn't need the heat detectors at this time. We still may need it, but if we do, I totally trust him now and will definitely be calling him back for electrical help. All other electric and plumbing we need, I know I can call Arthur for help.
I recently renovated a home in North Hollywood and hired American Reliable - specifically Nazaret - to completely redo the electric and plumbing, bring it up to code and ready it to rent. The job was complicated because I live in San Diego, so much had to be discussed over the phone. I found Nazaret to be responsive, friendly, and oh so helpful. He was the BEST. I was looking for a plumber and an electrician and came across this place on yelp. I thought it was pretty cool that it was a one-stop shop for my repairs and with the great reviews, it was worth a try. I was able to get a Sunday appt which was nice. Nazareth came out and he was wonderful. He was very helpful and I originally only asked for plumbing help (thinking that they had different guys for different issues) but since he said he could do electrical too, I had him look at my kitchen. In one visit, he was able to fix almost all of my issues with a smile and at a reasonable cost. It's so good to know that I now have someone I can trust with my home repairs. Thanks, Naz!
Amazing service and excellent technicians! I contacted Andy as I needed something fixed prontissimo (bulbs and timer for the porch). These guys are the best! My smoke detector would not stop going off, Arman was there in an hour and noticed the battery was installed wrong by my son. Such a simple mistake by a 15 year old! Arman was in and out in 5 minutes and didn't charge me at all. The sweetest! I will put them on my speed dial as I owe him one!

This company is great. I worked with Naz and my partner and I absolutely love him. He is very knowledgable and honest. We had our laundry area moved to the top floor (which many told us wouldn't be possible) and he said it wasn't a problem at all and had it done within one week. He also added cabinets around the washing machine for storage which look amazing. He has also helped us with several other aspects of our house. Fixing electrical issues etc. these guys do it all and are so kind. I highly recommend this company.

I was having a couple of issues with my lighting in my ceiling. I called a couple other electricians to look at the issue and give me an estimate and they wanted to replace the whole units and their quotes were on the expensive side. A friend had called these guys a couple weeks ago for an issue and recommended I get one more quote. I made a great decision in giving them a shot, they came out, the issue was pretty simple, took them 15mins to resolve and the cost was a fraction of what the other quotes came out to. I haven't had an issue since and these guys seemed focused on the longer term relationship than making a quick buck. Looks like they do work other than electrical and that's great, if I have an issue they can fix I'll be calling them back.

If you can't take the heat anymore this is the man to call. Nazaret was incredibly professional and thorough installation of my air conditioner. He provided me with all the information I needed prior to the installation and went beyond his job, helping refinish the floor varnish that was removed when the asbestos removal team taped off the area. Would highly recommend his work.
I just bought my property in San Pedro about a year ago and needless to say it needs some work. One of the most important things that was needed was my Main Power Panel upgraded to a 200 amp Panel. The one that I had was push button, super ancient and no main shut off for the power. Not exactly safe for me and my kids. I received 3 different quotes and decided on American Reliable for the job. Author and his guys were GREAT!! They worked all day, plus followed up with the inspection afterwards and patched up my siding!! My house is old and suffers from termite damage so it is not exactly their field of expertise, so Author made sure to call someone in to do the patchwork and made it look really great!! Not exactly easy to do ... but they did a FABULOUS job and I am super pleased. While they were there Author also installed some recessed lighting in my living room and dining room with dimmers, ran a 30 amp disconnect and installed an extra outlet for me all for a very reasonable cost. I will definitely use them again on any future projects. Author is a stand up guy and very trustworthy. He does what he says he will do!!

Nazaret came in with his assistant and immediately got to work. Unfortunately we had a communication error as I was expecting an estimate and he thought he had given me one over the phone. We were able to agree on a price, which I appreciated. His work was very good and my thermostat was installed quickly and easily.
The team did a great job hooking up my hot tub! They even took special care in making the hookups look very nice and hidden! I will use them again soon for my electric car charging port. Very impressed!

We called for emergency AC service on a Sunday afternoon. We had called others, but no company could send anyone until the following day. There was an emergency service fee, but ARS was able to send someone over in 30 minutes. David was our technician - he determined the issue and got the AC working right away. I started to have electrical problems, and my air conditioner went out along with some lights in one of my rooms, so I called American Reliable Services for help. They were out in about an hour and the technician was very helpful. Turned out to only be a bad outlet and he had it fixed in no time. Good service and I felt he was very honest and upfront with me. I highly recommend them.
After calling four different Yelp handyman listings, I was happy to get to ARS. Not sure if I was lucky with same day service, or not, but it was a nice touch. Also, a live voice answering a telephone vs the answering machine telling potential customers to text was also nice. As promised, Avo showed up around 3pm, came in and understood exactly what to do and gave an estimate that was reasonable. Avo switched out a kitchen faucet fixture and a chandelier and did it quickly and accurately. All the while, conversing about his family and his life and times in Burbank. Nice fella. Personable and professional. Avo specializes in HVAC, electrical and plumbing. We will use Avo again.
I'm thoroughly impressed with this business and their customer service. Arthur, their electrician, is incredibly accommodating, communicative and helpful via text, phone, etc. Their office helped pull online permits, their plumber answered a couple questions we had via phone, and the work we needed was done on the weekend with short notice. Even with our tight timelines and tricky circumstances, they have been amazingly supportive and responsive in helping us get the job done so we can close escrow. We plan to use them for our new house as well. It's nice to have a trusted source to turn to. Highly recommend.

I had American Reliable referred got me by another owner of a townhouse complex here in Studio City.
I needed a new completely re-consturcted stairwell hand-rail designed, as when I bough my place - there was none!
I can only say - that Reliable is just as the name states!
BUT: Not just reliable, but more like - perfectly reliable.
They had the resources to find the right contractors to design the most perfect hand-rail that fitted my taste.
I have to admit though - through the process...make sure you are in full communication and contact with Reliable throughout the whole process.
I chose - unfortunately, to do my work over and around a major holiday weekend this year. The 4th of July.
There were a few miscommunications that did happen, but were QUICKLY and fairly resolved immediately by the company!
I do truly recombined this company for ANYTHING that you would need....
It all worked out FANTASTIC with me, and I would think the same for anyone that would have any project for them.
They are BEST at doing stuff that is not normal.
Stuff that is custom designed, and requires custom work - all the while....keeping a very fair price for the work!

We came home and our a/c wasn't working. I went into the attic and noticed that the a/c unit was hot as hell and there was a horrible smell--burning metal and plastic. Suffice to say, we turned off the breaker and immediately called American Reliable Services. Nazaret was here within an hour---mind you, we called at 7:30pm on Friday night. He diagnosed the problem (broken motor and compressor), is ordering the part tomorrow morning, and will be back to fix it Monday or Tuesday depending on when the part gets in. Our water heater broke last friday so we scrambled to find someone to fix it before the weekend. Called a few local companies until stumbling upon American Reliable Services on Yelp. Nazaret came out to our house and gave us a reasonable quote that we could work with. He was very professional and accurate with his work. He did not try to hustle us and did his work in a timely manner. He also helped my dad with another minor electric issue. Upon finding the problem, Nazaret went to his truck to grab a few tools and fixed the outlet. We were satisfied with his work and the service we received from the company.
The electrician, Zari(?), arrived exactly at appointed time, did an excellent job and was courteous throughout his time working on our project. He made sure to install the 240 outlet at a spot in the garage that required the least amount of drilling on the wall. The price was also slightly lower than other quotes. I highly recommend American Reliable for electrical services.

I called american reliable services on Sunday when I noticed that a pipe on the side of my home was leaking I thought to myself good luck finding a plumber that's going to come out on Sunday but then I found american reliable services on Yelp and after looking at their excellent reviews I decided to give them a call. They sent out their technician Nazareth and he told me that the leak is coming from my pressure regulator and that's what needed to be replaced. After he gave me what seemed to be a reasonable price I told him to go ahead and do it and he took care of it right away. After Nazareth left I called a few other plumbers and ask them how much they would charge for this job and they all quoted me a considerable amount more than what american reliable services charged me I am so happy that I found a local reliable plumber and they also told me they do electrical and HVAC work! Hope my home doesn't start breaking down but if something goes wrong I'm glad to know that I can call american reliable and get great quality affordable service.
We are currently renting a place in Woodland Hills and have a room which gets hot. A broken fan. We called American Reliable Services and we got a free estimate. Once we made a second appointment from the electrician Art, he not only fixed the fan but went the extra mile to make sure we were satisfied with the appearance. He gave us a fair price and was very friendly. We highly recommend this company for electrical issues.
Nazaret is fantastic. He came out and figured out the problem right away. When I thought the issue wasn't resolved he came out an hour after I called and double checked everything and changed my filter. Very knowledgeable, honest, reliable man. What more can you ask for?

These men were wonderful. I lost power to my kitchen yesterday evening. I called ARS and was surprised when someone answered the phone immediately. I told her what was happening, she asked me some questions and said someone would be there with in the hour. Less than an hour later, Nazaret showed up, very pleasant, very happy to help on a Wednesday night at 8:30pm. He spent some time assessing, then realized it needed more time but he got me power to keep my refrigerator going. He sent his technicians the next day - they were on time, I was late. They did more trouble shooting, figured out the problem and went above and beyond, making sure everything was working. At no time did I feel like I was being taken advantage of. At no time did I feel at a disadvantage. I felt very comfortable talking to them. I will use them again and again and encourage you to do the same.

I have found my go to service guys! If you haven't been using 'American Reliable Services' you should start!. I stumbled across their business while frantically searching for someone to come out and fix our lights that went out, of course having some one come out right away especially at night is difficult in itself. However; they came out shortly after I called. It was so simple dealing with them, from my intial phone call, to the service. These guys are amazing, they are very kind, professional and answered all of my questions. It was such a pleasure!! Thanks so much, I will definitely be using American Reliable services for all my house needs.
I highly recommend this company, especially since it's one-stop shopping. I originally hired them to service my air conditioner, but the gentleman who came out, Nazaret, also does electrical work and plumbing. I just had him back to replace my kitchen faucet, which turned out to involve a little more plumbing work to repair a leak in the pipes. He did the extra work for no charge. He also replace the recessed LED lights in my kitchen for no charge (other than the cost of the lights). And he did not leave a mess behind.

A little expensive but very responsive, I needed someone at my great aunts house on new years day, hence the expense, and they had a technician there in two hours. Worth having them on speed dial if you want fast turn arounds.
Let me start with the fact that I am a difficult costumer since I have NEVER had a good experience with contractors before working with this company. Before I called American Reliable about my broken water heater, I had called another company that I got from YELP and the service was completely WRONG and could had been downright fraudulent and even dangerous since they left me with a gas leak at the water heater.
The next morning, I called American Reliable Services. First, the dispatcher when I called was kind and pleasant and did not act like I was bothering her. She promised to send me a good technician and on time. Nazareth , the technician that was to work on my water heater called me 20 minutes before arriving and arrived on time. Without me even saying anything about the problem, in 10 minutes he had it figured out.
On the spot, I changed his work order to a more complex project and to my surprise, he said no problem, gave me a reasonable estimate and said he would return next day. He gave me his cell number and we stayed in communication into the night. The next day, he was again on time and did his work very well. The clean up could had been done better but it was at least done. I remained apprehensive about the new tankless water heater installation and I spoke to Nazaret, the installer, and Greg at the main office several times. They were both NOTHING but pleasant and patient with me. They even honored the YELP discount without any problems. Whenever, I need any plumbing, electrical or air conditioning work, I will definitely start with American Reliable Services. They seem to be exactly that, reliable and trustworthy. I hope that they remain that way.

We had an AC emergency in the middle of this unbearable heat spell, so we called American Reliable around 9:15pm. Nazareth was here by 10pm and quickly diagnosed the problem, proposed a solution, and quoted us a reasonable price for the necessary repairs. He explained the situation in great detail and made sure to breakdown the costs for us and our landlord. He was polite and very professional. Highly recommend!
I called them around 10am this morning, and they were able to get someone out here the same day! My air conditioning was leaking-- they took a quick look and turns out the tube was clogged. They were quick and courteous!-- I appreciated that they used this rubber booties to keep my home clean. There is a 49 dollar diagnostic fee for coming out (which can be applied to your final estimate) My air is back up and running! Happy customer here! Thank you.

I am giving this business 5 stars for their friendly employees and excellent customer service. I moved into my house two years ago, the previous company that installed the wiring system in my house didn't do the job right. I was referred to them by a friend and decided to call. The electrician that came to my house immediately knew what was the problem. They fixed it in a timely manner. It's been 2 weeks now and everything is working perfectly. They are friendly, on time and affordable! I have never received great service like this.
They came on time and did an awesome job at figuring out what the problem was and resolved the problem quickly. Will definitely do business again in the future.
I had a fairly serious electrical problem in my guest house. Another well known electrical contractor that advertises a lot sent guys out to take a look. They first said it would take 2 guys about 5 hours, then later 2 guys all day. I called them twice to follow up asking for an estimate and they never provided one. I had Nazaret come out and he gave me a really reasonable estimate and promptly repaired the problem, with a little more work than he originally expected but for the same price, and still finished the job in two hours. And did a great job as well.
This company takes their Yelp reviews seriously. They came on time. They spent the whole day here troubleshooting my AC unit. It was a very hot day during the heat advisory so I know they had a lot of calls that day.
They even threw in a free filter. They provided advice how to keep my AC unit in good working order.
They are very professional and I highly recommend their services.
I almost don't know where to begin I am so happy that I found this company it was around 6:00 o'clock on Saturday and my water heater started leaking I went on Yelp and found american reliable services. I called their office and I was surprised that a person actually answered the phone his name was Greg he told me that he could have a plumber out at my house within the hour. The plumber. Came over was Nazareth unfortunately not found out my water heater tank had sprung a leak and needed to be replaced he immediately drain all the water and to my surprise was able to replace my water heater right there and then. I needed a couple of things done. Ceiling fan install and light switch to outlet rewire. Both jobs were taken care of perfectly and quickly.

Great company! Called them when our aging rooftop furnace/AC was acting up. Of course this happened during the coldest part of the year. We woke up to 50 degree temps in the house. We called several places that morning. American Reliable were the 1st to respond and the 1st to be able to get out to us. Nazaret came and was able to very quickly get us up and running again. He was so quick with this, he told us he didn't feel like charging us was fair. I can't recommend this kind of company enough. Class act!
We used American Reliable Services to completely re-wire our house and add a new 200 Amp panel. They did a great job. They came out and assessed the job and provided a quote that was very competitive. They scheduled LADWP to come out and review the current panel and the electrical line that runs from the pole in the alley to the roof of our house. We scheduled the work for a time that was convenient for us. Due to the age of our house, the job took some time, but they were very thorough, and brought everything up to code, which included adding extra outlets and smoke alarms. Now our house is up to modern standards and we no longer have safety concerns. We strongly recommend American Reliable Services, and will use them in the future for any electrical needs.
I called American Reliable Services about problems I was having with my water heater. The technicians was extremely warm and friendly; she assured me that a technician would be there shortly and that they would be able to fix the problem. As promised, the technician arrived within an hour and immediately knew what to do to in order to fix the problem. Our water heater was working perfectly after the technician left. American Reliable Services has come to my rescue twice now. The first time, we had a dead outlet in the bedroom. We hired a handyman and he was going to open up the walls to find the problem. Before doing that, I decided to call ARS. Nazaret came out, quickly diagnosed a dead breaker, replaced it, and we were back in business. He even identified a leak in our disposal that I was struggling to pinpoint. The second time, we thought we were having another electrical issue and so I called Nazaret again. He quickly came out, showed us that everything was working as it should, and did not charge us for the service call. What a great company and Mike and Nazaret have been EXCELLENT to work with. I highly recommend them!
Arthur is amazing! If you're looking for someone to shoot it straight and tell it like it is, don't look any further. Arthur and his crew completely rewired, added new panel, sub-panel, back-up lights, exit signs for my commercial office building. They performed all the work in accordance with local city and state codes. The pricing was very reasonable and Arthur and his staff are extremely knowledgeable. My painter shorted out our A/C when painting. We found American thorugh yelp reviews and their 24 hour service. We called them at 5:20pm and David arrived shortly before 7:00pm. He was courteous and fixed our blown transformer quickly. The prices seemed reasonable enough. I would definitely use them again. Love the 24 hour service.
I was very worried that my electrical box had a sizzling noise coming out of it. I called American Reliable to my surprise an actual person answered which was great, I told him my concern then he told me that Art will be giving me a call shortly, and he did ( Efficient ). I spoke to Art he gave me a quote over the phone which was very reasonable and made an appointment for the next day. He came over very professional and on time had two workers with him they where polite. They began to work. I was very surprised on how quick and efficient they where and for me the cherry on top was that they cleaned after themselves. It says a lot about their professionalism and how much they care to ensure the customer is happy. I definitely recommend Art and his team. I was very impressed with the service provided by this company. The manager, Andy, responded to my request for a quote quickly and promised to have a tech call me. The tech, Arthur, followed up with me within an hour and after talking over my electrical needs in detail, he gave me a price I was happy with (they beat 4 other quotes) and scheduled me in for the next week. Arthur and his team had a timely arrival and quickly, efficiently, and neatly performed our electrical work, which included changing a 120v to a 240v outlet and installing 10 recessed lights. Throughout the job, they made sure we were happy with the placement of each item added to our home. Arthur also offered very knowledgeable and thoughtful advice regarding electrical throughout our house as well as other aspects of our home remodel. I really appreciate when contractors go over and beyond to personalize their service on top of doing top quality work. I will definitely use this company again and recommend them to others.

So glad we called this company. Our inside air temp was 93° yesterday - 106° outside. This was the only company who said they'd send someone same day. They ended up coming this morning - it got too late last night. But Avo came this morning, on time. Was honest, helpful & gave us tips to help the AC run better. Didn't even charge us!!! Wow! We lost central air in the midst of a 105 degree day At 6pm! We called the HVAC company (Darrow HVAC) that we inherited when we bought our house 3 months earlier, but it turns out (despite our paying for a yearly maintenance contract) they do not have after-hours service!!! Unbelievable! We found American Reliable on Yelp and they truly saved the day. David arrived ahead of schedule, was knowledgeable and professional and immediately diagnosed the problem. I contacted a handful of electricians in my area to get some estimates. After comparing estimates, I decided to go with American Reliable Services. One reason besides the price being the lowest was that the tech they sent out was a few min. early, had clean shoes on, was very professional, clean cut and seemed very knowledgeable when I asked him detailed questions. I needed lighting after a remodel in my kitchen and living room area. I had LED lighting installed in the kitchen and some recessed lighting and some additional LED lighting installed in my living room. My wife is happy and we both had a positive experience with this company.

On a eve of 4 of July, my air condition went bust. I could't locate usual guys who service my air conditioner, and I called American Reliable Services. Service man David was in time very knowledgeable and fast. I would definitely recommend him, and company as a whole. Their prices higher then other professionals, but they don't have a service call fee, they do free assessment (even over the phone, which is amazing nobody I used, does that)

My AC crashed and they came in an hour last night at @ 9:30pm... got it up and working in a few minutes as a temp fix, and then came back tonight after I got off work to fully repair with the filter etc. they needed. Super polite, very responsive.Lovely lady on the phone each time I called (I wish I knew how to spell her name because she deserves a shout out, too). They gave me a very fair price! I actually think a good deal. I will definitely use for any electric, plumbing, AC/Heat issues in the future. Can't say enough good things. Already telling all my friends. Never Yelp but had to!!!

Quick to respond to my request and the pair of technicians quickly and professionally installed new smoke and carbon monoxide detectors throughout our home, as well as some dimmer switches. Even advised on a different switch I needed (and texted me a screenshot of the exact model) so that I could make a quick trip to Home Depot while they were doing the installation and they could finish the job in one visit. Prices were fair, and service was excellent. Will definitely hire them again when we need our new light fixtures installed, and would also trust them with more involved electrical matters. Glad to have found this company!
Our tech Avo gets 5 stars. He showed up near the start of the appointment window and fixed our heater quickly. He was friendly and courteous.
The 3 stars I took off are for the problems we had trying to redeem our Yelp deal (which they have since removed). This morning they had a $50 for $100 voucher. I could have picked anyone on Yelp, but I chose them because of the 5 star reviews AND the Yelp deal. There were other 5 star reviews in my area. My bill was $125. When it came time to pay, they told me the deal was only valid for purchases of $300 or more. What? It didn't say that anywhere on the deal (I read the fine print) AND we had previously mentioned it to Mike who booked our appointment. Avo had to call his supervisor and put me on the phone with her (too bad I didn't get her name). She kept insisting that it was company policy and that they would not honor the voucher under $300. She just kept saying it's company policy. Needless to say, things escalated into a yelling match - because that's just not acceptable. In the end I was fed up and I told her I bought the Yelp deal and if you want to get paid, you can work it out with Yelp. To which she replied what you are doing is not fair. Really? All I did was buy your deal that you wouldn't honor. Who is not being fair?
Avo came to the rescue and told me just to give him the voucher code and a check for the balance and he will work it out with them. Problem solved.
It's ridiculous that they would not honor their own deal, even if they made a mistake and meant to have a minimum purchase. Avo told me my heater is old and will need to get replaced soon. I doubt I will be calling them when that time comes. Too bad because he did a great job. Just poor business practices and lousy customer service from the office staff left me with a bad taste.

I called them on a Saturday afternoon to schedule a Monday appointment, I was asked on the phone if I would like an appointment that afternoon. An hour later Nazaret arrived and took care of all our electrical needs.
He was very kind and incredibly informative.
We have two large electrical projects coming up and American Reliable Services will be our go to resource from now on.
I can't say enough good things about American Reliable Services. When I called the technician Art showed up on time, he was courteous, and explained everything to where my fiancé and I could fully understand what he was doing. I initially called just to have some recessed lighting replaced. Once Art came and inspected the house he took the time to show me that the house had a lot of faulty wiring. He then replaced all the wiring, installed new LED lighting throughout the house, installed GFI outlets, and installed new ceiling fans. I have since called Art 2 more times for other projects and he always is prompt showing up and does an outstanding job. I would also recommend Avo, another technician, who helped Art on a couple of jobs. Both of them do excellent work and are extremely friendly. If I could give them 10 stars I would in a heartbeat, I highly recommend them both.
We had a smoking, sparking outlet at 10 pm last night. American Reliable had an electrician out within 90 minutes and called several times to update us on his arrival time. When the electrician arrived he was professional, quick and efficient. We felt the price they charged was very fair for an 11:30 pm call and we slept a lot better knowing the outlet was properly taken care of. Thanks American Reliable Services!
I found these guys through a general Yelp service request. They got back to me immediately, and I had a guy at my place to check out my problem within 24 hours. He quoted me a price that was well below what my insurance guy quoted me. Two really nice guys showed up the next day, on time, they answered all my questions, were very careful with my property, told me everything that was going on with my overloaded sub panel and how they were going to fix it, and let me know that I would probably need to pay for patchwork, and asked if they should proceed before cutting up the wall. After they finished and turned the power back on, they realized my fire alarm was malfunctioning and let me know. I went to Home Depot that night to buy a new one, and still had the point guy's number on my phone and texted him some questions about which one I should get, and he responded, at 7:30 at night, well beyond his hours. Can't recommend this company enough. Will be going back to them for any future issues.

I have waited several months to write this review for ARS. Because I wanted to see how the work they did held up. I'm pleased to say that after working with Arthur and ARS for over 2 Months! On several different projects. Iam absolutely thrilled with the results. Arthur was incredibly responsive, honest, and competitive when it came to price. What I wanted was to get high-end quality work for a reasonable price, and that was what I received. Aside from the work inside my condo, Arthur was terrific in dealing with my neighbors, and ensuring that their concerns were met as well! And the work is guaranteed and has held up extremely well. I called American Reliable Services during the heat wave in the summer (September 2015), when our AC unit went out. The wait was about one week before any other company could even come out to inspect/repair our unit. These guys not only came out within the hour of me calling, but they fixed and cleaned our AC unit for a reasonable price. What makes this company even better, is that I had lost my receipt from a month and a half ago, and needed it to give to our landlord for reimbursement. Mike was able to backtrack his files and email a copy of the hand written receipt within minutes of me reaching out to him! I like to go out of my way for companies that treat their customers with respect and with the utmost professionalism. Keep up the great work!
This company really practices what they preach!!! I've had leaky faucets in my bathroom and kitchen. I've called other repairman in the past and they've fixed it before but like a broken record the issue keeps recurring. Nazaret was referred to me by a co-worker. He took care of my issue at a very reasonable cost all the while showing me what the real issue was all along. It's really refreshing for somebody to have honesty and integrity in the work that they do and do it at a fair cost. Called and they said they serviced Temecula. They called day of appointment and cancelled because we were too far. Don't set up an appointment then wait until day to look up the address. Took day off of work still no air.
They were great!!!! Responded to my email and showed up within a day. Armen the tech. Showed up and he was friendly and professional. Most importantly, he was honest and did not charge at all. It turned out to be just a lightbulb in one room and a bad receiver in the other. He said it was an easy fix (something we can do ourselves) and charged me nothing. Three out of my five 15-year-old smoke detectors went off at the same time when there's absolutely no smoke in my house. After doing some research, I realized I was supposed to replace them every ten years or so. So I purchased five new smoke detectors. I decided to hire an electrician to do the job to avoid any possible human error. Based on the Yelp reviews, I decided to call American Reliable Services last Friday, July 17, 2015, I was told someone will call me back shortly. Art called me back within 24 hours, when I told him I already bought the parts, he said he will call me back and give me a quote on the labor cost. Five minutes later he called and quoted me an unbelievably reasonable labor charge. He and his coworker came within an hour, replaced all five smoke detectors and they even waited another ten minutes just to make sure none of them would go off unexpectedly. Both gentlemen were very polite, professional and efficient. The whole job took them less than 30 minutes to complete, I was totally impressed! Best of all, Art even called me today to make sure everything goes well, their service sure goes way beyond my expectation, which makes American Reliable Services my go to company whenever I need to get the job done. We lost all electricity at the house yesterday and I found ARS online and called them. I had actually called another electrician out first but they didn't have the parts on hand so they only gave me a quote. I explained the situation the ARS rep and she had an electrician call me back to verify that he had the parts. I then communicated directly with the electrician, Art. He came to the house with an hour and assessed the problem and actually quoted me a cheaper price. He finished the work very quickly and gave us his professional opinion so we ended up having him just replace all the breakers for the house. But at no point did we ever feel like he was overselling us of misleading us in any way. He was very professional and easy to understand so it made the whole process simpler. After he changed out new breaker for us we told him that there's two light switches in the house that doesn't work and he actually fixed one of them at no charge since it was an easy tasks for him. The other light required much more work so we decided to just leave it. All in all we were really satisfied with his work and would definitely recommend them to anyone.

Light switch problem. Fast reply for an appointment and work on Sat. It was good point.Came on time and good explanation about the problem were also great.
I called and arranged the appointment for a leak in a bathroom lavatory sink. Nazaret was there on time and discovered and fixed the problem with the faucet and 2 other problems. One of these was a chronically partially clogged p drain in another bathroom. I was amazed at how quickly he was able to correct the problem. There was a slight residual issue that was seen the next day and he came and corrected that as well, again with promptness,confidence and ability.

We recently moved into our new house and needed plenty of electrical work done. We contacted ARS for a quote and when we told them other quotes we had gotten, they not only matched it, but went lower than the other companies. When Armen came out for the original quote he was very professional and personable. He walked my fiance and I though everything that needed to be done. He was very patient with us as first time home owners not knowing much about electrical work. He showed up yesterday for the work and did a fantastic job! He fixed dimmers, replaced fixtures, broke out the exhaust and light in the bathroom, put lights in the shed, fixed our grounding, and replaced the main panel all in one day! I HIGHLY recommend ARS for electrical work and given our great experience, we might be bringing them back to do some plumbing work as well.

As the name says they're reliable! First I had called around before noon on Saturday, technician came around half an hour earlier than promised, reliable scheduling. Secondly, the estimate was fair and affordable for the work. They don't charge any initial dispatcher/inspection fee which is a big plus unlike other businesses; so the estimate must make sense in order to get a business. Nazaret & his brother were awesome on fixing gas leak (in my case), they knew what they're doing, listened to my concerns. Happy with their work. And he assured me that I could count on him anytime should the leak remain. Sure enough gas company finally came and found no more leak. I recommend using their service as they are Reliable, Affordable, and Trustworthy.
Called at 9 p.m. assuming I'd reach a voicemail to request service the following day and phone was actually answered by Arthur who was covering for the dispatcher. He spent a good 15 mins patiently on the phone troubleshooting, made a tentative diagnosis, purchased the probable part for me and scheduled an appointment the following day. Told me he'd call the next morning to confirm his schedule and before coming to my house and HE DID! His diagnosis was ACCURATE, problem solved quickly and efficiently. Felt like being in a time warp because it's so rare to find this kind of OUTSTANDING and RELIABLE customer service these days.
Nazaret did a great job diagnosing the problems that were causing leaks in my AC unit and coming up with solutions to fix the problem. I had called 2 other companies before calling American Reliable and they never actually addressed the root cause but Nazaret was different. I should've contacted American Reliable from the start and saved myself a lot of money. Nazaret even takes time to make follow up calls to ensure that everything is working properly. Nazaret will be my go to guy from now on for all things HVAC / plumbing related.
Amazing is all I can say for the service I received. My pool lights were not working for a few months. I called a few places and they came and couldn't figure out what was happening. American reliable services figured it out in less than five minutes. They gave me a great price and now I can use my pool during these hot summer nights !

I have a hot water heater problem which my husband couldn't figure out how to fix. We have a weird model (morflo/American brand) that has some kind of furnace attached to it. We just bought the condo 2 yrs ago & we were puzzled... so we called around and everyone said they don't have parts for this brand. On a whim (& a prayer) later, I called these guys and they said they know how to repair American water heaters. Nazaret came out with another guy, & they both looked at it & figured out the problem right away. They said it was the valve that was the issue, but that since the unit is old it's better to replace with a regular 40 gal water heater. They also said the puzzling furnace attached in unnecessary & it doesn't do anything. Since I wasn't expecting to change it out completely, I told them I'd have to talk to my husband 1st. They understood & gave me no pressure. They still checked everything else out to make sure to tell me whatever else I need to know. Real stand-up guys. If we don't use them for this, we will definitely use them again for whatever else & recommend them to our friends. It seems like a one-stop shop for all your needs. Today I called American Reliable Services not knowing I was actually going to get someone to come out today. The answering party was very helpful and assured me the electrician is qualified and professionl! She also worked with MY schedule. Art who was the electrician who came to fix the botched up electrical to a kitchen of a home that was just remodeled, particularly the garbage disposal. Everytime anyone would use it, it would trip. The worst part of the ordeal is that we would have to crawl underneath the sink, reach behind the garbage disposal to reset the plug, this would be repeated everytime it was used! Art explained the problem, worked his magic and he was able to fixed our nightmare. Art explained what he found behind the plug, the cause of our problems and how he was able to fix it. Art was very professional, knowledgeable and kind. I can see he enjoys his job to take time to explain the issue at hand and what he was able to do to fix the problem. I am very pleased with my experience with this company and will definitely use this company again in the future.

Came home from 4 day vacation on Fathers Day (Sunday Evening) in a massive heatwave to find a house that was 100 degrees with no working AC. Found your listing online for 24/7 service. Nazeret came to my house at 10pm that night and got my system working in an hour. I needed 2 more service calls with him (all at 10pm) before the system was dying and needed immediate replacement. This company is awesome. I called to have my light switches to be fixed and they sent the electrician right away. They are truly reliable. Will definitely call them again.
I called American Reliable on a Saturday around 5:30pm. Within half hour or so their technician Arthur called. He said it sounded like some circuits were overloaded causing my AC to cut out. I may need a dedicated line and it could cost around $400 but sometimes it could be something really simple. Within 10 minutes he was at my house and in 5 minutes, re-routed some lines in the fuse box to fix the overloaded circuit. He didn't charge me a dime and wouldn't even take a tip. He was very knowledgeable and took the time to explain the problem and the solution. I was very impressed with his service and would HIGHLY recommend this company and especially this technician.

Called ARS and they came within hours!! How is that possible in Los Angeles? Not only were they on time but the service I received from Arthur was succinct and his description of the problem was easily understood...The electrical problem I have is multi-fold, and if this fix doesn't hold, then we move on to the next level.
We had an emergency air conditioning leak in our attic! It was late into the evening and we called American Reliable because of their 24 hour service. Avo came to our rescue an hour later. He knew it wouldn't be an easy fix and he insisted he could do it with some time. He updated us through the evening and showed us the progress he was making. Before he left, he made sure that we would contact each other in the morning to be sure all was working well. He even followed up with us a second time! I would recommend this company, and especially Avo, to anyone!

I can not say enough good things about this company. Our hot water heater went out on of course a friday night. My husband in a panic called Mike Diamond. They said they would come out, never did, never called. Thank heaven because those reviews are awful . I called several other people but no one comes out on Sunday night. Than i saw American Reliable Services. They are based in LA, but also do Orange County. The dispatcher was warm and friendly and spoke perfect English. Always a plus. She worked around our schedule. Eckert was our tech, he called when he was 10 min late. Was professional and told us what we needed. The call and the repair on a Sunday night was 225.00. My gosh I felt like it was free. I have been ripped off in the past, especially by heating and plumbing people. ARS was dependable, resonalble, and fixed the problem right away. I will use them again and again. I will let anyone who needs heating or plumbing know. This is a great company.

Let me start off by saying thank you to ARS. Best service I've ever had being a homeowner for 11 years.I had no power yesterday night at 12:30 AM so I called ARS they picked up from the second ring. Nice lady picked up and I explain to her what the situation was she told me don't worry we'll will be there in 30 to 60 . There we're here in 30 minutes. The guy that came out his name was art he was a very nice gentleman . They gave me a coat and I was so surprise it was cheap . I called one other company they didn't even want to come out they said if they came out they had to charge us .And they would take him 2 hours . He was done at 2:30 Plus he didn't charge us till this morning because he didn't want to bother us it was too late. Thank u so much ARS God bless this Company I would definitely use this company for any problems I have in the future thank u ARS . They also do plumbing and air-conditioning call them for any needs .
Bought a ceiling fan early this morning, prior to noon it was installed. The lady who booked my appointment was friendly & efficient, & had a service technician to my home within just a few hours. Art, the installer, was speedy, knowledgeable & neat in his work. On Yelp, I purchased the $50 application towards $100 in work, that certainly assisted in reducing the cost. I will give American Reliable Services another go on my next needed home repair.
I contacted American Reliable Services and asked them to give us a quote on electrical repairs to a fixer-upper my daughter recently purchased. I read great reviews on Yelp so I contacted them and I wasn't disappointed. Arthur, who was the Manager-Supervisor, was very professional, on time, and always available by phone or text whenever I contacted him after hours His crew installed a new 200 AMP panel, removed and replaced all the existing wiring and conduit and installed all new MC cables. They also installed all new LED recessed lighting throughout the house. It looks amazing. They did extra work like installing bathroom exhaust fans, ceiling fans, and hard-wired smoke detectors and carbon dioxide detectors. Their prices were very competitive and reasonable and within our budget. We are very, very, happy with the time they took to do it all. I would recommend them to all my friends and family and will definitely call them again for all my electrical needs. Thanks Arthur and your wonderful crew for making this huge job less stressful for us by being so calm and knowledgeable about your work and also for giving us so much advice and many tips on how to proceed on other projects we were doing.

Seriously, I'd give 10 stars if I could!! I called SEVERAL electricians to repair a problem in the back of the house where the electric lines from the telephone polls meet the house, and just needed to get it reinforced. Out of 8 electricians I called, only two called me back, one of which was American Reliable Services. AND they were the most friendly and eager to help me. The first electrician came in the morning and, no joke, wanted to rebuild the entire area where the connection was, going WAY over and above what I wanted or needed. And the cost was in-SANE! And I was told that was really my only option. Then came Nazaret from American Reliable Services. For starters, he just couldn't have been nicer and one of those people who really cares about his customers. He gave me a really fair price for exactly what I wanted, no unnecessary extras and the price I paid was for what he quoted. I really appreciate that! His price was 80% lower than the last guy who wanted to practically rebuild my house! LOL! Really, do yourselves a favor and call this company if you need the type of services they offer. I already did the homework and they deserve all the praise they get on here. I HATE feeling like a victim with most of these companies that recognize we don't know about electrical issues or plumbing, etc. So it's easy to get taken, which I almost did. Really impressed with them!!!
I had a great experience today with Armen from American Reliable Services. He installed seven 3-prong outlets within minutes. He was courteous and professional. I chose American Reliable Services because of their outstanding yelp reviews. I am really glad that I did. I will definitely call American Reliable Services in the future.
AVO IS THE BEST! -- Our air conditioning went out in our nursery around 5pm and we needed someone to come take a look and fix it that night. Called American Reliable and they said someone could come over in two hour. An hour later I got a call from a guy named Avo. He said he was 20 minutes away. Showed up and could not have been nicer or more professional. He was also so attentive to the fact that our baby was sleeping. He quickly figured out our issue and fixed it immediately. He also was willing to help me install a new thermostat I had bought. Even after he left, I called him with a question because something wasn't working and he offered to come all the way back to our house despite being in traffic. Luckily though, he was able to tell me what was wrong over the phone so he didn't have to. I would recommend him to anyone with the highest praise and call him to come back if we have any more HVAC issues. A class act all around.
A few days ago I had a power problem I call this company and these guys came right away it was really late and I was very surprised on how fast they came and help me with my power had no problem with them and there prices are so good I was very satisfied with there job.if you have any problem with your electricity plumbing this guys do it all there great.I'am a happy customer,
As many people in LA could remember, the month of January was surprisingly cold, rainy and windy, with a lot of technical problems for some people.My wife and I were among them.We had an electrical issue in our condo.All of the electrical outlets in our kitchen stopped working.We were trying to find a reliable electrician trough many sources.Unfortunately, our search was not very optimistic.We were very discouraged, to find a lot of complaints and negative reviews about dishonesty or incompetence of many professional people or companies.It took us almost 3 long days, till we found the reliable source of such information, the YELP site.We discovered, that the most of the reviews at YELP were much more objective and reliable than other sites /thanks, YELP/.After a short search, we found a lot of positive reviews about ARS. We were very optimistic after talking to Mike.He was very nice, very patient and encouraging.Mike promised us fast and reliable service.Nazaret, one of the ARS technician came to our place in time.He was very fast to find the problem in our circuit and fix it relatively quickly.Nazaret also gave us very valuable practical advice, how to prevent such problems as ours in future.And the charge for all of this, was very fairly decent. Coming to the happy end of our story, me and my wife /being retired for long time/ came to logical conclusion, that our positive experience in this field, is not common.Unfortunately, in this time of economical depression and low quality customer service in this country, to find a reliable professional company, who cares, not just about their own needs, but about other people's needs as well, is not easy task. My entire experience with American Reliable Services has been exceptional. From my first meeting with Nazareth I knew that I had found the team to renovate our new condo. Nazareth carefully listened to my needs and wish list and provided a very reasonable estimate. He then completed every part of the renovation on time and on budget. Nazareth takes great pride that his work be of the highest quality and it shows. Although I made several changes midway through the project, Nazareth met each of my requests with a smile and willingly accommodated by requests. I will definitely use ARS for all my future projects and absolutely recommend them without reservation.
Ok, these guys saved my weekend. I can't even TELL you how great they were for me. I came home on a Saturday afternoon, and it was over 100 degrees out- turned on my AC and it didn't work. I spent HOURS trying to find a reputable place that could come out on a Sunday- American Reliable Services got back to me IMMEDIATELY and I had a technician scheduled for the next day! Avo K was actually EARLY to the appointment, immediately diagnosed a likely issue, and fixed it- a half hour after his arrival, my AC worked again, and Avo had carefully explained to me what was broken, how he repaired it, WHY it was broken, and gave me a couple ideas for the future. For me, AC is basically a medical necessity- and American Reliable Services charged me an amazingly low price for AC service on a SUNDAY (one supposed to be well over 100 degrees I might add). Let me tell you, I'm keeping their # because that level of service and turnaround is nothing short of miraculous these days.

I had a pin hole leak in a copper line near the water heater. I called the company around 6am. Thankfully, Nazaret came around 45 minutes later. I was pleased that he came so quickly. He was fair and nice. Hopefully, I don't have any more problems. Thank you.
I called American Reliable Services because my garbage disposal stopped working, for some reason. It was only making a humming sound. When I called, I spoke to Greg and he told me not to use the disposal and that it would be a simple fix, which calmed me down. We were able to schedule an appointment between 4pm and 5pm. I was surprised when Greg called me at 3:45 and said the technician would be at my house at 4:10. Not only did Nazaret get there on time, but he also was very friendly and informative. He opened the cabinets under the kitchen and after looking at my garbage disposal for less than a minute, he said he could either repair it by unjamming it for $55.00 and only give a 10 day warranty or replace it for $250.00 and give me a 1 year warranty. I decided to to replace my disposal because it was so old. After he was done, he cleaned up his work station under the kitchen sink and then filled out my invoice. I had a great experience with American Reliable services and I'm very happy with the services they provided. They are definitely reliable. Thanks a lot Nazaret! Now I know who to contact for my plumbing.
These people are fantastic! The dispatcher Mike was super helpful and was able to send me a technician within 30 minutes of my call, which was a miracle because the two other places I had called couldn't even guarantee a service call this week! My air conditioning broke down on the hottest day of the year and I was desperate. My technician Nazaret arrived in 20 minutes and fixed the problem in less than 30 minutes. He was professional yet friendly and extremely knowledgeable. I fully expected an upsell but actually received the opposite. He told me that the unit just needed a new fuse and after a quick exchange, the air kicked in. Whoo hoo! He also said that although the unit isn't new it's working fine and no need to replace it any time soon. He has definitely earned my business and my trust! I'll be a customer for life. I'm sure all of their technicians are great but if you can, ask for Nazaret.....He's awesome!

I was having problems with my air conditioner turning on and called American reliable out to make sure it was not the electricity and if I needed to call an air conditioning repair company. The guy that came, after looking around, said that the wiring was bad and something in the attic needed to be replaced and it would be over $900. He also began to tell me that service done prior by another electrician was done wrong and a safety hazard, I'm sure that he would also charge me more to fix. I held off on the repair due to the cost and the next day went through my home warranty company where I only had to pay a service visit of $65 for the repairs. The funny thing is that the next electrician that came said there was absolutely NOTHING wrong and there were NO repairs needed. So american reliable was going to charge me $900 for NOTHING!!!!!! I have a family and 3 kids and lots of bills each month. How dare this messed up company try to screw me out of my hard earned $900 that I can't even afford!!! Would never recommend this company!!
